Abstract

Patient safety is a top priority in healthcare, and proper patient identification is the first step in preventing medical errors. A preliminary study at Indriati Hospital in Boyolali found misidentification and medication errors. This study aims to review the implementation of patient identification based on Patient Safety Goal (SKP) 1, STARKES 2024 version. This study used a descriptive qualitative method with a cross-sectional approach. Data collection techniques were carried out through in-depth interviews and observations of staff directly involved in the patient identification process. Data analysis was carried out through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results show that Indriati Hospital in Boyolali has regulations and SOPs for patient identification that meet standards. Patient identification is carried out using at least two identities such as full name and date of birth, and is supported by the use of identity bracelets. This process has been implemented before medical procedures and feeding. However, implementation in special situations such as disasters has not been optimal, and obstacles still exist in terms of interprofessional coordination. The conclusion of this study indicates that the implementation of patient identification has generally been running well, but there is still a need to improve staff understanding and collaboration between units. The suggestions given are to increase regular training, socialize SOPs, and strengthen cross-professional communication to ensure the accuracy of patient identification in various conditions

Abstract

Hospitals play a vital role in providing medical services to the community. In an effort to improve service quality, RSU Aprilia Cilacap has introduced an innovation by implementing an online registration system. This study aims to evaluate the clarity of the registration procedures and patient satisfaction with the online service, as well as to identify obstacles encountered during its implementation. This study used a quantitative approach with a descriptive correlational design. The sampling technique used was consecutive sampling. Data collection was conducted by distributing questionnaires to 38 outpatient respondents. The results indicate that 42.1% of respondents found the online registration procedures unclear, and the same percentage expressed dissatisfaction with the service. Conversely, 34.5% stated that the procedures were very clear, and 39.4% reported being very satisfied with the service. The Rank-Spearman statistical test yielded an r value = 0.835 with a p value = 0.000. This finding indicates a significant relationship between procedural clarity and the level of satisfaction with online outpatient registration at Aprilia Cilacap Hospital. The main obstacles identified include the lack of systematic and comprehensive procedural guidelines and low digital literacy among some patients. Therefore, increasing outreach and education regarding the use of the online registration system is a crucial step in improving the quality of service at Aprilia Cilacap Hospital.

Abstract

The accuracy of diagnosis recording can affect the accuracy of coding. If the diagnosis written by the doctor is unclear, the coder will have difficulty in determining the diagnosis code. Based on the results of an initial survey at PKU Muhammadiyah Wonogiri Hospital, the accuracy of diagnosis recording was 50% and the accuracy of diagnosis coding was 50%. This study aims to determine the relationship between the accuracy of diagnosis recording on the medical resume sheet and the accuracy of inpatient case coding. This type of research is analytical with a cross-sectional approach design. The population was 1,036 DRM and a sample of 92 DRM with a simple random sampling technique. Data analysis was univariate and bivariate analysis using the chi-square statistical test. The results showed that the accuracy of diagnosis recording on the medical resume sheet was 54% greater than the inaccuracy of 46%, while the accuracy of inpatient coding was greater at 71% compared to the inaccuracy of 29%. The results of the chi-square test using the SPSS 23 application showed a p-value of 0.032 < 0.05, which means there is a relationship between the accuracy of recording diagnoses on the medical resume sheet and the accuracy of coding inpatients at PKU Muhammadiyah Wonogiri Hospital. It is recommended that coders be more careful in reading diagnoses and reviewing the results of supporting examinations to avoid coding errors and update the list of disease abbreviations more comprehensively to standardize doctors in recording diagnoses.

Abstract

Technological advances in the transportation sector are currently increasing rapidly, especially in this advanced era. Indonesia has a human population of 273.5 million. It is not surprising that Indonesia is the 15th largest country in the world. There are several options for air circulation in a room, depending on what kind of room you are in. The spaces in the building have a connection between spaces which is called circulation. Circulation is also a movement path which can be said to be a thread or rope which has the aim of connecting spaces within a building and also connecting indoor and outdoor spaces. Circulation also becomes a place for someone to feel a space through that person's origin and destination. In a building, circulation is a positive element that can influence a person's perception of the shape and space in the building.

Abstract

The chicken slaughterhouse business is one of the industries developed to fulfil the community's need for animal protein. Along with the increasing consumption of chicken meat by the community, the amount of waste generated by the Chicken Slaughterhouse (RPA) is also increasing. Waste generated in RPA is divided into two types, namely solid waste and liquid waste. Solid waste includes chicken feathers, rumen contents, and chicken manure, while liquid waste comes from blood, water used for washing chickens, and water used for cleaning equipment mixed with fat and blood. Based on observations, solid waste generated by PT Ciomas Adisatwa will be reprocessed into fertiliser or processed into flour that can be used as animal feed. Unutilised chicken waste can result in environmental pollution. The results showed that the production process carried out by PT Ciomas Adisatwa was in accordance with halal provisions and standards.

Abstract

PT P, a sugar manufacturing company, has a sugar factory located in the Sidoarjo area. SHS sugar and quality manufacturing company. Production problems often cause long production delays, therefore managing the production process is very important. Failure modes and effects analysis (FMEA) was used to determine possible failure modes of sugar production. In the test results, various kinds of problems were found: transportation, grinding, purification, evaporation, crystallization. There are 5 factors that cause production inefficiency, namely: human factors, word methods, environment, raw materials and machines used. This resulted in that when the sugar production process was not optimal at PT P, the FMEA method was used to minimize production constraints in order to achieve production targets. After observing using the FMEA method, a value of 480 was obtained in the milling process.

Abstract

Globalization and the rising demand for energy have certainly led to ever greater needs in fossil fuel. Certainly several nations are researching new sources of energy, and hydrogen is a fuel that burns cleanly. Meanwhile in the transportation industry, hydrogen-powered cars being developed aim at once for maximum fuel efficiency and for significantly less poisonous vapors in the air for people to breathe but also caused by their partial exhausts--because these are now eliminated entirely thanks to complete conversion of hydrocarbons into water vapor plus some extra CO2.Using this review, the author wants to do a summary of how hydrogen is a internal combustion engine fuel, covering both spark-ignition (SI) and compression-ignition (CI) motors.Using hydrogen as a fuel for internal combustion engines lowers the torque, output, and brake thermal efficiency of them while their brake-specific fuel consumption changes little. There is data that indicates that by using hydrogen, emission of CO, UHC, CO2 and soot from an engine can be reduced. On the other hand, NOx is expected to increase because more air enters into the combustion chamber to pick up a large amount of water vapor in addition.Hydrogen fuel, as an energy source, is clean and renewable which can promote sustained development of the environment for everyone to enjoy. Highlights: Hydrogen reduces major emissions such as CO, UHC, CO₂, and soot in IC engines. Engine performance decreases slightly, with lower torque and brake thermal efficiency. NOx tends to increase due to higher combustion temperatures and excess air. Keywords: hydrogen fuel ; Hydrogen ICE; renewable energy; efficiency; emissions
