Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah belum maksimalnya penerapan latihan yang selama ini diberikan oleh pelatih ekstrakurikuler futsal dalam usaha peningkatan akurasi passing pemain. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dampak penerapan latihan Small Side Game terhadap akurasi passing. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperiment semu atau (quasy exsperiment) yang menggunakan desain penelitian One-Group Pretest- Posttest Design, yaitu desain penelitian yang terdapat pretest sebelum diberikan perlakuan dan posttest setelah diberikan perlakuan, sehingga pengaruh treatment atau perlakuan dapat dihitung dengan cara membandingkan nilai posttest dan pretest. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa ekstrakurikuler futsal yang berjumlah 20 orang pemain. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik totalsampling, maka jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah berjumlah 20 orang pemain. Instrument yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan tes passing ke teman. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis statistik uji beda mean atau uji t. Hasil penelitian ini adalah: terdapat pengaruh variasi latihan metode Small Side Game terhadap akurasi passing  (thitung = 2,38 ttabel 1,746) dimana dari rata- rata 3,41 meningkat menjadi 5,24.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal the gender inequality undergone by the female character, and her struggles to unchained herself from the unfairness she experienced in the short story “Apa yang Paul McCartney Bisikkan di Telinga Janitra.” In the era where equality between man and woman becomes a daily issue, there is still no guarantee that a woman will easily be treated as equal as man. Career can be a sign that a woman has reached the more or less the same level as man, but in many cases, many women are forced to give up their career to take care of their family as men call it as the nature of women to be housewives and mothers. Feminist literary criticism is applied to examine the short story to reveal how the character struggles to release herself when she is clung by domestic patriarchal strong practice done by her husband. The result of the analysis reveals that the female character in the short story discussed is still portrayed to be only half-completely succeed to attain her freedom and equity against patriarchal confines.  Keywords: feminist literary criticism, patriarchal system, struggle, unfairness

Abstract

AbstractThis study examines the benefits and barriers of implementing the Reading Aloud strategy for young readers, particularly at the elementary school level. Through a theoretical research approach, we analyze recent literature and studies from 2019-2023 to provide a comprehensive understanding of how this strategy shapes early literacy development. The research highlights the multifaceted benefits of Reading Aloud, including enhanced vocabulary acquisition, improved comprehension skills, increased fluency and prosody, and the fostering of critical thinking abilities. These advantages are grounded in established educational theories such as Vygotsky's Zone of Proximal Development and Bandura's Social Learning Theory. However, the study also identifies several barriers to effective implementation, including time constraints, the need for proper training, and the challenge of selecting appropriate reading materials. The paper discusses strategies to overcome these obstacles and explores the potential of integrating modern technologies to enhance this fundamental literacy practice. By synthesizing current research and analyzing emerging trends, this study offers valuable insights for educators, parents, and policymakers striving to nurture a new generation of literate and engaged readers. The findings underscore the continued relevance and effectiveness of the Reading Aloud strategy in contemporary educational settings, supporting its implementation as a versatile tool for literacy instruction across various learning environments. Keywords: Educational strategies, elementary education, literacy development, reading aloud, young readers.

Abstract

This research attempts to investigate iconography in Vincent van Gogh’s painting “The Garden of the Asylum,” as well as its connection to themes in art that are purposefully or inadvertently altered by artists in order to exhibit their work. The method used was art (aesthetic) criticism which provides a methodological umbrella for iconographic analysis.  The emphasis placed on the formal elements of art as the initial phase in the analysis is where the art criticism technique and Panofsky’s iconographic analysis connect in this study. The results demonstrate that expressionism and fauvism were later creative movements that derived from Vincent van Gogh’s unique use of color, texture, and the emotional portrayal of the human condition. A meandering path across the garden draws the viewer's attention farther into the image. The asylum’s very existence has multiple meanings and implications. It is intended to convey van Gogh's feelings of both mental and physical captivity throughout his stay. The asylum can be seen as a metaphor for the state of humanity, representing the limitations and suffering that come with being human as well as the struggle to find inner peace and spiritual transcendence in the face of hardship. In conclusion, the examination of the iconography of “The Garden of The Asylum” provides a deeper understanding of the artist’s symbolism and aims, as well as the historical context in which they are displayed, their personal and cultural significance

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk imengetahui hubungan antara konsentrasi dan kecemasan terhadap kemampuan tendangan pinalti pada atlet futsal SMAN 14 Bandar Lampung. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan metode penelitian yaitu korelasi. Instrumen pada penelitian ini menggunakan Grid Concentration Test untuk mengukur tes konsentrasi, kuisioner digunakan untuk mengukur tes kecemasan dengan skala guttman, dan tes tendangan pinalti menggunakan tendangan tes sebanyak 2x tembakan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini atlet futsal SMAN 14 Bandar Lampung berjumlah 30 atlet, dengan teknik total I sebesar 30 atlet. Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan uji koefisien korelasi product moment dengan taraf sig. 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) ada hubungan konsentrasi dengan kemampuan tendangan pinalti dengan hasil sebesar sig 0,035 (p0,05) dan bernilai positif yaitu 3,221. (2) ada hubungan kecemasan dengan tendangan pinalti dengan hasil sebesar sig 0,022 (p0,05) dan bernilai negatif yaitu -1,722. maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang negative antara kecemasan dengan tendangan pinalti. (3) ada hubungan konsentrasi dan kecemasan (dengan tendangan pinalti dengan hasil sebesar sig 0,021 (p0,05) dan bernilai positif yaitu 9,045. Berdasarkan hal tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada hubungan antara konsentrasi dan kecemasan secara bersama-sama dengan tendangan pinalti.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas penerapan prinsip-prinsip geometri dalam desain interior dan kehidupan sehari-hari di Indonesia dengan metode kualitatif dan pendekatan deskriptif analitis. Penelitian melibatkan analisis dokumentasi proyek desain interior dari media sosial untuk memahami penggunaan elemen geometri seperti simetri, asimetri, pola, bentuk, dan proporsi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa prinsip geometri berperan penting dalam menciptakan estetika dan fungsionalitas ruang. Simetri menciptakan kesan keteraturan dan harmoni, sementara asimetri menambah dinamika dan menarik perhatian. Pola tradisional seperti batik memperkaya tekstur visual dan mempertahankan identitas budaya. Bentuk dan proporsi yang tepat memastikan kenyamanan dan keseimbangan, sedangkan penggunaan grid membantu dalam perencanaan tata letak yang efisien. Kesimpulannya, pemahaman mendalam tentang prinsip-prinsip geometri penting untuk meningkatkan estetika, fungsionalitas, dan penghargaan terhadap warisan budaya Indonesia dalam desain interior. Studi ini memberikan wawasan berharga bagi desainer dalam menciptakan ruang yang harmonis, fungsional, dan penuh makna budaya.

Abstract

Budaya dan matematika mempunyai keterkaitan yang erat, dan rumah adat adalah salah satunya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan hasil pembelajaran rumah adat Panjarin di provinsi Majalenka dengan menggunakan bahan ajar geometri di sekolah dasar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berdasarkan pendekatan kualitatif. Sumber data penelitian ini menggunakan data wawancara, observasi, dokumen, dan studi pustaka. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan memanfaatkan reduksi data, penyajian data, validasi, dan inferensi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, arsitektur rumah adat Panjarin meliputi konsep matematis, (1) bentuk atap rumah  trapesium, dan penyangga  rumah adat  berbentuk balok; (2) Bagian atas/langit-langit berbentuk balok . Rumah mempunyai unsur persegi, (3) dinding rumah berbentuk persegi panjang, dan (4) bagian penyangga rumah adat Panajarin berbentuk balok. Secara umum konsep geometri yang terdapat pada rumah adat Panjarin dapat dijadikan sebagai sumber alternatif pembelajaran matematika khususnya materi geometri berbasis matematika etnik.

Abstract

The film Capernaum, directed by Nadine Labaki, offers a poignant portrayal of Lebanese women's identity and delves into the complexities of gender, culture, and society. The study aims to critically analyze the depiction of Lebanese women's identity through a qualitative study, examining cinematic elements, character identities, and narrative structure. The film's portrayal of female characters, Souad, Sahar, and Rahil, highlights societal expectations and cultural contexts that shape women's identities. These characters are shaped by societal expectations and cultural and social contexts, including gender-based violence and traditional gender roles. The study employs textual analysis to investigate the representation of Lebanese women's identity and patriarchal culture in the film. Moreover, the findings reveal that women's identity concepts in Capernaum are characterized by the need to meet beauty standards, dependency on men, obedience to men, and adherence to traditional gender roles. The film also portrays the struggles of women in patriarchal society, including feelings of powerlessness, insecurity, and low self-esteem. The study contributes to academic knowledge by providing a nuanced understanding of Lebanese women's identity and its representation in the film Capernaum, enriching the analysis of film studies, and offering insights into the societal expectations and cultural contexts that shape women's identities.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh latihan permainan target terhadap kemampuan shooting pemain futsal ekstrakurikuler di sma n 2 kota agung. Metode penelitian ini yaitu eksperimen yang menggunakan desain penelitian one-group pretest-posttest design. Instrumen pada penelitian ini menggunakan soccer dribble test  3 kali percobaan (repetisi). Populasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini pemain futsal ekstrakurikuler di sma n 2 kota agung yang berjumlah 20 sisawa laki-laki dan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan sampling Jenuh sehingga sampel yang digunakan seluruh sampel yaitu sebanyak 20. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) Terdapat pengaruh latihan circuit training terhadap kemampuan shooting pemain futsal ekstrakurikuler di sma n 2 kota agung dengan nilai sig. yaitu 0,000 0,05. (2) Mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh latihan circuit training terhadap kemampuan shooting pemain futsal ekstrakurikuler di sma n 2 kota agung dengan hasil uji t bisa dilihat bahwa Thitung lebih besar dari Ttabel (104.702 1.729) dan signifikan p sebesar (0.000 0.05) hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa terletak perbedaan yang signifikan antara pretest dan posttest dri shooting pemain futsal ekstrakurikuler di sma n 2 kota agung. Dari data pretest terletak rata-rata 22,3265 dan posttest rata-rata 22.2075, dengan begitu mununjukkan bahwa permainan target mampu meningkatkan kemampuan shooting pemain futsal ekstrakurikuler di sma n 2 kota agung dilihat berdasarkan perbedaan rata-rata yaitu sebesar 1.5 detik.

Abstract

Many characters in literature often represent dominating characters, have strong capacity, and always use violence to solve problems. Brave movie is a story of a woman who wants to break free from the normal norms. This research was intended to see the failure of many characters in showing domination. Using descriptive qualitative as the research method, this study was aimed to decode the man's failure in dominating in Brave movies. With the help of Hall’s representation theories and Collin’s masculinity theory, this research will surely show the characteristics of the topics. This research showed that the main characters showed failures in giving domination to the main characters. Through three characteristics which are care responsibility, violence as manly, and danger as exciting, this research fulfills the representation of man's failure in domination. Keywords: characteristic, empowerment, feminism, gender, movie
