Abstract

This study aims to answer whether the application of group games can improve children's social emotional development. This study uses pre-experimental research techniques with one group pre-test post-test design. The method of data collection in the study used an observation instrument. The research subjects consisted of 8 students who had not optimal social-emotional development. The results showed that the socio-emotional development of children in TKQ MALNU increased after being given treatment with group games. Based on the results of the average pre-test and post-test, there is an average difference of 0.74 which defines that group games are effective for improving the social emotional development of children in TKQ MALNU.

Abstract

Academic integrity is the most important thing in realizing educational goals Every student, educator, and school staff are required to uphold the values of academic integrity. Academic integrity is a commitment to academic values that are manifested in behaviors, namely honesty, trust, justice, respect, and responsibility in carrying out academic demands. Academic integrity is an academic culture that needs to be maintained. Low academic integrity leads to various academic violations such as plagiarism, data falsification, dishonesty and cheating during exams or tests. Each educational institution certainly has its own code of honor in solving problems of academic violations and maintaining the honor of their educational institution. The research method used is a literature study research method. This article aims to obtain an overview of the definition of academic integrity, characteristics of academic integrity, and the factors that affect academic integrity.

Abstract

The research was motivated by the of aggressive behavior of grade VIII MTS students Muttallimin Pandegalang Year 2020/2021. The purpose of the study was to find out a picture of students' aggressive behavior and the influence of group counseling with technique Self-management in reducing aggressive behavior. This type of research is a pre-experimental design with one group pre- post-test design, with a class VIII population of 54 students with a sample of 8 students selected using purposive sampling techniques. Data collection method using questionnaires of aggressive behavior of students who have tested the validity of the content and have 44 items out of 60 valid items, the study result found 8 students in the very high category with a percentage of 15%. 20 students in the high category with a percentage of 37%, and 24 students in the moderate category with a percentage of 44%, and 2 students in the low category with a percentage of 4%. Data analysis techniques using wilxocon tests. Results of analysis of pre-test data and post-test aggressive behavior. obtained z count – 2,521 <z table 36.00, then Ha accepted and Ho rejected, meaning it can reduce aggressive behavior after being given group counseling services with Self-management techniques to students of grade VIII MTS Muttallimin Pandeglang.

Abstract

The spread of COVID-19 that requires face-to-face learning is becoming online learning or distance learning.This teaching still leaves various problems in the world of education, one of which is academic procrastinationthat occurs in student groups. The purpose of this study is that the second semester students majoring inguidance and counseling, University of Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa who is in charge of the personality theorycourse experience academic procrastination, see the causes of procrastination and how students can overcomeit. The researcher used a qualitative descriptive method with non-test interview data collection techniques tothree students. The results of this study indicate that there is academic procrastination behavior carried out bythe three students with various causes, and procrastination is more often carried out on group assignments. Andstudents are still able to overcome academic procrastination in their own way.

Abstract

This article aims to determine the sibling rivalry in early childhood in the concept of a reality counseling approach and the results of previous relevant research on sibling rivalry. Sibling rivalry is a form of competition between siblings, between brothers and sisters to win the attention and affection of parents. Every child has a unique personality and has different needs. This literature review discusses sibling rivalry behavior that occurs in early childhood in the concept of theory and reality counseling. WDEP is a stage of reality counseling where the counselor helps the counselee to describe what the counselee wants, the behavior that the counselee should do, evaluate himself, and plan what the counselee wants so that it can help reduce the behavior of siblings rivalry in early childhood. This research employed descriptive qualitative method using a literature review. The results of this research of literature indicate that the application of reality counseling can reduce sibling rivalry behavior in early childhood.

Abstract

Parenting patterns in the digital era have an important role for children's development. Parents must be careful and precise in determining the pattern of parenting that will be given to their children. Differences in age and gender are a concern in the process of determining the parenting pattern that will be applied to children. Determining parenting patterns must be in accordance with the times and parents must have more control over the use of digital media than their children. The method used in this article is a literature study. This article is expected to provide new insight and understanding about parenting in the digital era and how to choose the right parenting style to be applied in accordance with technological developments that occur.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a learning how to learn booklet as an information service regarding cognitive learning strategies for high school students. The type of research used is research and development with research and development (R & D) Borg & Gall methods simplified by the Puslitjaknov Team (2008) which consists of conducting product analysis to be developed, developing initial products, expert validation and revision, trial small-scale field trials and revisions, large-scale field trials and final products. The sampling technique used was non-probability sampling by using quota sampling. The number of samples that will be involved in this study are 20 high school students (SMA) in Banten Province. This research is about product development in the form of a booklet that contains information on cognitive learning strategies that have aspects of 1) Repeating, 2) Elaborating, 3) Organization. To evaluate the product to be made, the researcher uses an evaluation model of alpha test and beta test. By asking material and media experts to assess the feasibility of the product as a way to evaluate, this is called an alpha test. The beta test is a form of product feasibility test based on the prospective user's assessment of the product being developed. After the product was tested for feasibility by material and media experts, then after being tested by students, whether the product developed was feasible or not, to get the results the researcher analyzed the data that had been obtained using the eligibility criteria according to Arikuntio (2009). In the product feasibility test, it was found that the results of the material expert test were 80%, the media expert test results were 87.05% and the user response test results were 84.26%. So from the results of the feasibility test and the respondent's trial, it was found that the product that the researcher developed in the form of a learning how to learn booklet was considered "very feasible".

Abstract

Setiap peserta didik, pendidik, dan staf sekolah dituntut untuk menjunjung tinggi nilai-nilai integritas akademik. Integritas akademik merupakan komitmen terhadap nilai-nilai akademik yang diwujudkan dalam perilaku perilaku yaitu kejujuran, kepercayaan, keadilan, menghargai dan tanggung jawab dalam menjalankan tuntutan akademik. integritas akademik adalah budaya akademik yang perlu dipelihara. Integritas akademik yang rendah menimbulkan berbagai pelanggaran akademik seperti plagiarisme, pemalsuan data, ketidakjujuran dan kecurangan selama ujian atau tes. Setiap lembaga pendidikan tentu memiliki kode kehormatan masing-masing dalam menyelesaikan masalah pelanggaran akademik dan mempertahankan kehormatan lembaga pendidikan mereka. Penulisan artikel ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh ikhtisar mengenai definisi integritas akademik, karakteristik integritas akademik, serta faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi integritas akademik yang dikaji dari berbagai literature. Abstract

One of High Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) aspect is critical thinking skills. It is a capital important that students must possess as a provision in facing technological developments and the effects of globalization in the 4.0 era. This study aims to determine the profile of critical thinking skills of adolescents in SMAN 1 Batujajar, especially in class XI IPS in the academic year 2019-2020, which is expected to help students achieve optimal development in the 4.0 era. The research uses a quantitative approach with descriptive methods. The study was conducted at SMAN 1 Batujajar, West Bandung Regency. The selected population was students of class XI of SMAN 1 Batujajar in the academic year 2019-2020. The sampling technique in this study is non probability with homogenous sampling technique, in 162 students of class XI IPS SMAN 1 Batujajar. Data collection uses the form of a test instrument for critical thinking skills. The results showed the profile of critical thinking skills that students are common in middle category, students reasonably skilled in analyzing, evaluating, performing inference and reasoning when engaged in problem solving and decision making. The results of this study can be used as preliminary data for intervention by guidance and counseling teachers or other researchers in developing critical thinking skills, so it is expected to complement and strengthen previous research.

Abstract

AThe purpose of this study is to get an overview of emotion regulation, then design a guidance and counseling program to improve emotion regulation in class VIII students of SMP Negeri 10 Serang City for the 2020/2021 academic year. The approach used is a quantitative approach with a descriptive method. The population is class VIII students as many as 343 people, sampling using a simple random sample technique so that the research subject is obtained as many as 185 respondents. The research technique uses a questionnaire or questionnaire consisting of 38 statement items with a reliability value of 0.80 (very high). The instrument scale used is derived from four aspects of emotion regulation, namely the ability to regulate emotion strategies, the ability not to be affected by negative emotions, the ability to control emotions, and the ability to receive emotional responses. The results obtained are that most of the students are in the medium category, namely 144 students with a percentage of 77.83%. The data obtained were then analyzed using descriptive quantitative analysis techniques. After knowing the level of emotion regulation, the design of the guidance and counseling program is made according to the needs based on the results of the research.
