It can be said that the rules of interpretation are guidelines compiled by scholars with in-depth study in order to obtain maximum results in understanding the meanings of the Qur'an, the laws, and various kinds of guidance contained therein. In this discussion, the author tries to explain with the aim of how to understand the utterance of nash. The discussions are detailed in such a way according to its importance in capturing the divine messages, especially the nash of the Qur'an, and it should be underlined that the rules of tafsir include many parts, one of which is the theory in the realm of Usul Fiqh science which is part of the Islamic branch of Science which broadly discusses how to explore and bring up the Shari'ah law from the nash in the Qur'an. The method used by researchers is a qualitative research method, which relies on the study of literature sourced from several books and journals. The result of this discussion is that learning the Arabic language is an urgency or an absolute requirement to draw meaning from the message of the Qur'an, because in studying the science of Usul Fiqh, in fact, it will never be separated from the Arabic language, in understanding the utterance in terms of its meaning, both clear and unclear. Pronouncements that can not be interpreted clearly or mubham, that's what causes a lot of differences in interpretation of the statement and it is important to be studied more deeply

Hermeneutics functions as a theory of interpretation, closely related to language. One that cannot be separated from language is text, which requires a series of reading tools to understand it, one of which is the theory of hermeneutics. This article aims to find out the thoughts of Schleiermacher and Dilthey as the originators of romantic hermeneutics and their application in hadith. This article is qualitative in nature with literature data related to Schleiermacher and Dilthey's hermeneutical thinking and hadith about women's leadership. Through a philosophy of science approach, this article finds that Schleiermacher is the father of modern hermeneutics whose ideas about the mental world were developed by Dilthey who explained about the socio-historical world. The article also explores the concept of pillars in the Quran and their differences from the Western view. In the Quran, pillars are often used as a symbol of stability and strength, representing the steadfastness of believers in their faith. This concept is different from the Western view, where pillars are often seen as mere structural elements that provide support. The philosophical implications of a pillar-less sky in the Quran are also discussed in the article. The symbolism of a pillar-less sky represents the idea of unity and impartiality in Islam, which emphasizes the importance of a unified and impartial approach to life. This concept has practical implications in everyday life, as it encourages individuals to adopt an open-minded and inclusive attitude towards others. Overall, this article aims to provide a deeper understanding of the Quranic concept of a pillar-less sky and its philosophical implications in everyday life. By exploring the symbolism and significance of this concept, readers can gain a greater appreciation of the wisdom and guidance offered by the Quran in understanding the universe and living a fulfilling life

The purpose of this study was to find out the characteristic of al-Quran commentary from Ahmad Musthafa al-Maraghi. The method used in this research is qualitative method or library research. The results of the research found that based on fifty years experience as an Arabic teacher, al-Maraghi’s commentary was written in simple expression that easily to be understood. His book of commentary published for the first time in 1951. The commentary of Al-Maraghi was using analytical or tahlili method. The explanation originates from the primary source in the form of the Qur'an, Hadith, Qaul Companions, Qaul tabi'in, as well as the opinions of other scholars as secondary source. The systematics adopted by Al-Maraghi is to mention the name of the sura and the number of verses, mention madaniyah or makkiyah, general explanation of each sura, asbab nuzul, explanation of selected vocabulary, using simple expression, detail explanation of each verse, and strictly selective to israiliyat story

Assuming that science alone could represent reality and the facts of the proclamation of nature, the materialistic paradigm that originated in the West divorced science from religion and viewed Islamic science as being opposed to relativity and the affirmation of transcendence. This research intends to demonstrate how the Qur'anic construction of reality serves as the foundation for the advancement of Islamic science. This study also highlights several issues brought about by Scientism's haughtiness, as well as by its own justifications and those of Muslim intellectuals. Researchers collected data utilizing descriptive analysis research methodologies from the Koran, hadith, and books using library research as the source. The results of this investigation demonstrate that scientism is an unscientific philosophy that is neither philosophically rational nor scientific. The paper also comes to the conclusion that natural science cannot be the exclusive means of understanding reality from the perspective of Islamic Science philosophy since methodology is intrinsically tied to the levels and diversity of existence as matter or data. According to epistemology, the interaction between the subject's (reviewer) and the object's faculties of science is the science's method and takes place during an intellectual process for the purpose of producing a science

Theft is a crime that often occurs in society with various targets. The rampant theft that has occurred has caused unrest for the local community. Because, theft is not more or less done by the way the perpetrator of theft kills the victim so that his crime is not known to anyone. For this reason, handling is needed in overcoming this crime of theft by applying Islamic law so that the perpetrators are deterred and the community lives peacefully. The main issues that we will examine in this study are: Analyzing the punishment of cutting hands in theft contained in Qs. Al-Maidah: 38 where the perpetrators of theft, both men and women who commit theft, will be subject to Had Amputation. relates to Hand Amputation and will provide conclusions regarding the application of Hand Amputation in Theft

A mistake in understanding these verses about jihād and qitāl can trigger the emergence of various radical ideas. Someone with radical views only understands these verses textually, so he will assume that all non-Muslims must be fought. One of the efforts to deradicalize such an understanding is to study and analyze the verses of jihad and qital with semantic analysis and historical context. Semantic analysis is used to analyze variations and contexts of word meanings from key words in the Qur'an. The keywords analyzed in this study are the terms "al-qitāl and al-jihād". Based on this analysis, in the Mecca period, neither of these two terms were synonymous with war or violence. In addition, these two terms experienced several shifts in meaning when entering the Medina period. Meanwhile, the historical context is used to trace various events that accompanied the revelation of the Qur'an. The decline of these verses was motivated by the negative behavior of polytheists towards Muslims which was carried out continuously. The revelation of these verses is the last alternative to defend against the attacks of the polytheists. This type of research is library research, while the main reference sources are verses about jihād and qitāl. It is hoped that this research can straighten out various radical ideas about the verses of jihad and qitāl and can become part of the treasures of religious moderation for Indonesian citizens

Interpretation of the archipelago is a manifestation of the assessment of the Qur'an by Nusantara scholars. The emergence of tafsir al-Qur'an in the archipelago cannot be separated from the process of evaluating and writing it down as part of the Ulama' efforts to understand and spread Islamic teachings. In this context, locality also colors various nuances of interpretation of the Qur'an, both in terms of interpreting the Qur'an in prayer rooms, mosques and Islamic boarding schools or in writing interpretations using local symbols in shapes such as pegon or Latin. In another aspect, the contribution of the influence of Middle Eastern Ulama influenced many Indonesian Ulama who made a genealogy of thoughts that shaped different tendencies in each season. The locality of Nusantara tafsir has different tendencies in each period. The dynamics of methods and approaches seem to encounter an anti-climax in the contemporary period with social-community nuances. Through thematic methods and contextualist approaches, it is very different from the previous period, especially with regard to the interpretation of the themes of infidels, people of the book and non-Muslims. Interpretation of these themes in the modern period was mostly carried out to find understandings that were considered essential and contextual in accordance with the problems faced by Muslims. The pattern of social relations between religious communities becomes the centrality in the thematic discussion of the verses of kafir, ahl al-kitab and non-Muslims which at first glance is a concept of the pattern of relations between Muslims and non-Muslims in theological and social aspects.

This study aims to explain: How is local wisdom in the book Tarjuman al-Mustafid by Abdul Rauf al-Singkili. This study used a descriptive method of analysis. The results showed that: Abdul Rauf Singkel the first tafsir scholar in the archipelago in the 17th century, evidenced by his tafsir work Tarjuman al-Mustafid. This Tafsir is written in full 30 Juz al-Qur'an with Malay Arabic script. In Abdul Rauf's interpretation in the book Tarjuman al-Mustafid found several elements of locality in it, such as the words syak, sail, kersa, rice, telekung, etc. So it can be said that there is a lot of local wisdom in the interpretation of this Tarjuman al-Mustafid book
