Abstract

Salah satu masalah yang sering timbul pada sektor perikanan adalah dalam mempertahankan mutu ikan. Pada suhu ruang, ikan lebih cepat memasuki fase rigor mortis dan berlangsung lebih singkat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui mutu organoleptik ikan momar (Decapterus spp.) yang didinginkan dengan es (icing). Sampel ikan diperoleh dari Tempat Pendaratan Ikan (TPI) Klaligi Kota Sorong dengan panjang berkisar 20-21 cm dan berat 150-200 gr. Pengujian organoleptik dilakukan pada H0 (pertama datang), H2 (penyimpanan hari ke-2) dan H4 (penyimpanan hari ke-4). Selain pengujian organoleptik juga dilakukan perhitungan kebutuhan es dan laju pengaliran panas untuk proses pendinginan ikan. Hasil uji organoleptik menunjukkan ada penurunan mutu ikan yaitu nilai organoleptik 9 (H0), nilai organoleptik 8 (H2) dan nilai organoleptik 7 (H4). Nilai organoleptik ikan momar selama penyimpanan dengan es mengalami penurunan mutu walaupun masih dikatakan segar.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tahapan proses penangkapan ikan dengan alat tangkap huhate (pole and line), mengetahui komposisi hasil tangkapan pole and line dan menganalisis hubungan jumlah umpan dengan tangkapan pole and line di Bitung, Sulawesi Utara. Metode dalam penelitian adalah observasi dan wawancara. Analisis deskriptif, regresi linear sederhana dan korelasi linear dengan Microsoft Office Excel 2010 merupakan analisis data yang digunakan. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan hubungan yang sangat kuat antara umpan hidup yang digunakan terhadap hasil tangkapan pole and line. Hal ini dilihat dari hasil r = 0,98 yang berarti memiliki hubungan yang sangat erat.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the feasibility level of fishing business with pole and line at KM Aspac 11 operating in WPPNRI 715. The research was carried out on the KM Aspac ship and at the fish landing site from March 2 to May 30, 2020. This type of research is a descriptive study. quantitative. The business feasibility variables analyzed in this study are NPV (Net Present Value), IRR (Internal Rate of Return), and Benefit Cost Ratio (B / C Ratio). The results showed that the fishing effort carried out by KM Aspac 11 in WPPNRI 715 was feasible to run with an NPV value of Rp. 916,444,000, amounting to, an IRR of 28.85, and a B / C Ratio of 1.05.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to monitor water quality in white leg shrimp ponds. The study method used was descriptive with quantitative descriptive analysis. The descriptive method was carried out by taking samples and direct observation at the research site. The results observations of salinity in the ponds of pond 3, pond 4, and pond 5 decreased during the maintenance period because there was an addition of fresh water in the ponds. Monitoring of TOM, alkalinity and pH levels during the maintenance period in the pond were still at optimum levels for the growth of white leg shrimp. Measurements of green and yellow vibrio bacteria ranged from 102 until 103. The plankton types were Nannochloropsis sp, Tetraselmis sp, Chlorella sp, Chetocero sp., Coscinodiscus sp, Oscilatoria sp, and Isochrysis most commonly found in ponds. These plankton was among those that shrimp-like.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the licensing method of fishing for mud crab (Scylla sp.) and to determine the stages of the strategy undertaken to support the management of traditional fishery resource potential in Manimeri District. This research was started from 18 August to 8 Oct 2019, located in Manimeri District, Banjar Ausoy Village and Korano Jaya, Teluk Bintuni Regency, West Papua Province. The data collection techniques and methods used in the study were observation, interviews with informants using questionnaires and Focus Group Discussions (FGD) in Basic Training on Traditional Community-Based Fisheries Management in Manimeri District. The analysis used is the SWOT analysis. The results showed that fishing efforts carried out by migrant fishermen in the areas of Kampung Banjar Ausoy and Korano Jaya in catching crabs must have a fishing license through the knowledge of the owner of the customary rights, namely from the Wamesa Tribe. Management strategies for traditional fisheries resource potential in Manimeri District, namely: 1) Optimizing fishery resource management in Manimeri District, 2) Strengthening law and institutional management of fishery resources, 3) Improving the quality of the marketing system, and 4) Preserving the potential of capture fisheries resources.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bentuk, jumlah, dan berat mikroplastik pada masing-masing sampel ikan Tongkol (Euthynnus sp.), ikan Kembung (Rastrelliger sp.), dan ikan Layur (Trichiurus sp.) yang didapatkan, serta mengetahui perbandingan serta hubungan antara temuan mikroplastik dengan ikan hasil tangkapan. Metode analisa adalah random sampling dengan periode 2x sampling, dan dilanjutkan analisa laboratorium. Organ ikan yang dianalisa terfokus pada sistem pencernaan dengan penambahan KOH 10% sebanyak 1:3 berat sampel. Hasil penyaringan selanjutnya diamati pada mikroskop stereo untuk menentukan bentuk dan jumlah mikroplastik dan dilakukan penimbangan di neraca analitik. Hasil analisa ditemukan mikroplastik dengan bentuk fiber, fragmen, dan film, dengan dominasi jumlah total temuan mikroplastik terbanyak berturut-turut adalah pada ikan tongkol, ikan kembung, dan ikan layur. Berat mikroplastik didominasi oleh jenis fiber yang mendapat jumlah temuan terbanyak. Tidak terdapat perbedaan jumlah mikroplastik antar jenis ikan.

Abstract

This study was aimed to obtain the fisherman terms of trade with rebon shrimp scoop net fishing gear and the factors which affect the fisherman terms of trade. This study was conducted in October to December 2020. This study used interview and FGD (Focus Group Discussion) methods. The data analysis used a descriptive method. The results of this study showed that the FTT of scoop net fisherman income in October was up to 19.23, 13.27 in November, and 6.41 in December. The FTT of fishery in October was up to 277.42, 194.31 in November, and 121.81 in December. Some factors that affected the FTT of scoop net fishing gear were the fisherman age, education level, number of family dependents, duration of being fisherman, selling price of rebon shrimp, and fishing season. This study concluded that scoop net fisherman FTT decreased within study substance in October to December 2020.

Abstract

The prototype to determine the freshness of catfish is a test tool to determine the level of freshness of catfish based on the color level of the meat in the form of R, G, B (Red, Green, and Blue) values. Making the prototype requires an Arduino Atmega 2560 which functions as the brain of all components, the TCS 230 sensor which functions to detect colors based on red, green, and blue values, then a 20×4 LCD which functions as a display of detection results. The cube-shaped chassis is made of lightweight iron and the board is water-resistant and easy to clean. This prototype has dimensions of length 28 cm, width 25 cm, and height 18 cm. In the way it works, the catfish is inserted into the cube where the TCS 230 sensor is attached which will then detect the color of the meat which is then converted into R, G, B values. The Arduino clarifies the sensor readings which are then forwarded to the LCD as the output of the test results. Based on the results of data confusion matrix testing, this prototype has a data accuracy value of 80%, a positive precision level of 83%, and a negative precision level of 67%. The results of testing the prototype freshness of catfish resulted in a success percentage of 84.4%.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis umur simpan ikan asap yang dilapisi kitosan sisik ikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan 8 perlakuan yaitu tanpa pelapisan, pelapisan dengan minyak kelapa, asam asetat 0,5%, dan kitosan (2, 4, 6, 8, dan 10%). Ikan asap yang dilapisi kitosan disimpan pada suhu ruang dan diamati kenampakan, bau, rasa, tekstur, jamur, dan lendir menggunakan lembar penilaian sensori ikan asap (SNI 01-2346-2006). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa organoleptik ikan asap tanpa pelapisan kitosan pada penyimpanan hari ke 2 sudah tidak memenuhi mutu organoleptik (nilai <7), sedangkan dengan pelapisan kitosan 10% nilai organoleptik > 7 pada penyimpanan hari ke 2 dan 3. Organoleptik kenampakan, bau, jamur, dan lendir ikan asap yang dilapisi kitosan sisik ikan dengan konsentrasi 10% setelah 3 hari penyimpanan, nilainya masih 7. Namun, organoleptik rasa dan tekstur ikan asap dengan pelapisan kitosan 8 dan 10% masih memenuhi syarat (minimal nilai 7) pada penyimpanan hari ke 2.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui diagnosa awal serangan penyakit pada ikan nila monosex (Oreochromis sp.) di kampung nila, desa Gumiwang, Banjarnegara. Sampel ikan yang berjumlah 3 ekor/kolam diambil langsung dari lokasi. Sampel yang diambil yang menunjukkan gejala klinis ikan terinfeksi penyakit. pengamatan yang dilakukan adalah pengamatan gejala klinis, pengamatan organ dalam seperti ginjal, usus, lambung, insang dan pengamatan kualitas air. Analisa data secara deskriptif dengan cara menguraikan hasil penelitian dan dibandingkan dengan literatur. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa diagnosa awal penyakit yang menyerang ikan nila monosex yang dibudidayakan di kampung nila, desa Gumiwang, Banjarnegara pada bulan Juni hingga Agustus adalah serangan bakteri dari jenis Aeromonas hydrophila.
