Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Neighborhood Police (Polisi RW) policy in efforts to improve public security and order. The research method employed is descriptive analysis with a qualitative approach, involving data collection through interviews, observations, and document review. The findings show that the implementation stages, including planning, socialization, execution, monitoring, evaluation, and development, have had a positive impact, such as increased public awareness, active participation, and more efficient coordination in handling security issues. Another finding reveals that the Prototype model is more relevant than the Incremental model for the Neighborhood Police program, as it allows for rapid feedback and continuous improvement. This study recommends that Regional and City or Regency Police Departments adopt a Prototype-based approach and enhance community involvement in the program to achieve more effective security objectives.

Abstract

This study explores the role of multicultural values in strengthening students' nationalism at SMPN 1 Sleman. Through a qualitative descriptive approach using interviews, observations, and documentation, the research found that multicultural values—encompassing diversity, tolerance, and cultural appreciation—are integrated into classroom learning, daily activities, and the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5). These efforts foster attitudes of tolerance, mutual respect, and cultural appreciation, enhancing students' understanding of national identity and unity. By embracing cultural diversity, students develop strong, inclusive personalities, preparing them to face global challenges while maintaining a sense of nationalism.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of organizational commitment, remuneration, and work loyalty on employee performance at the North Labuhanbatu Regency Education Office. Using a quantitative method through a survey of 110 employees, the data was analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results of the study show that organizational commitment, remuneration, and work loyalty significantly affect employee performance. Job loyalty has the strongest influence compared to other variables. The determination coefficient (R²) of 67.8% shows that these three variables explain most of the variations in employee performance. These findings underscore the importance of increasing job loyalty, a fair remuneration system, and organizational commitment to improving employee performance in the public sector.

Abstract

Curcumin, known for its anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, anticarcinogenic, and antioxidant properties, faces challenges due to poor water solubility and low bioavailability as a BCS class II compound. The study investigates using a self-nanoemulsifying drug delivery system (SNEDDS) to enhance these properties, optimizing the formulation with the D-Optimal Mixture Design method. Sixteen formulas were prepared using oleic acid, Tween 80, and PEG 400. Each formula was characterized by particle size, % transmittance, emulsification time, and drug loading. The optimized formula, containing 10% oleic acid, 70% Tween 80, and 20% PEG 400, achieved a particle size of 80.167 nm, an emulsification time of 39.36 seconds, near 100% transmittance, and high drug loading.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of good corporate governance elements on risk management disclosure in telecommunications companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2019 to 2022. This study applies quantitative methods with panel data regression analysis using the fixed effects model (FEM). The results show that the size of the board of commissioners has a significantly negative impact on risk disclosure, while the size of the audit committee and company size have a significantly positive impact. In contrast, the proportion of independent commissioners and institutional ownership did not have a significant effect. The findings findings provide recommendations to improve good corporate governance practices and risk management in telecommunication companies.
