Abstract

This article reviews the quality system and standards for ensuring educational quality with the aim of providing a more comprehensive understanding of the mechanisms for evaluating and controlling quality in educational institutions. The educational quality system plays a role in regulating and assessing the implementation of education to ensure that the educational process and outcomes are in line with established standards. Quality assurance standards are used as a reference to ensure the achievement of quality and sustainable educational goals. The research method used is library research, which involves collecting and analyzing various relevant literature sources as the basis for discussion. This article is expected to serve as a scientific reference for researchers, educators, and educational institution managers in understanding the importance of quality systems and quality assurance in enhancing global competitiveness and educational quality. Abstrak Artikel ini mengulas sistem kualitas dan standar penjaminan mutu pendidikan dengan tujuan memberikan pemahaman yang lebih komprehensif mengenai mekanisme evaluasi dan pengendalian mutu di lembaga pendidikan. Sistem kualitas pendidikan berperan dalam mengatur dan menilai pelaksanaan pendidikan guna memastikan bahwa proses dan hasil pendidikan sesuai dengan standar yang telah ditetapkan. Standar penjaminan mutu digunakan sebagai acuan untuk menjamin pencapaian tujuan pendidikan yang berkualitas dan berkelanjutan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi pustaka (library research), yaitu dengan mengumpulkan dan menganalisis berbagai sumber literatur yang relevan sebagai dasar pembahasan. Artikel ini diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi ilmiah bagi para peneliti, pendidik, dan pengelola lembaga pendidikan dalam memahami pentingnya sistem kualitas dan penjaminan mutu dalam meningkatkan daya saing dan kualitas pendidikan secara global.

Abstract

This study aims to gain an in-depth understanding of the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum at SMA Dwiwarna Boarding School, specifically in the Islamic Religious Education (PAI) subject for 12th-grade students. The research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data collection techniques include observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, involving the principal, vice principal for curriculum affairs, and a PAI teacher as key informants. The findings indicate that the Merdeka Curriculum has been systematically implemented through student-centered lesson planning, differentiated instruction, and the strengthening of the Pancasila Student Profile. The results of students' PAI learning show an increase in both report card grades and achievements. Supporting factors for implementation include teacher readiness, adequate learning facilities, and school management support. Inhibiting factors include initial limited understanding of the new curriculum by teachers and time constraints in adapting teaching materials. This study contributes to the discourse on curriculum implementation and provides practical insights into its application in a boarding school setting. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami secara mendalam implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka di SMA Dwiwarna Boarding School, khususnya dalam mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) pada peserta didik kelas XII. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi, dengan subjek penelitian yaitu kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah bidang kurikulum, dan guru PAI. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka di SMA Dwiwarna telah dilaksanakan secara sistematis melalui perencanaan pembelajaran yang berpusat pada peserta didik, penerapan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi, serta penguatan profil pelajar Pancasila. Hasil belajar PAI peserta didik menunjukkan peningkatan baik dari nilai rapor maupun prestasi. Faktor pendukung implementasi meliputi kesiapan guru, fasilitas pembelajaran, serta dukungan manajemen sekolah. Adapun faktor penghambatnya meliputi keterbatasan pemahaman awal guru terhadap kurikulum baru serta keterbatasan waktu dalam menyesuaikan perangkat ajar. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi dalam memperkaya kajian implementasi kurikulum serta memberikan gambaran nyata penerapannya di lingkungan sekolah berbasis boarding.

Abstract

Discipline in congregational prayer is an important role in the character building of santri in the Boarding School environment. This study aims to analyze the effect of the Ma’had Hasmi Santri Organization (OSMA) on the discipline of congregational prayer of female santri at Hasmi Islamic Boarding School. The research method used is a quantitative approach with a survey type. Data was collected through distributing questionnaires to 78 students with a total of 24 items. Data analysis was carried out by testing normality, linearity, simple linear regression, and significance testing using spss 23 for windows. The results showed that OSMA has a significant influence on the discipline of congregational prayer with a regression coefficient value of 0.352. The significance test (t) shows the t-count value of 3.991 with a significance value of 0.000 <0.05, which means that there is a significant relationship between OSMA and the discipline of congregational prayer. In addition, the results of the coefficient of determination (R2) test show that OSMA contributes 17.3% to the discipline of congregational prayer, while 82.7% is influenced by other factors not studied. Thus, OSMA has an important role in improving the discipline of congregational prayer of female santri at Hasmi Islamic Boarding School. Abstrak Kedisiplinan dalam shalat berjamaah merupakan peranan penting dalam pembentukan karakter santri di lingkungan Boarding School. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Organisasi Santri Ma’had Hasmi (OSMA) terhadap kedisiplinan shalat berjamaah santri putri di Hasmi Islamic Boarding School. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis survei. Data dikumpulkan melalui penyebaran angket kepada 78 santri dengan jumlah pernyataan sebanyak 24 item. Analisis data dilakukan dengan uji normalitas, linearitas, regresi linear sederhana, serta uji signifikansi menggunakan spss 23 for windows. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa OSMA memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kedisiplinan shalat berjamaah dengan nilai koefisien regresi sebesar 0,352. Uji signifikansi (t) menunjukkan nilai t-hitung sebesar 3,991 dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05, yang berarti terdapat hubungan yang siginifikan antara OSMA dan kedisiplinan shalat berjamaah. Selain itu, hasil uji koefisien determinasi (R2) menunjukkan bahwa OSMA berkontribusi sebesar 17,3% terhadap kedisiplinan shalat berjamaah, sementara 82,7% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak diteliti. Dengan demikian, OSMA memiliki peran penting dalam meningkatkan kedisiplinan shalat berjamaah santri putri di Hasmi Islamic Boarding School.

Abstract

This study aims to improve student academic achievement in the subject of Islamic Cultural History at MTs Mathla'ul Anwar Kedondong through the implementation of audiovisual media. The problem faced is the low interest in learning among students, which affects their academic performance. The research was conducted using a classroom action research (CAR) approach consisting of two cycles. Each cycle includes planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The results of the study show that the application of the audiovisual media-based teaching method can improve students' academic achievement, as evidenced by the evaluation test results. In Cycle I, the students who achieved mastery had a percentage of 20%, with 6 students, and there was an improvement in Cycle II, where the students who achieved mastery increased to 73.33%, with 22 students. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Sejarah Kebudayaan Islam di MTs Mathla’ul Anwar Kedondong melalui penerapan media audio visual. Masalah yang dihadapi ialah rendahnya minat belajar siswa yang berpengaruh terhadap prestasi belajar mereka. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang terdiri dari dua siklus. Setiap siklus meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode pembelajaran berbasis media audio visual dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa, hal ini terbukti dari hasil tes evaluasi yang dilakukan pada siklus I nilai siswa yang tuntas dengan persentase 20% dengan jumlah 6 siswa, dan ada peningkatan pada siklus II siswa yang tuntas dengan persentase 73,33% dengan jumlah sebanyak 22 siswa.

Abstract

Literacy is an important foundation in education. However, there are still many students who do not have good literacy skills. This can be caused by various factors, such as lack of interest in reading which has an impact on learning outcomes. The Campus Teaching Program is a strategic effort to improve the quality of education in improving literacy. The objectives of this study were (1) to determine the literacy activities of students in the campus teaching program (2) to determine the learning outcomes of class VIII students of Al-Azhar Plus Bogor Middle School (3) to determine the effect of literacy activities in the campus teaching program on the learning outcomes of class VIII students of Al-Azhar Plus Bogor Middle School. Quantitative research with an associative approach using questionnaires and documentation. In this study, literacy activities had a significant effect on learning outcomes (regression coefficient 0.315; sig. 0.039 <0.05), although its contribution was only 1.1%. Campus Teaching Literacy is effective in improving learning outcomes, but it needs to be supported by other factors such as motivation and learning methods. Abstrak Literasi merupakan fondasi penting dalam pendidikan. Namun, masih banyak siswa yang belum memiliki kemampuan literasi yang baik. Hal ini dapat disebabkan oleh berbagai faktor, seperti kurangnya minat baca yang berdampak pada hasil belajar. Program Kampus Mengajar merupakan upaya strategis untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan dalam meningkatkan literasi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) mengetahui kegiatan literasi siswa/i program kampus mengajar (2) mengetahui hasil belajar siswa/i kelas VIII SMP Al-Azhar Plus Bogor (3) mengetahui pengaruh kegiatan literasi program kampus mengajar terhadap hasil belajar siswa/i kelas VIII SMP Al-Azhar Plus Bogor. Penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan asosiatif menggunakan angket dan dokumentasi. Dalam penelitian ini kegiatan literasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar (koefisien regresi 0,315; sig. 0,039 < 0,05), meskipun kontribusinya hanya 1,1%. Literasi Kampus Mengajar efektif meningkatkan hasil belajar, namun perlu didukung faktor lain seperti motivasi dan metode pembelajaran.

Abstract

The low learning outcomes of students in the Fiqh subject at MTs Negeri Kota Bogor, particularly in the topic of halal and haram food and beverages, highlight the need to improve the quality of learning. This study aims to enhance students’ learning outcomes and active participation through the application of the Mind Mapping method. The research employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach using the Kemmis and McTaggart model, which consists of four stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The study was conducted in two cycles involving 32 students of class VIII-B and one Fiqh subject teacher. Data were collected through observation sheets and achievement tests. The findings revealed a significant increase in student performance. In the pre-cycle stage, only 12.5% of students achieved the minimum passing grade. After implementing the Mind Mapping method, this figure rose to 68.75% in the first cycle and 96.8% in the second cycle. The average score also increased from 63 to 89. The results conclude that the Mind Mapping method is effective in improving students’ understanding and learning outcomes, as well as promoting greater engagement in Fiqh learning. Abstrak Rendahnya hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Fikih di MTs Negeri Kota Bogor, khususnya pada materi makanan dan minuman halal dan haram, menjadi perhatian penting dalam peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar dan partisipasi aktif siswa melalui penerapan metode Mind Mapping. Metode yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) model Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Subjek penelitian adalah 32 siswa kelas VIII-B dan satu orang guru mata pelajaran Fikih. Instrumen pengumpulan data meliputi observasi dan tes hasil belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada capaian belajar siswa. Pada pra-siklus, hanya 12,5% siswa yang mencapai ketuntasan. Setelah penerapan metode Mind Mapping, ketuntasan meningkat menjadi 68,75% pada siklus I dan mencapai 96,8% pada siklus II. Rata-rata nilai siswa juga meningkat dari 63 menjadi 89. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa metode Mind Mapping terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa serta mendorong keterlibatan aktif mereka dalam proses pembelajaran Fikih.

Abstract

The “Merdeka Curriculum” is Indonesia’s latest educational policy initiative designed to address 21st-century learning demands. This curriculum emphasizes learning flexibility, differentiation, and character development through the Project to Strengthen the Pancasila Student Profile. However, its implementation in schools still faces significant challenges. This study aims to identify and analyze the weaknesses and obstacles of the Merdeka Curriculum by conducting a systematic literature review (SLR) of 20 verified scientific articles published between 2021 and 2024. The PRISMA method was employed to select and thematically analyze the literature. The review revealed five major challenges: (1) teachers’ lack of readiness to understand and apply the curriculum’s principles, (2) infrastructure inequality, especially in underdeveloped regions, (3) unclear policy direction and the absence of a proper transition period, (4) unresolved administrative burdens on teachers, and (5) difficulties in integrating the Pancasila Student Profile values into daily instruction. The study concludes that the Merdeka Curriculum is not yet fully prepared for national-scale implementation without comprehensive support in terms of teacher capacity, school facilities, and regulatory reform. This review provides reflective insights for shaping future education policy that is more contextual, equitable, and sustainable. Abstrak Kurikulum Merdeka merupakan kebijakan kurikulum terbaru yang diusung pemerintah Indonesia untuk menjawab tantangan pendidikan abad ke-21. Kurikulum ini menekankan fleksibilitas pembelajaran, diferensiasi, serta penguatan karakter melalui Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila. Namun demikian, implementasinya di lapangan masih menuai berbagai persoalan. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis kelemahan serta tantangan pelaksanaan Kurikulum Merdeka berdasarkan tinjauan sistematis terhadap 20 artikel ilmiah terverifikasi yang dipublikasikan dalam rentang waktu 2021–2024. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah Systematic Literature Review (SLR) dengan metode PRISMA untuk menyaring dan menganalisis data literatur secara tematik. Hasil kajian menemukan lima tema utama tantangan, yaitu: (1) ketidaksiapan guru dalam memahami dan menerapkan prinsip kurikulum, (2) ketimpangan infrastruktur, khususnya di daerah 3T, (3) ketidakjelasan arah kebijakan dan minimnya masa transisi, (4) beban administratif guru yang belum terselesaikan, dan (5) kesulitan dalam mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai Profil Pelajar Pancasila dalam pembelajaran. Kesimpulan kajian ini menyatakan bahwa Kurikulum Merdeka belum sepenuhnya siap diimplementasikan secara nasional tanpa dukungan menyeluruh terhadap kapasitas guru, fasilitas sekolah, serta perbaikan regulasi dan evaluasi. Kajian ini memberikan dasar reflektif bagi perumusan kebijakan pendidikan yang lebih kontekstual, adil, dan berkelanjutan di masa mendatang
