Abstract

Introduction: During the Covid-19 pandemic, many tourist villages are reluctant to develop their respective destinations. The manager of the Branjang Tourism Village, Semarang Regency, realized the importance of events in destination development by exploring the impact of event attendance on destination promotion. This study first aims to analyze the effect of the authenticity of the event on the attendance of the event. The second explores the impact of event attendance on destination promotion. The third examines the direct impact of actual authenticity on destination promotion. Fourth, prove the mediation of event attendance in the effect of event authenticity on destination promotion. Methods: To test this model, 100 respondents of tourists who visited the event were taken at the Branjangan Cultural Event in the Branjang Tourism Village. Then the data is processed using SEM PLS. Result: The authenticity of the event influences the attendance of the event with t statistic 7,488> 1,96. Authenticity Events influence destination promotion with a t-statistic value of 4.011 > 1.96. The presence of the event influences destination promotion with a statistical t value of 3.507> 1.96 and the authenticity of the event on destination promotion influences the presence of the event with a simultaneous value of 0.2880> 1.96. Conclusion: The results of the first study show that the authenticity of the event affects the attendance of the event; second, the presence of the event affects the promotion of the goal. Thirdly, event authenticity involves the promotion of goals, and event attendance mediates the effect of event authenticity on goal promotion.

Abstract

Introduction: This study aims to analyze the effect of a work conflict and work ethics on the performance of Civil Servants at the Mentawai Islands Regency Inspectorate. This is motivated by work conflicts within the institution, low work ethics in carrying out work, and employee performance that is still unstable and can be maximized at the Mentawai Islands Regency Inspectorate. Method: This type of research uses a quantitative approach with a multiple linear regression method. Data collection techniques with questionnaires. The respondents of this study were 38 civil servants in the Inspectorate of Mentawai Islands Regency. The sampling method used the total sampling method, where the entire population in this study was used as the research sample. Hypothesis testing was calculated using the IBM Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) version 24.0. Results: analysis of the effect of work conflict (X1) and work ethic (X2) together on performance (Y) obtained an F-count value of 30.213 with a significant probability. from 0.000 < 0.05. With df1 = (k-1) = (3-1) = 2, df2 = 38 - 3 = 35, F-table 3.27, then F-count > F-table or 30.213 > 3.27. Consequently, Ho is rejected, and Ha or Hypothesis Three is accepted. The analysis results show that together there is a significant influence between the variables of a work conflict and work ethic on the performance of Civil Servants at the Inspectorate of Mentawai Islands Regency. Conclusion: This study found that work conflict partially and negatively affects performance, and work ethic has a positive and significant effect on performance. In addition, work conflict and work ethic significantly affect the performance of Civil Servants at the Mentawai Islands Regency Inspectorate.

Abstract

Introduction: The government and Islamic boarding schools strategically improve the quality of the implementation of Formal Diniyah Education, known as Formal Diniyah Education (PDF), professionally and effectively. In this regard, Islamic boarding schools and the government must prepare policies on PDF development. However, PDF in Islamic boarding schools is not optimal, so it is strategic to be evaluated as material for improving the quality of PDF in Islamic boarding schools in the future. Method: This evaluation research uses a qualitative approach by taking cases from several PDFs in the pilot project of Indonesian Islamic boarding schools. Result: Among the research findings, it is stated that: The level of PDF quality is primarily determined by the optimal level and whether PDF implementation in Islamic boarding schools is exemplary. Among the findings: the recognition of PDF in Islamic boarding schools must be accompanied by professional monitoring of the quality context of the application of PDF in Islamic boarding schools, the PDF curriculum still overlaps with Ma'had Ali's curriculum, lack of learning management and lack of optimal professional guidance for PDF, PDF achievements of non-Muslims. Academic (psychomotor) in pesantren is not too much attention. Conclusion: The government and Islamic boarding schools need to pay attention to the effectiveness of the application of PDF in Islamic boarding schools so that the quality of PDF in Islamic boarding schools is always maintained, through several strategic efforts, namely: in collaboration with the Ministry of Religion, Balitbang need to recommend to Pusdiklat and Pusdiklat, and pesantren need to pay attention to the optimal performance of students PDF at the boarding school.

Abstract

Introduction: Production is a significant concept in the modern era. It can be classified as economic Production, Production in food grains and Production is also related to labor, labor organizational raw materials; Production in the economic sector signifies the country's wealth. Production mainly depends on the organization of labor as well. If the organization can influence the workforce, it will also positively affect the work culture. The production also depends on labor because they are two sides of the same coin. Without labor, there is no production appraisal either. Methods: This study uses a literature review research design. Search articles discussed in the study using several databases. Result: Without labor, there can be no production, and the two are interrelated. Production is like the oxygen of a nation's economic system and is the basis of an organized society. For qualitative Production, a well-equipped workforce is needed to increase production growth. Conclusion: Productivity and labor are fundamentally influential parts of economic development.

Abstract

Introduction: This study aims to examine the effect of Profitability, Company Complexity, Audit Committee, Public Accounting Firm Size, Company Risk, and Company Size on External Audit Costs. Method: The samples used in this study were 23 mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2016 to 2020. The sampling technique used was a purposive sampling method. Secondary data in this study is based on Annual Reports published on the official website of the IDX and the official website of the sample companies. Result: The results of this study indicate that the significance value is 0.000, which means it is smaller than 0.05 (0.000 <0.05), and the calculated F is greater than the F table (16.981> 2.1837), so that it is obtained that simultaneously or together -the same independent variables (profitability, complexity) of the company, audit committee, KAP size, company risk, and company size) have a significant effect on the dependent variable (external audit fees). Conclusion: (1) Profitability has no effect on External Audit Costs, (2) Company complexity has a significant positive effect on External Audit Costs, (3) Audit Committee has no effect on External Audit Costs, (4) Size of the Public Accounting Firm has a significant positive effect. Against External Audit Costs, (5) Company Risk does not affect External Audit Costs, and (6) Company Size has a significant positive effect on External Audit Costs.

Abstract

Introduction: This study examines the influence of the electronic passport service administration system (e-passport) on public trust and satisfaction.  Based on previous studies, the latest of this study is in the addition of trust and public satisfaction variables in the electronic passport (e-passport) service administration system.  Method: This study falls under the category of descriptive quantitative research.  This research was conducted on consumers making electronic passports (E-passports) in the West Nusa Tenggara area.  The sampling technique in this study was simple random sampling with a research sample of 100 respondents.  The data analysis technique in this study was Partial Least Square (PLS).  Result: It explores how the perception of the ease of e-passport service affects public trust, the ease of service e-passport affects public satisfaction, the practicality of e-passport service affects public trust, the expediency of e-passport services affects public satisfaction, public trust affects public satisfaction, public trust can mediate the perception of ease of e-passport service towards public satisfaction, community trust can mediate the perception of the practicality of e-passport services to public satisfaction. Conclusion: the perception of specific and valuable e-passport services can increase public satisfaction and trust.

Abstract

Introduction: On the side of corruption crime, law enforcers are given special rights to obtain and access electronic information to strengthen evidence of corruption cases. The range of wiretapping on privacy related to human rights and its importance as electronic evidence in criminal acts of corruption, the purpose of this study is to examine wiretapping as evidence in criminal acts of corruption in Indonesia without violating constitutional rights. Methods: This research method uses normative jurisprudence with secondary data sources obtained through library research, including primary legal materials, secondary legal materials, and tertiary legal materials, both in the form of documents and regulations relating to wiretapping on corruption. At the same time, the data analysis technique used descriptive qualitative. Result: The principle of wiretapping is the legal basis of Law Number 19 of 2019; the law further explains legal certainty regarding granting permits to the Supervisory Board so that the KPK leadership can take immediate action. However, giving special keys to the apparatus must be balanced with caution to avoid misusing. Because the privileges granted intersect with the personal rights of every community, it is prone to human rights violations if it exceeds the limit / outside the problem of corruption. Conclusion: Law enforcement action against corruption gives special powers to law enforcers to obtain and use electronic information. The range of wiretapping on privacy related to human rights and the importance of such information as evidence of corruption must consider the applicable laws without violating constitutional rights.

Abstract

Introduction: Bank digital transformation is a continuous innovation from conventional commercial banks to digital banks. The driving force in traditional retail banks to carry out sustainable innovation can be seen from the internal and external sides in the form of mutually supportive operations and strategies. In the face of competitive pressures, businesses in the financial services industry increasingly depend on innovation and sustainability to succeed and survive. The stress of business competition has made many banks worldwide close their branch offices in recent years. Method: This study is a literature study that collects theoretical references relevant to sustainable innovation in financial institutions, focusing on two main topics: sustainable digital technology innovation in Fintech and banks' digital transformation. Result: Fintech uses digital technology as a sustainable solution in offering financial inclusion services that are difficult for old players in the financial industry to fulfill. Fintech appears in peer-to-peer lending, virtual marketplaces and digital currencies. For the Bank's digital transformation, several regulations from the Financial Services Authority related to sustainable innovation must be complied with. Financial Services Authority Regulation Number 51/POJK.03/2017 concerning implementing Sustainable Finance for Financial Services Institutions, Issuers and Public Companies. Financial Services Authority Regulation Number 13/POJK.02/2018 concerning Digital Financial Innovation in the Financial Services Sector. Conclusion: The driving force in the Company to carry out sustainable innovation can be seen from the internal and external sides in the form of mutually supportive operations and strategies. The proposed digital transformation strategy for the Bank's continuous innovation is as follows: compliance with regulators, customer-centric, openness principles, and making digital a core value in business.

Abstract

Introduction: This “research is motivated by the problems of principals and teachers in applying educational psychology at Elementary School 3 Klaten to improve the quality of learning. In this case, many classroom teachers experience obstacles and difficulties implementing psychological education. Researchers observed and analyzed the implementation of educational psychology by Elementary School 3 Klaten teachers in improving the quality of learning. The objectives of this study include: knowing how teachers implement educational psychology, the obstacles experienced by teachers in implementing educational psychology, and reviewing teacher efforts in overcoming these obstacles to improve the quality of learning. Method: This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The research was conducted at Elementary School 3 Klaten for the academic year 2022/2023. This study analyses teachers implementing educational psychology and supervision carried out by school principals to improve the quality of learning. Result: Based on the analysis of observational data, documentation, and interviews, it shows that teachers at Elementary School 3 Klaten have implemented educational psychology in learning to improve the quality of learning with support and supervision carried out by the school principal. Conclusion: The implementation of educational psychology at Elementary School 3 Klaten is applied by teachers in various ways to improve the quality of learning, including using multiple methods in education, tools, and media, prioritizing interaction with students, providing guidance, motivation, attention, direction, and fair assessment.

Abstract

Introduction: Population growth in Indonesia is getting higher. This change is influenced by population density. Economic growth in the behind-the-board area is still volatile; this can be addressed by planning for human resource development and managing business fields in several regional sectors. The purpose of this study is to analyze the economy of Balikpapan in 2022. Method: This study uses a qualitative literature study method. Through data collection from journals and other literature supporting media. Result: The study results indicate that the economy behind the board area needs to develop a strategy to adjust the existing potential by increasing the balance of human resources as management staff. It is based on the performance achievements of local companies by collaborating in the international market sector. The achievement of business economic development through increasing MSMEs in several areas behind the board is an effort to improve the creative economy. Conclusion: The market shift has created a new attribute among the business, tourism and micro and macroeconomic sectors. The development aspect supports regional progress in economic growth with the high capacity of the population in Indonesia, especially behind the board. The creative economy has become a significant change from the existence of the Indonesian youth creative economy movement.
