Abstract

In the last 10 years, the practice of logistics in the industry changing very remarkable. Global competition in the market of products and services to encourage the diversity of products to meet the needs of market segments are also diverse, high standard of product quality, timely delivery of goods is very dependent on the condition of public infrastructure provided by the government of a country. As a result, the demands of efficiency in higher logistics activities, including the level of security quality, safety and service. The lack of infrastructure support and the absence of "hub port" nationwide; poor management of interconnection or intermodal system between port infrastructure, transportation and warehousing as well as lower network capability, information technology led to the position of Indonesia is low in terms of competition and the logistics performance index compared with many countries in dunia.Tujuan research is to formulate the concept of multimodal transport role in realizing the Vision Logistics Indonesia 2025. The data was collected through a literature review, research results, and related scientific publications. The analysis uses qualitative descriptive approach, as well as to evaluate the public policy analysis to formulate the concept of multimodal transport role in realizing the vision of Indonesian Logistics 2025. The results are realizing the integration of the logistics system and increasing the role of multimodal transport, building a logistic center, to be able to realize the logistics system connectivity national.

Abstract

The General Directorate of Customs is an agency assigned by the government to regulate goods entering and leaving the country, and Customs has customs facilities, namely temporary import and recently customs clearance together with KADIN and IMI makes temporary import easier with carnet system. The problem in this study is the role of the carnet system in the completion of the temporary import goods in the main service office of the Soekarno Hatta Customs Office. The purpose of this study is to determine the role of the carnet system in the settlement of temporary import goods. To solve the problem of the author used 2 methods, first the method of collecting data in the form of field data and literature data. The second method of descriptive qualitative analysis is the analysis used to analyze and observe social situations broadly, thoroughly and deeply. The results of the analysis and discussion of carnet are documents used for temporary import with a period of 12 months. In the carnet there is the ATA carnet (Admission Temporary/ Temporary Admission Carnet) and CPD carnet (Carnet de Passages en Duane). There is a procedure for obtaining approval of temporary import facilities, terms and conditions for temporary import and sanctions. The procedure for using the carnet is that the importer reports to the general directorate of customs or the head of the customs service office and pays a guarantee until the completion of the temporary import by the carnet. There are the relevant agencies dealing with carnet KADIN (Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry) and IMI (Indonesian Motor Association) as well as the advantages and role of carnet in the temporary import settlement. The advantage of using this carnet system is that it is very fast in checking the release of goods because it only uses carnet document for each item.

Abstract

Undang-undang Republik Indonesia No. 1 tahun 2009 tentang penerbangan yang disyahkan oleh Dewan Perwakilan rayat dan Presiden Republik Indonesia merupakan acuan dan standar keselamatan penerbangan sipil yang harus dipatuhi dan dilaksanakan oleh seluruh perusahaan penerbangan yang beroperasi di di Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat pemahaman, kepatuhan dan tanggung jawab konsumen penerbangan domestik di Indonesia terhadap Undang-undang Republik Indonesia No. 1 tahun 2009 tentang penerbangan. Kenyataannya masyarakat pengguna jasa penerbangan masih ada yang belum memahami, patuh dan tanggung jawab terhadap peraturan tentang keamanan  dan keselamatan penerbangan yang berlaku di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan berbagai asumsi yang mendasarinya dengan menggunakan 74 responden penumpang penerbangan domestik di Indonesia. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah untuk dapat memberikan masukan yang berharga kepada pemerintah selaku regulator dan perusahaan penerbangan selaku operator dalam hal perlunya pemahaman, kepatuhan dan tanggung jawab dari konsumen penerbangan di Indonesia terhadap isi dari Undang-undang Republik Indonesia No. 1 tahun 2009 tentang penerbangan yang terkait dengan penumpang perusahaan penerbangan.

Abstract

Singapore Airlines is one of the best full service airlines in the world. The problem of the study was the effect of service quality of the airlines to the passengers’ loyalty of Singapore-Jakarta route in 2017. This study was aimed at finding out the above statement. To analyze the problem, the researchers were using analysis of simple linear regression. The data was taken from 154 passengers’ statement of SQ 958 Singapore-Jakarta route. The result shows the low effect of X and Y variables. Based on t-table result that Ha is accepted while Ho is not accepted, there is a significant and positive low effect of X (service quality) and Y (passengers’ loyalty) variables.

Abstract

The purpose of the study is to figure out the internal and external factors related to the strength and weaknes in preparing the crew. The method used was field and library research by observing, interviewing, and spreading questionnaire. SWOT analysis was used to analyse the data. The internal factor of PT. Kia Marindo Jusema Jakarta has more strength than the weakness factor. The dominant strength lies in professional human resource service of 0.67. The weakness is found in the lack of the crew document of 0.24. The external factor of the company has more opportunity than threat. The most dominant opportunity factor is the increasing need of crew ship of 0.76 while the most dominant threat factor is the lack of qualified crew needed by the company of 0.31. The steps taken to minimize the internal weakness and face the external threat are by building cooperation with crew ship certified institution approved by Indonesia ministry of transportation to deal with the lack of certified crew document and expanding cooperation with sailor / crew ship communities and private shipping academy in Indonesia to deal with the lack of certified crew ship.

Abstract

The research was conducted at PT Satyamitra Surya Perkasa (PT.SSP) in Jakarta. The purpose of the research is to find out the flow of imported goods procurement in PT. SSP in 2017. This is an action research where the researchers can describe, interpret, and define a situation by changing…The data used in this study was qualitative data. The data was taken by interviewing and doing library research. The scheduler with exact time work duration and high probability for success was resulted from the implementation of CPM PERT critical flow and bar chart scheduling. This study analyzes the data from the process of procuring imported goods from the initial project request to the fulfillment of the material procurement head office which will eventually be used for project needs. The critical trajectory analysis using the PERT and Network Diagram CPM methods can indicate that the procurement of imported goods that have been analyzed normally in the day is 65 days after the assessment is conducted both in terms of time and expenditure of company funds for goods demand, goods ordering, customs clearance, shipping loading and unloading document and trucking, the time can be shortened to 45 days, and has a major impact on the development needs of the 2017 Lontar PLTU project.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the effect of shuffling before loading to the containers’ loading speed. This research method used simple regression based on functional or causal relationship of one independent variable with one dependent variable. Simple linear regression analysis is a linear relation between one independent variable (X) with the dependent variable (Y). Koja Container Terminal is the first container terminal in Indonesia operated by both the government and private company that aimed at contributing to the growth of the country. There is a moderate relationship between variable X (shuffling before loading) to variable Y (container loading speed) at Koja Container Terminal in 2015 with r value of 0.561 based on coefficient interpretation with value 0.40-0,599.

Abstract

In 2011, the writer had already presented the article about the growth of ATC (Air Traffic Control) in North America. To gain more knowledge about ATC, this article is presenting the best ATCs in Europe and Africa. The information presented here are focused on the heights of the ATC to support the broaden view of the airports area and the newest designed used to cope the era. The height taken as example here is 80 m to compare with ATC in Soekarno Hatta which is only 61 m.

Abstract

This study aims at investigating the effect of transportation mode readiness and cargo planning on the smooth distribution of CBU. The data was obtained through a survey of 48 CBU logistics company employees in Jakarta with multiple regression analysis tools. The results of the study prove the hypothesis of the simultaneous influence of transportation mode readiness and load planning on the smooth distribution of the CBU, with the F count of 36.080 greater than the F table value of 3.20. In addition, there is a partial effect of transportation mode readiness variable on the distribution smoothness which is significant with t count 2.121 greater than t table 1.679 and the effect of cargo planning variable on distribution smoothness is significant with t count 5.919 greater than t table 1.679.

Abstract

PT. Garuda Indonesia (Persero) Tbk is a state-owned company that engaged in air transport service.  The main issue discussed in this research is the relation between charter flight costs to crew rotation practiced in PT. Garuda Indonesia (Persero) Tbk in flight route Jinan – Denpasar based on an agreement with Royal-Sino Energy Aviation.  The objective of this research is to find out the influence of charter flight cost by crew rotation.  Data were analyzed using descriptive explorative.  Based on the result of the analysis, it is revealed that PT. Garuda Indonesia (Persero) Tbk uses crew pairing system in its applied crew rotation, but it is not fully optimized.  The crew pairing and crew scheduling optimization can be applied in PT. Garuda Indonesia (Persero) Tbk so that the crew cost expenses can be reduced thus giving bigger margin to the company.
