Abstract

The aim of this research is to explain tolerance from Hamka's perspective which the author found in Tafsir Al-Azhar. This paper finds the principles of tolerance in Hamka's Tafsir Al-Azhar. Tafsir Al-Azhar is a commentary on Hamka's work which focuses more on the adâbi ijtimâ'i interpretation style. This can be seen in the explanation in Tafsir Al-Azhar regarding the principles of tolerance, such as: Compassion and good behavior between religious communities (Q.S. al-Fâtihah/1: 1), freedom of religion (Q.S. al-Baqarah/2: 256; al-Kahfi/18: 29), Enable tolerance amidst diversity, (Q.S. al-Hujurât/49: 13, Mutual respect between religious communities, (Q.S. al-Baqarah/2: 62). This research uses an approach literature (library research). The research method used in this scientific work is qualitative research methods. The conclusion in this research is that tolerance Hamka in Tafsir Al-Azhar promotes the paradigm of tolerance between religious communities, that in social life there are various kinds of differences such as ethnicity, race, language, culture, customs and also religion. With an attitude of tolerance, a person can invite peace towards other religions and give freedom to followers of certain religions in choosing a religion according to their respective beliefs without any coercion

Abstract

Buya Hamka, or Haji Abdul Malik Karim Amrullah, is a revolutionary figure in Islamic education in Indonesia. His progressive thoughts blend traditional Islamic values with modern ideas, creating a new educational paradigm relevant to contemporary developments. This study examines the influence of Buya Hamka's thoughts and interpretations of educational verses in the Quran on the development of Islamic education in Indonesia. Through "Tafsir Al-Azhar," Buya Hamka offers contextual interpretations that integrate traditional Islamic values with modern thought, establishing an educational paradigm pertinent to the times. This research employs qualitative analysis methods with book research for data collection. The findings reveal several implications of Hamka's interpretations for Islamic education in Indonesia, including implications for the nature of education, which is not merely focused on the transfer of knowledge, character education theory, and the ultimate goals of education. Additionally, the study identifies implications for Indonesian educational policies, methods of educational application that encompass both cognitive and psychomotor aspects, and the implications for educational institutions he founded.

Abstract

The Quran as a guide for Muslims, especially for preachers, explains several values ??of tolerance. Based on the results of research that the author has conducted, there are several values ??of tolerance in preaching that originate from the Quran. First, dakwah with wisdom and good advice (QS. an-Nahl/16: 125). Second, dakwah with polite/gentle words. (QS. Taha/ 20: 43-44 and some fragments of verses in QS. an-Nahl/16: 125. Third, dakwah by respecting the beliefs of other believers (QS. al-An’am/6: 108 and QS. al-Kafirun/109: 1-6. Fourth, dakwah with humility (QS. as-Shu'ara '/26: 215). This research is a type of library research, namely research that object of study is library data form books and books of interpretation, as well as several other supporting references. It is hoped that this research will become one of the scientific treasures in the study of the interpretation of the Qur’an, especially the verses about the values ??of tolerance in da’wah. Apart from that, it is hoped that the results of this research can become a reference source in preaching towards a pluralistic society, especially in the Indonesian context. Da'wah that prioritizes the values ??of tolerance can eliminate divisions and disputes in social life

Abstract

This research examines religion and humanity from the perspective of the value of diversity referring to Surah al-Hujurat verse 13. A multicultural Indonesian society consisting of ethnic, cultural and religious aspects will have logical consequences for an attitude of understanding and respecting differences. So that diversity is seen as a necessity in all aspects of life without having to cause conflict. In the Qur'an, especially in Surah al-Hujurat verse 13, we find a portrait of a multicultural society as the embodiment of the symbol of Bhinneka Tunggal Ika. In this research, the method used is a literature study with technical data analysis in the form of analytical descriptive. The findings of this research are values reflected in the opinions of the mufassir, namely the value of syumuliyyah, the value of kafa'ah and the value of tasamuh. These three values should be internalized and implemented in realizing the spirit of religion in the context of national and state life.

Abstract

Human existence both as social and individual beings will certainly require knowledge in carrying out their role in life in the world. This study aims to determine the concept of Muslim human progress in the perspective of al-Qur'an Surat Al-Mujadalah verse 11. The research method used is library research with descriptive qualitative research. The results obtained from data analysis are that the concept of progressive Muslim man in the perspective of al-Qur'an Surat Al-Mujadalah verse 11 is (1) Muslim man who has strong faith and aqidah, especially in running his life in the world. (2) Muslims who make the Qur'an as a guide and differentiator between right and wrong in their lives and with knowledge Allah raises their degrees higher than other Muslims. (3) servants of the most merciful Allah.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze political dynasties based on the Qur'an, Verse 124 of Surah Al-Baqarah and Verses 12 and 23 of Surah At-Taubah from the Perspective of Al-Misbah by Quraish Shihab. The focus of this study includes aspects of the interpretive analysis of the two verses related to political dynasties. The issue of traditional legislation is the regulation of the distribution of power in a rough period because it only focuses on blood or relatives to control power. The author of this article explains the research material that he wants to discuss by collecting various library sources based on primary and secondary data or applying the concept of qualitative research and a data collection approach based on literature studies. The important information used is the Tafsir Al-Misbah by Quraish Shihab, while the selected information is in the form of various primary data that correlate with the research. Based on the research analysis, several findings were obtained. First, power and leadership come from God and are not privileges based on blood, kinship, or lineage.

Abstract

The focus of this research is to find out more about Muhammad Mutawalli Al-Sya'rawi's moderation paradigm in his commentary book, Tafsîr Al-Sya'râwî. By presenting Al-Sya'rawi's views, understanding, and interpretation of the verses that form the basis of religious moderation directly from his monumental work, Tafsîr Al-Sya'râwî, this research uses library research methods. The author collects data and processes the data using descriptive analytical and comparative methods to compare the various opinions found.

Abstract

Social capital collected through the mosque instrument can be used as a source of community empowerment efforts. The mosque is not only positioned as a place to carry out ritual activities of devotion but is also intended for managing community issues related to the interests of the community's livelihood, as well as the interest in analyzing the extent of the strengths and weaknesses of the community in responding to various social situations that surround it. Through the concept of social capital, it was found that the social strength of the community is not only born and arises from external encouragement, but more than that, it arises and is motivated by the traditions and teachings of Islam itself. In fact, this internal encouragement is quite strong because it is based on ideological motivation. Through regulatory support, economic centers and community empowerment can be specifically diverted and managed by the mosque as the vanguard. This is what can be done by focusing on the performance of zakat, infaq and sedekah, as well as baitul maal which are managed professionally and modernly through the mosque instrument.

Abstract

This research examines sexual exploitation in the perspective of the Qur'an which is explored through the analysis of Ashghar Ali Engineer's theology of women's liberation. The research method used in this study uses a descriptive qualitative method with a library research approach and content analysis techniques. QS. An-Nur/24: 33 contains principles that protect individual rights, justice, human equality, privacy rights, social welfare and respect for the dignity of women. This verse emphasizes that every human being is only a slave to Allah and not a slave to other humans and humans will be held accountable for the crimes they commit sexually to others. From the aspect of rejection of the status quo, this verse encourages Muslim communities to oppose the normalization of the weakening of women in a society or system that perpetuates cases of sexual exploitation in various lines such as political, legal, social, economic, or cultural. The value of QS. An-Nur/24: 33 regarding the release of the Prophet Muhammad PBUH against Musaikah and Umaimah and the fight against sexual exploitation can be an inspiration for the revitalization of the process of liberating sexual exploitation cases based on Islamic history.

Abstract

The Islamic view that the body is the structure of a Muslim's personality. Islam is a perfect religion. The physical structure will not be able to form an outward behavior, and vice versa the spirit will not function if there is no body as a vessel for the spirit. These two things reflect that humans are the noblest and most beautiful creatures compared to other creatures created by Allah SWT. Health includes physical and spiritual. The aim of the research is to find out the Physical Education of sport and health in the Al-Qur'an. The research method uses a qualitative descriptive study of the verses of the Koran which have the intention of physical education, sports and health. The data source of this research uses secondary and primary data. Methods of data collection using the method of content analysis and manuscript review. Data analysis techniques used content analysis and literature review. The results of the research are exercise and rest in the Qur'an namely Al-Furqan: 47, Al-Qashahs: 73, An-Naba': 9, Ar-Rum: 23). Furthermore, regulate diet and health (Al-A'raf: 31, Al-Mukmin: 43, Al-Maidah: 5). The verses of the Qur'an in Sports Physical Education and Health in the World of Education are understood in the context of events and to give attention in the context of self-effort to worship Allah
