Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the impact of hospital image and service quality on patient satisfaction and its effect on patient loyalty at Lampung Eye Center Hospital. The approach used in this study is a quantitative method with survey techniques. Data was collected through questionnaires distributed to the hospital's patients. The results reveal that both hospital image and service quality have a positive and significant effect on patient satisfaction, both individually and simultaneously. Furthermore, it was found that patient satisfaction significantly affects patient loyalty. Meanwhile, the direct effect of hospital image on patient loyalty was not significant, whereas service quality has a positive and significant direct effect on patient loyalty. Overall, hospital image, service quality, and patient satisfaction contribute positively to patient loyalty. Therefore, this study recommends that the hospital continues to strengthen its positive image, improve service quality, and prioritize patient satisfaction to ensure sustained loyalty.

Abstract

This research focuses on discussing financial factors as measured by financial ratios because they can provide an overview of company performance. The problem that will be answered in this research is to prove whether financial performance as an independent variable is represented by the ratios: Current Ratio (CR), Return on Equity (ROE), Debt Equity Ratio (DER), Net Profit Margin (NPM) and Earning per Share (EPS) simultaneously or partially has an influence on the dividend payment ratio (DPR) in Food and Beverage companies that go public and to prove which ratio is the most dominant. This study uses a quantitative approach 15 companies which are manufacturing companies in the Consumer Non-Cyclical sector, F&B sub-sector on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) during the 2020 - 2022 period using the census method. Multiple Regression Analysis is used to test all variables, both simultaneously and partially. The analysis results show that simultaneously Current Ratio, Return on Equity, Debt Equity Ratio, Net Profit Margin and Earning per Share have a significant influence on the Dividend Payout Ratio. Based on these correlation results, it can be concluded that CR, ROE, DER, NPM and EPS are able to explain the diversity of DPR amounting to 64.7%. Meanwhile, partially only ROE, DER and NPM have a significant influence on the Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR). And the variable that has a dominant influence on the Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR) is Return on Equity (ROE) with a correlation value of 0.718 (R2 = 0718).

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) examine the simultaneous significant effect of tax planning, tax avoidance, and prudence accounting on the value of insurance companies; (2) analyze the partial significant effect of tax planning on the value of insurance companies; (3) assess the partial significant effect of tax avoidance on the value of insurance companies; and (4) investigate the partial significant effect of prudence accounting on the value of insurance companies. This research employs a quantitative approach with an associative research design. The sample is selected using a purposive sampling technique. Secondary data is obtained from the official website of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The study utilizes panel data regression analysis, conducted using EViews 12 software. The findings indicate that: (1) tax planning, tax avoidance, and prudence accounting collectively have a significant positive effect on the value of insurance companies; (2) tax planning, when examined individually, does not have a significant effect on the value of insurance companies; (3) tax avoidance, when considered separately, has a significant positive effect on the value of insurance companies; and (4) prudence accounting, when analyzed in isolation, has a significant negative effect on the value of insurance companies.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of motivation and work discipline on employee performance and identify indicators that influence these variables at the Mitra Jenggala Sejahtera Multi-Party Service Cooperative, Ketenger Village. The independent variables in this study are motivation and work discipline, while the dependent variable is employee performance. This study uses a census technique, where the entire population consisting of 66 cooperative employees is sampled. Data analysis was carried out using multiple linear regression, which includes the t-test and F-test. Previously, the data were tested with validity, reliability, descriptive statistics, and classical assumption tests, which include multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity, and normality tests. Data processing was carried out with the help of the SPSS program. The results of the study indicate that motivation has a significant influence on employee performance. Likewise, work discipline has also been shown to have a significant effect on employee performance. These findings indicate that increasing motivation and work discipline can increase employee productivity and performance at the Mitra Jenggala Sejahtera Multi-Party Service Cooperative.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of the marketing mix on marketing performance through competitive advantage in the context of cigarette products, specifically the Andalan brand. The research was conducted at PT Bintang Sayap Utama, a subsidiary of Gudang Baru Group, located in Kepanjen, Malang. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected from 100 marketing staff selected through simple random sampling. The data were analyzed using statistical methods with the assistance of SPSS software. The research findings indicate that the marketing mix has a significant effect on both marketing performance and competitive advantage. Furthermore, competitive advantage was also found to have a positive effect on marketing performance. However, the indirect effect of the marketing mixon marketing performance through competitive advantage was not statistically significant. This suggests that while competitive advantage enhances marketing outcomes, it does not mediate the relationship between the marketing mix and marketing performance in this case. The study contributes to the literature by highlighting the direct role of marketing mix elements product, price, place, and promotion in enhancing marketing performance in the tobacco manufacturing industry. The results provide valuable insights for companies in highly competitive markets to focus on optimizing their marketing strategies to directly improve performance outcomes.

Abstract

This study analyzes the effect of service quality and communication on employee performance at PT. Stars Yudhatama Indonesia. Using a quantitative descriptive design with a sample of 69 respondents from a population of 218 employees, this study found that service quality and communication have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. The results of the validity and reliability tests show that the research instrument meets methodological standards. Correlation and regression analysis show that service quality contributes 78.8% and communication 82.1%, while simultaneously both contribute 89.7% to employee performance. The regression equation Y = 6.406 + 0.459X₁ + 0.661X₂ indicates that communication has a more dominant influence than service quality. These findings provide an empirical basis for developing strategies to improve employee performance through optimizing service quality and improving communication patterns in the context of digital transformation of work processes and human resource management.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors influencing the income of street vendors selling pecel lele in Samarinda City, with sales volume as an intervening variable. A quantitative approach was applied through a survey of 38 vendors, representing the total population. The variables analyzed include capital, labor, business duration, working hours, selling price, sales volume, and income. Path analysis results show that labor and business duration have a positive and significant effect on sales volume, while working hours have a negative effect. Capital and price do not significantly affect sales. Furthermore, sales volume significantly affects income. However, Sobel test results indicate that sales volume does not significantly mediate the relationship between independent variables and income. These findings suggest that income improvement is more effectively achieved by strengthening labor productivity and increasing business experience rather than relying solely on longer working hours or larger capital. This study contributes to the understanding of informal economic dynamics, particularly in micro-culinary enterprises, and provides a reference for policy formulation in micro-business development.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of Work Life Balance and Work Environment on Employee Performance at the Population and Civil Registration Office of Makassar City. The type of research used is quantitative research. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, questionnaires, and documentation. The population in this study consisted of 54 individuals, and the sampling technique used was the saturated sample method. The data sources used consisted of primary and secondary data. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS version 25. The results of the study indicate that: Work Life Balance (X1) has a positive but not significant effect on employee performance at the Population and Civil Registration Office of Makassar City, with a variable coefficient of 0.225 and a significance value of 0.061, which is greater than 0.05 (0.061 > 0.05). Meanwhile, the Work Environment (X2) has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the same office, with a variable coefficient of 0.358 and a significance value of 0.032, which is less than 0.05 (0.032 < 0.05).

Abstract

This study investigates the implementation of the Genesys application as an integrated system in the property business sector, focusing on two companies with distinct organizational types: PT WR (a state-owned enterprise) and PT PI (a private company). Employing a qualitative method with an ethnographic approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, life histories, and document analysis. The study examines the reasons behind the system transition, the duration and process of implementation, the obstacles encountered, and the users’ experiences. Results indicate that PT WR completed implementation within six months, while PT PI required 14 months due to assumptions about standardized needs and internal adaptation delays. Challenges included system migration, lack of customization, and limited familiarity among certain departments, such as tenant relations and accounting. Management responses differed: PT WR initially switched to another system (Propertex) before returning to Genesys, while PT PI opted for continuous training and system adjustments in collaboration with the Genesys team. Ultimately, both companies experienced improvements in financial reporting, bank reconciliation, automated billing, tax invoice processing, and communication with tenants. This study underscores the role of management involvement, organizational readiness, and technical support in successful system integration. The ethnographic approach enriches the analysis by capturing behavioral and cultural dynamics throughout the digital transformation process.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a crucial role in Indonesia’s economy. One example is Kampung Lontong in Surabaya, known as a center for traditional rice cake (lontong) production. However, the area faces several challenges, including limited digital marketing, inefficient traditional production methods, and unstable raw material supply. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach through field observations and interviews with business owners, combined with SWOT analysis and the Internal-External (IE) matrix. The analysis reveals that Kampung Lontong’s strengths lie in its product quality, production capacity, and strategic location. Opportunities arise from strong market demand and the growth of culinary tourism. A Strength–Opportunity (SO) strategy is recommended to capitalize on these advantages. According to the IE matrix, Kampung Lontong is positioned in Quadrant V (Hold and Maintain), indicating the need to stabilize operations while gradually improving production efficiency and digital marketing efforts. This strategy aims to ensure sustainable growth while preserving the traditional identity that makes Kampung Lontong unique and attractive to both local and visiting consumers.
