Abstract

The elderly population is an inevitable stage of life that everyone will experience. In Indonesia, the health issues faced by the elderly require the attention and readiness of society, experts, and the government. This research aims to analyze the level of social engagement in the success of the elderly Posyandu program in Indonesia. Qualitative and library research methods are employed. The narrative method is used to analyze the literature, with secondary data collected from databases such as Scientific Direct and Scholar. Results: Initially, 2700 research studies and articles were identified from the databases. After screening for publication year, duplicate titles, and abstracts, 10 research studies were selected. The criteria for the articles or journals focused on social engagement, elderly, and healthcare services. The findings of the research highlight three main points: (1) supporting factors in implementing the elderly Posyandu program, such as community outreach and ensuring adequate facilities, (2) involvement of various services including preventive, curative, rehabilitative, and promotive programs, and (3) the importance of social engagement, which involves active participation of the elderly and receiving emotional and social support from family and the community. Social engagement programs for elderly Posyandu in major cities have shown positive outcomes. Active involvement of the elderly, support from family and the community, improved accessibility, information and education, and emotional support are key factors contributing to the program's success. Based on these successful outcomes, this study recommends the participation of Posyandu in social engagement program activities in other major cities.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between government policy in the form of the Self-Help Housing Stimulant Assistance Program (BSPS/Self-Help Homes Program) and the reduction of stunting in Indonesia. By utilizing data on the prevalence of stunting in districts/cities in Indonesia in 2016-2021 and data on districts/cities receiving self-help housing assistance in 2016-2021, this study uses the panel data regression method to show the correlation between the BSPS program and the reduction in stunting at the district/city level in Indonesia. Based on the regression results, it can be concluded that the 2016-2021 BSPS Program as an independent variable shows a negative and significant relationship with a decrease in stunting in 514 districts/cities in Indonesia. The percentage of women giving birth in health facilities, proper sanitation, poor population, the ability to read and write in women aged > 15 years, and district/city GDP per capita significantly reduces stunting in Indonesia. On the other hand, toddlers who receive complete basic immunization and state spending on health do not affect stunting reduction. This study recommends expanding the BSPS Program to more districts/cities in Indonesia, increasing the level of knowledge and awareness of mothers about stunting, improving proper sanitation, evaluating health spending strategies at the district/city level, and considering regional socioeconomic factors in policy planning. Moreover, the allocation of resources contributes to reducing stunting.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the distribution and extent of leaky swamps based on hydrotopographic characteristics. The method used is an empirical approach using the Thornthwaite Mather water balance. The research data comes from both primary and secondary sources. Primary data collection involves field observations, measurements, and mapping, which provide data on soil texture, vegetation, fauna, topography, and aerial photos. Secondary data is obtained from institutions/agencies. Soil texture data is obtained through purposive random sampling. The extent of the leaky swamp is +104,252 m2, and it can hold a maximum volume of +116,028.25 m3 of water. The research results indicate the presence of two types of leaky swamps based on their hydrotopographic characteristics: shallow swamps and deep swamps. Shallow swamps are located on the riverbanks with higher elevations, covering an area of 30,462.54 m2. Meanwhile, deep swamps are situated in the center of the swamp with lower elevations in the form of basins, covering an area of 37,733.08 m2. This research has implications for a better understanding of Lebak swamps in the Grogol District. The findings can be used to develop more effective water resource management strategies. Furthermore, this research can serve as a foundation for further in-depth studies, such as ecological studies of swamps, research on water quality, or analyses of the impact of climate change on hydrotopography and the distribution of Lebak swamps.

Abstract

This research examines a Creating Shared Value (CSV) practice trough CSR implementation in upstream oil and gas company and how it corresponds to sustainability. In a year of 2020, saw a notable natural declined in energy resources as a result of Tarakan Field production performance. This faced numerous economic and social challenge, including a responsibility to support holding company commitment to manage energy resilience as well as contribute to SDGs. This research, which incorporates information from literature analysis, in-depth interviews and company reports, shows that Tarakan Field’s CSR implementations were a useful strategy for generating shared value for business, stakeholders, and communities in line with sustainability. It makes an argument for the relationship between CSR implementation and sustainability, as well as the implementation plan and CSV measurement through CSR implementation in Tarakan Field. These concerns are particularly evident in the vague of CSV measurement which made it inefficient for the company to meet its commitment by unintegrated CSR and operation activities in spite of company strategy.

The t value obtained was 8,195 for the Bible understanding of church behaviour variable with a significance of 0.000 or <0.5%, meaning there is a significant partial influence. Abstract

This study aimed to find out and analyze the meaning of the word commission in a Hizbul Wathan Banten Scout community. This research was conducted using a qualitative descriptive approach, with the target of the Hizbul Wathan scouting movement community in Tangerang, Banten. The data shows that using the word commission is well accepted in a business context, with the number of respondents who disagree as many as three people. While in political and bureaucratic activities, 35 people agreed, and eight said they did not agree. There appears to be vigorous resistance to activities related to social organizations; as many as 13 respondents agreed, and 30 people stated they did not agree. For educational activities, there is a balanced attitude between agreeing and disagreeing. This is evident from the slight difference where as many as 20 respondents agreed. In comparison, 23 respondents stated that they disagreed. The attitude of high rejection was seen in religious activities, with the number of respondents who refused as many as 39 people. Respondents' positive attitude towards using the word commission is generally based on the pragmatic fact that the word commission is also used in various countries. Meanwhile, the negative attitude of the respondents emerged due to the spirit of anti-corruption and cynicism towards the behavior of corruptors who appear in public as if they were innocent.
