Abstract

Occupational Safety and Health (K3) is crucial for companies with high risks of workplace accidents, particularly those involved in construction work. However, many workplace accidents still occur due to inadequate implementation of the Occupational Safety and Health Management System (SMK3). This situation may be influenced by several contributing factors. A comprehensive literature review of previous studies was conducted to identify the factors contributing to the poor implementation of SMK3 in construction companies. The findings suggest that the key factors include compliance with legal regulations, commitment to K3 policies, human and environmental factors, financial constraints, and government support. Based on these findings, a study on the implementation of the Occupational Safety and Health Management System (SMK3) in construction companies in Manado is necessary

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Net Performing Financing (NPF), Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR), Inflation, and BI Rate on Return on Assets (ROA) in Islamic commercial banks in Indonesia, with company size as a moderating variable. The research method used is a descriptive study with a quantitative approach. The research data is panel data covering the period 2019 to 2023, which is obtained from the annual reports of Islamic banks and Bank Indonesia. The data analysis technique involves multiple regression analysis with the Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) approach to evaluate the moderating role of company size. Testing was carried out using Microsoft Excel 2019 and Eviews 12 programs. The results of the study indicate that NPF and FDR have a significant effect on the ROA of Islamic commercial banks in Indonesia. Conversely, Inflation and BI Rate do not show a significant effect on ROA. In addition, company size is proven to significantly moderate the effect of NPF and FDR on ROA but is not significant in moderating the effect of Inflation and BI Rate on ROA. These findings provide insight into the importance of risk management and liquidity management in increasing the profitability of Islamic commercial banks in Indonesia

Abstract

Creative thinking is crucial in aviation vocational education to tackle dynamic industry challenges, but it is often hindered by overly structured educational approaches. This study evaluates the impact of learning methods and class levels on creative thinking enhancement, aiming to improve learning effectiveness in vocational education. Conducted at the Surabaya Aviation Polytechnic with a sample of 144 students selected through multiple-stage random Sampling, data analysis was performed using 2x3 Factorial ANOVA. The results reveal that Problem-Based Learning (PBL) is significantly more effective in enhancing creative thinking compared to conventional methods in aviation vocational education. Class levels (Semester I, II, III) do not significantly influence creative thinking improvement, indicating that longer learning experiences do not automatically boost creativity. Furthermore, no significant interaction was found between learning

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explain the independent variables, namely financial distress, audit committee, audit quality, and leverage, to analyze their influence on the dependent variable, namely voluntary disclosure. The data analysis method in this study uses the regression analysis method, whose calculations use SPSS version 26. This study uses multiple linear regression because the independent variables used are more than one variable. The multiple regression analysis method used in this study includes descriptive statistics, classical assumption tests, hypothesis testing, and statistical tests. From the simultaneous test results, an F value of 19.455 is obtained, which is positive, and the significance test result of 0.000 is smaller than 0.05. Thus, financial distress, audit committee, audit quality, and leverage simultaneously affect voluntary disclosure. From the partial test obtained, the four independent variables, namely financial distress, audit committee, audit quality, and leverage, partially have an influence on voluntary disclosure.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of perceived benefits and perceived risks on the interest in using online loans with ease of use as a moderating variable on IBM ASMI Jakarta Students. The population and sample of this study were selected from a saturated sample of 100 people. The analysis was carried out using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method based on Partial Least Squares (PLS) 4.0. The results of the analysis show that perceived benefits have a positive effect on the interest in using SPayLater IBM ASMI Jakarta Students. The calculation results show that perceived benefits are proven to have a positive effect on interest in using. The T-statistic score of perceived benefits is 1.728, greater than 1.64. Perceived risk has a negative effect on interest in using SPayLater IBM ASMI Jakarta Students. The calculation results show that perceived risk has a negative effect on interest in using. The T-statistic score of perceived benefits is -0.202, less than 1.64. The variables ease of use and perceived benefits on interest in using SPayLater IBM ASMI Jakarta Students are significantly positive. This means that the ease of using SPayLater IBM ASMI Jakarta Students. On the other hand, the variable of risk perception towards the interest in using SPayLater of IBM Jakarta students is negative and not significant. This means that the ease of use factor cannot moderate the influence of risk perception on interest in using

Abstract

The aim of this research is to ascertain and evaluate the relative and concurrent impact of pricing, discount, and cashback on people's decisions to buy on e-commerce sites like Shopee. This study used a quantitative methodology, with 100 samples of Shopee e-commerce consumers from the community of Jl.Kp.Beting Jaya Rt.08/18 as the population. The dissemination of the Google Form questionnaire and a literature review are used in the data collection procedure. The author employs the Nonprobability Sampling Method, specifically the Convenience and Snowball sampling techniques, for sampling. The validity test, reliability test, hypothesis test, determination coefficient test, multiple linear regression analysis, F test, and test are the analyses that were employed in this investigation. Based on the T and F tests, the study's findings indicate that price, discount, and cashback together significantly impact e-commerce Shopee consumers' purchase decisions; the computed f value (43.210)> f table (3.091) and sig (0.001) <0.05 support this conclusion. H0 was rejected and Ha was allowed based on the computed T value of (5.720) H1 (3.844) H2 (3.629) H3 > t table (1.985) and sig 0.001 < 0.05

Abstract

This study aims to increase the production and promotion of Cocomesh and Cocofiber products through innovation at the Center for Technology Excellence (PUT) of the Manado State Polytechnic. The focus of the study is on strategies for developing more efficient production and more effective promotion, considering the challenges faced by the local coconut fiber industry in terms of production process efficiency and product promotion appeal. This study uses the SWOT analysis method to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats, and involves data collection through interviews, field observations, and distributing questionnaires to consumers and business partners. The results of the study indicate that the application of innovative technology can increase the efficiency of Cocomesh and Cocofiber production, although existing promotional strategies still need strengthening, especially in the use of digital media. Collaboration with local industries and empowerment of coconut farmers have a positive impact on the scarcity of raw materials and the economic growth of the surrounding community. This study also contributes to the development of a national innovation system through collaboration between educational institutions and industry. It is hoped that through more innovative strategies and stronger promotions, Cocomesh and Cocofiber products can compete nationally and internationally, while providing significant social, economic, and environmental benefits
