Abstract

Penilaian merupakan elemen penting dalam sebuah proses pembelajaran. Bila proses pembelajaran memiliki sumbangsih besar dalam meningkatkan dan mengembangkan aspek spiritual peserta didik, maka evaluasi berfungsi dalam menyalurkan informasi untuk memberikan penilaian terhadap keberhasilan belajar peserta didik. Tanpa proses evaluasi, maka informasi tentang pelaksanaan pembelajaran peserta didik tidak akan diperoleh. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pertama, rencana evaluasi pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam dan Budi Pekerti (PAI-BP) kelas XII di SMA N 2 Plus Panyabungan. Kedua, mengetahui penerapan evaluasi pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam dan Budi Pekerti kelas XII di SMA N 2 Plus Panyabungan. Ketiga, mengetahui hasil dari evaluasi pembelajaran mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam dan Budi Pekerti kelas XII di SMA N 2 Plus Panyabungan dan feedback yang diperoleh. Penelitian ini berjenis kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Data yang ditemukan diolah dan dianalisis secara induktif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara, dokumentasi dan observasi. Hasil penelitian  menunjukkan bahwa pada tahap perencanaan evaluasi dirumuskan dalam bentuk rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran (RPP) yang menetapkan metode penilaian pada ranah kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik. Secara umum pelaksanaan evaluasi pembelajaran mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam dan Budi Pekerti telah berjalan sesuai dengan rencana dan rumusan yang telah ditetapkan dalam RPP. Namun dalam proses evaluasi masih belum dapat menyeimbangkan antara nilai kognitif, afektif dan psikomotorik dalam menginput nilai pada rapor.

Abstract

The development of formal education has encouraged some pesantren to improve their management. One sign of this progress is the establishment of the Santri Organization as a platform for kepesantrenan activities. The purpose of this study aims to understand the performance of the Santri Putri Organization (OSPI), the discipline of students, and the influence of OSPI performance on the discipline of grade 3 students at Nurul Iman Al-Hasanah Islamic Boarding School. This research method uses descriptive quantitative methods. Conducted from March to April 2023 at the Islamic Boarding School involving 45 respondents. Data was collected through questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis was performed using descriptive analysis and inferential statistics. The results showed a significant correlation between organizational performance and student discipline. The analysis also showed that organizational performance contributed 35.0% to student discipline. Conclusion Overall, the results showed that the performance of the student organization had a significant influence on the discipline of the students in the Islamic Boarding School.

Abstract

When the learning process is seen as a process of changing student behavior, the role of evaluating the learning process becomes very important. Therefore, this research will present the scope of Learning Process Evaluation and its five parts, namely Learning Planning Evaluation, Learning Implementation Evaluation, Learning Media Evaluation, Learning Method Evaluation, and Learning Assessment Evaluation as well as what are the obstacles during learning process evaluation in educational institutions. Islam goes on. The method used is the literature study method through collecting books, previous research and articles. The results show that the Learning Planning Evaluation was carried out using summative and formative evaluations, as well as revising the learning program. Evaluation of learning implementation by assessing classroom and student management as well as teacher management. Evaluation of Learning Media with formative evaluation and summative evaluation. Evaluate Learning Methods by assessing their suitability to basic competencies and learning outcomes, class or school conditions, students' level of development, teacher abilities, and time. Evaluation of Learning Assessment with assessment of learning achievement, performance, alternative, authentic and portfolio. The obstacles faced include a lack of teacher ability, skills and initiative, less varied learning methods, limited time, and a lack of collaboration between teachers in Islamic Education Institutions.

Abstract

Islamic boarding schools play a big role in forming students' character through the parenting patterns that are used. The purpose of this study is to investigate the patterns of parenting at Pondok Pesantren Syaichona Cholil Samarinda and how they contribute to the formation of students' character. Dengan menggunakan metode qualitative, penelitian ini mengumpulkan data melalui observation, depth interviews, dan document studies. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa religious values, discipline, responsibility, and independence are the parenting pattern in this pesantren, which are constantly used by caregivers and teachers. The parenting pattern at Pondok Pesantren Syaichona Cholil plays a strategic role in supporting the comprehensive character development of students because it encourages students to follow the rules and builds strong characters ready to face challenges in daily life. Diharapkan bahwa artikel ini akan berfungsi sebagai referensi untuk perkembangan pola parenting di lingkungan pendidikan luar pesantren.

Abstract

 The teaching performance of teachers in Indonesia has not yet reached a satisfactory level, despite various programs launched by the government. According to a UNESCO survey (Muslim, 2013), the quality of teaching performance of Indonesian teachers ranks 14th out of 14 developing countries, indicating that their performance remains below expectations. Factors such as education level, teaching supervision, training programs, conducive work environments, infrastructure, physical and mental conditions, school leadership, welfare assurance, and managerial skills contribute to this low performance (Fauza, 2010). Among these factors, supervision and motivation play a crucial role in improving teacher performance. Supervision conducted by experts in the field serves to provide guidance and improvement, ensuring that the teaching and learning process can be carried out effectively and with high quality (Engkoswara and Komariah, 2011). This study aims to explore the impact of supervision and motivation on enhancing teaching performance among teachers in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the strategies of the school principal in improving the performance of operators in managing the Data Pokok Pendidikan (DAPODIK) data. The results of this study are expected to provide valuable insights for school principals in formulating effective strategies to enhance operator performance in managing DAPODIK. This type of research is qualitative with a case study design. The subjects of the study are the school principal and the operators. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and literature review. Data analysis techniques involve data reduction, data display, drawing conclusions, and verification. The results of this study indicate that the strategies used by the school principal of SMP Islam Al Fatah Samarinda include (1) strategic planning; (2) training and competency development; (3) technical guidance implementation; (4) building communication and motivation; (5) providing adequate facility support; (6) monitoring; and (7) supervision and evaluation.

Abstract

Educators are entitled to a decent life, but some people tend to view that in the process of teaching educators must be sincere and do not allow compensation for them with the arguments of the Qur'an, one of which adheres to QS. Al-Baqarah [2]:41. The purpose of this research is: To find out how the legality and compensation system of educators in Tafsir Ibn Kathir and its relevance in Islamic education management. This research is a qualitative literature study with Tafsir Ibn Kathir as the primary data plus other interpretations, books and journals related to educators' compensation. The data is obtained through an in-depth study of the commentaries and then connected with the theories related to educators' compensation. The results of this study are: educators' compensation is legalized in Tafsir Ibn Katsir which is also supported by Islamic jurists. In Tafsir Ibn Katsir, it is explained about the compensation system of public and private educators, as well as the amount of educator compensation. What Ibn Katsir explains about educators' compensation is relevant to education management, but Ibn Katsir also explains the concept of sincerity in teaching.

Abstract

Kejujuran merupakan nilai luhur yang sangat penting dalam membentuk karakter individu, terutama generasi muda. Pendidikan agama Islam, dengan landasan nilai-nilai Al-Qur'an dan hadis, memiliki peran yang signifikan dalam menanamkan dan mengembangkan sikap jujur pada siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji secara mendalam bagaimana pendidikan agama Islam berkontribusi dalam membentuk karakter jujur pada siswa sekolah menengah. Melalui studi literatur dan analisis data kualitatif, penelitian ini menemukan bahwa pendidikan agama Islam dapat membentuk karakter jujur siswa melalui beberapa cara. Pertama, melalui pengajaran nilai-nilai kejujuran secara eksplisit dalam materi pembelajaran agama. Kedua, melalui penanaman kesadaran akan pentingnya kejujuran dalam kehidupan beragama dan bermasyarakat. Ketiga, melalui pembentukan lingkungan belajar yang kondusif untuk pengembangan karakter jujur, seperti menciptakan suasana kelas yang terbuka, memberikan contoh teladan yang baik dari guru, dan melibatkan siswa dalam kegiatan-kegiatan yang menumbuhkan sikap jujur. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan agama Islam memiliki potensi yang besar dalam membentuk karakter jujur pada siswa. Namun, keberhasilan dalam membentuk karakter jujur tidak hanya bergantung pada pendidikan agama Islam semata, tetapi juga memerlukan dukungan dari berbagai pihak, seperti keluarga, sekolah, dan masyarakat. Oleh karena itu, perlu adanya sinergi antara berbagai pihak untuk menciptakan lingkungan yang mendukung tumbuh kembangnya karakter jujur pada siswa.

This study discusses various dimensions of leadership in the context of Islamic education, including the characteristics of a leader, the challenges faced, and strategies that can be applied to improve the quality of education. By using the latest data and statistics, as well as relevant case examples, this study aims to provide a deeper understanding of the role of leadership in advancing Islamic education in Indonesia. It is hoped that the results of this study can be a reference for educators, policy makers, and leaders of educational institutions in improving the quality of education based on Islamic values.

Abstract

The role of parents in school management is a crucial aspect that is often overlooked in educational discussions. Research shows that parental involvement not only has a positive impact on student academic achievement but also influences the overall school climate. Good collaboration between parents and schools can create an environment that is conducive to student development while increasing the effectiveness of school management. In this study, we will discuss the importance of the role of parents in supporting school management. Using data and case examples from various sources, this study aims to illustrate how collaboration between parents and schools can make a significant contribution to the success of educational institutions. The results of this study are expected to provide a deeper understanding of the importance of synergy between families and schools in realizing a quality education system.
