Abstract

The research aims at investigating whether the application of the Admit and Exit Slips teaching technique can improve the writing skill of the students of class BI 4.2 STKIP YPUP Makassar. The research used the pre-experimental method by performing a pre-test and post-test. The populations were the students of class BI 4.2 STKIP YPUP Makassar. The samples were as many as 20 students. The independent samples t-test indicates a significant improvement group after the treatment (the t-observed value and the sig.tailed are lower than 0.05 in the significance level of 2.093<12.22). this shows that the mean score of the post-test is greater than the pre-test (77.7>68.4). The improvement can also be seen in the five components in writing namely: the content, vocabulary, language use, organization, and mechanics. In which result of the post-test is greater than the pre-test. This implies that the students’ writing skill gets better. It can be concluded that the Admit and Exit Slips teaching technique can improve the students’ writing skill and this offers a significant pedagogical implication that needs to be empowered by Indonesian EFL teachers.

Abstract

Intisari— Dalam bidang jasa, kepuasan pelanggan adalah prioritas utama yang harus dicapai perusahaan. Oleh karena itu, untuk mencapai kepuasan pelanggan serta bersaing dengan perusahaan kompetitor, perusahaan harus memberikan pelayanan yang berkualitas dan memastikan pelanggan merasa puas dengan pelayanan yang diberikan. Salah satu cara untuk pengendalian kualitas disebuah perusahaan yaitu dengan menggunakan metode Six Sigma. Six Sigma merupakan metode perbaikan kualitas secara menyeluruh dengan memfokuskan pada langkah define, measure, analyze, improve dan control (DMAIC). Dalam penelitian ini, ada tiga jenis pelayanan yang diteliti diantaranya yaitu, premium wash, private wash, dan coating and auto detailing. Dari tiga jenis pelayanan ini akan lebih berfokus kepada pelayanan coating and auto detailing karena pelayanan lainnya sudah merupakan bagian pelayanan yang berada didalam pelayanan coating and auto detailing. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Oktober - November 2021 dengan menyebarkan kuesioner menggunakan google docs kepada 110 responden. Berdasarkan hasil kuesioner, terdapat 3 CTQ (Critical To Quality) yang menjadi poin utama untuk mencapai kepuasan pelanggan yaitu, ketahanan coating tidak awet, body tidak kinclong dan body tidak detail. Setelah dianalisis menggunakan diagram poreto CTQ ketahanan coating tidak awet menjadi prioritas utama untuk dilakukan perbaikan. Sementara, penyebab-penyebab dari kecacatan pelayanan sebagian besar dilakukan oleh faktor manusia. Diantaranya, tidak memperhatikan SOP (Standar Operasional Prosedur), Kurangnya pelatihan kepada karyawan, serta penyimpanan bahan dan alat kerja yang tidak rapih sehingga menyebabkan kecacatan pada bahan coating itu sendiri. Solusi yang diberikan untuk permasalahan yang terjadi yaitu, perbaikan kualitas menggunakan Kaizen Five M-Checklist serta pengandalian kualitas menggunakan Kaizen Five Step Plan. Abstract— In the service sector, customer satisfaction is a top priority that must be achieved by the company. Therefore, to achieve customer satisfaction and compete with competing companies, companies must provide quality services and ensure customers are satisfied with the services provided. One way to control quality in a company is to use the Six Sigma method. Six Sigma is a comprehensive quality improvement method by focusing on define, measure, analyze, improve and control (DMAIC) steps. In this study, there are three types of services studied including premium wash, private wash, and coating and auto detailing. Of these three types of services, they will focus more on coating and auto detailing services because other services are already part of the services that are in the coating and auto detailing service. This research was conducted in October - November 2021 by distributing questionnaires using google docs to 110 respondents. Based on the results of the questionnaire, there are 3 CTQ (Critical To Quality) which are the main points to achieve customer satisfaction, namely, the durability of the coating is not durable, the body is not shiny and the body is not detailed. After being analyzed using a CTQ poreto diagram, the durability of the non-durable coating is a top priority for improvement. Meanwhile, the causes of service defects are mostly carried out by human factors. Among them, not paying attention to SOP (Standard Operating Procedures), lack of training for employees, and storage of materials and work tools that are not neat, causing defects in the coating material itself. The solutions given to the problems that occur are, quality improvement using the Kaizen Five M-Checklist and quality control using the Kaizen Five Step Plan.

Abstract

Tude (kerang laut) tidak dimanfaatkan serta minimnya pengetahuan Masyarakat tentang pengolahan kerang laut sehingga tidak di konsumsi sebagai makanan yang bergizi, peneliti memberikan pengetahuan kelompok bunga mekar tentang analisis produksi, pemasaran serta analisis swot, dan pengolahan kerang laut. Adapun solusi yang ditawarkan yaitu: 1) pemberian pelatihan dan pendampingan pengolahan kerang laut menjadi produk (kerupuk), dan pemasaran.; 2) pengenalan pengolahan kerang laut menjadi produk (kerupuk) dapat membantu meningkatan perekonomian masyarakat dan menjadi pendapatan tambahan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between educators' digital literacy skills and the creativity of teaching educators at state vocational high schools in Gowa Regency. This study applies a survey method that is correlational with a quantitative approach. The population in the study were educators with the status of civil servants in 5 state vocational high schools in Gowa Regency and as many as 70 educators who were sampled through the proportional random sampling technique in each population unit to obtain research data. This research used a Likeart scale questionnaire that has been validated and meets the reliability requirements. The data analysis technique to achieve the research objectives uses inferential statistics, namely simple correlation analysis. The results of the study reveal that, based on the Pearson correlation value obtained from a simple correlation analysis of 0.731 with a positive direction and sig.p 0.00 < (0.05) which gives an understanding that there is a significant relationship between educators' digital literacy skills and educators' teaching creativity at State Vocational High School in Gowa district, and obtained a coefficient of determination of 53%, which means that 53% of the total variance of the values ​​of educators' teaching creativity can be explained by the values ​​of educators' digital literacy skills.

Abstract

This research aims to design a spare part integration system using a VBA Excel application as a solution to expedite the search process in a spare part warehouse in Tangerang. The main problems encountered include lengthy search times due to disorganized layouts and the absence of an adequate support system. The methods used include downtime analysis, redesign of spare part rack layouts, and development of a VBA-based search application. The results show that the proposed system significantly reduces spare part search times and improves the warehouse's operational efficiency (Integration system, spare parts, VBA Excel, efficiency.).

Abstract

Klayas Village is one of the daerah terpencils in the Seget District which is the Ring 1 area of ​​Company X. Most of the Klayas community is the Moi Tribe indigenous people who make their living from the sago forest. Since its establishment in 1997, Company X has actively and routinely carried out charity-based CSR activities in Klayas Village. Since 2019, the CSR program of Company X has changed in concept from Charity to a sustainable CSR program which consists of various activities. The people of Klayas Village have difficulty adapting to the new CSR scheme, resulting in resistance. In addition, the implemented program is not in accordance with community habits. In response to this rejection, in 2020, Company X implemented a strategy of approaching local wisdom and traditional culture of the Moi Tribe to increase community enthusiasm. This has proven to be more effective in increasing community participation. It can be seen from the programs implemented in 2020 that are still relevant and sustainable until 2022. The number of beneficiaries is much larger and more comprehensive. This strategy can also increase cohesiveness between the company-community and between members of the community itself.

Abstract

Gayo customs emphasizes the values ​​of mutual cooperation and religiosity. The ritual of "sintê môrep” illustrates this reality. However, consumerism has threatened an identity and social integration, such as at wedding receptions. This study employs a qualitative approach to explore the changing process of the kenduri "sintê mungêrjê" into a party culture in wedding receptions at the Gayo Lôt community. The study reveals reification has encouraged changes in the meaning of Gayo traditions. The shift occurred from the denotative level to the connotative level. The consumption culture of weddings developed as a design of consumerization by wedding organizer in Central Aceh Districtand was supported by party simulations through television and social media. Simulacrum works because Gayonese prefer tocall "party" to "sintê mungêrjê" (the local term). The party culture was triggered by the weakening of the village structure supported by degradation of understanding of the Gayo customs, the Gayo language that hasgradually been abandoned by native speakers, urban development, information technology, the strengthening of money logic, the changing in the type of work from agrarian to formal, and cultural assimilation and acculturation.

Abstract

Since everything in this world is mortal and ultimately ends, life here is valuable for making a positive contribution. Early in life, one must obtain an educational or learning process to contribute positively. SDS Kartini is a service industrial institution in the basic education field, which consists of six levels or grades. However, in the implementation, the development of students in grades I and II at SDS Kartini is still less than optimal. Next, since human resources are mostly involved in the learning process performances, the poka yoke method is used to prepare the improvement solution. Then, at the procedure of the poka yoke method, there is a stage for choosing the best solution. The analytical hierarchy process (AHP) method can be applied to determine the best solution. Based on the opinions of several education practitioners (class teacher, Chairman of Foundation, and school accreditation assessor) and the calculations using the analytical hierarchy process (AHP) method, the best solution obtained is that the teacher must establish good relationships with the parents or guardians of the students. To reach that goal, a standard operating procedure (SOP) or workflow focused on optimizing attendance records has been proposed. That proposed solution is named "HADIR", where "HADIR" stands for harmonization, assistance, declaration, inspection, and repetition.

Abstract

Program Pelaksanaan Pengabdian Masyarakat dilakukan bekerja sama dengan SMK Karmel yang berlokasi di Permata, Kuta Jaya, Kec. Pasar Kemis, Kabupaten Tangerang. Kegiatan ini dihadiri oleh sekitar 20 siswa kelas XII yang mendapatkan pelatihan tentang desain grafis menggunakan Canva. Pelatihan ini bermaksud untuk membantu siswa mengembangkan kemampuan desain yang terkait dengan kebutuhan di era komputerisasi. Dalam dunia yang semakin maju secara teknologi, kemampuan untuk menggunakan alat seperti Canva menjadi penting bagi siswa SMK, karena dapat meningkatkan pemahaman mereka tentang teknologi dan keterampilan desain. Pelatihan ini dirancang agar peserta mampu menguasai Canva, baik untuk kebutuhan pendidikan maupun kegiatan sosial. Dengan menggunakan metode pengajaran yang interaktif dan pendekatan praktis, pelatihan ini dapat menjelaskan materi dengan jelas dan sederhana. memungkinkan peserta untuk dengan cepat menguasai konsep-konsep yang diajarkan. Dengan keterampilan ini, diharapkan siswa dapat menghasilkan konten visual yang mendukung proses pembelajaran dan berkontribusi dalam aktivitas sosial. Selain itu, program ini juga menyoroti pentingnya adaptasi teknologi dalam desain grafis untuk meningkatkan daya saing lembaga pendidikan di era digital. Penguasaan alat desain seperti Canva memberikan siswa kemampuan untuk menggali potensinya lebih dalam dan berperan sebagai agen perubahan di tengah dunia yang terus berkembang pesat secara teknologi. Aktivitas ini tidak saja memberikan keterampilan teknis, melainkan juga menginspirasi siswa untuk berpikir kreatif dan inovatif dalam memanfaatkan teknologi untuk mencapai tujuan mereka. Adapun Hasil penilaian terhadap kegiatan pelatihan secara keseluruhan. sebanyak 50% peserta pelatihan menilai bahwa secara keseluruhan pelatihan sudah memuaskan, 16,7% memberikan penilaian sangat memuaskan, dan 25,3% menyatakan cukup dan 8,3% menyatakan sangat tidak memuaskan.

Abstract

Banyaknya faktor risiko menyebabkan penyakit diare pada bayi dan balita di indonesia salah satu faktor risiko yang sering di teliti adalah faktor lingkungan yang meliputi sarana air bersih, sanitasi dan jamban. Serta kurangnya strategi dalam mengatasi kejadian diare menyebabkan meningkatnya angka kejadian diare tiap tahunnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor yang paling dominan terhadap kejadian diare, dan Strategi dalam mengatasi kejadian diare pada balita di Kota Parepare. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tentang Program Strategi Dalam Mereduksi Angka Kejadian Diare Pada Balita di kota Parepare. Instrumen dalam penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuesioner dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 16 responden diantaranya, lembaga pemerintah, penyuluh kesehatan, petugas puskesmas, perguruan tinggi dengan menggunakan metode Analisis Interpretative Structural Modelling (ISM). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari hasil analisis interpretatif struktural modelling dalam mereduksi angka kejadian diare pada balita di Kota Parepare bahwa faktor yang dominan berperan yaitu (1)ASI Eksklusif, (2) Penyimpanan bahan makanan, (3)Penyajian makanan dan Strategi untuk mengatasi kejadian diare yaitu (1)Pelaksanaan pelayanan kesehatan (2)Pelaksanaan program pencegahan dan pemberantasan penyakit diare, (3)Pengembangan sistem kewaspadaan dini, (4)Penemuan dan pengobatan penderita. Untuk lebih meningkatkan strategi dalam mereduksi angka kejadian diare pada balita serta melakukan sosialisasi mengenai pengetahuan tentang diare pada balita dimulai dari pengenalan penyakit sampai pencegahannya.
