Abstract

Contemporary da'wah is not only interpreted as the transformation of Islamic values through lectures between da'i and mad'u, more than that, da'wah must be a driver and motivator in a modernization movement as an antidote to negative access through political access. This study uses a literature review method by exploring various literature that examines da'wah studies, data obtained from books, journal articles, theses and papers. Data analysis is carried out by synthesizing information from various sources to form a comprehensive picture of the research topic. The results of the study show that da'wah must absorb various dimensions of life and all aspects related to society, including political activities. In the process, da'wah views that Islam cannot be separated from politics and is also a very complete religion in regulating all human life, including religion and state affairs. This is the joint of totality in Islam which in the practice of life must be applied. There is a moral responsibility carried by Islam when it appears as a religion that perfects previous religions. In addition, da'wah is a reconstruction of society by including values that are in accordance with Islamic teachings.

Abstract

This research aims to discover the da'wah messages on Muhammad Faizar's Official YouTube channel. This research uses a qualitative descriptive research method. This type of research is used to discover and understand research procedures that produce descriptive data in the form of written or spoken words from research subjects and observable behaviour. Research involves text, video, images and so on so that you can find out the content of thoughts and meanings related to a particular social context. Therefore, in this discussion, Ustadz Muhammad Faizar conveyed the Sunnahs that Rasulullah SAW adhered to when carrying out travel activities, such as leaving the house to recite the tawakal prayer (Bismillaahi tawakkaltu 'alallaah, laa haula wa laa quwwata illaa billaah), passing over hills. The road says "Allahu Akbar" and the road down "Subhanallah". The informant also said climbing mountains is sunnah because climbing mountains is a travelling activity. It also discusses the myths found on Mount Slamet, such as the myth of the Sri Kedasih bird in Samarantu. Discussion of the Pos Slamet Cave is seen from an Islamic perspective by the Al-Qur'an and As-Sunnah. By focusing on the da'wah messages conveyed in the context of the Mount Slamet expedition, this research contributes to understanding da'wah practised in travel or safari situations, which aligns with the sunnah practices taught in Islam.

Abstract

The objectives of this research are to identify and examine historical facts pertaining to the sacred grave site in East Muaro Panco Village, Renah Pembarap District, Merangin Jambi. The local community believes that the tomb belongs to the great and sacred scholar Syekh Maulana Qori, who is said to have travelled from Baghdad to spread Islam in Jambi. However, this narrative is largely based on oral tradition and lacks corroboration from historical sources. The researchers employed a qualitative research approach with a case history methodology in order to address the aforementioned concern. Data was gathered through interviews with informants, including community leaders, religious leaders, and Kyai, both within and outside the area, who were deemed to possess knowledge of the tomb’s history. Subsequently, researchers conducted direct observations at the tomb and utilized documentation pertaining to the history of Syekh Maulana Qori. The results of the researchers’ search yielded a history of the tomb in Muaro Panco, which revealed that it was the final resting place of Syekh Maulana Qori, a prominent scholar from Baghdad (Iraq) who was related to Syekh Al-fairus Al-Baghdadi. Syekh Maulana Qori is regarded as one of the most influential Islamic scholars in Muaro Panco’s history. His grave remains a pilgrimage site, both locally and from beyond the region, including from outside Indonesia.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of millennial teacher characteristics, compensation, and workplace spirituality on teacher loyalty, an overview/generalization of the research problem. This research uses a mixed-methods approach with a sequential explanation. The study's population consisted of the 52 teachers that work at Taruna Nusa Harapan (TNH) Elementary School. Purposive sampling is the method of sampling that is employed. Results of the research show that workplace spirituality, compensation, and millennial teachers' characteristics all significantly affect teachers' loyalty at TNH Elementary School. This is demonstrated by the calculated F value of 4.034, which is higher than the 2.95 F table value with a 0.028 significance level. At TNH Elementary School, the millennial teacher characteristic variable (X1) has a t-count value of 0.281 and a t-table value of 2.042, indicating that it has a partially zero effect on teacher loyalty. There is a partially significant positive effect for the compensating variable (X2), with a t-count value of 2.837 and a t-table of 2.042. There is a marginally significant positive influence on workplace spirituality (X3), with a t-count value of 2.735 and a t-table of 2.042. The results of R2 (coefficient of determination) of 0.818 or (81.8%) and the remaining 18.2% are influenced by other variables outside this research model.

Abstract

The spiritual building is an effort to carry out mental or spiritual refreshment in the form of belief, faith, ideology, ethics, guidelines and guidance. Spiritual development can be done using various media, one of which comes from religion, which is called "religious spiritualism." Religious communities must develop, strengthen or rebuild the spiritual role of religion. SMAN 2 Teluk Kuantan always instills spiritual values in its students, both through education, teaching and other activities such as the weekly wirid, which is held every Friday to spiritual tausiah activities on Islamic holidays where all of this is carried out in order to internalize the spirit of faith and student self-confidence. The aim of the author in conducting this research is to find out the extent of religious spiritual awareness, especially among students at SMAN 2 Teluk Kuantan who have embraced Islam since birth, which was inherited from their parents and what factors influence religious spirituality to increase and decrease in them. Based on observations, some students ignore their obligations as Muslims, such as praying five times a day, Friday prayers, reading the Koran and lacking feelings of guilt when committing mistakes that are prohibited by religion (Islam), such as gambling, consuming alcohol and other immoralities. Even though they have been given education related to this, especially in PAI-BP subjects, which are mandatory curriculum subjects. As the author explains in the background of the problem, the focus discussion in this research is related to an analysis study of the level of religious spiritual awareness of students at SMAN 2 Teluk Kuantan. With a problem formulation: What is the level of spiritual and religious awareness of students at SMAN 2 Teluk Kuantan, and what are the factors that influence it? The population in this study were all students of SMAN 2 Teluk Kuantan.

Abstract

This research on the Arabic Pegon t-shirt was qualitative research based on Charles S. Pierce's semiotic theory, which revealed the existence of icons, indexes and symbols in every text and visual communication. Therefore, this research attempted to uncover the iconization, indexicality and symbolization contained in t-shirt designs that used Pegon Arabic script and find the meaning behind the use of these three aspects of language signs. This research data came from Arab Pegon t-shirts produced and marketed by a millennial at the “Galeri Sahaya” Pati outlet. This research concluded that the use of Pegon Arabic script on t-shirts was a representation of Indonesian cultural symbols, which were outlined in several t-shirt design themes, namely the themes of mahabbah (love), hubbul wathon (love of the homeland), syauq (longing), and adab (manners). The themes raised in the Arabic Pegon t-shirts were general (universal) themes that could be accepted by all groups and groups with the aim that the Arabic Pegon script could be known externally by all levels of society and revive the enthusiasm to care for the Islamic heritage of the archipelago.
