Abstract

Advertising posters are a complement to information in which there are short and clear words accompanied by signs, advertising posters with visual and verbal meanings that are created to attract the audience and give an impression to those who see it. To find out the meaning and the signs on the poster, one must study and pay more attention to it. Life buoy soap is a well-known soap for protection from all kinds of bacteria to protect all people. The purpose of this study was to find out the visual meaning, verbal meaning and signs on the advertising poster for life buoy soap "No. 1 Anti-Germic Soap in the World". The method used in this study as a tool to understand research is the semiotic method of Rolan Barthes, a study understand a marker or sign in a visual and verbal meaning accompanied by denotation and connotation. Abstract

This study aims to find out how communication apprehension is in the process of completing a thesis in communication science students at Mulawarman University class of 2016. This research is a type of qualitative descriptive research with a focus on Internal Discomfort, Avoidance of Communication, Communication Disruption, and Overcommunication. Based on the results of research that has been carried out, communication apprehension experienced by students in completing their thesis is an uncomfortable condition experienced by students and is not permanent, which arises when thinking, discussing or the process of doing the final thesis assignment. This happens because of the management of information and drawing conclusions that exist within oneself which creates a feeling of worry, nervousness and fear in individuals. The characteristics shown by someone when experiencing communication anxiety are different, from the results and discussion of this study 5 informants all experienced internal discomfort characteristics, 2 out of 5 informants showed avoidance of communication, 1 out of 5 informants showed communication disruption characteristics and 1 out of 5 informants showed over communication. Ways to overcome communication anxiety (communication apprehension), there are several ways to reduce communication anxiety. From the results and discussion of this study the way to reduce communication anxiety is to keep thinking positively, taking deep breaths to calm down, looking for diversions and also fighting the source of the anxiety itself.

Abstract

Abstract There are many media that are useful for conveying messages and information, one of which is the poster. Posters are works of art in the form of images or letters that intend to provide information and ensure that the message and information are correctly understood by the audience, including in promoting a movie. Promoting a movie that will be shown with a movie poster will undoubtedly help the movie become better known and serve as the identity of the production. This research aims to examine and interpret the meaning contained in the coco movie poster. By using descriptive qualitative research methods with semiotics from Roland Barthes to help examine the sign elements and visual elements on the poster. The research results of the semiotic analysis of this poster contain visual elements or images on the poster have denotation, connotation, and mythical meanings related to Mexican culture and visual elements in the poster also provide a little description of the storyline of this movie. Poster adalah karya seni berupa gambar atau huruf yang bermaksud memberikan informasi dan memastikan pesan dan informasi tersebut dipahami dengan benar oleh audiens termasuk dalam mempromosikan sebuah film. Mempromosikan sebuah film yang akan ditayangkan dengan poster film tidak diragukan lagi akan membantu film tersebut menjadi lebih dikenal dan berfungsi sebagai identitas produksi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji serta menafsirkan makna yang terkandung pada poster film coco. Dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dan semiotika dari Roland Barthes untuk membantu mengkaji unsur tanda dan unsur visual pada poster. Hasil penelitian dari analisis semiotika poster ini berisi mengenai unsur visual atau gambar yang ada di poster memiliki makna denotasi, konotasi, dan mitos yang berhubungan dengan kebudayaan masyarakat Meksiko dan unsur visual dalam poster juga memberikan sedikit gambaran mengenai alur cerita film ini. Abstract

This research was conducted to find out the meaning of the lyrics of the song Taragak Pulang Karya dira sati. This study uses qualitative methods with the theory of semiotic analysis of the Ferdinand de Saussure model. Data is obtained by grouping song lyrics into several stanzas and then looking for markers and signifieds in the song. This song contains an expression of the longing of a nomad who misses his hometown but this longing has not been paid off. as well as a message for migrants so they can be enthusiastic about making a living abroad and as a message for families left behind not to worry about the condition of their children who are far away overseas.

Abstract

Tidak dipungkiri bahwa fenomena judi online begitu cepat tersebar luas dan penggunanya semakin beragam, termasuk para mahasiswa. Kominfo juga melaporkan adanya konten judi online yang terjaring di internet. Total selama lima tahun terakhir terdapat delapan ratus ribu konten yang diblokir terkait judi online. Terungkap, per tanggal 21 September 2023, telah dilakukan pemblokiran sebanyak dua ratus satu ribu rekening bank dan hampir dua ribu rekening lainnya sedang diproses oleh OJK.Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode penelitian kualitatif. Penelitian kualitatif dimulai dengan menjelaskan metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian. Metode penelitian kualitatif digunakan untuk mendiskripsikan dan menganalisis fenomena, peristiwa, kepercayaan, sikap, dan perilaku. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara mempelajari pengalaman subjektif individu yaitu mahasiswa fisip Untirta Angkatan 2022 terhadap fenomena judi online slot yang sedang marak. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah jenis pendekatan penelitian fenomenologi.Penelitian ini menggunakan Teknik wawancara untuk mengumpulkan data. Teknik pengumpulan data kualitatif yang paling umum digunakan adalah wawancara. Wawancara dilakukan dengan cara mengajukan pertanyaan terbuka secara verbal ke responden, baik secara langsung atau online. Yaitu dengan cara mengajukan pertanyaan terbuka atau tertutup secara verbal kepada mahasiswa Fisip Untirta Angkatan 2022 yang bermain judi online slot, baik secara langsung atau online. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis tema.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Tourism and visit are one form of state development carried by the government. One of them is formed by building tourist attractions that can attract the attention of visitors. Marketing communication strategy is one of the things that can affect the number of tourists in a tourist attraction because it is a way to attract visitors to come and visit again. Heha Forest is a new tourist spot open in 2023. Heha Forest carries a restaurant concept with fresh and beautiful air surrounded by cool trees. The research method in this study was a qualitative descriptive research. The qualitative approach taken is descriptive data from visitors in the form of written or oral words. The research model carried is the marketing mix. Types of data collection used in this study include primary and secondary data. Primary data obtained directly from the resource person, through interviews. For secondary data obtained indirectly through related websites and Instagram accounts heha Forest. The results of the study show that the destination manager heha Forest continues to make efforts in marketing activities through digital media. The use of digital media is a tool that makes it easy for heha forest tourism managers in conveying information to potential customers. Salah satunya terbentuk dengan membangun tempat-tempat wisata yang dapat menarik perhatian pengunjung. Strategi komunikasi pemasaran adalah salah satu hal yang dapat mempengaruhi jumlah wisatawan pada suatu obyek wisata karena merupakan cara untuk dapat menarik pengunjung datang dan berkunjung kembali. Pada penelitian ini untuk mengetahui strategi komunikasi pemasaran digital Heha Forest yang merupakan tempat wisata baru buka di tahun 2023. Heha Forest membawa konsep restoran dengan disuguhi udara yang segar dan asri dikelilingi pepohonan yang sejuk. Metode penelitian pada penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Pendekatan kualitatif yang dilakukan merupakan data deskriptif dari pengunjung berupa kata-kata tertulis maupun lisan. Model penelitian yang diusung adalah bauran pemasaran 4P. Jenis pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi data primer dan sekunder. Data primer diperoleh langsung dari narasumber, melalui wawancara. Untuk data sekunder diperoleh secara tidak langsung melalui website terkait dan akun Instagram Heha Forest. Hasil penelitian menununjukkan bahwa pengelola destinasi Heha Forest terus melakukan upaya dalam kegiatan pemasaran melalui media digital. Penggunaan media digital menjadi alat yang memudahkan pengelola wisata Heha Forest dalam menyampaikan informasi kepada calon konsumen.

Abstract

Sexual violence against women and children is still happening in Indonesia. Indonesia is a sexual violence emergency country that requires special attention from the government or other institutions so that this can be overcome together. Many efforts have been made by various women's and child protection institutions to prevent this from happening. Apart from the government and NGOs, the media, in this case, of course, also participates in the news as a media that can provide protection, but in reality there is still a lot of news that corners and does not provide protection for women and children. To prevent the recurrence of sexual violence against women and children, the role and participation of the community is needed. One component of the community is the family, which plays a role in instilling knowledge in children from an early age. This essay aims to discuss the emergency situation of violence in Indonesia and the role that non-governmental organizations can play in preventing sexual violence through campaigns, discussions and knowledge sharing through radio media, social activities, publishing books and assisting in the resolution process.

Abstract

The political competition in Indonesia is quite dynamic and is also heating up towards 2024, especially from the competing candidates for the Indonesian presidency, such as Ganjar Pranowo, Prabowo Subianto and also Anies Baswedan. The purpose of this article is to review the dynamics of the image of the 2024 RI presidential candidate in political contestation. The method used is qualitative with descriptive analysis, where the data obtained is processed and reduced and analyzed to become an article. The findings state that the dynamics of the image of the 2024 Republic of Indonesia presidential candidate include personal images of Ganjar Pranowo, Prabowo Subianto and Anies Baswedan, images in issues of sustainability and issues of change, Anies Baswedan "held hostage" by identity politics, President Jokowi's legacy competition among sustainability groups, Ganjar's image as a barrier Pranowo as "party official", All Jokowi Mens, Prabowo Subianto's calm politics, battle between king makers, volunteer political pattern. Abstract

Technological advances have penetrated all of society's lives. Almost every corner and human activity is now accompanied by technology, including religious values. Da'wah, which was previously carried out verbally and held in a private house, has now shifted into a space that is not limited by time. For example, the use of Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) technology has been carried out in the medical, military, education, robotics and urban planning and civil science fields. Apart from that, the potential use of Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) technology can be used as a da'wah media. So the aim of this research is to analyze the potential of using Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) in the world of modern preaching. The approach used uses a literature review. The first formulation of the problem is, what is the potential of using Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) in the world of modern da'wah? Second, what are the models of Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) in the world of modern preaching? The results obtained in this research are that in developing Islamic da'wah, Augmented Reality (AR) technology can be combined with several forms such as: game cards, Islamic propagation story books, brochures/leaflets/poters, and Islamic history museums. Abstract

ABSTRACT Adityanta Dani Darmawan or more familiarly known as Dani Aditya is a comedian who started his career by participating in stand up comedy talent search events and also as a speaker for people with disabilities. Dani together with Mamat Alkatiri conveyed their opinions and social criticism regarding the infrastructure for people with disabilities in Indonesia which was packaged in comedy form on the Has Creative YouTube Channel. The aim of this research is to find out how Dani and Mamat convey social criticism. The method used in this research is a qualitative method using Charles Sanders Pierce's semiotic critical discourse model. The data collection technique used was direct observation, namely by watching Mamat Alkatiri and Dani's YouTube videos and by using library research, namely by using journals and books related to communication and social criticism. The results of this research show that Mamat Alkatiri and Dani explained many things and provided opinions and criticism regarding the infrastructure for people with disabilities in Indonesia, starting with paid concerts, it was very good to provide a special place for people with disabilities, but if it was a folk concert or an unpaid concert, Dani could not find facilities. This means that the infrastructure at stations and airports where seats are mostly used by non-disabled people and finally regarding education for disabled people, according to Dani and Mamat, it can be said that it is very far for disabled people to be able to participate because there are not yet adequate facilities and teachers who can providing learning for people with disabilities.
