Abstract

The Defense Industry is a central element in maintaining national security, requiring the alignment of military personnel with the sophistication of the main weapons system (alutsista). This article examines the crucial dynamics that tie individual skills in the military to the effective use of advanced defense equipment. The focus is on the evolution of military technology and the need to develop personnel skills in response to these advances. The Defense Industry is the backbone of national security, which requires synergy between the skills of military personnel and the sophistication of the main weapons system (alutsista). This article discusses the crucial link between individual skills in the military and the successful use of advanced defense equipment. Furthermore, the article explains the latest military technological innovations that influence the development of progress and the need for appropriate personnel skill development. By integrating sports skills as a promotional instrument, the article discusses the role of international military tournaments as a vehicle for strengthening the defense industry's image. Active involvement in agility sports not only creates national pride but also stimulates positive coverage in the media, providing a significant boost to the promotion of the defense industry. A wise marketing approach is needed to exploit the appeal of agility sports to educate and captivate the global market. Targeted marketing strategies can utilize agility sports as a tool to promote the defense industry, create emotional ties with the community, and, no less important, increase state revenues through increasing exports of defense equipment. This article also covers effective marketing approaches to maximize the benefits of agility sports involvement in increasing the appeal of the defense industry globally. By detailing case studies of countries that have successfully implemented this strategy, this article concludes that the integration of skills, advanced defense equipment, and promotion of agility sports is a holistic approach that has the potential to advance the defense industry, create national pride, and generate significant revenue increases for the country.

Abstract

Infiltration wells are wells or holes located on the surface of the ground. The rapid urban development has led to a decreasing area of rainwater infiltration, as the increasing coverage of buildings reduces the open space and results in longer accumulation times for water, potentially causing flood disasters. Aside from flooding issues, the availability of groundwater is crucial for the areas where rainwater infiltration occurs. If groundwater decreases, the supply of groundwater will be affected, impacting communities whose clean water needs depend on groundwater in their region. The research method used in this study is an internet-based literature review. Downloaded articles are then imported into Nvivo 12 Plus software. The data is examined and analyzed to draw conclusions. Based on the analysis of the five articles, the author concludes that infiltration wells are effective in reducing disaster risks. Additionally, infiltration wells can be used as a substitute for groundwater and enable communities to adapt to climate change. Efforts from all layers of society are essential to create infiltration wells in their respective areas because infiltration wells are not meaningful if only a few communities implement them.

Abstract

Indonesia has an incredible diversity of natural resources and is one of the largest countries in the Asian region and even in the world. These natural resources can boost the local economy through tourism and various businesses. Therefore, to increase regional economic growth through the development of tourism potential, it is necessary to make careful plans and strategies. The purpose of this study is to determine methods that can be used to increase regional economic growth through the development of tourism potential. This study used a qualitative description approach. The goal is to provide an accurate picture of a particular characteristic, situation, symptom, or group of individuals, or to identify the frequency or distribution of symptoms. In military science, the strategic concept of "ends, ways, and means" developed by Arthur F. Lykke Jr. can be used to increase tourism potential. This concept explains that the existence of the tourism sector must include three objectives of this strategy: 1) Ends, which is a strategic concept centered on the ultimate goal of a tourism management strategy; 2) Means, which are methods or approaches used to achieve goals; and 3) Means, which is By implementing this idea, it is hoped that regional tourism growth can generate prosperity and economic independence, as well as a significant contribution to regional and national income.

Abstract

Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 11 of 2021 amending Law Number 16 of 2004 concerning the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Indonesia, stipulates the authority of the Prosecutor's Office in the field of Civil and State Administration (DATUN). In this context, the State Attorney (JPN) plays an important role in ensuring legal certainty, justice and expediency in DATUN cases. This article explores the legal function of JPN and its relevance to the study of legal philosophy. This article is based on normative juridical research to show that the JPN has a significant legal function in creating legal certainty in administrative law cases. The JPN's authority is supported by regulations such as the Prosecutor's Law and the Attorney General's Regulation which emphasize the vital role of the Prosecutor's Office in ensuring legal certainty globally, both inside and outside the Court, on behalf of the State or the Government.

Abstract

Economic diplomacy strategies are very important in establishing cooperation aimed at improving national economic development. Currently, food has become a commodity that is needed by every country to meet its country's needs. This can be maximized by Indonesia to compete globally to improve the quality of national food where Indonesia is a country that has abundant natural resources. The existence of global national food competitiveness helps economic growth so that it can improve people's welfare and make Indonesia golden in 2045. This research uses Economic Diplomacy Theory according to Kishan S. Rana (2007) divides the typology of economic diplomacy into four types, namely traditional, niche-focused, evolving, and innovative. The research aims to explain Indonesia's economic diplomacy strategy in increasing national food that is globally competitive to realize golden Indonesia 2045. The research uses a literature study method that involves analysis of relevant written sources. The results achieved show that economic diplomacy strategies are very important in improving national food that is globally competitive with careful and intelligent government policies in facing challenges and preparation in improving the quality of national food.

Abstract

Receivables are the right to collect debts, a means of fulfilling civil obligations, a continuation of the credit agreement contract that must be held. The principle of Pacta Sunt Servanda as the foundation of giving direction, purpose, and fundamental value and ethical judgement to debts with property collateral with a time limit determined by the parties. However, the need for money when the receivables are not yet due encourages the receivables to be transferred into cessie, doctrinally the holder of the eigendom right has the power to eigenaar freely and to act freely on the property with full sovereignty, even so, the problem arises with the submission following the formal rules of cessie raises legal consequences, if without being notified, or in writing has been acknowledged and approved. This article questions whether the submission of receivables in the form of a unilateral legal action through cessie reflects the value of pacta sunt servanda which provides equality and justice for the parties? By applying a normative juridical research method based on a statutory approach, a legal conceptual approach, and a case approach, it strengthens the results prescriptively analytically, related to cessie which is worth justice being a hope for the business world, preventing potential legal uncertainty, avoiding potential disputes over the implementation of the transfer of receivables, preventing economic losses, by internalising the value of legal certainty and justice.  The value of pacta sunt servanda in this case relates to the equal position between the creditor and the debtor, this aspect also emphasises the guarantee of human rights for the parties to the agreement, as well as legal certainty and predictability in the process of fulfilling the provisions of the rights and obligations of the agreement agreed by the parties

Abstract

Most countries in the world are haunted by 2023 economic recession. Indonesia economic growth also slowed to 5,40% in 2022. This issue threatens some sectors, especially financial. This study's purpose is to see the bank subsector companies’ financial performance listed on the IDX from 2020 until 2022. Since banks require debt capital to run their operations, The stock price is the dependent variable in this research, yet the independent variables are DER and ROE, and earnings per share is the moderation. The data is processed using STATA and panel data regression analysis through the Random Effect Model. The research result shows that if DER partially increases, the stock price does not increase significantly. Meanwhile, if ROE partially increases, so does the stock price. Share prices will follow an increase in ROE and DER simultaneously, but after being moderated by EPS, an increase in DER will be followed significantly by stock value. However, an increase in ROE moderated by EPS is not necessarily followed by an increase in share price, while an increase in DER and ROE after being moderated by EPS will have effect on share value.

Abstract

Human dependence on natural resources, especially in the Blue Economy sector or marine ecosystems, has led to a dominant role in ecosystem management. The El Niño phenomenon is a serious challenge that can disrupt marine ecosystems and sustainable economies. This effort aims to reduce the negative impact of El Nino on marine ecosystems, by recycling the economy from wastes in the sea. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach to reduce the negative impact of El Niño on marine ecosystems through recycling of marine waste, creating a sustainable solution for economic growth and environmental sustainability. SWOT analysis and complex systems theory highlighted several potential strategies to stabilize the marine ecosystem, address the threat of El Niño, and boost the economy. The implementation of these strategies has a positive impact on the sustainability of the marine ecosystem and sustainable economic growth.

Abstract

The arms race between the United States and the Soviet Union (Russia) during the Cold War had a significant impact on the economic growth of both superpowers. This study examines how the allocation of vast resources for military purposes and threats affected other sectors of the economy. By analyzing historical data on military spending, industrial production, investment, and GDP. The research found that the arms race puts huge pressure on the state budget and creates a trade-off between military spending and investment in productive sectors, which ultimately hampers long-term economic growth in both countries. This study uses secondary data such as journal books, reports from Publish or Perish, Google Scholar, related and relevant websites regarding the arms race and its impact on economic growth through the library research method. The data collection technique used is data triangulation. The purpose of this research is to analyze the impact of the arms race between the US and Russia on the economic growth of both countries. Therefore, it is expected to provide insight and reference for the government in formulating policies regarding the arms race carried out by other countries. The results of this study found the negative impact of the arms race and the importance of placing resources wisely for sustainable economic growth. The impact of the United States and Russia's arms race can hamper long-term economic growth and welfare levels in both countries. Therefore, diplomacy of international cooperation and de-escalation of tensions are necessary to avoid an arms race due to uncontrolled increase in military spending

This narrative provides a comprehensive analysis of the economic, political, and diplomatic factors influencing defense strategy formulation within the BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa) context. Drawing on a wide range of sources, the narrative explores the historical evolution and recent shifts in BRICS defense strategies, highlighting the diverse approaches of member nations. The research adopts a qualitative descriptive approach, systematically gathering secondary data from academic journals, governmental reports, and reputable websites. The analysis focuses on the interplay between economic conditions, political dynamics, and defense strategy formulation in BRICS nations, providing nuanced insights into how these factors shape defense policies. It examines the influence of economic dependency on defense policies, emphasizing the role of economic stability in sustaining robust defense capabilities. Additionally, the narrative delves into the impact of political systems and leadership dynamics on defense strategy formulation, as well as the significance of diplomatic relations and security considerations. The findings underscore the complex interplay between economic, political, and defense factors within the BRICS framework, with implications for regional stability and resilience. The study finds that economic dependency is a pivotal factor in shaping BRICS defense strategies, with economic stability underpinning the capacity for robust defense capabilities. Political systems and leadership dynamics also play a crucial role, with centralized systems facilitating assertiveness and democratic frameworks emphasizing consensus-building. Diplomatic relations and security cooperation are integral to these strategies, highlighting the importance of strategic collaboration in addressing shared security challenges. The expansion of BRICS introduces new dynamics, particularly in energy investment and trade, requiring adaptive strategies to maintain stability and resilience. Finally, the narrative suggests future research directions to further explore these dynamics and enrich our understanding of BRICS defense strategies in the evolving global security landscape.
