Abstract

The home industry is a home business product or small company because of the type of economic activity at home. One type of home industry is small industries, including the food industry (food and beverage). Lebung Gajah urban village people generally have a livelihood, primarily workers. Besides, some have small home businesses. This counseling aims to develop human resources and productive efforts based on a strong mental attitude to progress, highly dedicated to the characteristics of his family. The service activity is to provide education on the development of the tempe home industry business. Home businesses of tempeh products have an easier prospect of implementing for small companies because tempe raw materials are easy to get, affordable prices, and delicious. Suppose driven and developed, able to support the family economy, especially in the Village Lebung Gajah, Palembang City, South Sumatra Province.

Abstract

Growth Response And Production Several Varieties of Peanut (Arachis hypogaea L.) On pile difference.This research was conducted attheexperimental Agro Technology Faculty of Agriculture, University of Palembang and University of  Muhammadiyah Palembang in farmer's garden, Sukajaya Village, Sukarame District, Palembang City., this study was conducted in May 2019 to August 2019. The method used is a split plot design (Split-plot design) with 9 treatment combinations and repeated 3 times. The treatment given is: Main Plot: Pile (P) consisting of: P0 = Without Pile, P1 = Pile1 times, P2 = Pile 2 times. and Son Plot: Varieties (V) consisting of: V1 = Variety Rabbit, V2 = Variety Giraffes, Elephants V3 = Variety. The parameters measured were (1). Plant height (cm), (2). Number of Branch Primary (stalk), (3). Number of pods / plant, (4). Weight pods / plant (g), (5). Weight pods / plot (kg), (6). Empty Pods percentage (%), (7). Berangkasan Dry Weight (g). The results showed that treatment of type varieties are very significant effect on all the observed variables. Pile effect no significant effect on variable number of branches, weight of 100 seeds, weight berangkasan dry and significant and very real on plant height, number of pods cropping, number of pods perpetak, while their interaction very significant effect on the observed variables pods crop and the number of perpetak pods and no real effect on plant height, number of branches, the percentage of empty pods, weight of 100 seeds, and dried berangkasan weight. Giraffes varieties give the best effect on the growth and production of groundnut (Arachis hypogea L.), treatment pile twice give the best effect on the growth and production of groundnut (Arachis hypogea L.) and Treatment varieties Giraffe and pile twice give the best effect against growth and production of groundnut (Arachis hypogea L.) with production of 1.68 tons / ha.

Abstract

The use of inorganic chemical fertilizers and synthetic pesticides in the cultivation of crops carried out by farmers has caused negative effects on the environment. Likewise, the disposal of household organic garbage by the community has caused pollution in the surrounding environment. To reduce environmental disturbances due to garbage deposits, household organic garbage can be utilized for making eco-enzyme. Eco-enzyme is a complex organic compounds solution resulting from the fermentation of organic garbage, water, and sugar. Eco-enzyme solution can be used by the community as a versatile cleaning liquid, for environmentally friendly plant fertilizer and plant pest control. Community service activity has been carried out in Gelebak Dalam Village, Rambutan District, Banyuasin Regency, in the form of counseling and demonstrations of making eco-enzyme solutions from fruit peels and vegetable residues.  Knowledge of eco-enzyme is very beneficial for the community, because, in addition to reducing the negative effects of organic garbage deposits on the environment, eco-enzyme is also useful in reducing the use of inorganic fertilizers and synthetic pesticides in plant cultivation activities.

Abstract

Red chili (Capsicum annuum L.) is one of the commodities vegetables that have high economic value. One attempt to increase the growth and yield of chili plants by using liquid organic fertilizer and mycorrhizal biological fertilizer. This research aims to determine the best dosage of liquid organic fertilizer and mycorrhizal biological fertilizer on the yield of red chili (Capsium annum L.). The research was carried out on land of Agriculture of Palembang City, South Sumatra Province. The research period was carried out from February to June 2023. The research used a Randomized Group Factorial Design (RAKF) with 9 treatments and 3 replications. The first factor is liquid organic fertilizer from vegetable waste according to the treatment, namely O1 = 5 ml/L, O2 = 10 ml/L and O3= 15 ml/L. The second factor is the provision of Mycorrhizal biofertilizer (M) which consists of 4 treatment dose levels, namely M0 = 0 g/ta (without mycorrhiza), M1 = 2.5 g/ta, M2 = 5 g/ta, M3 = 7.5 g /ta. The observation parameters in this study were chili weight per plant (g), chili weight per plot (g) and number of productive brances (brances). The results of the research showed that treatment with a POC dose of vegetable waste of 5 ml/l of water with mycorrhizal biological fertilizer of 2.5 g/lot had the highest influence on chili plant production of 48.33 g/plot or the equivalent of 193,32 kuintal/ha.

Abstract

Kelakai (Stenochlaena palutris) merupakan salah satu pangan lokal di Kalimantan Tengah yang kaya akan zat gizi dan sangat lazim dikonsumsi oleh masyarakat serta sangat mudah diperoleh disekitar rumah masyarakat. Pangan lokal yang mudah diperoleh di lingkungan sekitar masyarakat dapat membantu untuk mengatasi kerawanan pangan dan kekurangan gizi sehingga dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai upaya untuk penanganan stunting, khususnya di Kalimantan Tengah. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu balita di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Kereng Bangkirai tentang pemanfaatan bahan pangan lokal kelakai dalam pencegahan stunting. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan yaitu dengan memberi edukasi untuk mencapai peningkatan pengetahuan sasaran dengan peserta sebanyak 15 orang. Evaluasi ketercapaian legiatan yaitu dengan mengukur pengetahuan ibu balita sebelum dan sesudah diberi edukasi. Indikator keberhasilan jika lebih dari 75% peserta kegiatan telah memahami dengan baik materi yang disampaikan. Hasil yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis secara statistik. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan peserta menjadi sebagian besar kategori baik setelah diberi penyuluhan (86,67%). Hasil ini menunjukkan keberhasilan pelaksanaan kegiatan dengan indikator peserta memperoleh kategori pengetahuan baik >75%. Hasil menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan signifikan terhadap pengetahuan dengan nilai p=0,012 (<0,05).
