Abstract

Moral education has a significant role in shaping the noble character of students. Good morals reflect a noble personality and are the foundation for a dignified civilization. However, many students’ morals still do not follow what is expected in the field. Therefore, this research aims to find and analyze how Islamic Junior High School Baiturrahman Teluk Kuantan builds the noble character of students through moral education. The research method used by the author is a qualitative approach to deepen the understanding of noble character through moral education. These methods can involve interviews, observations, and documentation. Based on the results of the research show that Islamic Junior High School Baiturrahman Taluk Kuantan emphasizes the importance of moral education or character education in developing personality and noble character in students, which includes the development of positive qualities such as honesty, responsibility, respect, tolerance, kindness, and in the end can bring positive benefits to the Islamic Junior High School Baiturrahman extended family.

Abstract

Filsafat ilmu merupakan cabang filsafat yang mengkaji hakikat ilmu, termasuk objek, metode, dan nilainya. Kajian ini terbagi menjadi tiga ranah utama, yaitu ontologi, epistemologi, dan aksiologi. Ontologi membahas tentang hakikat realitas yang menjadi objek ilmu. Dalam kajian keislaman, ontologi menelaah eksistensi Allah, alam semesta, dan manusia sebagai ciptaan-Nya. Hal ini menjadi dasar bagi pemahaman seluruh aspek ilmu dalam kerangka Islam. Epistemologi mengkaji sumber, metode, dan batas pengetahuan. Kajian epistemologi Islam membahas sumber pengetahuan yang sah, seperti Al-Quran, Hadits, dan akal. Selain itu, dibahas pula metode yang tepat untuk memperoleh pengetahuan, seperti penalaran deduktif, induktif, dan ijtihad. Aksiologi meneliti nilai-nilai yang terkandung dalam ilmu. Dalam konteks Islam, aksiologi menekankan pentingnya ilmu untuk mencapai kebahagiaan di dunia dan akhirat. Kajian ini membahas nilai-nilai moral, etika, dan spiritual yang menjadi landasan pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan. Memahami ketiga ranah filsafat ilmu ini secara mendalam sangatlah penting dalam kajian keislaman. Hal ini membantu umat Islam dalam memahami hakikat ilmu, mengembangkannya dengan benar, dan menggunakannya untuk kemaslahatan umat manusia.

Abstract

Penelitian ini meneliti dasar keagamaan dan metode keilmuan gerakan Islam Muhammadiyah di Indonesia. Dengan pendekatan deskriptif analisis dan menggunakan data dari berbagai referensi kepustakaan, penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Muhammadiyah, yang didirikan oleh Kyai Haji Ahmad Dahlan pada tahun 1912, berakar pada ajaran Islam dan berusaha menegakkan prinsip-prinsip Al-Qur'an dan Sunnah. Dengan fokus pada dakwah amar ma'ruf nahi munkar, Muhammadiyah berkembang pesat dan mendirikan sekolah-sekolah modern di seluruh Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dengan metode kepustakaan kepustakaan yang mengandalkan data dari berbagai referensi tertulis, seperti buku atau jurnal. Pendekatannya adalah analisis deskriptif. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah walaupun di tengah arus globalisasi, Muhammadiyah mengadopsi konsep "Islam Berkemajuan" yang menekankan nilai-nilai kemanusiaan universal dan identitasnya sebagai gerakan reformis yang memajukan Islam Indonesia melalui kajian kritis terhadap Al-Qur'an. Meskipun disebut dengan berbagai identitas, seperti Islam Modernis, Reformis, dan Murni, Muhammadiyah tetap menjadi salah satu gerakan Islam yang signifikan di Indonesia. Sebagai Gerakan Sosial, Muhammadiyah berupaya memperjuangkan pemurnian ajaran Islam dan perubahan positif dalam masyarakat melalui pendidikan dan berbagai kegiatan sosial. Meskipun menghadapi tantangan, Muhammadiyah terus beradaptasi dan melakukan refleksi diri untuk menjalankan perannya sebagai agen perubahan sosial dan keagamaan yang penting dalam masyarakat.

Abstract

Gender discourse in Islam has tended to focus on women's issues, while comprehensive analysis of men's roles and responsibilities is still limited. This study aims to examine how men's roles are constructed, interpreted, and transformed in the context of contemporary Islamic society. The research methodology uses textual analysis of primary Islamic sources, as well as a literature review of current research on gender and Islam. The results of the study indicate that Islam establishes the position of men based on the principle of spiritual equality with women, but provides a special role in family and community leadership. The concept of male qawwamah (leadership) in the family is interpreted not as patriarchal domination, but as a mandate that demands material and spiritual responsibility. In the public sphere, men have a strategic role in political, social, and religious leadership with the principles of deliberation and justice. Contemporary social transformations, including urbanization and increasing participation of women in education and the economy, according to a more flexible reinterpretation of gender roles without sacrificing fundamental Islamic values. This study recommends the development of further interdisciplinary studies on gender dynamics in contemporary Muslim societies to support the creation of a gender-just society based on Islamic values.

Abstract

Background. In the global context, understanding the holy texts of the Qur'an and the application of Islamic law face increasingly complex challenges, especially related to language qaedah, tafsir qaedah, and ushul fiqh. Purpose. This research aims to explore the relationship between linguistic qaedah, tafsir qaedah, and ushul fiqh, as well as identifying effective strategies for applying these three aspects in the context of modern life. Method. This study uses a qualitative method with a literature study approach through analysis of relevant literature related to interpretation and ushul fiqh. Results. The results of the study show that language rules play an important role in determining the meaning and context of the verses of the Qur'an, which then influences the process of interpretation and legal decision-making in ushul fiqh. Conclusion. the application of the principles of maqashid al-syari'ah and qawaid fiqhiyyah in interpretation can enrich understanding and increase the relevance of Islamic law in the modern era.
