Abstract

One of the most frequently used methods of material testing is hardness testing. The aim of conducting research on material hardness is to determine the hardness value of the material specimens tested, namely ST 37 steel plate and aluminum plate. The test method is to use the Brinell hardness test where the values obtained during testing are from the force load, indenter diameter and pressure trace diameter and the pressure time that has been determined. By using testing tools such as hardness tester, mechanical caliper, indenter, flat file, stopwatch. And the materials used are ST 37 steel plate, aluminum plate and sandpaper. From the test results obtained we can calculate the Brinell hardness value of the test material. The value from the calculation of test data where the highest hardness value using the Brinell method (BHN) for ST 37 steel plate material is 256.992. Meanwhile, the highest hardness value using the Brinell method (BHN) for aluminum plate material is 55,182.

Abstract

This research aims to optimize the production of antibacterial metabolites and test the antioxidant activity of endophytic isolates from kelakai (Stenochlaena palustris). The research results showed that the optimum growth profile of the isolate showed that exponential growth only started on day 1 and reached a maximum on day 17. Based on pH variations, it shows that pH 7 is the optimum pH in inhibiting bacterial growth, and based on variations in carbon sources, it shows that fructose is a better carbon source than glucose. Antimicrobial activity test using ethyl acetate extract from endophytic fungal fermentate based on differences in pH and carbon source showed antimicrobial activity against S. aureus and E. coli with the inhibition zone diameters being 13.50 mm and 11.35 mm, respectively.

Abstract

This research is impact testing using the Charpy and Izod methods, temperature variations of 1500 C, 2500 C and raw material as the research variable. The results of the Charpy test with a variation of 150 0C obtained a maximum absorbed energy of 97.65 J, with an impact value of 0.222 J/mm2. Then the maximum energy absorbed through testing at a temperature of 2500C is 78.28 Joules and the impact value is 0.177 J/mm2. Furthermore, the raw material test results showed that the maximum energy absorbed was 145.96 J with an impact value of 0.330 J/mm2. Izod testing with a temperature of 1500C obtained a maximum absorbed energy of 60.94 J with an impact value of 0.101 J/mm2. Furthermore, the maximum energy absorbed at a temperature of 2500C is 36.83 Joules and the impact value is 0.061 J/mm2. The raw material test results show that the maximum energy that can be absorbed is 80.53 J with an impact price of 0.133 J/mm2

Abstract

Social entrepreneurship is an institution that not only operates in the social sector, but is also an institution that tries to gain profit from its business. Radio Andika as a broadcasting institution organized these two activities. On the one hand, this institution carries out profit activities, namely from various income obtained through advertisements, on the other hand, this institution also carries out social activities such as Friday Blessings, Friends of the Dhuafa, Caring for Orphans and various other social activities. This research aims to determine the influence of broadcasting institutions' social entrepreneurship on smart city sustainability with value added and citizenship journalism as mediating variables. The research results show that the social entrepreneur variable has no direct effect on the sustainability of smart cities; the value added variable cannot mediate the influence of social entrepreneurship on smart city sustainability; The citizenship journalism variable can mediate the influence of social entrepreneurship on the sustainability of smart cities.
