Abstract

This article was conducted to find out the implementation of the partnership program on the Creating Shared Value (CSV) concept of PT Industri Jamu Dan Farmasi Sido Muncul Tbk on cardamom farmers and what activities are carried out during the community empowerment program at the Kridoyuwono Farmer Group in Sambirata Village, Cilongok District, Banyumas Regency. This program aims to empower ginger farmers as raw material suppliers, especially cardamom commodities. One of the obstacles faced by the farmer group is the post-harvest drying process. This is due to unfavorable weather with high rainfall of 3000 mm/year (Source: BPS 2017), resulting in a disrupted drying process which in turn cannot dry the cardamom perfectly and has the potential to rot, which results in lower selling prices. The method used is a survei through social mapping, planning, and evaluation monitoring. Based on the results of the village potential analysis, there is a Micro Hydro Power Plant (PLTMH) that can be utilized as an energy source for the drying machine. With this drying machine, the post-harvest process becomes more effective and the quality of cardamom can match the raw material standards set by Sido Muncul. This program is expected to improve farmers' economy and increase farmers' resources related to cardamom cultivation.

Abstract

Klayas Village is one of the daerah terpencils in the Seget District which is the Ring 1 area of Company X. Most of the Klayas community is the Moi Tribe indigenous people who make their living from the sago forest. Since its establishment in 1997, Company X has actively and routinely carried out charity-based CSR activities in Klayas Village. Since 2019, the CSR program of Company X has changed in concept from Charity to a sustainable CSR program which consists of various activities. The people of Klayas Village have difficulty adapting to the new CSR scheme, resulting in resistance. In addition, the implemented program is not in accordance with community habits. In response to this rejection, in 2020, Company X implemented a strategy of approaching local wisdom and traditional culture of the Moi Tribe to increase community enthusiasm. This has proven to be more effective in increasing community participation. It can be seen from the programs implemented in 2020 that are still relevant and sustainable until 2022. The number of beneficiaries is much larger and more comprehensive. This strategy can also increase cohesiveness between the company-community and between members of the community itself.

Abstract

Sabang City, Aceh Province has marine capture fisheries production reaching 5,150 tons in 2015 (BPS Aceh, 2015). The fishing profession is one of the professions of the majority of the population. Despite having abundant catches, fishermen in this village still carry out simple fish production. The caught fish is sold and if it does not sell well it is smoked for resale. This fish processing process has not optimally provided economic value to the community and provided excess carbon emissions. Seeing this potential and problem, PT Pertamina (Persero) MOR I Fuel Terminal Sabang conducts an economic empowerment program for fish management in the form of providing capital and business facilities, providing business development assistance, entrepreneurial training, and business assistance. The program is evaluated to determine economic, social, and environmental impacts with a descriptive qualitative research approach. The result of this research is that the fish processing economic empowerment program carried out by PT Pertamina (Persero) MOR I Fuel Terminal Sabang has a significant impact on the economic, social, and environmental sectors. The economic impact can be seen from the economic addition of fishermen of the Pepper Garden Group (Kkemer) of Rp8,000,0000 per month from fish processing in the form of raw and fried crackers, fish chips, nuggets, and other processed fish products. Socially, the impact of this empowerment program is the creation of a system of work/management of fish products which was originally carried out individually into groups, has group independence that can carry out production functions consistently and active involvement of stakeholders. While the positive environmental impact is shown by reducing carbon emissions in the air by 105 Kg CO2 per month resulting from changing fish processing by tapping into drying and frying.

Abstract

Pagar Dewa Village is located in Lubai Ulu District, Muara Enim Regency, South Sumatra Province, with vast natural potential for rubber plantations. In line with this condition, the majority of the community in Pagar Dewa Village works as rubber farmers. However, the potential has not been fully realized to its maximum benefit by the rubber farmers in Pagar Dewa Village. Various issues are faced by rubber farmers, ranging from the increase in non-subsidized fertilizer prices, the absence of fertilization for the past three years, limited information available to rubber farmers, to the threat of forest and land fires. In response to these issues, PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk - Pagardewa Gas Compressor Station, through its CSR program, has implemented a community empowerment program based on rubber farmers. The program, titled "Self-Reliant, Alert, Resilient, and Prosperous Rubber Farmers" (MAS TANI MAPAN), began by reviving the farmer cooperative that had experienced a non-active phase and assisting in managing the institution. It also developed the cooperative into fertilizer, seed, and honey working groups (Pokja Pupuk, Pokja Bibit, and Pokja Madu). This program also enhances the capacity of rubber farmers through training in seedling cultivation and organic fertilizer production for rubber trees.

Abstract

Digital marketing is an effort to market products and services to consumers through digital media which is widely used by almost every group. Empowerment through digital marketing accompanied by startup Ecokarsa helps the Sanggar Rojolele farmer group in Delanggu village to introduce their harvest, namely Rojolele rice. Rojolele rice is a special premium rice variety that is difficult to market conventionally. With digital marketing, Rojolele rice can be found by the right consumers and can be fully absorbed. Utilizing digital marketing, the Sanggar Rojolele farmer group can experience significant profits by selling rice with operational costs calculated compared to previously only selling grain to middlemen at low prices. Intense training and mentoring were carried out by startup Ecokarsa for one year to guide the Sanggar Rojolele farmer group with the hope that after one year of mentoring, Sanggar Rojolele could market Rojolele rice products independently. Mentoring and training activities do not only focus on products but also on introducing villages and rice cultivation activities, with the hope that Delanggu village can be widely known.
