Abstract

This study was motivated by the low level of extrinsic motivation and fluctuating productivity of employees in the production division of an instant food company with limited technological infrastructure. The study aims to design and test a non-digital gamification system based on game elements such as points, badges, and leaderboards to increase employees' extrinsic motivation and work productivity. This study uses a mixed-method approach with an exploratory sequential design. The initial stage involved in-depth interviews and thematic analysis to formulate gamification interventions. Next, the quantitative stage was carried out by distributing Likert questionnaires to production employees. The data were analyzed using PLS-SEM. The results showed that the application of non-digital gamification significantly increased extrinsic motivation (B=0.736; p<0.001) and employee productivity (B=0.601; p=0.008). However, extrinsic motivation did not significantly affect productivity (p=0.475) and did not mediate the gamification-productivity relationship. These findings provide empirical contributions to HR management with applicable gamification strategies, as well as implications for companies to implement game elements in reward systems without relying on advanced technology.

Abstract

MSMEs are business activities carried out by individuals or small groups, which are currently experiencing significant growth. This study aims to design an adaptive marketing strategy for Mustikasari MSMEs by combining the Value Proposition Canvas (VPC) and Business Model Canvas (BMC) approaches. VPC is used to identify the value expected by customers with the value offered by Mustikasari MSMEs. Meanwhile, BMC provides a complete picture of the Mustikasari MSME business model. Based on the analysis results, it shows that customers prioritize taste quality, product variety, and ease of ordering products. However, Mustikasari MSMEs also face weaknesses in their digital promotion system and distribution channels, which are still focused on physical stores only. The proposed adaptive marketing strategy includes increasing digital promotion through social media, developing sales channels through marketplaces, developing new variants in line with current trends, and strengthening local partnerships. Combining the VPC and BMC approaches provides a solution for Mustikasari MSMEs in designing an adaptive marketing strategy that is responsive to market changes and customer needs. Additionally, the results of this study are also expected to contribute to enhancing the competitiveness of MSMEs in the current digital era through structured and digital-based marketing strategies.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) make a significant contribution to the Indonesian economy, particularly in employment absorption and as drivers of the real sector. However, MSMEs often face challenges in the distribution aspect, especially related to inefficient delivery routes that result in high operational costs. This study focuses on designing optimal distribution routes for a Cuanki MSME in Garut Regency by applying the heuristic Saving Matrix method combined with the Milk Run system. The research approach used is descriptive quantitative, with data obtained through direct observation, interviews with the business owner, and measurement of distances between customers using Google Maps. The analyzed data include daily customer demand, coordinate points, vehicle capacity, and existing distribution routes. The analysis stages involve the preparation of distance and demand matrices, calculation of distance savings using the Saving Matrix method, and determination of integrated distribution routes using the Milk Run system to combine multiple delivery points in a single trip according to vehicle capacity. The results show a significant improvement in distribution efficiency, indicated by a reduction in total travel distance from 182 km to 156.3 km, a decrease in fuel costs from IDR 236,842.11 to IDR 217,518.80, and monthly operational cost savings of 27.49% compared to actual conditions. These findings demonstrate that the combination of the Saving Matrix method and the Milk Run system is capable of improving distribution performance, reducing logistics costs, and optimizing vehicle capacity utilization.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi telah menjadikan internet broadband sebagai kebutuhan penting dalam pendidikan, bisnis, komunikasi, dan aktivitas sehari-hari. Kondisi ini menuntut penyedia layanan internet untuk menjaga kualitas agar sesuai dengan harapan pelanggan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengukur tingkat kepuasan pelanggan PT. Jujur Amanah Barokah sekaligus mengidentifikasi aspek layanan yang perlu diprioritaskan untuk perbaikan. Metode yang digunakan adalah Service Quality (SERVQUAL) untuk menganalisis kesenjangan antara harapan dan persepsi pelanggan, serta Indeks Performance Matriks (IPM) untuk memetakan atribut layanan berdasarkan tingkat kepentingan dan kinerja. Data diperoleh melalui penyebaran kuesioner kepada 50 pelanggan aktif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya kesenjangan negatif pada beberapa dimensi, dengan fokus utama pada daya tanggap dan kestabilan koneksi yang masuk kategori prioritas perbaikan. Secara ilmiah, penelitian ini berkontribusi dengan menunjukkan relevansi integrasi SERVQUAL dan IPM dalam mengevaluasi kualitas layanan internet pada perusahaan lokal, sehingga memperkaya literatur mengenai manajemen kualitas layanan di pasar berkembang. Secara praktis, temuan ini memberikan dasar strategis bagi perusahaan dalam merancang perbaikan layanan yang lebih terarah, guna meningkatkan kepuasan sekaligus membangun loyalitas pelanggan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang strategi pemasaran digital produk olahan kentang Taman Teknologi Pertanian (TTP) Cikajang dengan memanfaatkan kerangka SOSTAC serta metode Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi adalah kurang optimalnya pemanfaatan saluran digital, sehingga penjualan masih terbatas pada warung sekitar dan pembelian langsung. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara dan kuesioner, kemudian dianalisis dengan perangkat lunak Super Decisions. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kriteria paling berpengaruh adalah dampak terhadap penjualan (0,4412), sedangkan strategi prioritas adalah TikTok Live dan Konten Interaktif (0,3323). Strategi lain seperti Gratis Ongkir, Giveaway dan Event Lokal, serta Instagram Marketing dapat dijalankan sebagai pendukung. Dengan demikian, TTP Cikajang perlu memfokuskan strategi pada media sosial interaktif, khususnya TikTok Live, untuk meningkatkan keterlibatan konsumen dan memperluas pasar digital.

Abstract

Defective products are a significant issue in the production process because they lead to increased working time and operational costs. This study aims to analyze the main causes of defects in 1 m³ oxygen trolley products at CV XYZ and to formulate improvement proposals to reduce the product defect rate. The Six Sigma method with the DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) approach was systematically applied. In the Analyze stage, the main factors causing defects included the use of paint materials that did not meet standards, lack of worker accuracy, suboptimal working environment conditions, inconsistencies in the production process, and problems related to machines and equipment. The proposed improvements included the use of standardized epoxy powder coating paint, the implementation of a 5R culture to improve workplace organization and efficiency, and the application of a check-and-balance system at every stage of the painting process. The implementation of these improvements resulted in a reduction of the dominant defect percentage from 61 percent to 40 percent. In the Control stage, analysis using a P-Chart showed that the defect proportion remained within control limits and tended to decrease. The increase in the Sigma value from 2.30 to 2.36 indicates a significant improvement in product quality.

Abstract

PT Philnesia International faced problems in the teak log grading process due to the absence of a standard operating procedure (SOP). Before the SOP was designed, grading was based on the experience of each grader, which often led to differences in perception regarding wood specifications. This situation resulted in errors in recording and price calculations, which impacted the company's profits. This study aims to develop a teak log grading SOP that can be used as a uniform reference for all graders, as well as to test its effectiveness in improving the consistency and accuracy of grading results at PT Philnesia International. The study uses a descriptive qualitative method with a data triangulation approach through interviews, observations, document analysis, and sampling tests. Spot checks were conducted on 100 samples before the implementation of the SOP and 100 samples after the implementation of the SOP. The results of the study showed a significant decrease in the number of errors, from 60 cases before the SOP to only 13 cases after the SOP was implemented. The implementation of the SOP has been proven to improve the consistency, efficiency, and accountability of the grading process. The existence of SOPs will help reduce errors in the grading process, which will have an impact on subsequent processes such as the final product price and buyer satisfaction with the quality of raw materials.

Abstract

Predictive Maintenance menjadi strategi kunci dalam meningkatkan keandalan dan efisiensi aset pada era industri 4.0. Namun, Sebagian besar pendekatan yang ada bergantung pada data sensor, sehingga sulit diterapkan pada perusahaan yang belum memiliki infrastruktur sensor. Penelitian ini menyajikan systematic literature review (SLR) terhadap pendekatan predictive maintenance berbasis Remaining Useful life (RUL) dan Gated Recurrent Unit (GRU), dengan fokus pada potensi penerapan nya pada mesin vertical liquid packaging di industri makanan. Kajian ini dilakukan terhadap 25 artikel periode 2017-2024 menggunakan pedoman PRISMA 2020. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas penelitian masih berbasis data sensor dan berfokus pada industry berat, sementara studi yang memanfaatkan data historis non-sensor masih sangat terbatas. Selain itu, pendekatan hybrid RUL-GRU hanya ditemukan pada sebagian kecil penelitian dan belum pernah diterapkan pada konteks industry pengolahan makanan. Studi ini berkontribusi dengan memetakan kesenjangan riset tersebut serta merumuskan kerangka konseptual penerapan predictive maintenance berbasis RUL-GRU menggunakan data historis non-sensor. Temuan ini memberikan landasan ilmiah bagi pengembangan strategi pemeliharaan berbasis data pada perusahan dengan keterbatasan infrastruktur sensor.

Abstract

This study discusses the impact of doomscrolling on vigilance and operational performance within manufacturing systems. In production environments that demand high levels of attention, repeated exposure to negative digital content has the potential to disrupt workers’ cognitive stability and increase the risk of operational errors. The research employed a qualitative approach through a narrative-critical literature review with interdisciplinary integration covering industrial ergonomics, human factors, occupational psychology, and workplace safety. The research stages included literature searches in major scientific databases, selection based on relevance to digital distraction and work performance, and thematic analysis to identify the main mechanisms linking digital behavior with operational performance. The analysis results indicate that doomscrolling contributes to attention fragmentation, increased emotional burden, a higher probability of errors in high-risk tasks, and decreased sustained performance due to attentional residue. These findings suggest that doomscrolling can reduce situational awareness and disrupt the stability of manufacturing production systems. Practically, this study emphasizes the importance of managing digital distractions as part of industrial safety and operations management systems. The study also proposes a managerial checklist framework as a guideline for reducing attention-based error risks in manufacturing environments.

Abstract

PT XYZ faces a high downtime problem in Cement Mill Unit One, which has an impact on decreasing productivity and operational efficiency. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness level of the machine using the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) method and to identify the root causes of the problems through Six Big Losses analysis and Fishbone Diagram. The results show that the average OEE value of Cement Mill Unit One in 2024 only reached 57 percent, which is still below the international ideal standard of 85 percent. This low effectiveness is dominated by idling and minor stoppages at 32.30 percent, followed by reduced speed losses at 23 percent, and equipment failure loss at 17.57 percent. Through the Fishbone Diagram analysis, the main causes of these losses were found to originate from human, machine, method, and environmental aspects. The proposed improvement recommendations include digitalizing maintenance documentation, implementing strict routine maintenance scheduling, improving operator competence, controlling the moisture content of input materials, and optimizing workplace cleanliness.
