COVIT (Community Service of Health) : Jurnal pengabdian kesehatan masyarakat adalah jurnal yang mempublikasikan hasil pengabdian kesehatan masyarakat yang terintegrasi dengan bidang kesehatan masyarakat. Jurnal ini berguna bagi tenaga kesehatan masyarakat di dinas kesehatan, puskesmas, mahasiswa kesehatan masyarakat, tenaga pengajar kesehatan masyarakat khususnya dan bidang kesehatan lainnya pada umumnya. Jurnal Pengabdian kesehatan masyarakat menerima naskah dalam bentuk hasil-hasil pengabdian masyarakat baik dalam bahasa Indonesia maupun bahasa Inggris. Naskah yang diterima adalah naskah yang belum pernah dipublikasikan sebelumnya. Kami berharap artikel-artikel pada edisi ini bermanfaat bagi dunia ilmu kesehatan masyarakat dan dunia kesehatan.

Abstract

Kangkung land (Ipomea reptans Poir) is one of the horticultural plants that are very popular with the people of Indonesia because of its savory taste. This plant belongs to the group of seasonal crops and is short-lived and does not require large areas to cultivate it so that it is possible to cultivate it in cities where land is generally limited. In addition to the savory taste, the nutrients contained in kale vegetables are quite high. Kale production in Indonesia can reach 10?646.00 tons in 2021 (BPS 2021). The marketing opportunities for land kale are getting wider to supermarkets with the entry of kale vegetables to supermarkets will increase the selling price of this vegetable (Taufik, 2012). This water spinach plant (Ipomoea reptans) is only sold in the market and processed into vegetables, even though there are many processed products that can be used as healthy snacks from this kale raw material. Kangkung is one of the most popular vegetables in Indonesia. This plant comes from the tropics, especially Africa and Asia. Kangkung contains nutrients such as protein, fat, carbohydrates, calcium, phosphorus, iron, sodium, potassium, vitamin A, vitamin B, and vitamin C. (Priyowidodo, 2012). The purpose of this activity is to explore innovative ideas, increase creativity, instill an entrepreneurial spirit, train mentally and teach to work hard and be responsible. In addition, another goal is to reduce the waste generated by processing it into kale chips, kale sticks, and kale nuggets. There are several obstacles faced, namely (1) Limited capital. (2) Low motivation for entrepreneurs with kale as the main ingredient. (3) There is no diversity of processed kale products. (4) The absence of packaging and marketing of kale. Abstract

Immunization in the national health system is a very effective form of health intervention in efforts to reduce infant and toddler mortality. Ridan Permai Village is one of the villages in the working area of ??the Bangkinang Public Health Center, Kampar Regency. When a survey was conducted by the team for the head of Ridan Permai Village, information was obtained that there were still several mothers who had not provided basic foundations for their children under five. Toddler age is an age that is vulnerable to various diseases, so this age really needs protection such as providing basic nutrition. Based on the situation analysis and problem assistance mentioned above, a problem can be formulated, namely the need to socialize basic emotions for mothers who have toddlers in Ridan Permai Village. The implementation method used in this activity is in the form of counseling on basic emotions for mothers who have toddlers. This activity took place in Ridan Permai Village on August 12, 2022. The result of this community service is that it can increase the knowledge and desires of mothers who have children under five. It is also hoped that this activity will not end in service activities, but can form cooperation in disseminating information about immunization in improving health status, especially in children under five. Abstract

Adolescence or odelesence is a dynamic growth and development phase in an individual's life. Ridan Permai Village is one of the villages in the working area of ??the Bangkinang Public Health Center, Kampar Regency. When a survey was conducted by the team for the head of Ridan Permai Village, it was found that adolescents rarely receive reproductive health counseling, reproductive health checks and other activities that can support the reproductive health status of adolescents. Adolescents are also a group that is vulnerable and at risk of experiencing various reproductive health problems and behavioral deviations in a negative direction because they are still in the search for identity phase. Based on the situation analysis and problem identification mentioned above, a problem can be formulated, namely the need for reproductive health counseling for adolescents in Ridan Permai Village. The implementation method used in this activity is in the form of counseling on reproductive health for adolescents. This activity took place in Ridan Permai Village on August 18 2022. The result of this community service is that it can increase adolescent knowledge about reproductive health and the status of adolescent reproductive health is monitored and has increased. It is also hoped that this activity will not end in service activities, but can form cooperation in disseminating information about reproductive health and other public health issues in improving public health status in general. Abstract

The Corona virus can cause disorders of the respiratory system, acute pneumonia and even cause death. This virus spreads very quickly and has spread to almost all countries, including Indonesia. Preventive efforts in the health protocol implemented by the community in breaking the chain of transmission of COVID 19 during the New Normal period, namely by getting used to using masks, washing hands with soap (handsanitanizer), maintaining distance (social distancing), staying away from crowds and avoiding traveling outside the area, especially the areas that have been declared as red zones. In Pulau Jambu Village, there is still low public awareness of compliance in implementing health protocols in the new normal era in preventing Covid-19. Many people still don't use masks in public places, don't pay attention to social distancing and still have low awareness of washing hands. Health promotion regarding the prevention of Covid-19 is carried out to increase public knowledge and awareness to decide the transmission of the Covid-19 virus. This activity starts from the preparation stage, implementation of activities. After the PKM was carried out on July 17 2020. The result was that there was an increase in public knowledge about how to prevent Covid 19. Abstract

The mandate of Law Number 27 concerning the management of coastal areas is the government's representation for coastal communities to develop the potential of Natural Resources and Human Resources (NR and HR).Through its enormous marine potential, it should provide hope and opportunity, especially for coastal communities to become prosperous communities. So with such a large marine wealth, it seems unbelievable that it has not been able to prosper the lives of the fishing community. Most Indonesian fishermen still live within the poverty line. The poor criteria are shown by the low income of fishermen, so that they still experience difficulties in meeting their basic needs for food, clothing, health, housing and a decent level of education.In order to realize a prosperous coastal community, creativity and innovation are needed to encourage and maintain food security so as to provide effective solutions for poverty alleviation in the village of Branta Pesisir, Tlanakan District, Pamekasan Regency. Abstract

Based on the observations of the PKM TEAM, Partners experienced a drastic decline in sales and were predicted to go out of business due to the Covid 19 pandemic. The decline in sales and high production costs were due to PPKM. With a combination of knowledge from Biogas Renewable Energy (Physical Sciences), Quality and Quantity Management (Physical Sciences and Management Sciences), Financial Management (Economics), Marketing Management (Economics and Business Sciences) and even taking care of business licenses (Legal and Administrative Sciences) , and online sales using the Application (Informatics Engineering). This scientific combination method is carried out, in order to maximize the batik production process in UMKM ISHAK Batik, Managerial UMKM ISHAK Batik and batik sales using Offline and Online. This method can increase sales of Batik despite the PPKM implemented by the Indonesian government. The increase in sales is about 25% of the batik production fund. Abstract

The waste problem is one of the important problems faced by Indonesia. However, people's understanding of the importance of waste management is still not ideal. The importance of education regarding waste management needs to be done early on so that the harmful effects of waste can be reduced. For this reason, the purpose of this community service activity is to create awareness and increase children's basic school knowledge about the importance of sorting waste according to its type. Method This community service activity is in the form of counseling and hands-on practice, where the children of SD Negeri 008 Salo are directly taught to sort waste and put the waste in the organic or non-organic bins that have been provided. The result of this community service is increased knowledge about waste management and the application of basic schooling by children starting from their own environment and daily life. Suggestions for further community service activities can be directed to the practice of how to process and recycle organic and non-organic waste. Abstract

Coastal areas have fishery potential that can be processed into various processed food products. Through processed innovations made from fish, the fishery potential of coastal areas can be optimally utilized. Malalanda Village is one of the villages located on the coastline of North Buton Regency. Utilization of fishery products, especially tuna and skipjack, is still limited, apart from being consumed in fresh form after going through the cooking process, skipjack is processed into smoked fish and marketed directly as a typical culinary product from North Buton Regency.  Nuggets are one of the processed food products that can be made using fish known as fish nuggets. This community service aims to introduce processed fish products in the form of fish nuggets to fishing communities, especially fisherwomen and young women in Malalanda Village, Kulisusu Subdistrict, North Buton Regency. This activity was welcomed by the Village government and the Malalanda Village community. Abstract

The use of technology is a demand that must be carried out in the 4.0 era. In the world of education, technology can be used as a medium of learning. This technology-based learning media can be developed according to the teacher's creativity. The teacher's role is very important in conveying knowledge and it will be easy if it is adjusted to the development of the 4.0 era, namely using technological media. SD Negeri Pertiwi Lambarot Aceh Besar District is one of the schools that want to implement this technology-based learning media. Therefore, the author carried out Community Service activities by giving seminars to all teachers at the school, totaling 25 teachers as activity participants. The methods used in these activities are lectures, discussions, and questions and answers. The results obtained from this activity are to add insight into the use of technology-based learning media and teachers begin to develop creative ideas to produce technology-based learning media which can then be implemented in the learning process at the school. Abstract

Mathematics is one of the subjects taught in elementary schools in the 2013 curriculum as well as in the Freedom to Learn curriculum which is summarized in Thematic. Mathematics is an abstract object that makes mathematics difficult for some elementary school students to understand. the use of teaching aids as a medium for learning mathematics is expected to help improve students' understanding of mathematical concepts. Therefore, it is very appropriate that lecturers from several universities in Aceh feel compelled to accompany these teachers in seminars on the Utilization of Mathematical Learning Media. This activity aims to increase the capacity of teachers in using mathematics learning media, especially visual aids. The method used is the seminar lecture method. The results of this activity indicate that there is an increase in the knowledge and skills of SD Negeri Pertiwi, and Lambarot teachers in compiling the use of mathematics learning media.
