Abstract

Procedure text writing training at tenth grades students Teknik Kendaraan Ringan dan otomotif programs SMK SwastaYapim Biru-Biru was a training that aimed to maximize students' ability to write an English text, specifically procedure text and to make it easy in developing generic structures, linguistics feature of procedure text and type of procedure texts, and also students were able to answer questions related to the text. The subjects of the training were tenth grades students SMK Swasta Yapim Biru-Biru, Teknik Kendaraan Ringan dan Otomotif program. The communicative method was used as a method of training, presenting procedure text material which would become the basic knowledge and a benchmark successful of training that was given to students. There were several supporting instruments that were used to achieve successful of the training, such as laptops, cameras, projectors and printed texts, which were an important part of the training implementation. The results of training in writing procedure texts informed that students' ability in writing procedure texts, especially writing procedure texts in English had improved. It could be known based on successful of students in writing a procedure text that was be adapted to students program, Teknik Kendaraan Ringan dan Otomotif program.

Abstract

Simple accounting bookkeeping training for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) through the community partnership program aimed at improving the ability of SME partners in managing their business financial bookkeeping. So far, SMEs have never used bookkeeping to record all transactions related to their business income or expenses, so it is difficult for them to know exactly how much profit they will get from their business. Through this community partnership program, devotees try to provide the simplest bookkeeping training in an effort to equip partners to be able to manage their finances better. The results obtained from this training are increased knowledge and skills of SMEs in making simple bookkeeping so that they can increase the motivation in running their business.

Abstract

Information systems can be interpreted as media that can be used for the dissemination of information quickly and accurately to support the smooth operation of the organization's operations and decision making. Posyandu in Kuningan district numbered 1191 posyandu from 376 villages in 32 sub-districts in the city of Kuningan, West Java, in 2021 already implemented information technology in recording maternal and child health. The information system is a medium that can be used for the dissemination of information quickly and accurately to support the smooth operation of the organization's operations and decision making. In 2021, posyandu service activities will start from recording infants and toddlers, recording immunization data, and recording infant and toddler weight which can already be done through the Independent and Pinunjul Posyandu Information System (SiAyuMaju) at the address: http://siayumaju.kuningankab .go.id. In its application, there are problems that make the SiAyuMaju application less than optimal due to several Human Resources (HR) / Posyandu cadres who still do not have competence in mastering and using information and communication technology. This is an obstacle in operating the SiAyuMaju system which is not yet fully optimal. Based on these problems, it is necessary to train posyandu cadres in the use of the Mandiri and Pinunjul (SiAyuMaju) information systems in Kuningan Regency. Abstract

This community service uses the lecture, counseling, and discussion methods titled "Anti-Corruption Education Against Generation Alpha Using the State Defense Approach." The long-term goal of this service, the anti-corruption education program, is to be able to provide a sense of awareness and understanding of the notion of corruption, types of corruption, factors causing corruption, and prevention of corruption as a form of implementation of state defense that is adapted to the context of grade 5 school students. The specific target is the alpha generation, which is well educated regarding the understanding, types, causal factors, and prevention of corruption as well as the implementation of state defense. Kegiatan was carried out in the hall at Rawa Barat 05 State Elementary School, which had previously been coordinated with the principal, class teachers, and school stakeholder groups. The main purpose of this service is to implement the values of defending the state against the alpha generation in the spirit of anti-corruption in the future. This activity begins with a Pre test to determine how far the participants' knowledge is related to the theme, then education is given in accordance with the context of the 5th grade students, and the activity ends with a Post test.

Abstract

Every creature that has a life, including humans, will taste death. Caring for the corpse is a kifayah obligation that Muslims must carry out for Muslims who died. In Islamic law, caring for the corpse includes bathing, shrouding, praying, and burying. However, the facts show that not all community members understand and can practice treating corpses according to Islamic law. Therefore, this training in caring for women's bodies is expected to contribute knowledge and skills to assist the community in caring for women's bodies. So that in the end, there will be a group of volunteers who can overcome the problem of caring for women's bodies that the people of Jenengan have faced. There are three steps used in this training to care for women's bodies, namely the lecture method, discussion, and practice of managing the corpse, which is equipped with adequate instruments. As a result, there is an increase in the understanding of the training participants, marked by the willingness to initiate the formation of a group of volunteers to care for corpses

Abstract

This Community Partnership Program deals with community service activity on English Vocabulary Training for students at  Bismar Al-Mustaqin Islamic Boarding school held in August-October 202*2. The partner's problem is Santri orphans have not received English Language Training through digital media  learning. The solution given is training using  digital media The material of training covers singing a song about fruits and animals, Game on animals. At Evaluation step, students are given a test of mastering vocabulary/: fruits and animals with a very good result.

Abstract

The focus of this community service activity is to provide solutions to the problem of handling corn harvest/postharvest and corn farming in the Ngudi Rahayu I Farmer Group, Mentasan Village, Kawunganten District, Cilacap Regency, Central Java. The objectives of this activity are (1) to increase a group of people (corn farmer groups) who are economically independent, (2) to increase knowledge, skills, product quality, and the amount of turnover in corn farmer groups. The activity stages include: (1) the preparation stage, (2) the review stage, (3) the technology planning stage, (4) the technology transfer action plan stage, (5) the implementation stage, and (6) the evaluation stage. The results of community service are the application of solar-energy corn peeler and sheller hybrid technology and skills in farming management. Increasing knowledge and skills in applying technology in this activity was carried out to the Ngudi Rahayu I Farmer Group, Cilacap Regency, Central Java. This activity contributes to increasing the productivity and competitiveness of corn farmers. Increased productivity and competitiveness in the form of economic independence, increased knowledge, skills, product quality, and total turnover in corn farmer groups.

Abstract

The preparation of financial statements according to standards is needed to provide information about the performance of the entity for internal and external users. However, there are still many EMKMs that have not prepared financial reports according to SAK EMKM, one of which is KM Alumunium which is engaged in industry and produces various products made of aluminum in Kranon Hamlet, Sorosutan. This service activity aims to provide an understanding of the process of preparing financial reports and assistance in preparing financial reports per SAK EMKM. Service activities are carried out at partner locations. The results of this service activity are that partners gain knowledge about the process of preparing financial reporting, and partners have financial reports that are by EMKM standards.

Abstract

Improving literacy, especially reading and writing literacy in society, must be one of the centers of attention of various parties. Low literacy skills will encourage people to respond incorrectly to information that has the potential to take actions that are not in accordance with existing rules and can even hinder the growth of the global human development index as the government hopes, and can even harm themselves. This service activity is carried out in an effort to improve literacy in village communities. Activities are carried out by means of outreach, discussions and training that directly involve the community. The implementation of this community service activity proves that the discussion, socialization and training methods can improve the literacy skills of the village community. Providing socialization and training materials can encourage the growth of self-confidence in the basic abilities they have, so that people are increasingly aware that with good literacy, they will find it easier to process and socialize in all conditions.

Abstract

To help the government to make the 12-year compulsory education program a success, the University of Lampung community service team took the initiative to assist in delivering education to people who have dropped out of school and have economic difficulties by cooperating with partners in the form of a local non-formal educational institution called PKBM Jaya Kusuma who is domiciled in Langkapura Village, Bandar Lampung City. The activities to be carried out are in the form of knowledge transfer and life skills regarding good and correct teaching techniques, delivery of basic education according to education levels using participatory methods, starting from problem formulation with partners, surveying potential areas, and implementing mentoring practices, as well as trying to help market this institution. To control the success and progress of activities, monitoring and evaluation are carried out. This activity is expected to produce several outcomes, namely (1) the community educated by PKBM Jaya Kusuma can fill their minds with useful and beneficial knowledge; (2) the community can become agents of educational change by disseminating the results of the PKBM education to the community around their homes who have the same conditions as them so that they can improve the quality of the people there; and (3) PKBM Jaya Kusuma is increasingly recognized and developed as a non-formal educational institution capable of producing quality human resources capable of being useful for the surrounding environment and the country as well as being able to improve the economic conditions of their families.
