Abstract

 This study was aimed at  measuring  the performance of the Agents and Vendors. To find out whether it is appropriate or not with the lead time the study was using Service Level Agreement based on delivery of goods.  The problems of this research were How the implementation of Vendor Management at PT. Synergy First Logistics was, How the quality of service of the Agent was and What the influence of Vendor Management with service quality Agent was. To solve the problems, the researchers were using two methods.  Data collection methods through Field Research and Library Research.  This research used quantitative analysis to explain the phenomena of the influence between Vendor Management and Service Quality of Agent by collecting numerical data that are analysed using mathematic methods. Based on the result, the correlation shows that vendor management and service quality has a relationship value of 0.708 with significant level 000 that means there is a significant correlation between the two variables.

Abstract

PT DENSO INDONESIA is a manufactured industry of vehicles spare parts. One of the products is spark plugs that contain insulator, housing, talk ring, ring form, gasket ring, nut lathe terminal, washer, and cup cutting. The questions formulated are how the company controlled the spark plugs productions, how the company arranged the economic order quantity / EOQ, safety stock, re-order point, maximum inventory, and total inventory cost, and how effective EOQ in controlling the company’s stock. The analysis method used in this study is EOQ. Based on the result, the EOQ set by the company was 12.560 units, the safety stock was 34.927 units, the spark plugs ordered 170 times in a year with 46.615 units of the stock, and maximum inventory was 47.487 units.

Abstract

The research objective is to determine the integration between Corridor 13 development planning and the quality of Transjakarta Bus services. Transjakarta Bus Transport is one of the mass transports operating in DKI Jakarta. This research was conducted by providing alternative solutions to problems with the proposed development of facilities located in Corridor 13 of the Ciledug - Tendean route and also the future needs of the fleet to support the smooth operation of Corridor 13 in the future. The research method used quantitative analysis through average waiting times, frequency of public vehicle departures, headway, load factors, and Round Trip Time. To get the benefit for service providers, this research is expected to be a reference for evaluation materials for service providers related to the operation of Transjakarta Corridor 13 Bus route. The sample size used 45 service users as the object of the questionnaire. From the analysis, some solutions can be obtained as in the development plan by adding frequency, headway, and operating hours on Transjakarta operations. For Service Quality, there are efforts to improve facilities and infrastructure facilities for repairing the Platform Screen Door and adding the fans. It is expected that the operator of TransJakarta considers the inputs to anticipate the high expectations of the number of passengers in the coming 5 years.

Abstract

Tarakan Port is a container terminal where goods are sent using containers. The objective of this research is to figure out and analyze whether in the following years the container terminal of Tarakan Port is capable of handling the ship and the container flow. The method in collecting the data were field research and library research. In this study, descriptive analysis was used as the method with trend analysis as its analysis tool. The result of the study shows that the container terminal of Tarakan Port is capable of serving the flow of the containers with the capacity of container crane and reach stacker in the amount of 156,555 box/year and 149,100 box/year.. However, the value of berth occupancy ratio (BOR) of this particular terminal exceeds beyond 40% of the value defined by UNCTAD (United Nations Conference On Trade And Development). It can be concluded that PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) as the service provider in Tarakan Port should add a number of docks and improve the facilities in order to serve the increasing of container flow in 2017-2018.

Abstract

The object of this study aimed to analyze the satisfaction of the expectations/ interests of business partners in the Cargo Terminal of Soekarno Hatta Airport in Semester 1 2014, with a population of 36 Business Partners. Through quantitative and qualitative methods with the Likert scale is used to find the level of suitability and Cartesian diagram, as well as methods Customer Satisfaction Index, appears clearly how the average value of the variable X or business partner satisfaction was 3.75. Meanwhile, the average value of the variable Y or expectations/ interests of business partners were 4.25. Meanwhile, the level of concordance between the variables X and Y variables amounted to 88.35%. This means not yet reached the optimum level of satisfaction, in actual, what is expected of business partners still needs special attention from the company. In a Cartesian diagram there is only one factor that goes in quadrant A is a factor of 2. In diagram B, there are five factors that go in it is a factor of 1, 3, 4, 8 and 9 --- In quadrant C, there are two factors, namely factor 6 and 7, were entering the quadrant D is a factor of 10 and 5. Customer Satisfaction Index scores conclude that the figures obtained Customer Satisfaction Index is 0.74, meaning that, although not yet reached a maximum, however, there is already a pretty good satisfaction felt by the business partner.

Abstract

This study aimed at understanding the effect of the application of IPC Terminal Operating System (ITOS) on container receipt and / or expenditure services to and / or from the Nusantara II Field of Tanjung Priok Port. The problem of this research was whether the implementation of the IPC Terminal Operating System can make container acceptance and / or container services at the container terminal better. The analytical method used was simple regression, correlation coefficient, determinant coefficient, and t test. The results of statistical calculations obtain that the linear regression equation Y = 6.26 + 0.80X, explaining that the level of container acceptance and / or expenditure services can be predicted to be better if the implementation of ITOS increases better. The level of relations between the two variables is very strong and positive (r = 0.82). ITOS contribution to the level of strong container acceptance and / or expenditure services with a determinant coefficient value of 67.24%. ITOS has a significant effect on container revenue and / or expenditure services with a t count value (7.61) greater than t table (2.048).

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the strategy of Damri transport service route Serpong – Soekarno Hatta International Airport. The method used SWOT analysis using IE (Internal-External) matrix, IFE (Internal Factor Evaluation) which has total score of 3.51 and  EFE (External Factor Evaluation) with total score of 3.55. Samples taken from 8 (eight) staff of PERUM DAMRI in Soekarno Hatta Airport branch. It is in quadrant I of IE matrix which still increase and advance. The strategies needed to be applied are market elaboration and product development. Based on SWOT analysis using internal and external table analysis, the route is in quadrant I which has the Strength score of 4.07 and the Weakness score of 2.55 that create the difference of those internal factors of 1.52. On the other hand, the Opportunity score is 3.86 and the Threat score is 3.23 that construct the difference of those external factors of 0.63. The conclusion is the company is in solvent position that has positive strength and opportunity. The company could apply S-O strategy of SWOT matrix which uses the most of strength and opportunity factors.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out strengths and weaknesses (internal factors), threats and opportunities (external factors) and the strategy of the transport service company. PT. ASDP INDONESIA FERRY is a State-Owned Enterprise within the Ministry of Transportation which is authorized to carry out all activities in Ports of Bakauheni - Merak. SWOT Analysis was used as the analysis method. Based on the results, PT ASDP INDONESIA FERRY Bakauheni Branch, Bakauheni - Merak Route is in quadrant I with strength score of 3.82 and weakness score of 2.40. The difference between the two internal factors is 1.42. The score of opportunity value is 3.82 and the score of threat value is 2.80 that shows the difference between the two external factors is 1.02. These mean that the company is in a favorable position, which has positive strength and opportunities. Based on  the SWOT matrix, the S-O strategy is obtained, namely by utilizing strengths and making the most of opportunities.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of forklift treatment on the warehouse continuity operation of PT  Frisian Flag Indonesia at Ciracas Plant. The methods of data collection are in the form of field research, library research and data analysis techniques with Likert-scale weighting, simple linear regression analysis, correlation coefficient analysis, determinant coefficient analysis, and hypothesis testing. The conclusion shows that simple linear regression calculation obtained a constant of 17.341 and b regression coefecient was equal to 0.607. Referring to the regression equation, it is seen that every single increase unit of forklift treatment escalation will be followed by an increase in operational activities of 0.607 at the constant 17.341. The result of calculation of correlation coeficient can be assessed that r (correlation) was equal to 0.725. This proved that the increase of forklift treatment had an effect on the opeerational activities since the r values was 0.725. This means there were a positive correlation between forklift maintenance variables and operational activities. The calculated result of coefficient determined in which Kp = r² aqual to 0.725² indicated that the contribution amount of forklift treatment was 52.5% on operational activities, while the remaining 47.5% was the influence of factors outside this research. Hypothesis testing shows taccount  > ttable. That means Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Thus, there is a significant positive influence between forklift treatment for warehouse operation.

Abstract

PT. Multi Terminal Indonesia is a terminal operator specialized in loading and unloading goods in containers and bulk cargo. The purpose of this research is to find out the factors created the obtacles when loading and unloading scrap, the real problems and effective solutions need to be taken by the company. The research is using fishbone diagram. Using the questionnaire response, the researchers get the factors which are: 1. Materials (the on time performance of trucking part), 2. Machines (loading and unloading complete facilities and equipment), 3. Facilities (Back up area), 4. Machines (the number of loading and unloading scrap), 5. Materials (the number of trucking for each shift). The effective solutions are the company should provide some armadas to be used when in need and ask the owner to prepare everytime in need.
