Abstract

This article discusses the concept of safar in the perspective of Islamic psychology which has not been widely studied scientifically. Safar is usually more interpreted as a mere physical journey, without any attempt to cultivate psychological values cum spiritual. For this reason, the author explores safar based on the sufi point of view of Imam Al-Ghazali. The method in this research uses two approaches: literature study written by Imam al-Ghazali and empirical data mining by interviewing doctoral students of Islamic psychology study program at Muhammadiyah University of Yogyakarta. Some of the findings in this research include: safar is very beneficial for the psyche of a person who is a traveler, even when the traveler is experiencing obstacles in his safar.

Abstract

This research discusses the characters characterized by dark triad personality in a television series entitled Layangan Putus. This drama series was inspired by a true story of a woman that went viral on social media. The story went viral because it featured a story of infidelity in marital life. Dark triad personality is the side of human personality that appears and is visible to others and cannot be directly known. The structure of the characters in this series consists of machiavellianism, narcissism and psychopathy; three traits that exist in the dark triad personality. These three characters are what attracted the author to research. The author summarizes the figures and characters in this drama story as individuals who care less about interpersonal relationships, often neglecting morals, norms and ethics. To limit the perspective in analyzing the case, we discuss it from the point of view of personality psychology and Sufism psychology. This research uses a qualitative method by analyzing the content of the story. Processing and extracting data using observation and documentation techniques. Some of the findings that we found include: The side of human personality that appears and is seen by others cannot be directly known; Nafs is not present in the visible form, but comes from the results of the interaction process between the spirit and the human self.

Abstract

Islamic socialization is an interaction between one Muslim and another Muslim in daily life in accordance with Islamic values and teachings implemented in various fields, one of which is socialization in educational institutions. In the educational environment, religious values and teachings are usually used as a reference in making rules that are enforced; the hope is that it can be a motivation to always behave well in everyday life. This research discusses the extent of the influence of Islamic socialization on the formation of the religious personality of adolescents at the Al-Ishlah Bobos Cirebon Islamic Boarding School. The purpose of this study is to determine the true meaning of Islamic association and prove the extent of the influence of Islamic association on the formation of a religious personality. The population in this study was 113 students. The researchers took a sample of 43%, so the overall sample was 48 students of Al-Ishlah Islamic Boarding School. the research method uses a quantitative type with a correlation approach based on data obtained in the field with data collection through distributing questionnaires, observation, and documentation. Data analysis using the help of SPSS version 17.0. This study got an effective contribution R2 = 0.22 which shows that 22% of religious personality variables are influenced by Islamic association.

Abstract

Morals are a very important foundation in the formation of human character. Morals can determine the quality of human values, not only for themselves but also for the people around them. The essence of Islam is also morals that can determine the quality of the relationship between a servant and his Lord, between a person and himself, between him and others, and between society and its environment. If all relationships are good, good morals will be created. But along with the times and globalization (advances in technology and science) greatly affect all aspects of human life, including morals. That is why this research discusses the importance of Sufism morals that are applied in Islamic educational institution, namely at the Al-Inaaroh Darul Fikri Islamic Boarding School in Buntet, Cirebon, West Java. This research uses qualitative research. In the data collection techniques used are interviews, observation, and documentation with a sociological approach. The results showed that the application of the value of Sufism morals in the rules of the Islamic boarding school on the social life of students (santri) in this pesantren is very influential. With strict sanctions and the practice of morals carried out together, the lives of the students gradually improved; no longer violating the rules of the Islamic boarding school. The ethics of the students when interacting with the surrounding community began to look better.

Abstract

Pertunjukan Wayang Kulit Cirebon merupakan salah satu bentuk tradisi lisan yang termasuk dalam drama rakyat. Sebelum tahun 2000-an, pertunjukan wayang kulit Cirebon memasuki masa keemasan, mengalami penurunan pada tahun 2000-an yang disebabkan oleh budaya baru yang masuk ke daerah Cirebon. Melihat dan menanggapi penurunan tersebut, penulis bertujuan untuk mengkaji peran katalisator dalam pertunjukan wayang kulit terhadap katalis sosial budaya di Cirebon. menggunakan metode penelitian dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Untuk itu, penelitian ini akan mencoba mengkonstruksi realitas peran katalisator dalam pertunjukan wayang kulit dan memahami maknanya dalam membawa katalis sosial budaya di Cirebon. Jadi memperhatikan proses, peristiwa dan keaslian. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah katalisator yang mendorong katalisasi sosial budaya melalui pertunjukan Wayang Kulit Cirebon yang tercermin di desa-desa atau daerah di Cirebon. Merupakan model katalis untuk mempertahankan nilai-nilai sosial budaya yang memiliki ciri khas tersendiri, artinya menjadi katalisator identitas masyarakat Cirebon dalam menjaga nilai sosial budaya.

Abstract

This article discusses the relation between the conception of patience and the issue of mental health in several verses of patience (QS. 2:45, QS. 2:153, and QS.:3) which are described in two treasures of interpretation: Tafsir At-Thabari and Tafsir Ar-Razi. The purpose of this research is to investigate the doctrine and teachings of patience as a knowledge base in supporting mental health theories spiritually, especially in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic. The method of investigation and discussion in research is more of a qualitative approach with the object of research being the Divine Word. A number of findings in this research review, among others: the unfolding of the doctrine and conception of patience holistically (exoteric and esoteric) as well as the foundation cum formulation of patient therapy in Islamic mental health discourses.

Abstract

This article explores the basic tenets of Mullā Ṣadrā's philosophical epistemology. The important value of this study is the critique of Western epistemology which ignores metaphysics as an approach and study in epistemology. Through this article, the author wants to show the unique characteristics of Mullā Ṣadrā's epistemological structure, which makes ontology the basis of epistemology. Mullā Ṣadrā makes the knowledge of presence (ilm huḍūrī) the basis for the validity of the truth of intuitive experience. Thus, intuitive experiences that are rejected by some can be justified. In addition, in this article, the author also describes several other unique discussions that distinguish Mulla Ṣadrā's thoughts from other philosophers, such as: the unique definition of knowledge, the relationship between the subject and object of knowledge and the link between the motion of substance (al-ḥarakah al-jauhariah) with knowledge.

Abstract

Banyak remaja menderita kecemasan diri karena trauma-trauma masa lalu yang dialaminya. Untuk itu, penerapan Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) sebagai salah satu terapi konseling dan psikoterapi sangat direkomendasikan guna menurunkan kecemasan pada remaja. Rumusan masalah penelitian ini adalah bagaimana Penerapan CBT untuk menurunkan kecemasan, dampak konseling CBT terhadap kecemasan remaja dan kendala yang dihadapi oleh konselor dalam menerapkan CBT kepada remaja yang mengalami kecemasan. Metode penelitiannya adalaah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif analisik. CBT Menurut Aaron T. Beck yaitu pendekatan konseling yang dirancang untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan konseli dengan cara melakukan restrukturisasi kognitif dan perilaku yang menyimpang denagn tujuan klien dapat mengurangi rasa cemas yang dirasakan. Hasil yang di dapat bahwa penerapan CBT dapat menurunkan kecemasan pada tiga remaja yang mengalami trauma. Penurunan kecemasan pada remaja trauma di PKBI terjadi pada sesi ke tiga dan empat. Sedangkan dampak yang dirasakan adalah remaja dapat mengatasi kecemasan karena adanya trauma di masa lalu.

Abstract

This research examines the impact of the online game Mobile Legend on the mental health of its players. This, once again, proves that technological products in excess will have an impact on a person's psychological development. This research was conducted in Munjul Village, Kedung Subur Block, Astanajapura District, Cirebon, West Java. The purpose of this study is to determine the extent to which the Mobile Legend online game has an impact on the mental health of adolescents in the village we studied. In addition, this research is also to analyze the influence of adolescents who are addicted to online games based on the perspective of psychology and Islamic teachings. This research used a qualitative method with description-analytical approach. Some of the findings we obtained include: teenagers who are addicted to Mobile Legend online games experience feelings of anxiety; spiritual worship does not seem to be sincere in its implementation.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the condition of mental health and emotional in adolescents in the city of Cirebon. This research uses a quantitative approach with descriptive analysis methods. Which will be held at Posyandu Remaja in Cirebon City in November-December 2023. The population in this study was 478 person of Cirebon City at Posyandu Remaja who were randomly taken. Data analysis uses univariate analysis to determine the frequency distribution and percentage of each variable in the study. The results showed that most respondents were in the normal range on the components of behavioral problems (62.1%), emotional problems (92.9%), peer problems (54.4%) and prosocial skills (83.5%), but there were also data that showed borderline and abnormal conditions. Respondents who had a level of behavioral problems in the borderline category were 98 people (20.5%) and abnormal as many as 83 people (17.4%), who had a level of emotional problems in the borderline category as many as 22 people (4.6%) and abnormal as many as 12 people (2.5%), who had peer problems in the borderline category as many as 147 people (30.8%) and abnormal as many as 71 people (14.9%), While the prosocial ability of adolescents in the borderline category was 53 people (11.1%) and abnormal as many as 26 people (5.4%). These findings show that although most adolescents are in the normal category, there are still adolescents who have a risk for mental health and emotional
