Abstract

Data processing is one of the steps that must be done well before you can draw good and correct conclusions. Often the data obtained cannot be utilized as well as possible due to a lack of knowledge regarding its use and how to process it. This activity includes an introduction to software, division of data types, use of each data and how to process geotechnical data so that further analysis can be carried out. Assessment of each instrument regarding slope stability and underground opening hole stability needs to be given as early as possible to prepare students to improve their abilities and have adequate knowledge. This increase in skills and knowledge will increase the value of graduating students at SMK Negeri 4 Palangka Raya in particular.

Abstract

Business opportunities in agriculture are very promising because they concern the needs of daily life, the benefits are also very attractive if managed properly. Population growth makes businesses in the agricultural sector a growing business. The business of cultivating land and planting various types of crops needed such as vegetables, fruits, rice, corn and spices is the main business in agriculture. Another business in agriculture is sugar areng which is the spearhead of the most profitable livelihood in Dusung Kota Intang, Lembang Baji Village. The Harapan Jaya Farmers Group is a farmer group that has existed for a long time so that it has changed its membership. The Harapan Jaya farmer group has 29 members, all of whom have a farmer background. At this PM event, women and men were brought in from their words from the Harapan Jaya farmer group, Dusung Kota Intang who has entrepreneurship training and may be part of the Small Scale, Little and Medium Ventures (MSMEs) segment which is influenced by the impact of advanced promotions so that there is a problem that the character of MSMEs on the screen tends to be moo in utilizing innovation, marketing problems with reduced transaction turnover, and problems in product distribution.

Abstract

Organic vegetable is increasingly. It is necessary to develop organic fertilizer which can be derived from chicken manure. chicken manure is not widely used. So it is necessary to build a compost house for production of organic fertilizer. It is necessary to carry out training in making solid organic fertilizer. The beneficiaries of this community service are members of the Kenanga and Sumber Rejeki (17 participants). The method is carried out by providing a compost house, training and practice in making solid organic fertilizer. The result were the construction of a compost house and an increase in knowledge about making organic fertilizer by 24%. All of participants understood how to make organic fertilizer with a level of understanding quite understand (71%) and very understand (29 %). The solid organic fertilizer was characterized by increasing temperature and pH during the incubation, the color was black with a crumbly texture and no odor.

Abstract

Based on information from the Banyuwangi Health Service, the incidence of stunting in 2023 was recorded at approximately 2,300 children, this number is known to have decreased significantly from the number of 2,780 stunted children recorded in 2022. This community service aims to address issues related to stunting which are of particular concern, especially in the health sector in Banyuwangi. Stunting prevention can be done by providing education to mothers regarding the provision of healthy and nutritious food. One of the healthy foods in question is fish-based food. Through this activity, PKK mothers from Tambong Village were trained in processing fish products into nutritious food for children, preventing stunting. They were also given a booklet of fish-based recipes to apply at home. The training and mentoring process involved preparation, socialization of fish utilization in preventing stunting, training in processing fish-based food, and evaluation. The results showed that participants gained knowledge and skills related to fish-based food processing, and were enthusiastic about making these processed foods for children's meals.

Abstract

Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk menguraikan efektivitas program pengolahan sampah organik menjadi kompos di Desa Karimunjawa. Melalui sosialisasi, pelatihan, dan demonstrasi, program ini berupaya meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat akan pentingnya pengelolaan sampah yang baik serta memberdayakan masyarakat untuk memproduksi pupuk kompos sendiri. kegiatan pengabdian ini mengunakan metode participatory action research.yang digunakan meliputi observasi, wawancara, dan penyebaran kuesioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan dan kesadaran masyarakat tentang manfaat kompos serta peningkatan partisipasi dalam kegiatan pengomposan. Namun, masih terdapat beberapa tantangan yang perlu diatasi, seperti keterbatasan infrastruktur dan kebutuhan akan dukungan berkelanjutan. Pengabdian ini menyimpulkan bahwa program pengomposan di Desa Karimunjawa memiliki potensi besar dalam mengurangi volume sampah, meningkatkan kualitas tanah, dan memberikan manfaat ekonomi bagi Masyarakat.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The creation of probiotic food/drinks emerged from awareness of the importance of public health and the role of probiotics in improving the balance of the gut microbiota. In this context, probiotics provide significant benefits for the digestive and immune systems. However, there are still many people who do not know the benefits of probiotics and how to include them in their daily diet. Therefore, through this outreach activity, it is hoped that it can increase public understanding about probiotics and provide practical skills in making probiotic food/drinks at home. The methods used in PkM activities are lectures/presentation of material, demonstrations, discussions and presentations. Several steps in the process of making yoghurt, namely: (1) Selection of raw materials, (2) Heating the milk, (3) Cooling the milk, (4) Adding starter culture, (5) Fermentation for 8-12 hours, (6) Cooling and storage. It should be noted that variations in raw materials, methods and types of lactic acid bacteria used can produce yoghurt with different characteristics. Therefore, the process of making yoghurt in this PKM activity meets halalan thayyiban standards.

Abstract

Lack of utilization of household waste, especially used cooking oil (Jelantah) in Watukebo Village, where Jelantah is disposed of carelessly without further processing, causing odors and polluting the environment. Furthermore, it causes odor and environmental pollution. Besides being carcinogenic, used cooking oil, which is dangerous if disposed into the environment, is also included in the category of B3 waste. into the environment. Lack of knowledge about the utilization of Used Cooking Oil by the the Watukebo village community, especially housewives, is one of the obstacles in the efforts to manage household waste that should be utilized in other products of high economic value. One of the ways to handle used cooking oil that is environmentally friendly is by making it laundry soap. To provide appropriate solutions to partners, the cooking oil processing program was carried out in three stages: 1) socializing the making of used cooking oil-based laundry soap to partners, 2) training in making cooking oil-based laundry soap, and 3) managerial training and product business analysis. The results obtained from this activity are liquid laundry soap that is ready to be commercialized and applied to the residents of Bunder Village.

Abstract

Mental disorders can occur at adults because the pressures due to physical, mental, social, economic. It is very unfortunate if family and peers don’t understand an individual's condition, and ignore it. Adults need support from other people, including peers. Community service include 5 stages, socialization, training, application of technology, mentoring and evaluation and sustainability. This activity was carried out by 50 young people in Oenoni 2 village with used pocket books, leaflets, banners, power point. Before and after socialization and training, youth knowledge was measured using a questionnaire. During training, youth practice how to become counselors. Youth were also divided into small groups to conduct FGD to build awareness about mental health. The results showed that there was an increase in knowledge from 5 to 9, also an increase in youth skills and awareness. Youth of Oenoni 2 village can disseminate information about mental health and become peer counselors

Abstract

This community service aims to empower Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the culinary sector in Legok Village, Tangerang, Banten through efficient electrical management training and the implementation of an energy consumption monitoring system. Legok Village, known for its diverse traditional culinary offerings, faces challenges in managing efficient electricity consumption in their daily operations. It is known that in the culinary field, various electrical appliances are needed to support the preparation of food and beverages. The use of these electrical devices needs to be closely monitored so that their management can be regulated to become more energy-efficient. This service includes practical training and education on energy-saving practices, efficient electrical equipment, and power management strategies to help culinary MSMEs in Legok Village reduce electricity costs and enhance the sustainability of their businesses.

Abstract

Theprogramof gamifies fabulor learning using mentimeter was supporting the students and teachers’ skill and creativity in designing IT-Based learning. The method employed utilizied the fabulous learning with Mentimeter. Based on the outcomes of the initial community empowerment activities, the following conclusions were drawn: 1) participants demonstrated high interest and motivation in learning English and actively participated in English lessons through applications like Mentimeter, Duolingo, Memrise, Quizlet, Quizizz, Kahoot, and Quizwhizzer; 2) participants developed an understanding of using Mentimeter synchronized with gamified English learning to improve students’ vocabulary, speaking, and reading skills; 3) participants successfully applied IT-based English learning applications via Mentimeter, Duolingo, Memrise, Quizlet, Quizizz, Kahoot, and Quizwhizzer; 4) participants grasped the concept of enjoyable learning, which helped increase students’ interest and English language proficiency; and 5) participants were able to develop teaching modules in the form of gamified e-modules.
