Abstract

This study analyzes the influence of financial and non-financial support on the entrepreneurial orientation of BUMDesa using the Interactive Decision Theory approach. The hypothesis testing results indicate that both financial and non-financial support significantly affect entrepreneurial orientation, both partially and simultaneously, with an Adjusted R Square of 93.6%. These findings confirm that BUMDesa's strategic decisions are not only influenced by internal factors but also by interactions with key stakeholders, particularly the government as the primary provider of support. Theoretically, this study expands the application of Interactive Decision Theory in the context of village-based entrepreneurship by incorporating government policies as a key determinant in strategic decision-making. Furthermore, this research emphasizes that the relationship between the government and BUMDesa is dynamic and evolves alongside policy changes. From a managerial perspective, the findings provide insights for BUMDesa managers to optimize government support, as well as for policymakers in designing more adaptive and feedback-based policies. The implications of this study also highlight the importance of strengthening training programs, mentoring, and more flexible policies to create a sustainable and competitive village entrepreneurship ecosystem.

Abstract

Taxes remain the primary source of revenue for several countries around the world to fund government operations and national development, including Indonesia. Efforts to maximize state revenue are always associated with increasing tax collection. Citizens' participation in fulfilling their tax obligations is also influenced by their level of trust in public services and the provision of infrastructure, which are perceived as the realization of the taxes they pay to the state. This study employs a literature review of the concepts and taxation systems in the history of Islamic civilization, which were implemented during the leadership of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in Medina and continued during the Caliphate periods. The results of the literature review reveal that the concepts and systems of taxation in Islam can be adopted as contemporary tax management systems to establish a trustworthy and equitable tax system. This study also presents several alternative sources of state revenue that can be enhanced, enabling the state to reduce its reliance on taxes as the primary source of revenue

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of workload and compensation on employee turnover intention at PetroChina International Ltd Jambi. The research method used is multiple linear regression analysis with data collected from questionnaires distributed to 80 respondents. The results indicate that both workload and compensation significantly influence employee turnover intention. High workload and inadequate compensation can increase employees' intention to leave their jobs. Specifically, workload has a more dominant effect compared to compensation on turnover intention. The study recommends that the company evaluate and improve workload management and compensation systems to enhance employee satisfaction and retention. The level of turnover intention is influenced by various factors, including high workload and compensation that may not be fully adequate. This study noted dissatisfaction among some employees who felt underappreciated and at risk of changing jobs. Workload had a significant effect on turnover intention. This shows that high workload significantly increases employees' intention to leave their jobs. Excessive workload contributes to stress and dissatisfaction that encourages employees to consider other job alternatives. Compensation was also shown to have a significant effect on turnover intention. This indicates that inadequate or unmet compensation can increase employees' intention to leave their jobs. Employees who feel their compensation is not in accordance with their contributions or industry standards are more likely to seek other job opportunities. Workload and compensation have a significant effect together on turnover intention

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the effect of recruitment and job placement on employee performance at Hotel Alpha Pekanbaru. The research method used is quantitative with a survey approach, involving 35 employees from the Front Office and Housekeeping departments as respondents. Data analysis techniques include validity testing, reliability testing, classical assumptions, and multiple linear regression. The results show that recruitment significantly affects employee performance, while job placement does not have a significant partial effect. However, simultaneously, recruitment and job placement have a significant effect on employee performance with a contribution of 55.6%, while the remaining 44.4% is influenced by other factors not studied. These findings indicate that an effective recruitment strategy is crucial for improving employee performance, while evaluation and adjustment of job placements are necessary to align with employee competencies. Hotel Alpha Pekanbaru is recommended to strengthen the recruitment process and regularly evaluate job placements to optimize overall employee performance

Abstract

This study analyzes the volatility of cryptocurrency, specifically Bitcoin, in Indonesia during the period of 2022-2024, before and after the launch of the Crypto Exchange on July 17, 2023. The study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of this policy in creating stability in the crypto market. Using a quantitative approach and historical volatility analysis, the research found that the launch of the Crypto Exchange boosted investor confidence and reduced volatility in 2023. However, in 2024, volatility increased again due to market speculation surrounding Bitcoin's halving and regulatory uncertainties. The findings provide valuable insights for investors and regulators in navigating the rapidly changing crypto market in Indonesia

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of work discipline on employee performance at PT Mito Energi Indonesia. High work discipline has a significant impact on employee performance and organizational success. Using the type of research with a quantitative method approach. The population in this study included all employees who worked at PT Mito Energi Indonesia. The sample in this study consisted of 40 respondents using saturated sampling technique (census). Data collection was carried out through interviews, observations, and distributing questionnaires to all respondents. The analysis techniques used include validity test, reliability test, simple regression analysis, t test, coefficient of determination test, and statistical hypothesis testing. The results of this study indicate that the Work Discipline variable, with indicators such as accuracy in coming to work, accuracy in leaving time, compliance with applicable regulations, use of work uniforms, and responsibility in doing tasks, received responses from respondents in the Good category. While in the Employee Performance variable, which is measured through indicators of quality, quantity, and timeliness, the results of responses from respondents are also in the Good category. The results of the simple linear regression analysis show that Work Discipline has a significant relationship to Employee Performance.

Abstract

Blood cockles (Anadara granosa) are one of the aquatic commodities with high economic value and represent a sector with significant potential for economic development. The existence of  coastal ecosystems in Rokan Hilir plays a crucial role in supporting blood cockle cultivation. These ecosystems not only provide a suitable habitat for blood cockle growth but also a sustainable base for various other economic activities. Proper management policies for these ecosystems are essential for the sustainable development of  blood cockle cultivation. The aims of  this research are to identify the policies related to the development of  blood cockle (Anadara granosa) cultivation and to assess the existence of coastal ecosystems in Rokan Hilir, Riau. Additionally, this research aims to raise awareness among the government, private sector, and public about the importance of sustainable coastal resource and ecosystem management. It also seeks to provide insights into the economic potential of blood cockle cultivation to improve community welfare. This research used a qualitative descriptive method, involving interviews with blood cockle farmers, collectors, and local government officials. Secondary data collection and direct observations at the cultivation sites were also conducted . This research found several findings, such as: Environmental Impact, blood cockle cultivation can have both positive and negative  environmental impacts.  Sustainable  Development Strategies,  developing  blood  cockle  cultivation requires a holistic approach and the adoption of  environmentally friendly cultivation models. The application of  technology in blood cockle farming is also a key strategy for sustainable development. Regulations and Policies, there is a lack of  regulations regarding blood cockle cultivation and coastal management policies, including price control policies, seed collection regulations, and land allocation for farming, which sometimes lead to criminal activities. There are also no policies in place to develop effective technology for cul tivating blood cockle seeds. Based on the research findings, it is necessary to provide regular guidance, monitoring, and evaluation  for  blood  cockle  farmers.  Additionally,  relevant  authorities  should  formulate  appropriate regulations, develop training and extension programs, facilitate research and development of  blood cockle farming technology, and promote collaboration and synergy among all sectors.

Abstract

The use of digital technology in the economic sector is currently experiencing very rapid development, not to mention the banking sector such as Bank Riau Kepri Syariah. The purpose of writing this article is to analyze the strategy implemented by Bank Riau Kepri Syariah in utilizing digital rupiah transactions and blockchain technology to improve excellent service to customers. This research uses the SWOT analysis method to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats in the application of digital and blockchain technology in the sharia banking sector. The research results explain that BRK Syariah, in utilizing digital rupiah and block chain technology to improve the quality of excellent service to customers, is implementing a strategy designed to suit current needs, which is useful for developing BRK Syariah's service strategy in facing the challenges of the continuously developing digital banking industry

Abstract

This study aims to examine how competency-based human resource management (HRM) systems adapt to digital technology advancements through a literature review. Digital transformation has fundamentally reshaped business structures and dynamics, requiring organizations to adjust their strategies to maintain competitiveness. This research employs a literature study methodology, analyzing articles, journals, and academic documents published between 2021 and 2025. The findings reveal that organizations face several challenges, including difficulties in identifying and developing relevant digital competencies and resistance to change among employees. Various adaptation strategies have been implemented, such as project-based training programs and the selection of employees with appropriate digital skills. The success of these strategies depends significantly on key factors, including top management support, active employee participation, and effective organizational communication. The study concludes by emphasizing the importance of a strategic and proactive approach in HRM policymaking to foster digital competencies and cultivate a more flexible and responsive organizational culture in the face of technological changes. This research provides valuable insights for HRM practitioners in navigating technological disruptions and market dynamics

Abstract

This study examines the influence of brand image on consumer purchasing decisions at McDonald's during the boycott period caused by the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The boycott movement reflects a combination of cultural, ethical, and religious considerations influencing consumer behavior. The research focused on Medan State University students, utilizing a quantitative approach with a survey method. Data were collected from 100 respondents through an online questionnaire and analyzed using simple linear regression. The findings reveal that brand image significantly and positively impacts purchasing decisions, accounting for 61.2% of the variance. Despite the boycott, McDonald's strong brand image helped sustain consumer loyalty, emphasizing the importance of brand perception in mitigating external pressures. However, regional variations and other factors such as peer influence and personal ethics also play a role in shaping consumer behavior. This study highlights the resilience of brand image during socio-political crises but also exposes the limitations of boycott campaigns targeting well-established global brands. The results underscore the need for culturally specific strategies by activists and proactive crisis management by corporations. Future research should explore additional variables influencing consumer decisions to provide a more comprehensive understanding of these dynamics
