Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of knowledge management in achieving sustainable competitive advantage at Private Universities (PTS) in Garut, by examining both its direct and indirect effects through dynamic capabilities as a mediating variable. The main issues in this context are the weak implementation of systematic knowledge management practices, the lack of a collective knowledge-sharing culture, and the suboptimal integration of information technology to support knowledge transfer and application in the academic environment. The research employs a quantitative approach by distributing questionnaires to 151 permanent lecturers as respondents. Data processing was conducted using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with the SmartPLS 4.0 application. The results indicate that knowledge management has a direct and significant influence on sustainable competitive advantage. However, this influence becomes stronger when mediated by dynamic capabilities, which consist of the institution’s abilities in sensing, seizing, and transforming organizational resources. The path coefficient values for the indirect effect through dynamic capabilities are also significant, underscoring the importance of integrating knowledge management systems with dynamic capabilities to strengthen institutional competitiveness. Furthermore, model testing shows that the structural model used demonstrates high explanatory and predictive power, with R-square and Q-square values categorized as very good. The study concludes that strategies to enhance the competitiveness of private universities should be directed toward strengthening a knowledge-based strategy that emphasizes organizational learning, innovation, and adaptive institutional capabilities. These findings provide both theoretical and practical contributions for higher education management in designing sustainable, knowledge-based strategies.

Abstract

This study aims to design a digital marketing strategy to increase consumer purchase intention for leather bags produced by PT Jayuwan Garut. The Voice of Customer (VoC) approach was applied to explore consumer needs and preferences, which were then translated into technical attributes using the Quality Function Deployment (QFD) method. Thus, the strategies developed are consumer-driven and more targeted. The analysis revealed three main consumer concerns in digital marketing. First, the quality of promotional content with visually appealing elements, such as professional photos and graphic design, plays a crucial role in creating a strong first impression. Second, the ease of finding products through online search is vital, as easily accessible information significantly increases the likelihood of purchase. Third, responsive interaction on social media—such as answering inquiries quickly and politely—helps foster consumer trust and loyalty. Based on these findings, three key strategies are recommended. First, enhancing the quality of promotional content with high-resolution product photos, creative designs, and engaging videos. Second, conducting regular promotions through digital advertisements across platforms (Google Ads, Meta Ads) to expand market reach. Third, applying persuasive techniques through storytelling and influencer marketing so that promotional messages are not only informative but also emotionally engaging. Overall, this strategy is expected to strengthen brand awareness, increase engagement, and drive sales conversion. The study also provides practical contributions for PT Jayuwan Garut in understanding digital consumer behavior and formulating adaptive marketing policies. Beyond the company, the findings can serve as a reference for other MSMEs seeking to leverage digital marketing to enhance competitiveness in the era of Industry 4.0.

Abstract

This study aims to measure productivity, identify causes of fluctuations, and formulate improvement strategies for garment MSMEs in Garut Regency. Data was collected from June to December 2024, covering input variables such as labor, materials, energy, and capital, as well as output variables such as production value in rupiah. The American Productivity Center (APC) method was used to calculate the Productivity Index (PI), Profitability Index (PI), and Price Improvement Index (PI) with a base period of June. The results show that the total productivity index ranges from 98.40% to 101.34%, with the highest value in August (labor IP 120.92%) and the lowest in September (88.72%). Gap analysis revealed the main causes of fluctuations, namely excess stock after Eid, lack of labor discipline, high employee turnover, and inefficient capital costs. The SWOT analysis resulted in productivity improvement strategies, including optimizing experienced labor, implementing incentive systems, flexible work scheduling, efficient raw material planning, increased online promotion, and developing distribution partnerships. This study provides practical contributions in the form of data-based strategy guidelines for garment MSMEs to achieve stable and sustainable productivity.

Abstract

This study aims to measure and plan productivity improvements at PD Dodol Gisan using the American Productivity Center (APC) method. The main problem is the lack of a data-based productivity measurement and evaluation system. The American Productivity Center (APC) is used to calculate the productivity index (IP), profitability (IPF), and price improvement (IPH). The results show that labor IP decreased by an average of 4%, materials fluctuated (96.02 - 105.21), while energy and capital increased by 13.56% and 9.45% respectively from the baseline. The IPF showed a similar pattern, with a decline in materials of up to 11.6% and a consistent increase in energy and capital. The average IPH was 1.0, indicating that profitability was not affected by selling prices but rather by operational efficiency. Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) revealed the main factors behind the decline, namely raw material waste, high absenteeism, energy waste, and lack of equipment maintenance. Improvement planning using the 5W1H method resulted in recommendations for simple SOPs related to raw materials, workforce attendance, energy, and machine maintenance. This study provides a quantitative and practical basis for small industries to improve efficiency and profitability in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

CV Yumna Dress merupakan UMKM yang bergerak di bidang produksi busana muslim dan menghadapi permasalahan tingginya tingkat cacat produk. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang perbaikan kualitas produk menggunakan metode Six Sigma dengan pendekatan DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control). Hasil identifikasi menunjukkan jenis cacat dominan adalah jahitan tidak rapi, kain berlubang, dan noda kain. Berada pada level sigma sebesar 3,83. Analisis menggunakan diagram Pareto, fishbone dan FMEA menunjukkan akar masalah berasal dari faktor manusia, khususnya kurangnya keterampilan menjahit. Usulan perbaikan berupa pelatihan, penyusunan SOP, dan Maintenance mesin jahit. Dengan tahap control simulasi menghasilkan peningkatan nilai sigma sebesar 0.26 dari 3,83 menjadi 4,09. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa metode Six Sigma DMAIC efektif dalam menurunkan cacat dan meningkatkan kapabilitas proses produksi.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate and compare warehouse management performance in Garut Regency based on five main variables: warehouse layout, equipment, SOP standards, human resources (HR), and occupational health and safety (K3). A mixed-method approach was applied, where the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) was used to determine the weight of each variable, while the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method was employed to calculate the total performance score (utility score) and rank warehouses according to the weighted scores of each variable. Data were collected from eight different warehouses through direct observation, interviews, and warehouse check-up audits using a Likert scale. The results show that warehouse layout holds the highest weight at 44.95%, followed by SOP at 23.67%, equipment at 15.02%, HR at 9.75%, and K3 at 6.62%. Warehouse 5 achieved the highest performance score of 94%, indicating the most optimal warehouse management due to its strong performance in layout and K3, as well as high utility scores in the other variables. In contrast, Warehouse 6 obtained the lowest score of 58%, mainly due to poor layout, limited equipment, and weak SOP, highlighting the need for significant improvements. These findings emphasize that layout and SOP are the most dominant factors in determining warehouse management effectiveness, while the other variables serve as supporting elements. The results also indicate that larger-scale companies tend to achieve higher utility scores, reflecting greater maturity across the five evaluated variables.

Abstract

IKM Ayam Boiler menghadapi masalah serius dalam tata letak fasilitas produksi. Tata letak saat ini tidak efisien karena penempatan peralatan yang tidak terorganisir, area kerja yang tumpang tindih, dan jarak perpindahan material yang jauh. Hal ini menyebabkan pemborosan waktu, ruang, dan tenaga kerja. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, penelitian dilakukan menggunakan dua metode: Systematic Layout Planning (SLP) dan metode berbasis grafik. Tujuannya adalah merancang ulang tata letak fasilitas untuk meningkatkan efisiensi. Penelitian dimulai dengan mengumpulkan data dan menganalisis hubungan antar aktivitas menggunakan Activity Relationship Chart (ARC) dan Activity Relationship Diagram (ARD). Setelah menghitung kebutuhan ruang untuk setiap stasiun kerja, beberapa alternatif tata letak dibuat. Perbandingan antara tata letak awal dan alternatif menunjukkan hasil yang signifikan. Tata letak awal memiliki jarak perpindahan material sejauh 1.574 m2. Metode SLP berhasil mengurangi jarak tersebut menjadi 1.559 m2. Namun, metode berbasik Grafik menunjukkan hasil terbaik dengan jarak perpindahan material hanya 1.251 m2. Dengan jarak perpindahan terpendek, metode berbasis Grafik terbukti paling efektif. Penerapan metode ini dapat secara signifikan meningkatkan efisiensi penggunaan ruang dan produktivitas IKM Ayam Boiler. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa adalah solusi kunci untuk menciptakan tata letak fasilitas produksi yang lebih efisien dan efektif.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang ulang tata letak fasilitas produksi pada Industri Mikro Kecil Menengah (IMKM) Reklin yang memproduksi cairan pemutih pakaian. Permasalahan utama adalah jarak perpindahan material yang panjang, alur produksi tidak teratur, dan tumpang tindih ruang kerja yang menurunkan efisiensi. Perancangan ulang dilakukan dengan pendekatan Systematic Layout Planning (SLP) yang didukung metode grafik, Activity Relationship Chart (ARC), From-To Chart, dan Flow Process Chart (FPC). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan total jarak perpindahan material berkurang dari 131,1-meter menjadi 90 meter, atau turun sebesar 31,35%. Pencapaian ini membuktikan bahwa tata letak usulan mampu meningkatkan efisiensi aliran material, menyederhanakan proses produksi, dan mengoptimalkan penggunaan ruang. Implementasi tata letak baru diharapkan mempercepat produksi serta memudahkan pengawasan operasional di IMKM Reklin.

Abstract

The increasingly competitive business environment, particularly in the fashion and accessories industry, requires MSMEs such as D’vat Jaya to design effective and adaptive marketing strategies in order to survive and grow. This study aims to formulate marketing strategies for D’vat Jaya using STP (Segmentation, Targeting, Positioning) analysis and the Ansoff Matrix to enhance its competitiveness in the market. The research employs a descriptive qualitative method with the STP and Ansoff Matrix approaches. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, field observations, and focus group discussions involving the owner, employees, and consumers. The analysis results indicate the need to narrow the market segmentation to students and young working adults, and to implement growth strategies through market penetration using social media and online marketplaces, market development in potential regions such as Bali and Kalimantan, product innovation including new designs and waterproof wallets, and product diversification with complementary items such as pouches and keychains. The integration of STP and the Ansoff Matrix produced a three-stage strategic plan: short-term (0–12 months) focusing on brand strengthening and digital promotion, medium-term (1–3 years) emphasizing product innovation and varied promotional efforts, and long-term (3–5 years) targeting product diversification and market expansion. The implementation of these strategies is expected to enhance brand awareness, expand market reach, and foster sustainable growth for D’vat Jaya.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital mendorong lembaga pendidikan untuk mengadopsi strategi pemasaran yang adaptif guna mempertahankan daya saing. LPK Juku Gakuin Centre sebagai lembaga pelatihan kerja menuju Jepang, masih menggunakan metode promosi konvensional yang kurang efektif dalam menjangkau audiens digital. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang strategi digital marketing berbasis Artificial Intelligence guna meningkatkan efektivitas promosi dan jumlah pendaftar. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode perancangan strategi SOSTAC (Situation, Objectives, Strategy, Tactics, Action, Control). Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi internal lembaga. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan AI melalui penggunaan Meta Ads, WhatsApp Business, Facebook dan Instagram Insights mampu meningkatkan jangkauan informasi, interaksi calon peserta, serta efisiensi operasional promosi. Implementasi strategi digital yang dirancang menghasilkan perencanaan pemasaran yang lebih terstruktur, terukur, dan berbasis data aktual. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penguatan infrastruktur digital, peningkatan literasi teknologi bagi sumber daya manusia, serta integrasi sistem promosi berbasis AI secara bertahap. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi acuan strategis bagi lembaga pendidikan kerja lainnya dalam mengoptimalkan pemasaran digital sebagai respon terhadap dinamika pasar tenaga kerja internasional yang kompetitif.
