Abstract

Tanjung Priok Harbormaster Office is a unit at the Sea General Directorate in the Ministry of Transportation. This unit has a task to carry out surveillance and law enforcement in shipping. To know the service performance of vessel inspection, the Public Satisfaction Index is used, due to PAN Ministerial Decree No. KEP-25 / M.PAN / 2/2004 on 24th February 2004 concerning on the Guidelines of Public Satisfaction Index in the Service Unit of the Government Agency. This study aims to analyze the service performance of Indonesian vessel inspection by the Marine Inspector to the level of Public Satisfaction Index at the Tanjung Priok Harbormaster Office Jakarta. The result of the study shows that 1 from 14 indicators measured is still not good, which is the accuracy of time in vessel inspection. This means that the organization has less competency in recruiting the Marine Inspectors or Marine Inspector Candidates. The organization also lacks of facilities and infrastructures to support the activities of vessel inspection, resulting the user dissatisfaction at the Tanjung Priok Harbormaster Office.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the amount of flights and passengers at the Terminal 1A Check-in Counter at Soekarno Hatta Airport. The study used simple linear regression analysis techniques, correlations, determinant coefficient and hypothesis testing. The results of this study show that the regression coefficient analysis, -15859.152 + 164.628X constant of -15859.152 states that if there is no increase in the value of the variable amount of flights (X) then the amount of passengers at Check-in Counter Terminal 1A at Soekarno Hatta Airport will decrease -15859.152. It means that if there is no increase in the amount of flights, the amount of passengers at the Check-in Counter will decrease, whereas if there is an increase in the amount of flights, the amount of passengers at the Check-in Counter will increase. Correlation coefficient, states the price r = 0.943 means that the value of the amount of flights to the amount of passengers at the Check-in Counter is very strong. KP determinant coefficient = 88.9% means that there is an influence from variable amount of flights to the amount of passengers in the Check-in Counter at Terminal 1A at Soekarno Hatta Airport, because tcount> ttable (13,304> 2,074) then Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted, meaning partially there is a significant influence between the amount of flights on the amount of passengers in the Check-in Counter at Terminal 1A at Soekarno Hatta Airport.

Abstract

This study refutes the procedures for transporting dangerous class 1 and 7 goods from trailers or ships to stacking fields and vice versa at Tanjung Priok Port Container I Terminal, and compares the procedures for moving containers, dangerous goods, classes 1 and 7 used by loading and unloading companies load I Container Port of Tanjung Priok Port with the IMDG convention code, 2004, specifically during fires and leaks. The main problem in this study is which one can change the IMDG code that has been applied in the transfer of containers containing dangerous goods class 1 and 7. This study uses a descriptive comparative method. The results of the study concluded that the application of trucks directly lost and directly loaded trucks could lead to accidents or recovery in the field. Implementation of the separation system regulations in accordance with the IMDG Code regulations, but still found inadequate personal protective equipment facilities such as breathing apparatus, safety gloves, ear plugs, face and eye protection equipment.

Abstract

The purpose of the research is to analyze and find out the effect of integrated marketing and marketing relationship to the airlines customers’ loyalty using Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). The population of the research was airlines passengers of Soekarno Hatta Airport and sample was taken of 105 respondents. The data was collected using questionnaire, interview, documented study, studied variables by using Likert Scale. The questionnaire result was analyzed using Lisrel (statistics software). The result from hypothesis test is parsially the integrated marketing variable does not show significant effect to loyalty variable that can be seen from the score t = -0.99 < -1.96. Based on t score t = 8.27 > 1.96, relationship marketing is the variable that give strong and significant effect to loyalty variable. Simultaneously, independent variables, relationship marketing dan integrated marketing, give positive and significant effect to loyalty variable. Based on 11 criteria of GOF / Good on Fit model, the model in this research has shown good modeling which means the measurement model obtained from the data is in accordance with the research hypothesis due to 8 out of 11 criteria fullfilled

Abstract

Facing  the challenges of Globalization Era and Readiness to enter the era of Asean Economic Community (AEC) Economic Market, Indonesia seems to be in doubt. Due to the availability of experts in the field of Transport and Logistics is still very inadequate, one of the toughest challenges facing the Asean open market is the use of experts in the field of Transport and Logistics. The reason, foreign logistics companies that will open operations in Indonesia will participate scramble to find reliable personnel in the field of Transport and Logistics services nationwide. The need for logistics experts is around 17,000 people per year, to meet a minimum of two logistics experts in every large and medium-sized company engaged in manufacturing, trading, retail and distribution, various industries in need. Therefore, Trisakti responds to the challenges in the business world of Transportation and Logistics in the provision of education to create a curriculum of education of logistics experts who are reliable and globally reputable. That is by realizing Trisakti Institute of Transport and Logistics (ITL).

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the role of inland ports in reducing the total cost and total delivery time of goods. Inland port is an alternative solution to logistics  problem, which will ultimately reduce product competitiveness due to high logistics costs. The main power of the inland port is intermodal integration since it could also minimize the processes that are carried out separately when sending goods through conventional ports. The research method used was descriptive qualitative. The data collected in this study was obtained through structured interviews and in depth interviews from several speakers who were important actors in the field of inland ports, along with some data sourced from third parties. The result is that inland ports through intermodal integration are able to reduce total costs, total time and reduce highway density through the transfer of goods from truck to train

Abstract

PT. DHL Global Forwarding is a freight forwarder company which is engaged in freight forwarding, logistics and freight both exports and imports. The issue discussed in this research is the influence of the data repair (redress) to the on-time clearance at PT. DHL Global Forwarding Indonesia in 2015. The purpose of the study was to determine the influence of the data repair (redress) to the on-time clearance. To gain the result, the writers use qualitative methods of Logical Framework Approach (LFA). Writers collected data through observation and interview given to 5 employees as samples. By using the LFA analysis, it is shown that the improvement of data (redress) greatly affects on-time clearance, due to the improvement of data (redress) indicates that the data are subject to rejection so it takes 1-5 days to process correction which means exceeds the Key Performance Indicator (KPI).
