Abstract

This research aimed to explore how motivation and work discipline impact the productivity of employees at PT. Bangkit Maju Bersama, analyzing both individual and combined effects. An associative research design was employed, utilizing random sampling to select a group of 50 respondents. The data were examined through various statistical methods, including validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, regression analysis, correlation analysis, determination coefficient analysis, and hypothesis testing. The findings revealed that motivation significantly influences employee productivity, accounting for 51.4% of the variability in performance outcomes. Similarly, work discipline was found to have a notable impact, explaining 42.6% of the productivity variance. When considering both factors together, they accounted for 62% of the total effect on employee productivity, highlighting a substantial interactive influence. These results underscore the critical roles that both motivation and work discipline play in enhancing work productivity. The implication of this study suggests that organizations must prioritize fostering a motivating work environment alongside reinforcing disciplined work practices. This dual focus not only boosts employee morale but also enhances compliance with organizational standards, ultimately leading to greater productivity. Hence, effective management strategies should be developed to enhance motivational levels and establish clear disciplinary guidelines, as these elements are essential for achieving optimal performance within the workforce.

Abstract

In the era of globalization, creativity is crucial for maintaining and enhancing an organization's competitive advantage, particularly for small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) facing global competition. Organizational creativity, which stems from individual contributions and collaborative processes, leads to innovation. To foster creativity, factors such as rewards and knowledge sharing among employees play a significant role. This research aims to further explore the influence between rewards, knowledge sharing, and creativity, as well as testing the role of knowledge sharing as a mediator variable in this modeling. By better understanding these dynamics, it is hoped that organizations can design more effective reward and knowledge sharing strategies to increase innovation and competitiveness in an increasingly competitive market. This research was conducted at one of the tourism and creative economy associations in Province X, in Indonesia. The researcher chose this research object because the association that is the object of this research is a province X program which is designed to support the potential and progress of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs). The focus of this research is on Small and Medium Enterprises in one of the associations supported by the Department of Tourism and Creative Economy (Parekraf) Province X. The urgency of this research is because the literature related to the study of organizational behavior, especially organizational creativity literature, is still very minimal. The literature reveals more stages that refer more to organizational innovation than organizational creativity. Even though organizational creativity is an important part of forming innovation in an organization. This research offers novelty from a scientific and practical perspective. From a scientific perspective, this research fills the void/gap in previous research literature which is still very minimal. Apart from that, practically this research reveals theoretical studies related to organizational creativity when seen directly in the creative industry. This research uses structural equation modeling to answer the research results. The research results support the research theory, that there is a significant positive influence between rewards, knowledge sharing and organizational creativity.

Abstract

The Effect of Firm Size, Profitability and Leverage on Dividend Policy in Banking Sector Companies Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2019-2022 Period. The populations used in this study were all Banking Sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2019-2022. In the meantime, the samples, which were 12 baking companies, were determined through purposive sampling. The data collection technique in this study used the documentation technique, namely searching for financial statement data published by the company from 2019 to 2022. Then, the analysis test used in testing this study was multiple linear regression analysis. The study findings revealed that the firm size ratio affected dividend policy partially, indicating that the increasing firm size would increase the dividends distributed. Subsequently, the profitability ratio did not possess a partial effect on dividend policy because the company prioritized the sources of funds obtained to finance the company's growth rather than distributing dividends. Lastly, the leverage ratio also did not possess a partial effect on dividend policy. Meanwhile, simultaneously, firm size, profitability, and leverage affected dividend policy with a determination coefficient of 19.4%, while the remaining 70.6% was affected by other variables not examined in this study.

Abstract

This study discusses the importance of analyzing the quality of question items as an evaluation step in education to ensure the accuracy of student learning outcome assessment. The focus of this research is on the subject of Tax Administration class XI majoring in Accounting at SMKN 4 Surabaya, using Anates software version 4. The method used was descriptive quantitative with 25 students and 15 HOT-based multiple-choice questions. The analysis includes reliability, validity, discriminating power, level of difficulty, and quality of the trickster. Reliability measures the consistency of test results, while validity indicates the extent to which the question is in accordance with the learning objectives. The ability to discriminate assesses the ability of questions in grouping high- and low-ability students, while the level of difficulty reflects the proportion of students who are able to answer correctly. Good quality of tricksters contributes to the discriminating power and difficulty level of the questions. The results of this study emphasize the importance of quality evaluation instruments to improve learning effectiveness, with the support of technology such as Anates to facilitate problem analysis.
