<![CDATA[TOEFL is known to have a very high level of difficulty. Grammar and vocabulary become a heavy burden for students. Weak understanding in these two skills will hinder their understanding to answer the Listening, Structure, Written Expression, and Reading sections. Facing this problem, the Ma'arif NU Metro Lampung Institute of Islamic Religion organizes an English Language training program assistance (TOEFL) for Islamic boarding school students in the city of Metro, especially those who are studying at IAIMNU Metro. This Mentoring Program is expected to be able to help students to improve their communication skills both orally and in writing in English in the scope of academic understanding through the TOEFL. In this mentoring activity, it is hoped that they will be motivated and equipped with learning and strategies to analyze and answer questions in the TOEFL system.]]>

<![CDATA[Indonesian traditional games are now increasingly being abandoned. Children prefer to play online games. The purpose of this community service activity is to develop children's interpersonal intelligence by playing traditional games and introducing traditional games to children. This activity was attended by 12 children aged between 7-12 years in Ar Rasyid Alquran learning center. The activity was carried out for 4 meetings, each meeting played a different game; Bantengan, Gobaksodor, Dakon and Engkle. Children's interpersonal intelligence was measured through a questionnaire given before and after the activity. The measurement results before the activity were obtained 6 children who had less interpersonal intelligence and after the activity there were 2 children who had less interpersonal intelligence. This activity found that playing traditional games can develop children's intelligence. Parents and school teachers are expected to be able to introduce and apply traditional games in the home and school because of their benefits both for the development of interpersonal intelligence and as an effort to preserve traditional Indonesian games.]]>

<![CDATA[This research uses an Asset-Based Community Development approach. This Study aims to empower the potential of the community so that they have the power to recognize and utilize all the strengths and assets they have for the good off the community. The asset referred too here is Karawo as a product of the typcal cultural arts of the province of Gorontalo Indonesian. Karawo is a technique for forming ornaments on textiles, through a process of designing, slicing, and removing certain parts of the textile fiber to make the base plane, and re-stitching the pulled textile fibers to form motifs. Karawo business in Mongolato Village, Kec. Telaga, Kab. Gorontalo started from 2004 until now and has gone global. The Covid-19 epidemic has emerged and is of particular concern to economists and business people. This is because it is estimated that the global economy will slow down following a stipulation from the WHO which mentions the corona outbreak as a pandemic affecting the business world. during the Covid-19 pandemic, the Karawo business was still ongoing or ongoing. The Covid-19 pandemic did not have a negative impact on the typical Gorontalo karawo business actors, precisely in Mongolato Village, Kec. Telaga, Kab. Gorontalo. In fact, Karawo's business income has increased due to the Covid-19 pandemic.]]>

<![CDATA[One of the basic needs of the postpartum period is postpartum exercise. There are so many benefits of gymnastics, but there are so many postpartum mothers who don't do postpartum exercises. The purpose of this activity is to encourage cadres and families to improve the health status of postpartum mothers by accompanying and supporting mothers to carry out postpartum exercises regularly. The activity was carried out in Wonokromo Village, Surabaya by providing education about postpartum gymnastics to cadres, families, and postpartum mothers. Furthermore, postpartum gymnastics assistance was carried out for postpartum mothers. The activities will start from May - July 2021 with 40 participants using online zoom media and 11 postpartum mothers offline. Evaluate the results by interview. The results of the activity showed an understanding of postpartum gymnastics both cadres, families, and postpartum mothers mostly (52.5%) were good, almost all postpartum mothers (90.9%) did postpartum exercise routinely, almost all families (81.8%) fully supported and all cadres (100%) are willing to give full support to postpartum mothers to do postpartum exercises even at home. Family assistance and cadre support make a big contribution to improving the health status of postpartum mothers through routine postpartum exercises. <![CDATA[The impact of the prolonged Covid-19 pandemic is that it is difficult to find work, there are layoffs, and it is difficult to meet daily needs. The source of income for Kalidami residents is still centered on the husband's income, so housewives also need to have skills so that income does not only come from their husbands. The purpose of this community service activity is to increase knowledge of making goat's milk yogurt and interest in entrepreneurship for PKK RT 05, Kalidami, Mojo, Gubeng, Surabaya. A total of 15 PKK RT 05 Kalidami mothers were given education using lecture and question and answer methods. The media used are videos and booklets. The evaluation was carried out by giving a knowledge questionnaire about yogurt making with a maximum total score of 5 points, followed by statistical analysis using the Paired Sample Test. The result of this activity is that there is a significant increase in knowledge (p-value 0.00) in the target group of PKK women RT05 Kalidami indicated by the average score of knowledge about yogurt before being given education of 2.07 and after being given education it increased to 4 ,40. Education on making goat's milk yogurt with video media and booklets is effective in increasing knowledge and interest in entrepreneurship among PKK women in RT 05 Kalidami, Mojo, Gubeng, Surabaya.]]>

<![CDATA[Ginger as a herbal plant is widely used as a drink and a cooking ingredient, Wedang Senja Padam and Sedayu Manja are drinks served to Covid 19 patients at the Surabaya Islamic Hospital. To increase production capacity as an additional source of income, it is necessary to calculate a feasibility study on the manufacture of Senja Padam and Sedayu Manja drinks. This service begins with conducting a study of the materials to be used in the literature, the amount, and the composition of the ingredients following the drink. Conduct market research related to the results of testing the composition of ingredients on customers. From this service, produce a composition of beverage ingredients following customer desires and produce a feasibility study that provides a positive value of the initial investment value of 2,500,000 resulting in a net cash flow of 6,187,500 with an IRR value of 21% and a B/C of 1.3 showing fit for production.]]>

<![CDATA[This article is about community empowerment in making tables and chairs by utilizing plastic waste, this empowerment is carried out on a group of PKK women. The purpose of this assistance is to improve skills and realize the work of batik-patterned chairs by utilizing inorganic waste in the context of empowering the creative economy. The focus of the study of this article is how is the form of empowering the creative economy of PKK women in making tables and chairs using plastic waste? This assistance prioritizes the utilization of the potential and assets that already exist in the community. To be able to carry out the mentoring program, the steps used in this mentoring activity are Asset Based Community Development (ABCD). The result of this empowerment is that the use of plastic waste is used as a material for making ecobricks. Ecobricks are plastic drink bottles packed with non-organic waste to make reusable building blocks.]]>

<![CDATA[In our environment there are a lot of things that we think of as leftovers, but in the hands of experts, things that are considered useless can be turned into valuables and have high artistic value, this service uses palm sticks to become woven plates, fruit bowl and parcel. Tiyuh Panaragan is an oil palm plantation area that has plantation waste in the form of multiple palm sticks which have only been destroyed by burning. The purpose of this service is to improve the entrepreneurial skills of the community by utilizing palm sticks and shaping them into objects that are beautiful and useful and have a high selling value. The method used in this mentoring is Asset Based Community Development (ABCD). This assistance utilizes the potential of the Tiyuh Panaragan community in Tulang Bawang Tengah District, Tulang Bawang Barat Regency. The result of this service is the mastery of the skills provided in this activity so that the ability of these excellent skills can benefit in increasing entrepreneurship and in the end it can improve the community's economy. Thus the community service in increasing entrepreneurship with the creation of this oil palm stick is running smoothly, although there are several obstacles, these obstacles can be overcome. The skills given in this activity provide more knowledge and skills by utilizing palm oil waste which has been used as waste which has not been utilized properly.]]>

<![CDATA[Children in the village of South Pandansari tend to prefer playing with their cellphones, watching TV and playing with their friends rather than taking advantage of the time they have. Service activities in the form of making crafts using used goods that can be utilized. The community service team carried out this activity at the Reading Corner, to be precise, in Pandan Sari Selatan Village, Sukoharjo District, Pringsewu Regency. So that children in South Pandansari Village can work from an early age. The community service and empowerment method used is ABCD (Asset Based Community Development). The results of the community service activities that have been carried out are teaching the children of South Pandansari village to work in utilizing used goods, to start practicing creative thinking from an early age for their future and to take advantage of their free time so they are not consumed by negative things. The programs that have been implemented can be used as a reference and input to add experience or skills and encourage the creation of a more active, dynamic, healthy and prosperous society and can serve as an example for other sub-districts or villages.]]>

<![CDATA[Character is needed in every individual, especially good character. Creating a good personality can be done in three educational environments: education in the family, school, and community. Effectively, cultivating good character in a person can be through habituation and starting in early childhood education. This service is to create a good character from an early age, namely through reading Asmaul Husna and translating into Indonesian and English. The method in this service uses the ABCD (Asset Base Community Development) method, the location of the service is carried out at the Ma'arif NU Metro Lampung early childhood education institution, which consists of three schools, namely RA Ma'arif, TK Maarif 1, and TK Ma'arif 2 Metro Lampung. As with the Service Locations that will be carried out later, the habituation program is based on the values of ASWAJA and Nahdliyah. However, its application requires innovation from audio-visual media.]]>
