Abstract

The Rice (Oryza sativa . L) is the main crop in Indonesia, almost half of Indonesia populasion consumes rice as a staple food. Especially rice, efforts need to be made to increase rice production, currently, it is hampered by pest attacks which can reduce agricultural production. The purpose of this study was to determine the characteristics of farmers, (2) know the factors that influence rice production, and (3) analyze the level of efficiency of techniques for using production factors in business farming. The research was conducted on rice crops in Karangklesem village, Pakuncen sub-district. Banyumas Regency, Respondent samples taken in this research were the purposive method, sampling was taken using a random sampling technique of 80 respondents. This research was conducted from July 2021 to October 2022. The results of this study show that average farmers carry out business farming on a land area of more than 1 hectare with farming experience of more than 15 years. The level of rice farming in Karangklesem village is technically efficient with an average technical efficiency level of 0.94 or 94 %. Production factors that have a real influence on rice farming production with integrated pest management (IPM) are chemical fertilizers, botanical pesticides, and chemical pesticides. The lowest level of efficiency of rice farming techniques was 0.81 and the highest level of efficiency was 0.99. average farmers have a technical efficiency level of 0.94 which means that rice production with the implementation of integrated pest management (IPM) reaches 94% of the potential rice production and there is still 6 % to increase production. Increase production with an average technical efficiency of 0.94. this shows that rice farming groups in Karangklesem village are profitable and farmers can still increase their incomes, and increase technical efficiency.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui interaksi pengaruh pemberian dosis pupuk kandang ayam dan pupuk silika terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman kentang (Solanum tuberosum L.) Varietas Granola. Penelitian dilaksanakan mulai Juli sampai Oktober 2023, di Kampung Cirawa, Desa Cibeureum, Kecamatan Kertasari, Kabupaten Bandung, Provinsi Jawa Barat dengan ketinggian tempat 1.428 m di atas permukaan laut. Curah hujan termasuk zona agroklimat C3 menurut klasifikasi Oldeman. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) pola faktorial dengan 3 kali ulangan. Faktor I adalah dosis pupuk kandang ayam yang terdiri dari taraf 0 ton/ha, 5 ton/ha, dan 10 ton/ha, sedangkan faktor II adalah dosis pupuk silika yang terdiri dari taraf 0 kg/ha, 200 kg/ha, dan 400 kg/ha. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan dosis pupuk kandang ayam 5 ton/ha memberikan respons paling baik bagi tinggi tanaman dan jumlah stolon, jumlah umbi per tanaman, bobot umbi per tanaman, serta bobot umbi per plot. Pemberian dosis pupuk silika tidak memberikan pengaruh yang nyata pada setiap pengamatan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strategies employed by Riung Panyaungan, a pioneer of Sundanese cuisine in Bandung Regency, established in 1997. The primary focus is to identify existing strategies, evaluate their effectiveness, and provide strategic recommendations to enhance competitive advantage. The methods used include Porter’s Five Forces and Brand Image analysis with a Likert scale. The results indicate that Riung Panyaungan employs a brand identity and marketing-focused strategy, which has proven effective in maintaining operational efficiency and business resilience. The recommended strategy is differentiation to strengthen competitive advantage and sustain its position in the culinary market. Abstract

Indonesia merupakan salah satu produsen kopi terbesar dunia yang memiliki perkebunan di beberapa provinsi yang ada di Sumatera, Jawa dan Sulawesi. Sektor kopi menjadi komoditas ekspor unggulan guna mendukung perekonomian, namun dipengaruhi faktor makroekonomi seperti produktivitas, inflasi, nilai tukar, dan PDB yang memengaruhi daya saing global. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh produktivitas, inflasi, nilai tukar, dan Produk Domestik Bruto (PDB) terhadap nilai ekspor kopi Indonesia. Data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder dari periode 2000 hingga 2023, yang bersumber dari Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS), Bank Indonesia, Kementerian Pertanian, dan Kementerian Perdagangan. Metode analisis menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan model regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa produktivitas dan nilai tukar memiliki pengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap nilai ekspor kopi tetapi, inflasi dan PDB memberikan pengaruh positif signifikan. Koefisien determinasi sebesar 90,7% menunjukkan bahwa keempat variabel independen secara bersama-sama mempengaruhi nilai ekspor kopi. Penelitian ini memberikan pemahaman yang lebih mendalam terkait pengaruh faktor-faktor terhadap kinerja ekspor kopi Indonesia, yang dapat menjadi dasar rekomendasi kebijakan untuk meningkatkan daya saing kopi di pasar internasional. Kata kunci: Ekspor Kopi, Inflasi, Nilai Tukar, PDB, Produktivitas Indonesia is one of the world's largest coffee producers with plantations in several provinces in Sumatra, Java and Sulawesi. The coffee sector is a leading export commodity to support the economy, but is influenced by macroeconomic factors such as productivity, inflation, exchange rates, and GDP that affect global competitiveness. This study aims to analyze the effect of productivity, inflation, exchange rates, and Gross Domestic Product (GDP) on the value of Indonesian coffee exports. The data used is secondary data from the period 2000 to 2023, sourced from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), Bank Indonesia, the Ministry of Agriculture, and the Ministry of Trade. The analysis method uses a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression models. The results showed that productivity and exchange rate had a significant negative effect on the value of coffee exports but inflation and GDP had a significant positive effect. The coefficient of determination of 90.7% indicates that the four independent variables together affect the value of coffee exports. This study provides a deeper understanding of the influence of factors on Indonesia's coffee export performance, which can be the basis for policy recommendations to improve coffee competitiveness in the international market. Abstract

The study aims to determine the effect of the combination of Benziyl Amino Purine (BAP) and Naphtalene Acetic Acid (NAA) on the growth of Potato Subculture (Solanum tuberosum L.) Granola Variety Using the In Vitro Method, so that good potato seeds are obtained. This research was conducted at the Potato Seed Center (BBK) Laboratory, Sukamanah Village, Pangalengan District, Bandung Regency. West Java Province. This study used an experimental method with a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) Factorial pattern, consisting of 9 treatments and 3 replications. The first factor is the concentration of Benzyl Amino Purine or BAP (B) which consists of 3 treatment levels, namely: b1 = BAP 1 mg / l b2 = BAP 1.5 mg / l b3 = BAP 2 mg / l. The second factor is the concentration of Naphthalene Acetic Acid or NAA (N) which consists of 3 treatment levels, namely: n1 = NAA 0.1 mg/l n2 = NAA 0.3 mg/l n3 = NAA 0.5 mg/l. The parameters observed were the Number of Leaves, Number of Roots, and Number of Shoots. The results showed that there was an interaction between BAP and NAA treatments on the number of roots in the b1n3 and b2n3 treatments

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui interaksi dalam pemberian pupuk kandang ayam dan pupuk daun Growmore, serta untuk memperoleh dosis yang dapat memberikan pengaruh paling baik terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil Tanaman Bawang Daun (Allium fistulosum L.) Varietas Jafra. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Kampung Cirawa, Desa Cibeureum, Kecamatan Kertasari, Kabupaten Bandung, Provinsi Jawa Barat. Ketinggian tempat ± 1500 m di atas permukaan laut,  Dengan curah hujan 2354,2 mm/tahun termasuk curah hujan tipe agroklimat C3 menurut Oldeman. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) pola faktorial dengan 3 kali ulangan. Faktor I: pupuk kandang ayam (k1= kontrol, k2= 15 ton/ha, k3= 30 ton/ha).  Faktor II:  Pupuk daun Growmore (g1= kontrol, g2= 2 gram/l, g3= 4 gram/l). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa tidak terjadi interaksi antar pemberian pupuk kandang ayam dan pupuk daun Growmore terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman bawang daun. Pengaruh mandiri  pemberian pupuk kandang ayam 30 ton/ha memberikan pengaruh yang lebih baik dan berbeda nyata terhadap bobot bawang daun pertanaman dan bobot bawang daun perplot varietas Jafra

Abstract

Tilapia is a widely cultivated freshwater fish species in Indonesia, with well-established cultivation technology and high production levels. Among the commonly farmed varieties are black tilapia and red tilapia. The market potential for tilapia remains significant, both domestically and internationally, especially in fillet form, with export destinations including the United States, Europe, the Middle East, and Hong Kong. This study aims to analyze the economic feasibility of red tilapia grow-out farming at P4S Al-Mukhlis by identifying (1) the total cost and revenue generated, (2) the profitability of the business, and (3) the break-even point (BEP) of the operation. The research was conducted from February to April 2023 at P4S Al-Mukhlis, Banjaran, using a quantitative descriptive approach with purposive sampling. Data collection was carried out through interviews, discussions, and field observations. The results showed that the total production cost amounted to Rp 11,076,027.75, while revenue reached Rp 17,745,000 from the production of 507 kg of red tilapia. The R/C ratio was 1.60, indicating a profit of Rp 0.60 for every Rp 1.00 invested, thus confirming the business’s profitability. The break-even point was achieved at a production volume of 214 kg, with a selling price of Rp 21,800 per kg, requiring a minimum revenue of Rp 7,472,400. These findings demonstrate that red tilapia grow-out farming at P4S Al-Mukhlis is economically viable and profitable.

Abstract

The Citarum Harum Program is a government initiative to rehabilitate and preserve the Citarum River, which is known as one of the dirtiest rivers in the world. One of the important strategies in this program is the application of the zero waste principle at the household level, especially in Sector 6 of Bandung Regency. This study examines efforts to process household waste as part of implementing the zero waste program in the area. The research method used is a qualitative-descriptive approach through field observations, interviews with residents and stakeholders, and documentation studies. The results of the study indicate that public education, provision of waste sorting facilities, and collaboration between the government, community, and residents are key factors in the success of waste processing. Processing organic waste through composting and utilizing inorganic waste into goods of economic value has been proven to reduce the volume of waste disposed of at the landfill. And for residual waste, it is used as paving blocks that have an economic selling value. Although there are still challenges such as low community participation evenly and limited facilities, the efforts made show a positive direction towards sustainable waste management. These findings are expected to be a reference for the development of community-based waste management policies in other areas.

Abstract

Serangga adalah salah satu organisme dengan tingkat keanekaragaman spesies tertinggi di dunia. Kampus Universitas Sali Al-Aitaam berada di Desa Cipagalo Kabupaten Bandung yang dikelilingi oleh berbagai tipe ekosistem, seperti persawahan, ladang, kebun, dan permukiman. Area di Desa Cipagalo banyak mengalami perubahan penggunaan lahan dari pertanian menjadi permukiman. Adanya perubahan fungsi lahan ini menciptakan kondisi ekosistem yang majemuk sekaligus dinamis yang dapat memengaruhi keragaman spesies serangga yang hidup di dalamnya. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi lapangan dengan pengumpulan data serangga secara langsung untuk mengetahui keragaman populasi serangga menggunakan perangkap likat kuning dan perangkap atraktan berbasis feromon seks. Pengamatan terhadap efektivitas perangkap dilakukan selama 96 jam setelah pemasangan. Serangga yang tertangkap kemudian diidentifikasi hingga tingkat spesies. Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan, jumlah spesies serangga pada perangkap likat kuning lebih beragam dibandingkan dengan perangkap atraktan. Perangkap likat kuning memerangkap 13 spesies serangga yang terdiri atas 8 spesies hama, 2 spesies predator, 1 spesies pollinator, dan 2 spesies pengurai. Perangkap atraktan hanya memerangkap 4 spesies hama. Berdasarkan Indeks Kekayaan Jenis Margalef (R1), perangkap likat kuning menunjukkan nilai 1,6 dan perangkap atraktan menunjukkan nilai 0,5. Artinya, kekayaan spesies termasuk ke dalam kategori rendah. Berdasarkan Indeks Kesamaan Jenis Jaccard (Cj) menunjukkan nilai 0,308 yang berarti tingkat kesamaan spesies serangga pada kedua perangkap relatif rendah. Hasil pengamatan pada kedua   perangkap menunjukkan lingkungan Kampus Universitas Sali Al-Aitaam memiliki struktur habitat yang kompleks dan mendukung keragaman fungsi serangga.

Abstract

The aims of this research is to determine the interaction between chicken manure dose and NPK (16:16:16) and also to obtain the dose that can give the best effect on the growth and yield of potato plants (Solanum tuberosum L.) Varieties of Granola. The research was carried out on August to November 2020, in Pangkalan Kamojang, Laksana Village, Ibun District, Bandung Regency, West Java with an altitude of 1.500 m above sea level. This research used a factorial randomized block design (RBD) with 3 replications. Factor I: Dose of chicken manure (k1 = 5 tons/ha, k2 = 10 tons/ha, k3 = 15 tons/ha). Factor II: Dose of NPK 16:16:16 (n1 = 350 kg/ha, n2 = 400 kg/ha, n3 = 450 kg/ha). The results showed that there was an interaction between the dose of chicken manure and NPK (16:16:16) on the weight of tubers per plant. The best results were shown by the combination of k3n2 treatment (15 ton/ha chicken manure dose and 400 kg/ha NPK 16:16:16). Dose treatment of chicken manure gave effect on plant height, number of stems, number and weight of tubers per plant, and tuber weight per plot.
