Abstract

PD. Jaya Rasa is a micro, small, and medium enterprise (MSME) in the food industry that produces makaroni cikruh. The issue faced is the fluctuating monthly production, which is inconsistent and fails to meet targets. Therefore, the objective of this study is to measure productivity and analyze improvements across several factors—such as labor, energy, raw materials, and machinery—that contribute to the decline in productivity, in order to utilize company resources more efficiently and effectively. This study uses the American Productivity Center (APC) method to determine productivity, profitability, and price improvement values by accounting for labor, raw materials, energy, and total inputs. To identify the root causes of productivity decline, a Fishbone Diagram is applied. The study finds that the highest productivity index was in energy at 106.367 percent during January, while the lowest was in labor at 91.864 percent in December. The proposed recommendations include monitoring the production process, conducting regular performance evaluation and skill training, and purchasing more modern packaging equipment, such as a sealing machine, to accelerate the packaging process.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk merancang strategi perusahaan yang dapat dikembangkan di UMKM Pabrik Cuanki Garut berdasarkan pendekatan Model SOSTAC serta Mengetahui model digital marketing yang akan dilakukan UMKM Pabrik Cuanki Garut yang digambarkan pada Model SOSTAC berdasarkan hasil analisis SWOT mengenai strategi digital marketing. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif-deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi kasus serta memanfaatkan metode SOSTAC dan SWOT analisis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media sosial merupakan saluran penting bagi Pabrik Cuanki Garut untuk memasarkan produknya. Hal ini dapat dilihat pada platform Instagram dan TikTok. Oleh karena itu, Pabrik Cuanki Garut perlu secara rutin memperbarui konten di masing-masing platform media sosial tersebut. Kesimpulannya, dengan menggunakan strategi pemasaran yang tepat Pabrik Cuanki Garut perlu mengoptimalkan media sosial untuk memasarkan produknya. Demikian strategi pemasaran digital menggunakan model SOSTAC pada UMKM Pabrik Cuanki Garut telah diterapkan dan akan terus dilakukan kontrol.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the business model of Surpet Collection MSMEs using the SWOT Analysis and Business Model Canvas (BMC) methods. It also aims to identify the company's strategies through SWOT analysis and BMC that can be developed based on the BMC results, then design a business model to be implemented by Surpet Collection MSMEs as described in the BMC future approach, which is qualitative descriptive using SWOT analysis and business model canvas techniques. The three respondents who play an important role in Surpet Collection MSMEs in this study are improvements in the mapping of the current business model canvas, which has The results of the SWOT analysis provide an overview of the company's condition in quadrant III (WO). The strategy obtained from the SWOT matrix (WO).

Abstract

Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi adalah bagaimana meminimalkan keterlambatan dan menghindari penalti pada distribusi BBM yang memiliki karakteristik dinamis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan rute pendistribusian bahan bakar minyak (BBM) ke SPBU menggunakan algoritma genetika di Fuel Terminal Tasikmalaya. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif. Dengan menggunakan metode Capacitated Vehicle Routing Problem with Time Windows (CVRPTW), algoritma genetika diharapkan mampu menghasilkan solusi optimal dalam variabel jarak dan waktu. Penelitian ini berfokus pada beberapa batasan variabel, termasuk biaya operasional, kapasitas angkut kendaraan, utilitas kendaraan, dan potensi penalti. Data yang dikumpulkan mencakup permintaan BBM, kapasitas mobil tangki, jarak antara Fuel Terminal Tasikmalaya dan SPBU, waktu tempuh perjalanan, biaya operasional, waktu bongkar muat, spesifikasi mobil tangki, dan penggunaan mobil tangki dalam satu periode pengiriman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model ini dapat mengurangi risiko keterlambatan pengiriman. Pada data awal mobil tangki Z9357TB akan mengirimkan BBM ke tiga SPBU yang berbeda, pada SPBU tujuan akhir menunjukan keterlambatan, mobil tangki Z9357TB tiba di SPBU 34.46.310 terlambat 17,5 menit, setelah dilakukan optimasi rute oleh algoritma genetika dengan memilih rute terpendek, sebagai urutan awal mobil tangki mengunjungi SPBU, keterlambatan dapat diminimalkan menjadi 0,0 menit artinya SPBU tujuan akhir tidak lagi terlambat. Selain itu, penelitian ini memberikan rekomendasi kepada perusahaan mengenai penerapan model optimasi rute dan mengidentifikasi peluang pengembangan lebih lanjut untuk meningkatkan efektivitas model tersebut.

Abstract

The implementation of the Merdeka Belajar-Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) program faces operational challenges that have resulted in a teaching material achievement rate of only 93.4 percent, which is below the institutional target. This study aims to design Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to improve the quality of MBKM learning services through the integration of the SERVQUAL and QFD methods. Primary data were collected through questionnaires from 90 students and 10 lecturers. The SERVQUAL analysis results showed a negative gap in all service attributes, indicating that perceptions did not meet expectations, with one of the largest gaps found in the aspect of lecturer competency assurance (-0.70). Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA) identified responsiveness as the top priority for improvement. Based on this priority, this study produced a validated SOP design for students and lecturers. This SOP is expected to serve as an operational guideline for standardizing and continuously improving the quality of MBKM learning services.

Abstract

This study aims to provide recommendations for improvements to reduce the defect rate in the tofu production process at PD Mulya Mandiri. This study was motivated by the high defect rate, which has an impact on operational efficiency and production quality. The Quality Control Circle (QCC) method with the Seven Tools and Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) approaches were used to identify the main causes of product defects and determine effective improvement measures. The analysis was conducted through the collection of defect data, the creation of a Pareto chart, and the tracing of root causes using a cause-and-effect diagram. FMEA was applied to evaluate the potential risk of failure and set improvement priorities based on the Risk Priority Number (RPN). The results of this study identified the main causes of defects and provided recommendations for improvement. The implementation of these solutions is expected to reduce the defect rate by up to 3% and improve product quality consistency. It is hoped that the results of this study can be used as a reference for the application of more optimal quality control strategies in the production process.

Abstract

PT. ZXY is a company engaged in the processing of palm oil to produce Crude Palm Oil and Palm Kernel. A common problem in crude palm oil factories is a decline in the quality of crude palm oil caused by an increase in free fatty acid content. PT. ZXY has a free fatty acid standard of 3.50%, while the actual free fatty acid content can reach an average of 3.92%, making it necessary to control the quality of free fatty acids. The analysis was conducted using seven tools as aids to identify problems at PT. ZXY and can be used as a basis for improving the CPO production quality control system in the palm oil processing industry. The proposed improvements that can be made to enhance and control employee performance are the need to provide training on the proper implementation of SOPs with easy-to-understand information so that SOPs can be implemented properly.

Abstract

Workplace accidents still frequently occur in the industrial world, especially in the manufacturing industry, particularly on manufacturing production lines. Based on observations, most accidents are caused by unsafe behavior on the part of workers, such as rushing, carelessness, and non-compliance with work procedures. This study aims to identify and analyze the causes of unsafe behavior and provide solutions through a Behavior Based Safety (BBS) approach combined with the 5W1H method. Data was collected through direct observation, interviews, and documentation of workplace accidents. The analysis was conducted using the ABC (Antecedents–Behavior–Consequences) tool, which maps the triggers of behavior (antecedents), the behavior displayed (behavior), and the consequences (consequences). The results of the study show that the application of BBS is effective in increasing workers' awareness of work safety. Routine observations and direct feedback have been proven to reduce the risk of workplace accidents. The findings from the ABC analysis can be used as a basis for formulating more targeted strategies for improvement and accident prevention.

Abstract

Pengukuran kerja merupakan aspek penting dalam meningkatkan efisiensi dan produktivitas operasional di berbagai sektor industri manufaktur. Namun, metode pengukuran kerja konvensional seperti Stopwatch, MTM, Motion Study, Work Sampling, PBS Lean Manufacturing, CMS , dan Work Factor masih menunjukkan keterbatasan, baik dalam hal akurasi maupun kemudahan penerapan di lapangan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Systematic Literature Review (SLR) terhadap 50 artikel ilmiah dari berbagai sektor manufaktur untuk mengkaji kelebihan dan kekurangan metode yang ada. Hasil sintesis menunjukkan belum adanya metode yang secara optimal menyeimbangkan antara kompleksitas dan kepraktisan implementasi. Sebagai respon, dikembangkan pendekatan alternatif berupa Metode Bundle, yang mengelompokkan aktivitas kerja menjadi tiga fase utama: pra-proses, inti proses, dan pasca-proses. Pendekatan ini memadukan kekuatan beberapa metode eksisting yaitu Motion Study, Stopwatch, MTM, dan PBS. prinsip penyederhanaan dan adaptabilitas tinggi, sehingga lebih relevan untuk diterapkan di berbagai jenis industri yang memiliki keterbatasan teknis maupun sumber daya.

Abstract

KN Collection UMKM is a small to medium-sized enterprise engaged in the production of knitted caps. In its operations, this production unit still faces various challenges that impact the achievement of optimal production targets. Some common issues encountered in the field include the high downtime of knitting machines, which causes sudden production halts and disrupts the overall workflow. Additionally, production targets are often not met, both in terms of quantity and completion time, due to the unstable performance of the machines. In this research, I propose improvements using the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) method to reduce machine performance degradation and downtime on the knitting machines. TPM is applied to maintain and optimize equipment efficiency, eliminate failures, and provide maintenance recommendations through daily operations involving all personnel.The results of measuring the knitting machines using the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) method at KN Collection MSME showed an increase in the OEE value from 69% to 89%. The highest OEE value occurred in March at 89%, while the lowest was in February at 69%, which is close to the ideal OEE standard threshold of 85%. The most significant loss contributing to the low OEE value was speed loss, which accounted for 117%. To optimize maintenance at KN Collection MSME, it is recommended to provide training on procedures to predict potential machine failures, so that operators can immediately report issues to the maintenance department for follow-up action.
