Abstract

This study is to aimed to identify the influence of hotel staff responsiveness on quarantine guest’ satisfaction at Best Western Plus Kemayoran Hotel. The background of this study is the increasing outbreak of the corona virus which has caused every citizen who is in another country unable to return to their country of origin before carrying out a quarantine that has been regulated by the government. This analysis was conducted by the independent variable, namely the responsiveness of the hotel staff and the dependent variable which is the guests’ satisfaction. The data used by the researchers were taken from the total population of 12,048 quarantine guests in 2021 which the researchers then counted using the Slovin formula, hence the sample used in this study was 100 guest respondents who carried out quarantine at Best Western Plus Kemayojran Hotel by distributing questionnaires using the simple random sampling method which were then processed using a validity test, reliability test, hypothesis test, variable descriptive analysis, normality test, R2 determinant test, and T test. The value of the coefficient of determination (R2) on the symbol R square with a value of 0.592 or 59,2%, the value of t count 11.917 > table 1.984 with these results it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted and it indicates that the variable Hotel Staff Responsiveness (X) significantly influence Guests’ Satisfaction (Y).

Abstract

Garuda Wisnu Kencana (GWK) Bali is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Indonesia. The beauty of the Garuda Wisnu Kencana statue and the various attractions it offers attract many tourists to visit. This research aims to analyze the influence of attractions, facilities, and accessibility on tourist satisfaction at GWK Bali. This research uses quantitative methods and data collection techniques through surveys of 100 tourists who visited GWK Bali. Data were analyzed using validity, reliability, normality, heteroscedasticity, multicollinearity, multiple linear regression, and F tests. The research results showed that attractions and accessibility had a positive and significant influence on tourist satisfaction at GWK Bali. On the other hand, facilities do not have a significant influence on tourist satisfaction. The coefficient of determination of 0.776 indicates that 77.6% of the variation in tourist satisfaction can be explained by a combination of attractions, facilities, and accessibility. Attractions and accessibility are important factors that influence tourist satisfaction at GWK Bali. GWK Bali management needs to improve the quality of attractions and accessibility to increase tourist satisfaction.

Abstract

Pendidikan tinggi merupakan salah satu penyedia SDM yang dapat membantu untuk dapat menyediakan kebutuhan sumber daya manusia yang berkualitas. Perguruan tinggi atau universitas harus dapat menjawab tantangan dari persiapan karir dari para peserta didik dengan cara menerapkan pengembangan keterampilan di dalam kurikulumnya dan bekerja sama dengan pelaku industri. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisis hubungan antara Minat karir di masa depan   dengan kepuasan peserta magang, kepuasan peserta magang dan kualitas program magang dan kepuasan peserta magang sebagai mediator dari Kualitas program magang dan minat berkarir dari peserta magang di masa depan. Penelitian ini menggunakan uji hipotesis untuk menganalisa hubungan antar variabel dengan time-setting cross-sectional yang artinya data diambil dalam satu waktu. Metode sampling menggunakan purposive sampling. Kriteria dari responden adalah para mahasiswa/lulusan dari program studi Pariwisata pada Pendidikan tinggi yang sudah menjalani magang. Sampel yang terkumpul adalah sebanyak 163 responden yang sudah pernah melakukan magang. Temuan pada penelitian ini adalah Kepuasan magang memediasi hubungan antara Kualitas Program Magang dari sebuah Hotel dan Minat mahasiswa berkarir di masa depan. Selain itu, ditemukan juga bahwa kualitas program magang berpengaruh positif terhadap kepuasan peserta didik terhadap program magang dan kepuasan program magang berpengaruh positif terhadap minat peserta didik untuk berkarir di industri tempat peserta didik melaksanakan magang. Keterbatasan dari penelitian ini adalah yang pertama, jumlah sampel pada penelitian ini adalah sebanyak 163 sampel sehingga pada penelitian selanjutnya dapat menggunakan jumlah sampel yang lebih besar agar lebih dapat digeneralisasi. Selanjutnya, industri pada penelitian ini masih terbatas pada industri pariwisata, sehingga pada penelitian selanjutnya dapat dilakukan penelitian pada industri lainnya diluar industri pelayanan seperti otomotif, perbankan, dll

Abstract

Physical evidence is one of the important things that can improve customer impressions in the use of services provided. Therefore, in running its business, the Novotel Jakarta Cikini hotel must pay attention to physical evidence so that it is always in good condition, starting from interior, furniture, and facilities available at the hotel. Therefore the impression or perception of guests staying at the hotel will increase and This will later create customer satisfaction from the guest. The purpose of this research is to find out how big the influence of physical evidence on customer satisfaction at Novotel hotels Jakarta Cikini and the method used is a quantitative method with data collection techniques using questionnaires, observation, and literature study. The number of samples in this study was as many as 100 people stayed at the Novotel Jakarta Cikni Hotel. From the results, the calculation of the coefficient of determination (R2) shows the influence of physical evidence on customer satisfaction by 35%. Meanwhile, the calculation results t test obtained a value of tCount>tTable, namely 7.270>1.660 with a sig value 0.000<0.05 means H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected. It can be concluded that the physical evidence variable has a significant effect on customer satisfaction at the Novotel Jakarta Cikini hotel.

Abstract

The West Bandung Regency is recognized as a prominent tourism destination, with a geographical setting highly conducive to agrotourism development. Among its attractions, Kopi Luwak Cikole stands out for its unique product offerings and the distinctive experiences it provides to visitors. By conducting a SWOT analysis, this research aims to facilitate the development of Kopi Luwak Cikole as an agrotourism destination. The objective is to identify the internal and external factors influencing its growth in the West Bandung Regency. Employing a qualitative method with a case study approach, data processing involves Internal Factor Environment (IFE) analysis to pinpoint strengths to leverage and weaknesses to address, along with External Factor Environment (EFE) analysis to identify opportunities to exploit and threats to mitigate. The scores derived from the IFE and EFE matrices are analyzed and categorized, resulting in an internal factor score of 2.84 and an external factor score of 2.9. Both scores exceed the threshold of 2.5, indicating that the company is in a robust internal and external position. Consequently, the company demonstrates above-average capabilities to capitalize on strengths and opportunities, rectify weaknesses, and proactively address potential threats.

Abstract

The food and beverage industry in Indonesia has experienced rapid growth, driven by increasing consumer demand and trends influenced by social media. This study examines the application of Fear of Missing Out (FOMO) marketing strategies at Donut of Curiosity, a pumpkin donut shop located in Ashta District 8, South Jakarta. The research adopts a quantitative approach by collecting data through likert scale questionnaires distributed to 100 respondents selected using purposive sampling. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive statistics and correlation tests. The findings reveal that FOMO marketing strategies have an effective impact on influencing purchasing decisions. FOMO indicators, such as fear, anxiety, and self-esteem, have a significant influence on consumer behavior. The alternative evaluation stage and post-purchase behavior emerged as the most prominent aspects of the purchasing decision process, where consumers are motivated to buy and recommend the product after gaining social and emotional benefits. The correlation test shows a positive relationship between FOMO and purchasing decisions, with a relatively strong correlation value. These findings provide practical implications for business practitioners to optimize FOMO marketing strategies while maintaining product quality and enhancing customer experiences to strengthen customer loyalty.

Abstract

Venue management in music concert organization plays a crucial role in shaping audience experience and determining the success of an event. This study is motivated by the increasing number of music concerts held in the Jabodetabek area and the supporting facilities provided by each venue. Therefore, the main objective of this research is to analyze the impact of event venue supporting facilities on concertgoers' satisfaction levels at several major concert venues in Jabodetabek. This study employs a quantitative approach using multiple regression analysis with Smart PLS. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to individuals who had attended concerts at major venues, namely Istora Senayan, JIExpo Kemayoran, Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium (SUGBK), and Jakarta International Stadium (JIS). The findings reveal that supporting facilities, which include general amenities, signage aspects (directional signs), accessibility, and seating layout, do not all significantly influence audience satisfaction levels. The signage aspect and seating layout were found to be the primary factors in creating a positive experience for concertgoers. Meanwhile, general amenities and accessibility did not show a significant impact on the comfort and satisfaction of concert attendees.

Abstract

Push Factors dan Pull Factors merupakan dua faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi pengunjung ingin berkunjung ke Jakarta Fair 2022, pengunjung ingin berkunjung ke PRJ yaitu untuk mencari promo, menikmati hiburan, konser musik dan mencari kuliner. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis seberapa besar pengaruh Push Factors dan Pull Factors terhadap Minat Pengunjung pada Event Jakarta Fair 2022 Secara Parsial dan Simultan. Metode penelitian ini adalah Kuantitatif, dengan menggunakan variabel Push Factor dan Pull Factor sebagai Variabel Independen, Variabel Minat Berkunjung sebagai Variabel Dependen. Jumlah populasi pada tahun 2022 sebanyak 6,9 juta jiwa dengan menggunakan 100 sampel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel faktor pendorong yang secara parsial mempengaruhi minat pengunjung sebesar 0,640 atau 64%, berdasarkan hasil uji T diperoleh nilai t hitung sebesar 13,206 > nilai t tabel sebesar 1,984 maka H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Pada Variabel Faktor Penarik yang secara parsial berpengaruh terhadap minat berkunjung sebesar 0,549 atau 54,9% berdasarkan hasil uji T bahwa nilai t hitung sebesar 10,912 > nilai t tabel sebesar 1,984 maka H0 ditolak dan H2 diterima. Sedangkan Variabel Faktor Pendorong dan Faktor Penarik yang berpengaruh terhadap Minat Berkunjung secara simultan sebesar 0,712 atau 71,2%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh Faktor Pendorong dan Faktor Penarik secara simultan terhadap Minat Berkunjung sebesar 71,2% berdasarkan hasil uji F bahwa nilai f hitung sebesar 119,876 > nilai f tabel sebesar 3,09 maka hal ini membuktikan bahwa H0 ditolak dan H3 diterima.

Abstract

Complaints often arise due to customer dissatisfaction and disappointment resulting from a company’s failure to understand their needs and desires. With the right response, these complaints can be effectively addressed, leading to customer satisfaction. This research aims to understand the handling procedures carried out by the f&b service department at Matra 21 restaurant in Grand Kemang Hotel Matraman. It also seeks to identify the efforts and obstacles encountered when dealing with complaints at Matra 21 restaurant. The research employs a qualitative descriptive approach, utilizing data collection methods such as observation, interviews and documentation. Informants participating in this study include Matra 21 restaurant staff, guests who have experienced the products and service at Matra 21 restaurant, as well as academicians. The findings of this research indicate that complaint handling by Matra 21 restaurant staff aligns with established standard operating procedures (SOP). Efforts such as daily guest feedback and guest preferences are like ILEAD (identify, listen, empathy, apologize and decide). However, there are factors hindering complaint resolution, such as guests requesting nonstandard procedures beyond the existing Standard Operating Procedures.

Abstract

Kuningan Regency has interesting tourism potential to visit, one of which is the natural tourism of the Lamping Kidang Camping Grounds. This study aims to explore the potential of natural tourism in the Lamping Kidang Camping Grounds, which is located in Cisantana Village, Cigugur District, Kuningan Regency, West Java. Through a literature study approach, this study examines various factors that support the development of the area as a sustainable natural tourism destination. The results of the study indicate that the Lamping Kidang Camping Grounds has various natural attractions, including beautiful mountain views, biodiversity, and adequate facilities, and the tourism of this Camping Grounds includes educational tours of dairy farms, where tourists can try to milk their own cows. Active participation of local communities in the management and provision of tourism services is an important key to the success of the development of this destination. In addition, environmental education and nature conservation programs are expected to increase environmental awareness and support the curiosity of an area. To maximize the potential of natural tourism in the Lamping Kidang Camping Grounds, a sustainable development strategy is needed. This includes improving infrastructure, empowering local communities, environmental conservation, and effective promotion. Diversification of thematic tourism such as eco-tourism and agro-tourism also offers great opportunities to attract various segments of tourists
