Abstract

Basic motor skills assessment tests are widely used, including tests of manipulative basic movement skills. The basic manipulative movement skill test is used to measure the basic manipulative movement skills of early childhood. The purpose of this study was to find out whether it is suitable and effective for measuring basic manipulative movement skills in early childhood 6-8 years. The sample population used in this study were 30 different early childhood children aged 6-8 years in Pecallan Village, Natar District, South Lampung. Construct validity and reliability were calculated using Pearson's correlation with the results obtained that the study included 4 indicators, namely throwing, catching, hitting, and kicking, the results obtained were r count > r table (28; 5%) = 0.361. So it can be stated that all the indicator items used are valid. And based on the reliability test with Cronbach alpha, a value of 0.806 > 0.7 is obtained, so that it represents that these items are reliable for measuring the sample. In conclusion, thus that the manipulative basic movement skills test can be used to measure basic movement skills in early childhood 6-8 years.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the improvement of shooting skills in basketball games with the repetition method in basketball games for ages 12-14 years. This research was conducted from May-June 2023. The subjects in this study were 45 players aged 12-14 years. This research focuses on testing the effectiveness of developing a shooting technique training model with the repetition method, therefore the approach and method used in this study is a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental research design in the form of the one group pretest-posttest design. Data analysis used the inferential analysis was carried out using the T test, with a significance test (α) = 0.05. In the significant difference test with SPSS 16, the average value = 1.778 shows the difference from the results of the pre-test and post-test, df = 44, the results of t count = 11.212 > t table 1.680 (from n = 45) and p-value = 0.00 <0.05, which means there is a significant difference between before and after being treated with the basketball shooting training model with the repetition method. The conclusion is that the basketball shooting exercise model with the repetition method is effective and provides an increase in the shooting skills of children aged 12-14 years

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to obtain empirical data on the effectiveness and results of the volleyball lower passing skills model. This type of research is research and development (R&D) with a pre-test and post-test design. The data analysis technique collects effectiveness test data using the t test with SPSS software. The effectiveness test was conducted on volleyball extracurricular participants at SMPN 15 Depok City, totaling 40 children who were given treatment using a variety of volleyball lower passing skill models for 4 meetings. The volleyball lower passing research instrument was carried out with a 1-minute lower passing test. The results of the study based on expert validation, it can be said that there are 12 models of lower passing skills based on media modifications that are considered feasible. And based on the quality of the model, this model is in the GOOD category, with a score of 88. In addition, after testing the effectiveness of the model, it can be seen that this skill model is effective for improving volleyball lower passing skills with a p value = 0.000 <0.005. so it can be interpreted that there is a significant difference between the average of the experimental group and the control group. So it can be concluded that giving experimental treatment has a significant effect compared to the control group.

Abstract

Abstract the purpose of this study was to determine whether there is a direct influence between endurance (X1), agility (X2), and eye, hand and feet coordination (X3) on the learning outcomes of rhythmic motion (Y) in physical education. The research method used is a quantitative approach with test and non-test techniques, while the analysis technique uses a path analysis approach or path analysis. The rhythmic motion test instrument uses a test instrument that the researchers developed based on an instrument grid that refers to theoretical studies. To measure agility, the test that will be used is the shuttle run test. The coordination test uses the Hand and Foot Eye Coordination Test Instrument from Sridadi. The population in this study were all students of class VIII SMPN 1 Napabalano. Sampling was done by means of total sampling. The sample in this study was class VIII students of SMPN 1 Napabalano, totaling 116 students. Data analysis techniques were carried out through two stages of analysis, namely descriptive and inferential data analysis. Based on the results of data analysis and hypothesis testing from research data, the variables of endurance, agility, eye, hand and feet coordination have a significant effect on the learning outcomes of rhythmic motion for class VIII students of SMPN 1 Napabalano.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to produce and test a softball overhand throw skill training model. The research method uses research and development methods adopted from the theory of Borg & Gall. There are ten steps used in this study, namely needs analysis, initial product development, expert evaluation, small group trials, product revisions, large group trials, product revisions, effectiveness tests, revisions, and the final product. The research subjects were u-17 novice athletes with a total of 15 subjects in small group trials, large group trials of 40 novice athletes and 40 subject effectiveness tests conducted on u-17 novice athletes at the Black Diamon Club Cirebon. The data analysis technique used in this study to test the effectiveness of the model is the normality test, homogeneity test and independent sample-test. The results of the research produced a product in the form of softball overhand throw skill training. For the 17 year old group, 24 training models have been validated and revised by experts. The implication of this study is that the training model is feasible and effective for use by the age of 17 and over in improving softball overhand throw skills.
