Abstract

Learning media development is a way to solve an early childhood learning problem in improving children's moral behavior. The purpose of this study was to determine the needs of teachers in developing a three-dimensional media simulation game model in kindergarten to improve children's moral aspects. The method used in this research is a qualitative method using interviews and observations as research instruments. There are several important points in the findings of this study, namely (1) children's moral abilities are still lacking, (2) the ability of teachers to package material about children's morals in kindergarten is also lacking, and (3) teachers need a game model for children that is interesting and fun. Therefore, it is necessary for teachers to design a three-dimensional media simulation game model that can improve children's moral abilities.

Abstract

In running a business owned by an individual, it can be said to be successful if after a certain period of time the business experiences an increase in capital, profits or management in controlling costs. This research aims to find out whether controlling operational costs can increase profits at Tegoeh Djaja Konveksi Screen Printing. This research is a type of qualitative descriptive research, primary data obtained through interviews and literature review. The research method used in this research is a qualitative method, namely describing or describing the research results according to the conditions that occurred at the Tegoeh Djaja Konveksi Screen Printing. The research results obtained show that controlling operational costs cannot efficiently increase profits at Tegoeh Djaja Konveksi Screen Printing.

Abstract

This research focuses on the role of social entrepreneurship in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Indonesia. Indonesia faces social, economic, and environmental challenges that require innovative and sustainable approaches. Social entrepreneurship, with a progressive focus on creating positive social and environmental impacts, offers a potential path to facilitate progress. This qualitative research assesses the impacts, challenges, and supporting factors of social entrepreneurship in Indonesia, as well as its alignment with certain SDGs, tangible contributions, motivations, and challenges faced by social entrepreneurs. The importance of a supportive ecosystem, diverse funding sources, and supportive policies is emphasized to harness the full potential of social entrepreneurship in driving sustainable development.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of Regional Expenditures, Human Development Index (HDI), Labor Force and Domestic Investment on the Economic Growth of Districts/Cities in Gorontalo Province. The data used is secondary data, this research uses panel data which combines time series and cross section data. The research object consists of 6 districts/cities in Gorontalo Province for the 2017-2022 period. Then the data obtained was analyzed in this research using Eviews 12. The conclusion in this research is that there is a positive and significant influence between Regional Expenditures, Human Development Index (HDI), and Domestic Investment on Economic Growth, and there is no influence between the workforce on the economic growth of districts/cities in Gorontalo province in 2017-2022.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of supervision and work discipline on the performance of employees of PT. Lutvindo Wijaya Perkasa Pekanbaru. The research method used is quantitative. The sample of this study was 57 respondents, using data collection techniques using questionnaires. The data obtained was analyzed through linear regression analysis with the SPSS program. The results showed: (1) There is a significant influence of supervision on the employee performance of PT Lutvindo Wijaya Perkasa Pekanbaru. Obtained t-count value of 8.242> t-table 1.673 with a significant 0.000 <0.05. The results of simple linear regression analysis show that if supervision increases by 0.820, it will increase employee performance by 4.544 constantly. (2) There is a significant influence of work discipline on the performance of employees of PT. Lutvindo Wijaya Perkasa Pekanbaru. Obtained a t-count value of 7.818> t table 1.673 with a significant 0.000 <0.05. The results of simple linear regression analysis show that if work discipline increases by 0.801, it will increase employee performance by 4.010 constantly. (3)

Abstract

Social media has evolved into a communication tool that promotes inclusivity, allowing persons with disabilities to share a variety of messages with their audiences. @jennifernatalie_ is a deaf Social Media Influencer (SMI) who uses TikTok to share sign language-related educational content. Despite her difficulty talking verbally, @jennifernatalie_ is capable of generating quite high levels of engagement with her followers. The goal of this study is to analyze @jennifernatalie_'s sign language educational content in terms of creating engagement with followers along five characteristics that support SMI communications. This study used a qualitative study content analysis methodology. The research data was gathered by assessing the content of short videos on TikTok @jennifernatalie_ and enhanced by literature reviews from various sources relevant to the research issues. The findings showed that @jennifernatalie_ was capable of presenting the five dimensions of SMI communications to generate engagement through her educational TikTok posts.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of career development and perceived organizational support (POS) on employee retention through employee performance at PT. Graha Agung Perkasa. The type of research carried out in this research is quantitative. The population in this study were employees from PT. Graha Agung Perkasa, totaling 100 respondents. The sample collection technique used the Slovin formula which obtained 50 respondents. The research results showed that career development had a significant effect on employee retention, perceived organizational support (POS) had a significant effect on employee retention, career development had a significant effect on employee performance, perceived organizational support (POS) has an effect but is not significant on employee performance, and employee retention has a significant effect on employee performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine the influence of organizational culture, locus of control, organizational citizenship behavior, and employee performance. The research design employed quantitative method using explanatory research approach. The sample comprised the entire population, totaling 170 participants. Data was collected through questionnaire surveys. Data analysis was conducted using SmartPLS 4.0, involving three stages: outer model, inner model, and hypothesis testing. The conclusion drawn from this study is that organizational culture, locus of control, and organizational citizenship behavior have a positive and significant impact on employee performance.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of work dicipline and employee work environment at the Mona Plaza Hotel Pekanbaru. The research method used is quantitative. The sample for this research was 32 employees with data collection techniques using questionnaires. The data obtained was analyzed through linear regression analysis with the SPSS program. The research results show; (1) There is a significant influence of work discipline on employee work productivity at the Mona Plaza Hotel Pekanbaru. The obtained tcount value > ttable or 8.361 > 1,697 with a significance of 0,000 < 0,05. The results of simple linear regression analysis show that if work discipline increases by 0,403, it will increase the work productivity of Mona Plaza Hotel Pekanbaru employees by 7,211 constantly. (2) There is a significant influence of the work environment on employee work productivity at Mona Plaza Hotel Pekanbaru. The work environment variable has a calculated tcount value > ttable or 6,873 > 1,697 with a significance of 0,000 < 0,05. The results of simple linear regression analysis show that if the work environment increases by 0,757, it will increase employee productivity at Mona Plaza Hotel Pekanbaru by 5,085 constantly. (3) There is an influence of work discipline and work environment on employee work productivity at the Mona Plaza Hotel Pekanbaru. From the results of the F test, it is known that the value of Fcount > Ftable is 42,988 > 3,32 with a significance value of 0,000 < 0,05.

Abstract

Fire preparedness is an emergency response effort to the danger of fire. Low fire preparedness can result in large losses from fire incidents. This research aims to determine the factors related to fire preparedness among employees at the Kenali Besar Community Health Center. This research is a quantitative study with a cross-sectional design. Carried out in February 2024 with a population of 63 employees. Samples were taken using the total sampling technique. Research analysis uses the chi-square test. The results of statistical tests show that there is a relationship between knowledge and fire preparedness (p= 0.007) and infrastructure and fire preparedness (p= 0.009). It was concluded that the factors related to preparedness among Kenali Besar Community Health Center employees were knowledge and infrastructure. There is a need to increase knowledge and infrastructure as well as carry out regular training and supervision for community health centers.
