Abstract

The purpose of this study was to produce and test a butterfly stroke swimming learning model for age group 5. The research method uses research and development methods adopted from the theory of Borg & Gall. There are ten steps used in this study, namely needs analysis, initial product development, expert evaluation, small group trials, product revisions, large group trials, product revisions, effectiveness tests, revisions, and the final product. The research subjects were WSC Cirebon children aged 5, totaling 15 subjects in small group trials, large group trials of 40 novice athletes and 40 subject effectiveness tests conducted on children aged 5 at the WSC Cirebon club. The data analysis technique used in this study to test the effectiveness of the model is the normality test, homogeneity test and independent sample-test. The results of the research produced a product in the form of learning to swim the butterfly style for the age group 5. For the age group 5, 28 training models had been validated and revised by experts. The implication of this study is that the learning model is feasible and effective for use for 5 year olds in improving butterfly swimming skills.

The end product of fungame training consist s of various fungame training models to improve the quality of passing. The results of this research and development are data on pretest posttest scores and questionnaires using SPSS IBM 25 for windows with a significant level of 0.05. The results of this study indicate that the increase in football passing is 5%. From the results of the research that has been done, it can be concluded that the passing training model can be developed and applied in the training process. Apart from that, with the fungame training model to improve the quality of passing that has been developed, evidence is obtained that there is a significant increase shown in the test results of the pretest, posttest and also questionnaire data, there is a difference between before and after the treatment of the fungame training model to improve the quality of passing football. Based on these results, it can be used as a football fungame training model as well as an output product of a fungame training model to improve the quality of football passing.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Muscle mass is a part of body composition that is important for athletes’ health and performance, especially Wushu athletes. An optimal training program can increase athlete’s muscle mass, so it is necessary to evaluate muscle mass changing before and after the exercise program. The purpose of this program is to determine the effect of training on muscle mass development in PELATDA KONI DKI Jakarta Wushu athletes. Anthropometric and body composition examinations (muscle mass, skeletal muscle, and segmental muscle mass) were carried out before and after the exercise program. Examinations were carried out in June and September 2023. 20 of the 22 Wushu athletes took part in anthropometric and body composition examinations. Data was analyzed using the Paired Sample T test. Results showed that there was no significant difference between muscle mass, skeletal muscle and segmental muscle mass before and after the exercise program with >0.05 p value. Our findings show that the training program is less effective in increasing Wushu athletes’ muscle mass. Further research needs to be carried out to examine training programs and other supporting factors such as nutrition and recovery in increasing athletes’ muscle mass.

Abstract

Abstract This literature review study is based on this The current education pattern cannot accommodate the needs of each individual to grow optimally. Most current education patterns do not provide enough space for students' uniqueness in carrying out physical activities. Mastery of basic movements needs to be given to children in the form of physical activity. Physical activity that is designed needs to increase and stimulate children to move without compulsion. The physical activity provided can be in the form of Physical Literacy . The literature review method was carried out on three articles obtained from a number of databases, PubMed, EBSCO, and Springer Link. Keywords for searching articles are physical activity, physical literacy , basic movement skills, physical literacy . Researchers use "AND" as a Boolean operator. The results of the literature review are that the development of a physical activity model to improve elementary school students' basic movement skills is based on physical literacy. The results of the review article are: 1) Physical activity improves health, 2) Good physical literacy knowledge in children aged 7-12 years, 3) Developing physical literacy. The conclusion from the literature review is that understanding physical activity based on the concept of physical literacy can improve health. A high understanding of physical literacy is related to the holistic development of children aged 7-12 years, namely if a person's body is healthy then they will grow and develop optimally. Traditional games can develop elementary school students' physical literacy. Abstract

Nutritional status is a measure of an individual's body condition, which can be observed through the food consumed and the utilization of nutrients. This research aims to determine the correlation between nutritional status and learning achievement in elementary school students in Cirebon Regency. This study employed a correlational research design. Purposive sampling was used to select 30 students aged 9-12 years old as the sample. The instruments used in this study were the CDC growth chart and the student's physical education report card scores for the odd semester of the 2023-2024 academic year. Data analysis was performed using Pearson correlation analysis with the help of SPSS 20 software. The normality test results showed that the data for nutritional status (p-value = 0.100) and physical education learning achievement (p-value = 0.095) were normally distributed. The linearity test showed a p-value of 0.802, indicating a linear relationship between the variables. The Pearson product-moment correlation test yielded a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.474 and a correlation coefficient (r) of 0.361. Since the p-value was greater than 0.05 and the r-value was greater than 0.05, it can be concluded that there is a significant correlation between nutritional status and learning achievement, indicating that nutritional status has a moderate effect on learning achievement.
