Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the impact of brand experience towards brand trust, particularly in new entry products with the new entry product in the sports industry as a proxy, particularly in golf balls. The objective of this study is to research how a new entry product (in the sports market) could gain its brand trust based on its brand experience. This research collected and analyzed using numerical data through questionnaires and a total of 87 responses were considered valid for data analysis using SPSS. The hypothesis testing is done using linear regression, using brand experience as independent variable and brand trust as dependent one. The result shows that there is a linear correlation and positive influence from brand experience towards brand trust in the new entry golf product. Thus, it could be concluded that brand experience, especially in new entry products, is essential, since it could lead to customer trust towards the brand. Impllication of this research is findings emphasize the significance of brand experience as a driver of brand trust for new entry products. This suggests that companies entering competitive markets should prioritize creating positive brand experiences to establish trust among consumers. Managers can now tailor their strategies to enhance brand experiences, ultimately boosting brand trust and customer loyalty.

Abstract

This study was conducted to analyze the potential for human error that can cause workplace accidents in the cement industry of PT.X. The study was conducted by conducting observations, interviews, and distributing questionnaires in the mining area and production area. Questionnaires were distributed to 96 people who were mining heavy equipment operators and production operators. The research method used through Human Reliability Analysis with the Hierarchial Task Analysis (HTA) method, knowing the types of errors that occur using the SHERPA method, then calculating the probability of human errors that occur with the HEART method. Based on the results of research using the SHERPA method, the most common types of errors in mining areas and production areas are action errors (60,25%). The type of error that occurs is due to negligence in using personal protective equipment and the work process is not completed properly. Based on research using the HEART method, the greatest opportunity for human error in the mining department is cleaning with dozer with a value of 1,056 and in the production department is in the area of cleaning work with a value of 1,89. Based on the error producing conditions questionnaire (EPCs) for workers in the mining department the most common cause of error is poor equipment / instruments while for workers in the production department is a mismatch between the imagined risk and the actual risk. The recommendations given to companies are to improve work equipment, improve visual displays and provide an appropriate assessment checklist.

Abstract

Coffee is one of the major commodities in Indonesia's agricultural sector, where Indonesia is the fourth largest coffee producer in the world. Arabica coffee is the only type of coffee produced on Mount Sindoro. The used water is wasted in the sewers when washing and sorting coffee. Even though the skin covering the cherry flesh is likely to contain natural microorganism life since the coffee cherries grow during ripening on the tree. Therefore, this study aims to determine whether there is the presence or absence of Lactic Acid Bacteria (LAB) groups in the water used to soak the Arabica coffee cherries. The research method was carried out with 200 ml of water samples soaked in Arabica coffee cherries for 4 hours, isolating microorganisms from the 10-1 to 10-3 dilution series of soaking water using the spread plate method and reinoculation to obtain pure LAB cultures, then detected macroscopically through observation of colony morphology and microscopically detected, including physiological and biochemical reaction tests. Data analysis was conducted in a fully descriptive-qualitative manner concerning Bergey's Manual of Determinative Bacteriology and other books supporting the detection of the BAL groups obtained. The study results obtained three isolates, but only one isolate was detected as LAB. The isolate belongs to the Streptococcaceae family's LAB group- the Lactococcus genus.

Abstract

Indonesia has different cultures, customs, and religions, as well as different beliefs; of course, each society has different rules, including marriage. Every marriage cannot be separated from the important influence of religion, belief, and culture of the community and religious leaders in the area where the community is located. The aim of this research is to explore knowledge about the perspective of Islamic religious law in interfaith marriages. This research also aims to determine the possible social impacts that can occur for those who enter into interfaith marriages in Indonesia. The research method used in this research is a normative legal research method, namely using legal material sources in the form of statutory regulations, court decisions/decisions, contracts/agreements/agreements, legal theory, and expert opinions. The results of the research obtained are that there are no loopholes, and potential interfaith marriages can be legalized according to religious law and law in Indonesia, apart from that, interfaith marriages can trigger potential conflicts between communities, family relationships, husband and wife relationships as well as the resulting negative impact on the resulting children, from interfaith marriages. This research has implications for comparisons of how other Muslim-majority countries handle interfaith marriages within the framework of Islamic law. This can provide valuable insight into alternative approaches and potential best practices for Indonesia.

Abstract

Mediamorphosis took place long before this term was conceptualized, and it continues to evolve with the development of communication and information technology. Based on a systematic literature review of selected articles, it is known that media metamorphosis has led to adaptation, updates, and innovations in research methodology, digital media development, communication message packaging, and the mechanisms related to media. Based on previous research, the concept of mediamorphosis provides a broad space for in-depth interdisciplinary studies on technology-mediated communication and its impact on human transformation. The review also suggests that mediamorphosis presents both challenges and opportunities for media practitioners, requiring a focus on ethics, the humanization of media, and critical thinking skills. Further research is needed to explore the impact of mediamorphosis on society and to develop strategies for navigating the evolving media landscape.

Abstract

Mentha is one of the genera of the Lamiaceae family which can produce essential oils. Mentha species have antioxidant and antimicrobial activity, and the most active compound that plays a role is menthol. This study aimed to analyze the characteristics of variations in the anatomical structure and oil glands of the leaves of two Mentha species as essential oil producers. This type of research was descriptive qualitative in the form of leaf anatomy observations using the fresh and whole mount preparations for longitudinal incisions and the paraffin method for transverse incisions. The research results show that the anatomical structure of the leaves in M. piperita and M. spicata includes the shape, arrangement of epidermal cells and their derivatives, the structure of the tissues that make up the leaves, and variations in glandular and non-glandular trichomes including variations in type, structure, size, and location. The structure of essential oil glands in the leaves of M. piperita and M. spicata species has variations, including number, shape, size, distribution, location, and density. The results of the analysis of the anatomical characteristics of the Mentha species showed that M. piperita had more oil glands than M. spicata. This research has implications for better natural resource management, disaster prevention, and the development of agriculture and fisheries, and this research is the basis for better decision-making by local governments, stakeholders, and related institutions in planning regional development, environmental management, and resource allocation.

Abstract

This research aims to empirically test the direct and indirect influence of macroeconomics represented by inflation indicators, gross domestic product, and Bank Indonesia (BI) interest rates as independent variables on stock prices as the dependent variable and financial performance (ROA) as the intervening variable. The population of this research is pharmaceutical companies included in the IDX-IC F211 classification; the sample of this research is companies listed from 2020 to 2021. This research uses path analysis and panel regression on reviews as a test tool to detect the direct and indirect influence of relationships between the independent and dependent variables. This research shows that inflation and ROA directly affect stock prices. In contrast, BI interest rates and GDP do not directly affect stock prices. Inflation and GDP affect ROA, while BI interest rates do not affect ROA. ROA can mediate the effect of inflation and BI interest rates on stock prices but cannot mediate the effect of GDP on stock prices. This research implies that companies can use the findings of this research to identify how specific macroeconomic factors can affect financial performance. This can assist in planning risk management strategies to mitigate the negative impact of macroeconomic fluctuations.
