Abstract

The 2003 National Education System Law outlines the purpose of national education, emphasizing vocational education as secondary education aimed at preparing students for specific fields of work. However, the COVID-19 pandemic has created challenges in achieving these goals, prompting a need for evaluation and solutions. To address this, a program evaluation is proposed, focusing on analyzing the Industrial Work Program (PKL) in terms of design, implementation, process, and outcomes. The evaluation aims to assess the alignment between program objectives and actual results, considering factors such as program design, HR requirements, implementation scope, street vendors' involvement, and outcomes for schools, students, and industry partners. The Discrepancy Evaluation Model (DEM) by Malcom Provus is chosen for its ability to compare expectations with reality. The evaluation will employ both quantitative and qualitative methods, utilizing questionnaires, observations, interviews, and document analysis. Qualitative data analysis involves activities such as data reduction, display, validation (triangulation), and conclusion drawing, while quantitative analysis utilizes descriptive percentage analysis. The research seeks to generate recommendations that improve education quality and program evaluation practices, particularly in ICT-based competency development during the pandemic transition. By providing a detailed evaluation, the study aims to offer actionable insights for enhancing the PKL program's effectiveness and contributing to educational advancement.

Abstract

This study aims to construct a model of supervision of the Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBD) consisting of: (1) transparency of public policy affects the supervision of the APBD, (2) public accountability affects the supervision of the APBD, (3) religiosity moderates the transparency of public policy to the supervision of the APBD, (4) religiosity moderates public accountability to the supervision of the APBD. This research was conducted at the Malang City Government DPRD Consultant in 2022. Using explanatory research with a saturated sample technique, as many as 44 council members were obtained, excluding the chairman and researcher. Data related to the research variables were collected through questionnaires given directly to respondents. Furthermore, the data was analyzed by moderation double linear regression. Previously, validity, reliability and classical assumption tests were carried out. The hypothesis was tested using a t-test with a 5% alpa. The results prove that: first, transparency of public policies has a significant positive effect on the supervision of the APBD, second, public accountability has a significant positive effect on the supervision of the APBD, third, religiosity strengthens the influence of public policy transparency on the supervision of the APBD, and fourth, religiosity strengthens the influence of public accountability on the supervision of the APBD.

Abstract

Peribulbar blockade is a regional anesthetic technique that can be used for vitrectomy surgery. Ropivacaine and levobupivacaine are local anesthetics that have the advantage of a long duration of action and a lower complication rate than bupivacaine. This study aims to find the effect of intraocular pressure from ropivacaine and levobupivacaine. The study design was a double-blind randomized controlled trial on 60 patients underwent vitrectomy at Netra Ophthalmic Clinic Bandung with peribulbar blockade. Twenty-nine subjects received 0.75% ropivacaine and thirty-one subjects received 0.5% levobupivacaine for peribulbar blockade. Assessment of eye intraocular pressure was assessed before the block, 5 minutes, 10 minutes, and 15 minutes. The 0.75% ropivacaine group obtained an average of 4.42mmHg at 15 minutes, while the 0.5% levobupivacaine group averaged 2.33mmHg after 15 minutes after injection. Statistical results obtained p value <0.05 which means significant intraocular pressure of the two drugs. Intraocular pressure of ropivacaine 0.75% lower than levobupivacaine 0.5% in peribulbar blockade in vitrectomy surgery.

Abstract

Urban territorial expansion and forest disclosure are two examples of large-scale modifications necessary because of population growth and the rising demand for land. The paper analyzes the various facets of urban development and the essential role that hydrology plays in planning construction projects and water infrastructure. Hydrology study becomes essential for engineers designing and developing structures involving water resources, especially when flood conditions arise. The paper explores two commonly used flood hydrograph approaches, the Nakayasu Synthetic and the Soil Conservation Service (SCS) Unit Synthetic, concentrating on the design of flood discharge and its significance in flood management. The study provides insight into the feasibility of existing hydrograph techniques for determining flood discharge and is based on bibliometric data from earlier studies.
