Journal in Islamic Studies published by the Institute for Student Studies and Empowerment IAIN Purwokerto. Subjects include textual study and fieldwork with various perspectives on law, philosophy, mysticism, history, art, theology, and more. Initially, the journal only functioned as a print and electronic journal media that accommodated and published research results from theses/final assignments and/or part of theses/final assignments for students of IAIN Purwokerto S.1 and S.2, from multidisciplinary sciences. However, due to later developments with a wider audience, the journal has managed to invite scholars and researchers outside the Institute to contribute. Thus, Indonesian and non-Indonesian scholars have enriched studies published in journals. Although from the start Raushan Fikr did not present highly qualified scientific articles, the improvement — in terms of format, style, and academic quality — never stopped. Now with articles written in Indonesian, Arabic and English and with fair peer-review procedures, Raushan Fikr continues to publish research and studies related to Islamic studies with various dimensions and approaches. Raushan Fikr, published twice a year (1 volume and 2 numbers) in January and July, has always placed Islam and Muslims in the main focus of academic inquiry and invited comprehensive observations on Islam as a theological belief and system of society and Muslims as those who practice religion with many sides. This journal, serving as a forum for Islamic studies in Indonesia and other parts of the world in a local and challenging global context, supports theme-focused studies and interdisciplinary studies. Raushan Fikr has become a medium for diffusion and exchange of ideas and research findings, in such a way that researchers, writers and readers from various learning traditions have interacted in a scientific way.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and delve into Mulla Shadra’s views on epistemology and how these views are related to the concept of al-Hikmah al-Muta’aliyah. Analytical methods are employed to understand the philosophical arguments put forth by Mulla ShadraThis study showed that Mulla Shadra introduced an epistemology based on the understanding of al-Hikmah al-Muta’aliyah as the highest source of knowledge. He proposed that true knowledge could be attained through spiritual experience and contemplation, which includes self-understanding and the relationship with God. Intuition and revelation also play a crucial role in Mulla Shadra’s epistemology, where he emphasizes the importance of intuitive understanding as a profound source of knowledge

Abstract

The focus of this research is to explain the digital da’wah strategy of the Samarinda Keren (Cool) Da’wah Community by examining the da’wah process on social media through the personal accounts of the preachers. The results showed da’wah strategy of the Samarinda Cool Da’wah Community into three: (1) Manhaj al-’Athifi, (2) Manhaj al-Aqli, and (3) Manhaj-al-Hissi. In addition, the Introduction of mad’u or the third object of da’wah is by looking at the effect of the material presented, one of which is by looking at the response of mad’u through the comment column on whether to accept or reject. Preparing da’wah materials by the Qur’an and Hadith to determine a law that gives birth to various variants of science, by the current context and da’wah is carried out with the humility that characterizes it. Samarinda Cool Da’wah Community, utilizing social media as alternative to reach mad’u widely now.

Abstract

This article discusses mangaji tudang (Arabic: halaqah) initiated by AGH. As’ad at the pesantren of As’adiyah, which later developed and became a typical learning method for many pesantren in Eastern Indonesia. The phenomenon of mangaji tudang is used as a foothold in producing a pesantren-based model of Washatiyah. This article uses a type of literature processed based on the descriptive-analytical method concerning the socio-historical approach to related data to explore this goal. This article concludes that mangaji tudang not only brought students and the Bugis community to understand Islamic teachings but also created wasathiyah Islamic model. Thus, this article finds that mangaji tudang was initiated by AGH. As’ad is a learning method that integrates Islamic values into local culture, creating Wasathiyah Islamic model. Therefore, it is important to maintain, develop, and strengthen the existence of the mangaji tudang learning method to create a learning tradition that emphasizes Wasathiyah’s Islamic teachings

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of economic digitalization on sharia economic growth in Indonesia. This research uses a literature review method with a descriptive qualitative approach. The qualitative method is a research method based on the philosophy of postpositivism, used to examine the condition of natural objects. Secondary data was obtained through a literature study in which the object of research was journals, books, articles and previous studies that were relevant and related to the situation being studied. Other secondary data sources used to support this research are internet services, magazines, and news related to economic digitalization. The results of this study found that economic digitalization on sharia economic growth has a significant and positive influence. This can be interpreted that Islamic economic growth is influenced by technological developments. As technology develops, it has the potential to increase sharia economic growth in Indonesia

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to provide insight and more knowledge about shame in goodness by reviewing it from a hadith and psychological perspectives. The research method used in this study was to conduct interviews with one of the Islamic boarding schools in the East Bandung area and use the library research method. The results obtained from this study are that shame brings goodness if we are ashamed of the right things, and shame is highly recommended even by Rasulullah PBUH because shame will bring us peace of mind, but humans still have to be able to place shame on the right things. Shame is necessary in everyday life to maintain peace of mind, and shame leads us to positive things if we can put ourselves in the face of sham

Abstract

In the digital era, when the Internet is getting cheaper and easier to access, people’s interaction with the digital world is increasing. One of them is access to YouTube content, with various purposes, one of which is entertainment content with magic as the material. Pesulap Merah Production is one of these YouTube channels. More interestingly, the channel combines entertainment and Da’wa. This research emphasizes how Pesulap Merah carries out the Da’wa content by analyzing the YouTube content of Pesulap Merah Production. In the research results, Da’wa inserts in the content of Pesulap Merah are considered more appealing and acceptable to viewers amid various sensitive issues related to faith issues and social problems in society. With 3.2 million subscribers and an average of 200 thousand viewers, social changes that occur in society are one indicator of the success of this Da’wa

Abstract

This article examines the effectiveness of the Golek Garwo matchmaking initiative organized by the Forum Ta'aruf Indonesia in facilitating the formation of harmonious families. The Golek Garwo event took place in Sewon Bantul Yogyakarta. This study adopts a descriptive-analytical approach within the field research category. The primary data is sourced from alumni who have maintained successful marriages for 5 to 7 years. The findings indicate that the Golek Garwo program, managed by the Forum Ta’aruf Indonesia, has effectively contributed to the formation of harmonious family dynamics through arranged marriages. Predominantly, religiosity emerged as the principal determinant of marital harmony. Besides religiosity, several other supporting factors, including partner adjustment, effective communication, mutual openness, mutual understanding, and collaborative problem-solving, also strengthen marital cohesion

Abstract

The rising influence of social media has led to an increasing need for effective communication strategies across different sectors. This research examines the application of sharia-based communication ethics in providing information services through social media, particularly focusing on their impact on community engagement and local tax administrators. A mixed-methods approach is used, integrating qualitative interviews with social media analysis to assess the effectiveness of communication ethics such as qaulan baligha, qaulan syadida, qaulan layyina, qaulan karima, qaulan ma'rufa, and qaulan mashura. The findings reveal that while targeted and persuasive communication models (qaulan baligha) are implemented, overall user engagement remains low. Transparent communication (qaulan syadida) improves public trust, while respectful and courteous communication (qaulan layyina and qaulan karima) promotes positive interaction. Additionally, clear and easily understandable communication (qaulan ma'rufa and qaulan mashura) supports efficient information delivery. These results suggest that incorporating these communication ethics can enhance both information dissemination and public engagement on social media platforms.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of educators’ ICT skills and tutoring service satisfaction on student motivation in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at junior high schools. Using an associative approach, the quantitative research involved 120 students and 20 educators from 20 schools in Semarang City. Data collection included questionnaires, observations, and documentation, while analysis involved descriptive statistics, classical assumption tests, and multiple linear regression. Findings reveal that educators’ ICT proficiency significantly influences student motivation (t-value: 1.782 > t-table: 1.740, significance: 0.04 < 0.05). Tutoring service satisfaction also significantly impacts student motivation (significance: 0.00 < 0.05, t-value: 1.939 > t-table: 1.658). These results highlight the essential role of ICT skills and tutoring satisfaction in enhancing PAI student motivation

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of mental well-being on children from divorced or separated families in harmful environments, viewed through the lens of the Qur’an. It focuses on a student from the Islamic State University of North Sumatra (UINSU) who faced mental health challenges due to their parents’ divorce. According to the 2018 Basic Health Research statistics, about 9.8% of Indonesians suffer from emotional and mental problems, an increase from 2013. Contributing factors such as divorce, familial discord, and insufficient emotional support can worsen children's psychological well-being, especially in toxic environments. Using qualitative methods, including in-depth interviews and observations, data were gathered from UINSU students aged 18 to 25 from broken-home households. The data were processed using an interactive analysis involving data reduction, display, and conclusion/verification. Findings reveal that children of divorced or separated parents are more prone to mental health issues. However, understanding and applying Qur’anic teachings can help individuals overcome adverse effects and achieve inner peace. Parents must educate their children and ensure their needs are adequately met, with a tranquil and empathetic atmosphere crucial for optimal development. The research highlights the importance of the spiritual dimension in enhancing the mental well-being of children from divorced or separated families. It also underscores the need for a supportive environment to promote holistic mental health and the critical role of parental and community involvement in creating a nurturing and caring atmosphere for children's cognitive development.
