Abstract

Educational responsibility cannot be done unilaterally, it requires collaboration and cooperation of three components which Ki Hajar Dewantara called the three centers of education: family, educational institutions, and society. The three are a complete unit and complement each other. The involvement and role of parents and society in overseeing children's education in the era of globalization is very urgent. This journal aims to discuss the importance of the Three Centers of Education as a solution to overcome the increasing juvenile delinquency in this era of globalization. The writing of this journal uses the library research method, or often also called library study or library research, collecting data from various literatures. The three centers of education equally play an important role in the success of education, which are basically all interrelated and cooperate with each other. The three must indirectly provide close guidance in the education process. The relationship between the three can be seen from: Parents carry out their obligations to educate children in the family, educational institutions facilitate teaching various sciences. knowledge and skills with full support from parents of students, and the community is expected to become a facilitator for students to be able to actualize their knowledge and skills

Abstract

This study discusses the learning strategy of the Al-Qur'an Hadīth subject in forming the religious character of students at MTs Ma'arif Bumi Baru, Blambangan Umpu District, Way Kanan Regency. The background of this study is based on the importance of religious character education amidst the moral and social challenges faced by the younger generation. The Al-Qur'an Hadīth subject has a strategic role in instilling deep Islamic values, so that learning is not only oriented towards mastering the material, but also on forming attitudes and behaviors that reflect religious values. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of observation, in-depth interviews with teachers and students, and documentation of learning activities. The results of the study show that teachers use several effective strategies, including: integration between religious theory and practice, habituation of daily worship such as dhuha prayer, recitation of the Al-Qur'an before the lesson begins, instilling the values of honesty, responsibility, and discipline through studying the meaning of the verses of the Al-Qur'an, and the application of the exemplary method (uswah hasanah) in daily interactions. In addition, the use of discussion methods and contextual reflection of values encourages students to relate the teachings of the Qur'an and Hadith to everyday life. This strategy has been proven to be able to improve students' religious character as reflected in politeness, enthusiasm for worship, honesty, and enthusiasm for sharing. Thus, learning the Qur'an and Hadith which is designed holistically and integratively can be an effective medium in forming students' religious character. This study recommends that this learning strategy continue to be developed and supported by the madrasah environment and family in order to create a generation that is faithful, has noble character, and is responsible.

Abstract

The government has the responsibility to prevent conflicts from arising due to cultural differences and social habits. Therefore, the educational policies developed need to reflect this spirit Bhinneka Tunggal Ika, namely unity in diversity. As a form of effort to increase inclusivity in formal education, the government is building schools that are open to all students, regardless of religion, tribe or ethnicity. However, challenges remain. One of them is the delivery of religious lessons in schools which sometimes tends to instill an exclusive understanding that one's own beliefs are the only truth, while the teachings of other religions are considered wrong. This risks giving rise to prejudice, emotional distance, and even hatred between followers of different religions. At SMA Negeri 2 Metro, Islamic Religious Education teachers play an important role in two main aspects of the educational process. First, they convey Islamic teaching material proportionally and contextually in the classroom. Second, they instill universal religious values such as mutual respect, cooperation and tolerance for differences in students' daily lives. Schools also provide space for students to develop as individuals who are able to adapt to social diversity. Through this process, students are taught to accept differences, build trust between others, foster mutual understanding, and be open and trusting in establishing social relationships. In this way, multicultural education is not just a discourse, but a real practice that is able to prevent conflict and violence in social life.

Abstract

Teacher discipline is one of the success qualities in the world of education. Disciplined teachers can set a good example for students. Students can develop their knowledge if they have teachers who are disciplined in administration and science. Teachers not only provide information but also help students understand the concept of effective learning. Teachers play a role in shaping students' character and ethics in interacting with other people. Apart from that, teachers also play a role in fostering student independence and confidence. So teachers are one of the internal factors in the quality of education. In this case, teachers must be required to be professional, for example teachers providing creative and innovative learning to encourage students to achieve optimal achievement. Disciplined teachers are also one of the keys to the success of the quality of education in a school.

Abstract

The phenomenon of female converts marrying under the guardianship of religious leaders in Batu Ampar District presents a unique issue, as it does not entirely align with national legal procedures, yet enjoys broad acceptance within the local community. While earlier studies have focused on court-appointed guardians (wali hakim) or the role of wali muhakkam in emergencies, limited research has analyzed this phenomenon through the lens of hearing shari'ah. This study seeks to address that gap by exploring the underlying factors, examining the validity of the marriage process according to classical Islamic jurisprudence, and interpreting it through the objectives of Islamic law. Using a qualitative descriptive method, data were collected through interviews and field observations. The findings reveal that the factors prompting the use of religious leaders as marriage guardians include the absence of a Muslim lineage guardian, economic limitations in accessing formal legal procedures, social pressure to maintain family honour, and the high legitimacy of religious leaders within the community. From the perspective of fiqh procedures, the marriage fulfilled all the essential pillars and conditions, such as the presence of acceptance (offer and acceptance), two just witnesses, a guardian (still), and a dowry (mahar). From the viewpoint of maqashid syari’ah, the marriage achieved the protection of religion (hifzh al-din), life (hifzh al-nafs), honor (hifzh al-‘ird), lineage (hifzh al-nasl), and property (hifzh al-mal).

Abstract

The Madrasahs have a strategic role in increasing students' religious understanding, especially in the field of Fiqh as a guide to Islamic law in everyday life. This research aims to analyze the role of Ustadz in improving the understanding of Islamic Fiqh for Class 6 Ibtidaiyyah students at the Darul Falah Madrasah, which is located in the Darul Ulum Islamic Boarding School environment, Seputih Banyak, Central Lampung. This research uses a qualitative approach with the phenomenological method, involving observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis as data collection techniques. The research results show that Madrasas as non-formal educational institutions play a role in providing a systematic Fiqh curriculum, while Ustadz play a role as teachers, educators and guides in the learning process. The methods used in learning Fiqh include lectures, discussions, demonstrations, questions and answers, and memorization. However, there are several challenges in learning Fiqh in Madrasas, such as limited learning resources, variations in the level of understanding of students, and different learning motivations. To overcome these challenges, Ustadz applies practice-based learning strategies, contextual approaches, uses learning media, and strengthens the character of students through direct guidance. This research confirms that the effectiveness of Fiqh learning in Madrasahs is very dependent on the active role of the Ustadz and the learning strategies implemented. It is hoped that this study can become a reference in improving the quality of Fiqh learning in Madrasas as part of the Islamic education system.
