Abstract

Community service on the topic of entrepreneurship is a community service activity that involves students as participants and lecturers as supervisors that focus on entrepreneurial themes or activities. This community service activity is carried out to provide training and processing of fruit salad products in improving the economy of the Lubuk Enau community. This research method uses qualitative research. The result of this series of community service activities is the development of fruit salad food products with more modern and online-based packaging and marketing such as Facebook, WhatsApp, and Instagram. It is hoped that after this service program is carried out, the people who take part in this training can have broad knowledge and insight and dare to continue to innovate and increase creativity in order to improve their standard of living for the better.

Abstract

Stunting is failure to thrive due to lack of nutritional intake that lasts for a long time from pregnancy to 24 months of age. Efforts to prevent stunting are carried out by meeting the nutritional needs of pregnant women, providing exclusive breastfeeding and eating complementary foods and maintaining environmental cleanliness. One of the nutrients during pregnancy that needs to be considered is the fulfillment of iron needs to prevent nutritional anemia caused by iron deficiency. Based on the results of a survey by a National Competent Institution, the Indonesian Nutritional Status Survey (SSGI), the Padang Panjang stunting rate was set at 20% and based on information from the Padang Panjang City Service Head from Posyandu cadre data, the Padang Panjang stunting rate reached 15.57%. Red spinach is a vegetable that contains a lot of iron that can be consumed as an alternative food to meet iron needs. Iron plays a role in the formation of hemoglobin. The purpose of this community service is to increase the knowledge of pregnant women and mothers with toddlers about the benefits of red spinach and how to process red spinach into noodles. The method used was counseling and distribution of noodles from red spinach for counseling participants. The outputs obtained in this activity are pregnant women and mothers with toddlers who know the benefits of red spinach, can process red spinach into noodles and are willing to consume red spinach as an effort to prevent anemia and stunting.

Abstract

Politeknik Negeri Sriwijaya (POLSRI) adalah salah satu perguruan tinggi terkemuka di kota Palembang Sumatera Selatan. Politeknik yang mendapat peringkat ketiga terbaik di Sumatera Selatan dan berada di klaster ke 12 sebagai pendidikan vokasi terbaik di Indonesia ini, mulai mengadakan program Internasionalisasi terhadap aktivitas pendidikan di kampusnya sebagai upaya pengenalan dengan dunia Internasional untuk melakukan peningkatan mutu dan kualitas pendidikannya. Internasionalisasi itu sendiri merupakan serangkaian aktivitas internasionalisasi seperti academic mobility bagi mahasiswa dan dosen, jejaring internasional, partnership and projects; program akademik internasional yang baru, serta inisiatif penelitian. Lebih lanjut lagi Internasionalisasi sebagai bentuk penyampaian pendidikan kepada negara lain melalui berbagai bentuk penyampaian, seperti kampus cabang atau franchises dengan berbagai bentuk tatap muka ataupun jarak jauh (e-learning). Sebagai upaya meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan dengan menjaring mahasiswa asing, Polsri mengembangkan program Beasiswa Mahasiswa Internasional yang terusu-menerus diadakan. Hal ini memberikan dampak yang signifikan dari perkembangan kualitas pendidikan sebagai hasil dari perwujudan penguatan inovasi, jaringan dan kolaborasi, pertukaran budaya dan adaptasi bentuk pendidikan di lingkungan kampus dengan Mahasiswa dari macam negara.

Abstract

Technological developments have shown tremendous progress. His presence has had a huge impact on mankind in various aspects. In the current development of e-commerce, the concept of digital marketing continues to develop through online applications or platforms whose purpose is to help business people. Digital transactions are increasingly being used, leading business actors to be able to take advantage of the internet very well. The main problems faced by managers are the lack of marketing initiatives by employees and lack of understanding. One way to promote and market IKM TS Aluminum is by improving the marketing system and making more use of its digital marketing by using this digital brochure Imooji and justifying the feed on Instagram to make it look more attractive. After the justification of the Instagram feed and the creation of an online brochure, it is hoped that it will continue in the future. Business actors are able and know the tools available on Imooji. and the perpetrators can post feeds on TS Aluminum's Instagram and edit them themselves using the templates that have been used.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on the industry, such as layoffs. Employees affected by layoffs fulfill their daily needs by becoming MSME actors in the hope of becoming a source of income. Telkom CDC (Community Development Center) is a division of PT Telkom Indonesia as a distributor of CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) funds for MSMEs in the Surabaya area. Based on an interview with the Telkom CDC Manager as an MSME supervisor, he provided information about the problem of soft loan funds being channeled to MSME actors who did not return, because their business was not yet profitable. This is because business actors do not evaluate and improve their business. In addition, during the pandemic, training for MSME actors was also very limited so MSME actors' knowledge, especially on effective marketing, was also lacking. They cannot keep up with the digitalization and packaging trends that attract consumer interest and trust in the products offered. Therefore, we try to provide solutions from the marketing side by providing digital marketing training and the application of green marketing in the form of attractive environmentally friendly packaging.

Abstract

ABSTRACT: Based on data from the World Health Organization (2018), the highest cause of death for the Indonesian population is caused by cardiovascular disease (35%), cancer (12%), chronic respiratory disease (6%), and diabetes (6%). The most widely used natural antioxidants are phenolic compounds. Phenolic compounds have an important role as antioxidants because of the presence of hydroxyl substituents and aromatic structures capable of scavenging free radicals. One of the plants that contain natural antioxidants is Chinese petai. According to research conducted by Talubmook and Buddhakala (2013), it was reported that repeated administration of ethanol extract of Chinese petai leaves at a dose of 250 mg/kg in rats induced by Streptozotocin for eight weeks could reduce blood glucose levels. The potential of using Chinese Petai Leaves as a natural medicine for diabetes has been socialized to the younger generation, especially high school students, to find out the benefits of plants, one of which is Chinese petai as a diabetes medicine. This is to open up students insight to research plants. The socialization was carried out for students of SMAN 10 Palembang. This activity was attended by 50 students of SMAN 10 Palembang and accompanied by 2 supervising teachers

Abstract

Peat water is identical with low acidity (pH), iron (Fe2+), manganese (Mn2+) and has a high color, making it difficult to treat it by filtering. From the results of batch and continuous processing using quicklime (CaO) and aluminum sulfate (Al2 (SO4)318 H2O) it was found that the levels of iron and manganese decreased significantly. For the batch process, iron decreased from 3.5 ppm to 0.1 ppm (97%), manganese from 0.59 ppm to 0 ppm (100%), color from 130 tcu to 1.7 tcu, while for turbidity there was a decrease from 33.8 ntu to 1.9 ntu, pH increased from 3.19 to 6.8. While in the continuous process with the same dose, iron decreased from 3.35 ppm to 0.05 ppm (98.6%), manganese from 0.5 ppm to 0 ppm (100%), pH increased from 3.19 to 7.16 while the turbidity of water decreased from 31.8 ntu to 1.14 ntu. The results of this peat water treatment meet the quality standard of the Minister of Health No. 32 of 2017. Based on the results of the research conducted, it is necessary to apply the results of the research that has been done to peat water in the Talang Sacred area and how processing technology and innovative products are processing peat water into drinkable water for peoples at Talang Keramat, Banyuasin Regency, South Sumatra

Abstract

The goal of the 2022 Leading Applied Community Service (PKM) program in the Gandus-Palembang sub-district is to help farmers (partners) by providing and applying appropriate technology, specifically solar cell technology as renewable energy, so that farmers (partners) can recognize and use solar energy as an alternative energy in agriculture (agrivoltaic). In this activity, an automatic plant watering system based on solar energy was developed and distributed directly to farmers through socialization in the form of lectures and demonstrations or the practice of making and maintaining solar cell modules. Farmers greatly appreciate this activity and hope that it will be repeated in the future.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Learning in target school, namely SDN 111/I Muara Bulian, is generally still conventional and applies the Teacher Center Learning (TCL) model, where teacher is the central figure in the classroom. This is a major problem for the school because conventional learning tends to keep learners from being inspired. However, some teachers in target school are unable to implement innovative learning strategies using technology. One of them is in making audio-visual-based learning media in the form of video. Therefor, a solution was given in the form of training on making learning videos using the Inshot application. This training can make it easier for teachers to make learning videos using their Android. This activity was carried out with a Project Based Learning model and interactive learning methods. Trainers and participants conduct discussions, questions and answers, analyzes, studies, and end with a project. The stages of activity are: (1) preliminary survey; 2) training and guidance; (3) create a project. This training received a very good response from target school, especially teachers who were the trainees. Teachers were becoming more innovative and teaching competencies in this digital era were increasing as evidenced by their success in making interesting learning videos after the training.
