Abstract

This study aims to describe the results of the Implementation of the Independent Curriculum in Indonesian Language Learning at SMAN 4 Tapung. The subjects in this study were teachers at SMAN 4 Tapung. The data in this research are primary data and secondary data. There are three data sources in this study. First, Indonesian teacher, second Indonesian teacher, and third Indonesian teacher. The instrument of this research is joint research. The results of this study are twelve. First, the teacher has implemented the independent curriculum in Indonesian language learning. Second, the implementation of the independent curriculum brings positive changes to student behavior. Third, the learning materials for the independent curriculum are better than before. Fourth, the teacher makes students apply P5 (projects, strengthening, profiles, students, Pancasila). Fifth, the application of various learning facilities in schools. Sixth, the teacher gives freedom in using learning resources. Seventh, the teacher applies the type of assessment for the national exam, namely AKM. Eighth, implementing socialization in AKM and character surveys. Ninth, exercise freedom in designing learning activities according to the context and needs of students in the independent curriculum. Tenth, preparing lessons in Indonesian made by the teacher in the form of teaching modules. Eleventh, the application of methods and strategies in implementing the independent curriculum teaching modules in Indonesian. Twelfth, the teacher applies a student-centered learning model.

Abstract

This research discusses the utilization of digital technology in the context of marketing educational services at Kusuma Bangsa High School Palembang. This research is a type of qualitative research with descriptive characteristics that explores various qualitative aspects in understanding marketing strategies involving digital technology. In this study, data were obtained through interviews, observations, and documentation from various parties, including the principal, vice principal for student affairs, multimedia experts, and other resource persons who have related information. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. To ensure data validity, the research used data triangulation, which includes triangulation of sources, methods and techniques. The results showed that the utilization of digital technology is an important key to the existence of educational institutions in the digital era. Kusuma Bangsa High School Palembang implements an education services marketing strategy through various digital platforms, with content curation and public relations team training. The utilization of digital technology in marketing education services at Kusuma Bangsa High School Palembang has succeeded in maintaining its existence and attracting public interest. This research provides in-depth information about the importance of digital technology in marketing education services and how educational institutions can utilize it effectively. The implications of this research are expected to be useful for other educational institutions that want to improve marketing efforts through digital technology.

Abstract

As time goes by, education will continue to experience difficulties, therefore students cannot only wait for the lessons given by the teacher, self-regulated learning is needed to increase student effectiveness. So that students quickly understand the lesson and the teacher does not have difficulty explaining the material that will be presented. Purpose of the research This is to increase student learning effectiveness by using self-regulated learning.Method usedby researchers in conducting this research areQuantitative, data obtained through distributing online questionnaires using Google Forms.Results of this researchshows that there is an increase in student learning effectiveness through the use of self-regulated learning.Conclusion of this researchis to increase discipline and independence of students who cannot be controlled. Therefore, self-regulated learning is needed to facilitate understanding of learning material.Limitations in researchThis researcher only conducted research online so the data obtained was less relevant. This research also recommendsto future researchers so that it becomes a challenge to use self-regulated learning in increasing student learning effectiveness.

Abstract

Since the founding of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia, the Minang people have played a significant role and contributed to building and fulfilling the independence of the Unitary State. However, in the last few decades, the position of the Minang people has faded in the national arena, both in the fields of education, religion, politics, economics, and other fields. Therefore, these roles and contributions need to be realized again, but producing figures with strengths in specific fields is challenging. Based on several existing theories, education is a strategic step in building competent individuals. In line with that, this article will analyze how innovative planning and development of religious education is based on local wisdom as an effort to mambangkik Batang Tarandam. The research was carried out using library research. Namely, data was collected from various books and articles published by multiple publishers. The data was analyzed using comparative techniques. For example, the researcher conducted a study by comparing several opinions to find the researcher's statement. The results of the analysis conclude that religious education based on local wisdom can potentially help develop Batang Tarandam. This finding is based on the history of Minangkabau figures who have made history in developing the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia based on surau-based education.

Abstract

In learning Indonesian, the study of practical problems regarding language in everyday life is very useful for a child or student in living and living now and in the future. With the hope that these students will later be able to realize and understand that they cannot live without the contribution of language in every action, but living in a large environment is very difficult when the language used is not appropriate to the context, if you want to live a decent life then language is one of the tools to be able to connect good communication with others. The next problem is related to the choice and learning approach, which has not generated much student activity and creativity. This is because they still often use conventional approaches, where learning is centered on the teacher, so that students become passive. If the learning can activate students, it will be interesting and the large amount of material can be quickly absorbed by students. Because they are enthusiastic, want to learn seriously. Based on the problem above, we are interested in implementing a contextual learning model which is seen as being able to help students be active in learning and teaching activities. The aim of this research is to find out the influence of contextual learning on increasing students' interest in learning Indonesian. To find out whether there is an increase in students' interest in learning Indonesian. To determine the simultaneous influence of contextual learning and student interest in learning on the learning achievement of class IX students at SMP Negeri 3 Bawolato. The method used in this research is a quantitative method by applying an experimental approach to class IX students at SMP Negeri 3 Bawolato, data collection using research instruments, (1) attention to learning, (2) participation in learning activities, (3) effort in completing assignments, (4) interest in learning material. The results of the research show that there is a simultaneous influence of contextual learning and student interest in learning on the learning achievement of class IX students at SMP Negeri 3 Bawolato. Students' perceptions of the contextual learning model have a greater effective contribution to increasing students' interest in learning Indonesian, although not yet to its full potential.

Abstract

Moral education has a significant role in shaping the noble character of students. Good morals reflect a noble personality and are the foundation for a dignified civilization. However, many students’ morals still do not follow what is expected in the field. Therefore, this research aims to find and analyze how Islamic Junior High School Baiturrahman Teluk Kuantan builds the noble character of students through moral education. The research method used by the author is a qualitative approach to deepen the understanding of noble character through moral education. These methods can involve interviews, observations, and documentation. Based on the results of the research show that Islamic Junior High School Baiturrahman Taluk Kuantan emphasizes the importance of moral education or character education in developing personality and noble character in students, which includes the development of positive qualities such as honesty, responsibility, respect, tolerance, kindness, and in the end can bring positive benefits to the Islamic Junior High School Baiturrahman extended family.

Abstract

In today's digital era, security and efficiency in attendance management in the school environment are very important. Biometric technology has become a new trend in improving security and optimizing the attendance recording process, replacing manual systems prone to errors and fraud. This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of applying biometric technology in school attendance and security management. Specifically, this research focuses on evaluating how this technology can reduce cheating, increase the accuracy of attendance data, and strengthen school security systems. This research uses quantitative methods with a case study approach at five schools implementing a biometric system. Data was collected through surveys of school administrators and direct observation of the registration and identity verification processes at these schools. Data analysis was carried out using descriptive and inferential statistics. This research shows that using biometric technology significantly increases the efficiency and accuracy of the attendance recording system. Student attendance is recorded quickly and accurately, with virtually no cheating. This technology also strengthens the security system by ensuring that only verified individuals can access school facilities. This research concludes that applying biometric technology in school attendance and security management has proven very effective. This technology optimizes attendance and improves security, providing a safe environment for students and staff. The research recommends wider adoption of biometric technology in other schools to improve security and operational efficiency.

Abstract

The integration of technology in education, especially cognitive technology, is important to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the learning assessment and evaluation process. Cognitive technology, which combines artificial intelligence and machine learning, offers new possibilities for adapting and personalizing learning experiences. However, its use in learning assessment is still limited and requires further investigation to identify its effectiveness. This research aims to analyze and evaluate the role of cognitive technology in learning assessment and evaluation. The main objective is to determine the extent to which this technology can improve the accuracy and relevance of feedback provided to students and explore the potential for improving learning outcomes through adapting learning content based on assessment data. This research uses quantitative methods with an experimental design. The research sample involved students at a university who used a cognitive technology-based assessment system during one academic semester. The results show that using cognitive technology in assessment can improve accuracy in diagnosing learning weaknesses and provide more personalized and timely feedback. Additionally, students who took assessments with cognitive technology showed greater improvements in academic achievement compared to a control group that did not use similar technology. This research concludes that integrating cognitive technology in learning assessment and evaluation offers great potential to improve the educational process by providing more relevant and personalized feedback. This technology supports teachers in identifying individual learning needs and helps students understand their weaknesses, facilitating more effective and efficient learning.
