Abstract

The coast of Kampung Jawa Lama, Banda Sakti Sub-district, Lhokseumawe City is a fishing area and densely populated. The breakwater building in the coastal area of Kampung Jawa Lama is a sloping Breakwater with a height of 1.5 m and a width of 1 m. The type of breakwater used is usually determinet by the availability of material on the site. The problem in this research was the cause of abrasion and its impact, as well as how to plant coastal protection structures. The purpose of this study was to reduce the impact of erosion, abrasion and damage to the buildings and to re-evaluate coastal structures. The method used on this research is Hudson method and descriptive analysis by making direct observation and reviuwing research that has been done previously. The cause of abrasion is triggered by several factors such us tides, high sea waves and ocean currents that have the potential to cause damage as a result of strong winds that produce destructive waves. The community also receiver the impact of the abrasion, namely decreasing income, the place where they live is inundated by sea water and it affects the decline in the quality of life of the community. One of the efforts that can be applied to reduce the abrasion problem in the area is to build a Breakwater construction. Based on calculation, the results obtained in the planning reviuw of the existing shoreline protection building were 1.5 m, so that to prevent abrasion the increase in height of the building 4.074 m was 5.574 m with a peak width of 1 m so that increase of 0.20 m was 1.2 m, the thickness of the first layer of protection was 1.2 m and the thickness of the second layer was 0.60 m. The width of the leg guard is 1.8 m with a thickness of 0.5 m

Abstract

Heavy equipment plays an important role in construction work, especially road construction work. The advantage of using heavy equipment is that it can get the job done faster. Improper use of heavy equipment will cause losses, so an analysis of operational costs is very necessary. Accurate and complete calculation of heavy equipment operational costs will help companies to make decisions, especially from a financial perspective. The purpose of this study was to determine the analysis of the operating costs of heavy equipment, and to know the proper and proper handling of heavy equipment. Cost analysis on heavy equipment is expected to provide benefits to be able to plan heavy equipment management in a coordinated, effective and sustainable manner. This research was conducted on the project Peningkatan Jalan Alun-Alun Suka Makmue-Jalan Lingkar Timur Ibu Kota Tahap II which is located in the district Nagan Raya. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach, namely research that seeks to describe problem solving based on data that will be obtained in the field. This research was conducted on four types of heavy equipment, namely excavators, motor graders, vibrator rollers and water tanker trucks. The results of the calculation of the operational cost analysis of excavator heavy equipment Rp. 738,617 per hour, motor grader Rp. 572,401 per hour, vibrator roller Rp. 499,735 per hour and water tanker truck Rp. 348,859 per hour. From the results obtained, it shows that for heavy equipment excavators and motor graders there has not been a return on capital, while for heavy equipment vibrator rollers and water tankers there has been a return on capital. So for heavy equipment, vibrator rollers and water tanker trucks, it is feasible to replace them with new tools

Abstract

Mr. Muhammad Hasan is street one of the entrance gates to Banda Aceh City. The condition of the road is in steady condition, with a two-lane, two-way type divided with a median of 1.5 m wide. The role of this road is very strategic, considering that if a tsunami occurs, this road is one of the community's escaped roads. The results of initial observations of this road are still in a comfortable condition to drive, but it is necessary to research the level of service to anticipate its role as an escape road. Based on that, we want to know how the level of service on Jalan Mr. Muhammad Hasan. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of service Jalan Mr. Muhammad Hasan using the 1997 MKJI method. Data were collected through a survey of traffic volume and speed for 3 (three) days, namely Thursday, Friday and Sunday. The duration of the survey is 07.00-18.00 with 8 (eight) surveyors. The traffic volume is multiplied by the number emp, so we get the amount of flow at peak hours in the morning, afternoon and evening. The result of recording speed in m/second is converted to km/hour. Furthermore, the capacity of city roads, free flow speed and degree of saturation is calculated. Based on the value of capacity, speed and degree of saturation, the value of road service level is obtained. Based on the calculation results, the highest peak hours on observation day occurred in the afternoon, namely Thursday at 15.45-16.45 (2144 p.m./hour), Friday at 16.15-17.15 (2295 p.m./hour) and Sunday at 17.00-18.00 as many as 1698 smp/hour. hour. The capacity of the road on the three observation days was 6178 pcu/hour and the speed was 53.01 km/hour. The lowest degree of saturation occurred on Sunday afternoon at 0.18 and the highest occurred on Friday at 0.54 and overall it was still below 0.75 so there was no need for a scenario. The level of service in the morning and afternoon (Thursday, Friday, Sunday) still shows a value of A, while on Monday afternoon it becomes C and on Friday and Sunday it slightly decreases to B.

Abstract

In a certain period, the road pavement will be damaged so this pavement needs to be overlay. There is pavement damage that needs overlay activity in the highway, so the pavement is needed to maintain. This study is performed to find the overlay thick of pavement (overlay) by using Falling Weight Deflectometer (FWD) and Benkelman Beam (BB) tools. Overlay thick design is based on Design of Overlay Thick of Flexible Pavement by Deflection Method (Pd T-05-2005-B). The segment of this study is in Jalan Banda Aceh - Medan highway, the data that taken is from the same point between Falling Weight Deflectometer (FWD) and Benkelman Beam (BB). To design the thickness, this investigation needs the result deflection of Falling Weight Deflectometer (FWD) and Benkelman Beam (BB), then the value result is corrected. After the obtain corrected deflection value, the next process is calculating uniformty factor (FK), representative deflection (Dsbl ov), design deflection (Dstl ov), overlay thick (Ho), factor of overlay thickness (Fo), and corrected overlay thick (HT). The result of this study is the overlay thick from Falling Weight Deflectometer (FWD) and Benkelman Beam (BB), it is 5,235 cm for Falling Weight Deflectometer (FWD) and 3,722 cm for Benkelman Beam (BB). The result difference between Falling Weight Deflectometer (FWD) and Benkelman Beam (BB) is 1.513 cm or 28.90% in the percentage.

Abstract

The tofu processing sector is quickly expanding in tandem with the popularity of tofu meals among Indonesians. Unfortunately, the tofu industri's rapid growth has not been matched by effective waste management, and as a result, many businesses continue to dump liquid waste directly into rivers without treatment. In the Krueng Daroy and Krueng Doy River sections of Banda Aceh, there are three tofu factories that directly dump liquid waste into the river and have the potential to damage the river. As a result, the goal of this study is to examine the public's perception of tofu waste's influence on the river ecosystem and to assess public comprehension of tofu waste's impact on the environment. The descriptive analysis method was used in this study. Questionnaires, observations, and interviews were used to gather information. After that, the data was descriptively processed and weighted. The findings are divided into three categories: public perception of aesthetics, public perception of smell, and public perception of the environmental impact of tofu waste. More than 90% of the respondents thought that tofu waste had a negative impact on the environment's aesthetics and produced stink. The public's impression of tofu waste in the river environment is 78.56 percent, which means that more than 75 percent of respondents believe tofu waste has an environmental impact. It is included in the "disturbing" category based on the average attitude rating of 785.6. This demonstrates that tofu waste has a detrimental environmental impact. As a result, business actors must get a better understanding of the impact of tofu waste on the environment, as well as the efforts that must be done to reduce that impact, such as constructing an appropriate Waste Treatment Plant (IPAL) or repurposing tofu liquid waste for other purposes.

Abstract

Transportation is the movement of people or goods from one place to another using a vehicle driven by humans or machines. Along with its development, the number of vehicles in Banda Aceh is increasing. On the Tgk Chik Ditiro road, traffic jams often occur, because there are schools, offices, many traders who trade on the shoulder of the road and the sidewalk, there are several vehicles against the flow, and vehicles parked carelessly, there are delays or movement of traffic flow especially at the hour busy. Based on observations in the field, traffic flow at busy times is dominated by two wheels and four wheels, so that it affects the speed on the Tgk Chik Ditiro road in Banda Aceh City. The purpose of this research is to find out what percentage of the effect of the proportion of vehicles on road traffic flow and to get the value of the proportion of vehicles on the road. The results obtained for the highest traffic volume were obtained on Thursday 26 September 2019 at 17.00-18.00 amounting to 6669.60 pcu / hour, the value of road capacity was 4938 pcu / hour, while the level of road service with the degree of saturation obtained was 1.35 means the Jalan Tgk. Chik Ditiro Kota Banda Aceh is included in category F, where the flow is blocked, the speed is low, the volume is above capacity, and there is a delay. The results of traffic volume for 3 (three) days obtained the maximum proportion of two-wheeled vehicles on Thursday 26 September 2019 at 08.00-09.00 WIB with a value of 48.43%. For the Maximum Proportion of four-wheeled vehicles (LV) on Thursday 26 September 2019 at 17.00-18.00 WIB with a value of 74.77%. In the research, it can be seen that the dominant light vehicle growth affects these roads.

Abstract

Simpang Empat Jeuram Nagan Raya is often mentioned by local people as “Simpang Peut” is the main route of the city's arterial road serving traffic movement between districts or between provinces, which is located in Kuala District, Nagan Raya Regency. The intersection has four arms, serving the flow of 4 lanes of the main road with a median and 2 lanes of minor roads connecting the route for offices, residential residents, trade and as a route to the city center. The problem that is raised and also the purpose of research is how the performance of the intersection to traffic volume occurs in the four arms and distinguishes the difference between the current calculation and previous research. The limitations of the discussion are the research location at Simpang Empat Jeuram, the performance of the intersection based on the 1993 HCM method, side barriers and not predicting previous research. Based on the results, the current volume is 3,310 pcu/hour with a composition of 2,789 pcu/hour. The capacity of 4,009 pcu/hour is above the existing volume which is categorized as not jammed or not saturated. Side barriers 1,328 events are categorized as commercial areas and roadside market activity is very high. The degree of saturation is 0.70 < DS (DS < 0.80 - 0.90) with an average delay of 7.95 seconds/pcu and a queue length of 40% - 20% with a service level D where the current is unstable and sometimes has to slow down the speed of 43 km/hour. Previous research has shown significant results, because the increase in vehicles has continued to increase by 75% in the last 3 years.

Abstract

Good management of the project is a prerequisite for achieving project objectives. Every construction company must be able to demonstrate the quality of its services so that it can excel in the competition. The problem in this study is whether the role of stakeholders affects the success of a construction project and how much influence it has on the success of the project. In this study the sample taken was the Department of Housing and Settlements of Banda Aceh City and obtained 6 respondents and PT Coplanar Daya Maxima obtained 4 respondents. Respondents in the purpose of this study were to find out what roles and how much influence stakeholders have on the success of construction projects. Data collection technique is distributing questionnaires to respondents. Data processing was carried out using validity and reliability tests then data analysis using descriptive analysis and product moment correlation, as well as multiple linear regression using SPSS version 25. This study consisted of independent variables (X) consisting of owners (X1), employees (X2), suppliers (X3), consumers (X4), competitors (X5) and business licenses (X6) and the selection variable (Y). The test results for the validity of the r-table value of 0.6319 meet the requirements for r-count > r-table. The results of the reliability test show that all independent variables (X) and stakeholder determinant variables (Y) are reliable. This is because it has met the minimum coefficient of Cronbach Alpha, which is greater than 0.6. The results of descriptive analysis have the lowest mean value found in the employee variable (X2) and business license (X6) of 4.100 and the highest mean value of the supplier variable (X3) of 4.475 which shows that the average respondent's answer is important, then all variables play an important role in project success. construction. The results of multiple linear regression obtained the following equation: Y = 24.018 + 0.412X1 – 0.002X2 – 0.759X3 – 0.526X4 + 0.427X5 – 0.701X6. The analysis shows that the dominant influence of the role of stakeholders on the success of the project is in the supplier variable (X3) with a regression coefficient value of -0.759 and the level of relationship between suppliers (X3) and stakeholders. The results of the classification of the relationship level on the value of the correlation coefficient based on the interval table of the correlation coefficient value and the strength of the relationship.

Abstract

The material supply chain is a material distribution flow that varies from various sources or suppliers, until the material arrives at the project site. This study aimed to analyze material supply chain risk factors that arise in the implementation of building construction projects in Aceh Province, as well as identify solutions to prevent material supply chain risk factors that arise in the implementation of building construction projects in Aceh Province. The methods developed in this research are validity test, reliability test, quantitative descriptive, and multiple regression analysis through SPSS software version 25. From the validity test results obtained, the value of Rcount ≥ Rtable. This shows that the validity test performed on all questions is valid. Furthermore, the results of the reliability test obtained the average value of each variable of 0.708, then the reliability test was said to be reliable. Because the value of a variable is said to be reliable (reliable) if Cronbach Alpha value exceeds 0.6. Then from the results of the descriptive analysis, there are indicators that are often questioned as risk factors, namely the delay of the main contractor in paying subcontractors (X2.8) with a mean value of 3.39. This shows that the majority of respondents stated that X2.8 has a high influence on the occurrence of material supply chains in the implementation of construction projects. From the results of the correlation analysis, the R value of 0.382 (low/weak), then the two variables have a unidirectional relationship. This means that if the value of the X variable is high, then the value of the Y variable will also be high or if it means that all X variables are related to material supply chain risk, and the regression model obtained is: Ŷ=7.408+0.096X1-0.006.X2+ 0.132X3+0.112X4. From the results of the coefficient of determination, the value of R2 = 14.6%, which means that the risk of the material supply chain is influenced by supply factors, control factors, demand factors, process factors, amounting to 14.6%, the remaining 85.4% is influenced by other factors variables which are not included in this study.
