Abstract

This research focuses on how job climate and employability affect employee performance.  The stratified random sampling method was used to select 99 employees. Research resultsshowed that ability and organizational environment simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on employee performance, with a coefficient of determination of 80.1%. Coefficient of determination of 80.1%. In addition, company capabilities and organizational environment affect employee performance partially and significantly. Apparently, of the two influential variables, the ability variable has the greatest influence. influence. Increasing work ability through training that is more in line with training is needed to improve employee performance. Relationships between individuals should also be improved to improve the work environment

Abstract

This study aims to find and analyze the impact of leadership, work environment, motivation, and job satisfaction for improving lecturers' competence at STKIP Babunnajah Pandeglang, which still has a relatively low level of skills. The study is quantitative with a total sample of 65 respondents. In this study, lecturer competency is the dependent variable, and independent variables include leadership, organizational environment, drive, and job satisfaction. To measure the variables, lecturers' perceptions were used to fill in a Likert scale. Data were analyzed by linear regression with two lines using SPSS 22. As a result of the calculation, the feasibility test and classical assumptions were performed on the model; the multiple linear regression equation was found: Y=-0.036+0.257 X1 + 0.019X2 + 0.106 X3 + 0.290 X4. The results prove that lecturer competence is positively and significantly influenced by 76.4 percent of all independent variables; motivation contributes positively but not significantly to lecturer ability; organizational environment, job satisfaction, and leadership also have a positive impact on lecturer competence. 23.6% are additional factors not addressed in this study

Abstract

The quality of education is always directly proportional to the quality of learning that involves a teacher and their students. Among the indicators of quality learning is the ability to develop the potential and talents of students. Therefore, learning activities must be planned and designed as best as possible, taking into consideration the students' basic competencies, the weight of the material, the supporting learning media, and most importantly, the method or model of learning that will be used. One of the problems that often occurs nowadays is the lack of active student involvement in the learning process, which leads to low learning motivation and weak creative abilities, ultimately affecting the learning outcomes that can be achieved by the students. Based on initial observations, the main causes of low motivation and learning outcomes are the use of monotonous and conventional learning methods and models, such as continuous lecturing. Therefore, based on this problem, there is a need for improvement to enhance student learning outcomes by using other methods, such as discovery learning. Thus, this classroom action research is conducted with the aim of improving and enhancing learning outcomes using the discovery learning model. The method used in this research is classroom action research, which is a form of reflective research conducted by teachers through specific actions to improve the process and learning outcomes of students. The subjects of this research are the seventh-grade students in the Islamic Education subject, totaling 21 students. Before conducting this action research, a pretest was conducted to determine the initial abilities of the students. The results of the pretest showed that the level of mastery was only 38%. After that, the implementation of the action was carried out, which involved the application of the discovery learning method in cycle I. During this activity, the researcher conducted observations with the assistance of a peer as an observer. The observation results in cycle I showed that the teacher's activity was 70.6% and the student's activity was 68.7%. Then, a test was conducted, and the results showed an improvement compared to before, with a mastery level of 70.6% and a good category. After reflection, the research process continued to cycle II to address the weaknesses and shortcomings identified in cycle I. In this stage, data collection was also conducted through observations and tests. The observation results showed that the teacher's activity was 95.3% with a very good category, while the student's activity was 90.6% with a 100% mastery level. Therefore, it can be concluded that the discovery learning model can improve student learning outcomes

Abstract

Being an innovative and creative teacher certainly requires great motivation. In this case, teachers need the right intake of knowledge and coaching to instill a sense of motivation. Thus, workshops are conducted for teachers as the target audience to measure the extent of teacher motivation and innovation in creating fun and fun learning. At the workshop stage, activities focused on mentoring partner teachers and prospective PIAUD and PGMI teachers in understanding the concept of fun and fun teachers. The next stage is for researchers to provide digital interview sheets to workshop participants to fill in as evaluation material for workshop activities. The questions given were related to the extent of understanding of workshop participants in creating fun and fun learning through workshop activities. Research data in the form of qualitative data with qualitative data analysis of Miles & Huberman. The existence of motivation and innovation as an output of the implementation of this workshop is expected to be a lasting positive value for teachers in creating and implementing learning that not only delivers material to students but can implement fun and friendly learning for children

Abstract

The existence of the martial art Pencak Silat is a form of local wisdom that exists in society as one of Indonesia's cultural heritage. The aim of this research is to determine the application of character education through pencak silat extracurricular activities to increase students' self-efficacy. The method used in this research is using a qualitative description method. The data analyzed is data from observations and interviews with pencak silat trainers. The results of this research show that, through the implementation of extracurricular pencak silat activities in schools, students' self-efficacy can be increased. This is demonstrated by the attitude of students who are brave in expressing opinions, have a good social spirit, are independent and tolerant

Abstract

The Baduy tribe is located in Kanekes Village on Mount Kendeng, where part of its territory is forest. This area is included in Banten Province, precisely in Lebak Regency, Leuidamar District. The Sundanese Indigenous people group consists of the Baduy Luar and Baduy Dalam Tribes. The Baduy Luar community is one that is experiencing quite rapid social change because basically this area has customary rules that are quite loose compared to the Baduy Dalam. Rumah Baca is a form of social change that has been formed in the Baduy Luar community. Rumah Baca is a reading community movement founded by Mulyono and Sarpin as a pillar of education for Baduy children in Kanekes Village, Lebak District, Banten. However, during the process of forming the reading community, there were still obstacles and challenges, both from within and outside the Baduy custom. The results of research conducted directly in the Baduy using the participation Action Research (PAR) method and SWOT analysis indicate that there are dominant factors as strengths and opportunities and inhibiting factors as weaknesses and challenges for the fluency of the reading community

Abstract

The background of this research is rooted in the importance of Extracurricular Scouting in helping to overcome student character problems. This extracurricular has a very significant role in educating and shaping the character of students. At present, we often encounter a lack of discipline in terms of student character, including disciplinary aspects related to time and performance, which affect the improvement of the character of students at MTs Mathla'ul Huda Parung Panjang Bogor. This study aims to see how Extracurricular Scouting can contribute to improving the character of students at MTs Mathla'ul Huda Parung Panjang Bogor. The purpose is to illustrate the influence of student character. This research is a type of descriptive research that uses a quantitative approach. The results showed the following: Extracurricular activities at MTs Mathla'ul Huda Parung Panjang Bogor were categorized as good. Descriptive statistics mean score of 113.42 standard deviations of 2.192 maximum or highest value of 117 minimum value of 208. The character of students at MTs Mathla'ul Huda Parung Panjang Bogor is categorized as good. Descriptive statistics: average score of 112.29, division standard 1.802, maximum score, highest score of 110, minimum score of 108. There is an influence of Scouting Extracurricular Activities on the Character Building of Students at MTs Mathla'ul Huda Parung Panjang Bogor with a significance of 0.000 < 0.05

Abstract

Human resource management plays a central role in general education, being a key factor in achieving organizational goals. Success in the field of education largely depends on the effective management of human resources, which are considered a key component of the entire organization's resources. This study aims to explore five key indicators used to assess the effectiveness and efficiency of human resource management in general education: recruitment, leadership, human resource development, remuneration, and evaluation. The research method involves the analysis of key aspects of human resource management in general educational institutions, with data obtained through literature observation as well as possible interviews or questionnaires. The results showed that these five indicators had a significant effect, with leadership being a key factor in shaping work culture. The conclusion of the study is that human resource management in general education plays an important role in achieving organizational goals, and leadership has a major impact in creating a work culture that supports optimal human resource development. Therefore, the role of the principal is very important in shaping and maintaining a work culture that encourages employee performance and development

Abstract

Student success in the learning process depends heavily on teacher strategies, efforts to increase student activity, and how to create a dynamic learning environment in the classroom. Effective classroom management can also contribute to achieving the desired learning objectives. It involves the role of various elements involved in the learning process. The purpose of this study is to identify the role of classroom management in increasing the learning activity of grade IV students in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Mathla'ul Anwar pilar sibanteng. This research applies qualitative research methods. The research was conducted at the Ibtidaiyah Mathla'ul Anwar Pilar sibanteng madrasah during the period, January 2023 to July 2023. Participants in this study consisted of 4 grade IV teachers, 2 homeroom teachers IV, 1 grade IV student, and 1 grade IV student. Data collection methods used include interviews, observation, and documentation, data presentation, as well as conclusion making and verification. The results showed that classroom management carried out by teachers includes several aspects, such as learning planning (RPP, Prosem, and Prota), providing facilities for teaching and learning activities, forming class organizational structures, scheduling pickets, and implementing monthly evaluations. The learning activity of grade IV students at MIMA Pilar is caused by several factors, such as the environment, family background, and teacher teaching methods. Greatly affects the learning effectiveness of IV students at MIMA Sibanteng pillar

Abstract

Management of education financing is an important role in school quality, especially with regard to educational facilities and infrastructure. Where the success of learning is supported by the utilization of effective and efficient facilities and infrastructure. And to be able to manage and improve educational facilities and infrastructure, schools need to conduct education financing management. The aim of this research is to determine and analyze education financing management in improving facilities and infrastructure at SDN Cemplang 01 Bogor. This research method uses qualitative research by collecting data from observations, interviews and documentation. The results of this research show: 1) The education financing management implemented at SDN Cemplang 01 is in accordance with management functions. 2) The condition of the facilities and infrastructure at the school is quite good although there are some that need improvement. 3)Management of education financing in improving facilities and infrastructure in schools is through School Based Management (MBS). Based on the results of research carried out at SDN Cemplang 01 Bogor, it can be concluded that this school can improve facilities and infrastructure based on government standards through well-organized financing management and the application of the school-based management model (MBS) concept in financing its education.
