Abstract

Promosi Kesehatan, termasuk promosi gizi di dalamnya, merupakan salah satu upaya untuk mengoptimalisasi kesehatan lanjut usia (lansia). Tim pengabdi STIKes Mitra Keluarga melakukan kegiatan promosi gizi dan kesehatan di Panti Sentra Terpadu Pangudi Luhur Bekasi. Sebanyak 6 orang pengurus mengikuti penyuluhan gizi, 8 orang pengurus mengikuti penyuluhan aktivitas fisik lansia, dan 7 orang lansia mengikuti sharing session dan penilaian status gizi. Terdapat peningkatan skor secara signifikan pada pengetahuan gizi (p= 0.0195, uji Wilcoxon Signed Rank) sehingga dapat dikatakan kegiatan pengetahuan berhasil meningkatkan pengetahuan terkait gizi. Namun, tidak terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan aktivitas fisik secara signifikan (p= 0.3275, uji Wilcoxon Signed Rank). Status gizi lansia sebagai berikut: 72% normal, 14% berat badan kurang, dan 14% berat badan lebih.. Melalui kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat membantu upaya menjaga status gizi pada lansia. Namun, upaya tersebut akan terasa lebih maksimal jika kegiatan pendampingan serupa dapat dilakukan secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

In the era of globalization and digitalization, mastery of Computational Thinking (CT) has become crucial in computer science education, especially at the junior high school level. This mentoring program is designed to bridge the gap between the evolving curriculum demands and teachers' readiness to implement them, with a specific focus on CT content in the Informatics subject for junior high schools. The activities involve teaching technical aspects of informatics and providing a deep understanding of computational thinking as an essential tool for developing students' analytical, creative, and problem-solving abilities. By enhancing the capabilities of junior high school informatics teachers, this program aims to improve the quality of education and equip teachers with relevant skills to teach CT material to students, thereby contributing to community empowerment through the overall enhancement of digital literacy.

Abstract

PT Neuronworks Indonesia, as a provider of information technology services, faces challenges in accelerating application development to meet increasingly complex client needs. To address this, a training session on the Low Code platform, OutSystems, was held on June 24-25, 2024. The goal of this activity was to enhance the efficiency of application development and equip developers and testers with practical knowledge of OutSystems. The implementation method included both theoretical sessions and hands-on practice, enabling participants to understand the features and functionalities of the platform. The training results showed that the participants have a good understanding of using OutSystems, although some difficulties in adapting to the new method were noted. This training demonstrates the importance of Low Code technology in accelerating the application development process, which can positively impact the competitiveness and innovation of PT Neuronworks Indonesia in the future

Abstract

The ability to use Microsoft PowerPoint is a significant added value for college graduates facing the workforce. IKIP Saraswati, Tabanan, recognizes the importance of this skill and collaborated with Universitas Primakara to conduct training on using Microsoft PowerPoint. This community service activity went through several planning stages to ensure smooth execution. The first stage involved a needs analysis of the partner, followed by pre-implementation coordination. Before the training, a pre-test was conducted to measure the participants' initial abilities. The training, conducted online, covered basic computer system concepts, internet usage, an introduction to Microsoft PowerPoint features, and tips for preparing engaging presentations. The final stage involved a post-test and evaluation to measure the participants' improvement, which proved significant with an average post-test score of 79.24 compared to the pre-test score of 58.15. This training effectively enhanced the participants' knowledge and skills.

Abstract

Quality inconsistency of products produced and long duration of production time are problems that are often encountered in the home industry (MSMEs). This can be due to the lack of standards in the form of SOPs owned and implemented by MSMEs. Long production times are possible because the process used is still conventional. The purpose of this activity is to increase the understanding of MSME members regarding the importance of SOPs and how to make them as well as assistance in the use of appropriate technology-based cracker dryers. Winanaz MSMEs is one of seaweed crackers producers in Pangandaran Regency. The activities carried out in this service include socialization about SOPs, assistance in making Production SOPs, and the use of appropriate technology-based dryers. Indicators of success in this activity are an increase in participants' understanding of SOPs and how to make them, participants' ability to assemble and use appropriate technology-based dryers.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas peningkatan kompetensi dan produktivitas karyawan pada usaha mikro melalui pelatihan teknis dan pengembangan soft skills, yang dilaksanakan di Jemaat GKI Ebenheizer Timika, Kabupaten Mimika, Provinsi Papua Tengah. Metode yang digunakan adalah Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) dengan pendekatan partisipatif dan kolaboratif. Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan teknis dan kemampuan interpersonal karyawan, yang diharapkan dapat meningkatkan efisiensi kerja dan produktivitas usaha. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman dan keterampilan teknis, serta peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi dan kerjasama tim. Kegiatan ini juga berdampak positif pada motivasi dan kepuasan kerja karyawan, sehingga berkontribusi pada perkembangan usaha mikro di daerah tersebut. Kesuksesan program ini mencerminkan pentingnya pelatihan berkelanjutan dan pengembangan keterampilan karyawan dalam mendukung pertumbuhan usaha mikro, khususnya di wilayah-wilayah terpencil seperti Papua Tengah.

Abstract

This community engagement explores the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and data visualization in the context of education through an interactive workshop. The workshop aims to enhance the capacity of high school teachers in Jakarta to utilize technology for data analysis using applications like Tableau. Participants engage in hands-on practice with four case studies: analysis of student performance by gender, the influence of parental education on student outcomes, evaluation of the effectiveness of exam preparation courses, and analysis of the impact of lunch programs on student achievement. Results indicate a significant improvement in participants' understanding and skills in using data to support evidence-based decision-making in educational settings.

Abstract

The purpose of the library revitalization activity is to improve students' literacy and restore the function of the library. This service was carried out at MI Pembangunan Sidomukti Lamongan in Lamongan District, Lamongan Regency, and involved all students, facilitators, principals, and teachers of MI Pembangunan Sidomukti Lamongan. This service uses the Participatory Action Research (PAR) Method. The result of this service is an increase in students' interest in reading. This is shown by the increase in literacy from written works and the return of the library to its function.

Abstract

Community Service Program (PKM) Mapping Infrastructure Location Points using satellite-based GPS in Penda Pilang Village in order to prepare location information and types of infrastructure facilities available, and can be used as a base map in future infrastructure development. The product resulting from this activity is a Map of Infrastructure Location Points in Penda Pilang Village, Kurun District, Gunung Mas Regency, Central Kalimantan Province. On the map, there are 9 (nine) physical infrastructures consisting of Village Gate, Church, Village Office and BPD, PAUD, Kindergarten, Elementary School, Middle School, Posyandu, and Community Health Center.

Abstract

Kopang Rembiga Village has a high vulnerability to natural disasters, such as floods, earthquakes and tornadoes. Finally, on March 13, 2024, a tornado hit Kopang Village and caused around 27 houses to be severely damaged (Antara, 2024). The Tornado Disaster in Central Lombok, especially in Rembiga Village, did not occur only this time, but in 2019 it also destroyed dozens of houses in Kopang Rembiga village, the incident occurred on Thursday, December 19, 2019. This service activity was carried out with the aim of conducting training on Making ArcGIS-Based Disaster Risk Maps in Kopang Rembiga Village, Central Lombok. The results of the ArcGIS-Based Disaster Risk Map Making training, in making disaster risk maps, it can be concluded that this activity has an impact, namely the existence of a disaster risk map in Kopang Rembige Village, Central Lombok, which is very informative so that it makes it easier for the community to use disaster risk maps independently to.
