Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to determine the effect of Prior Knowledge Evaluation (EPA) and the influence of Student Worksheets (LKPD) on Learning Outcomes Evaluation (EHB) and to determine the differences in learning outcomes between students who have high initial knowledge and students who have low initial knowledge by using Discovery Learning (DL) model integrated Generic Science Skills (KGS) in Acid Base material. This research was carried out using a dual paradigm design with two independent variables (X), namely the EPA value and LKPD value and one dependent variable (Y), namely the EHB value. The population in this study were all class XI MIPA 2 of SMA S IT PMDU Kisaran and the sample for this research was class Implementation of the learning model is carried out using learning tools in the form of teaching materials and LKPD. The instruments used in taking student grades consist of EPA questions, LKPD, EHB and student observation sheets during learning. Data analysis used multiple linear regression tests and independent sample t-tests. The test results show that there is a significant influence between the EPA and LKPD values on the EHB value. There are also differences in EHB scores between students with high initial abilities and students with low initial abilities. Keywords: Discovery Learning, KGS, Acids and Bases. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Evaluasi Pengetahuan Awal (EPA) dan pengaruh Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) terhadap Evaluasi Hasil Belajar (EHB) dan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar antara peserta didik yang memiliki pengetahuan awal tinggi dan peserta didik yang memiliki pengetahuan awal rendah dengan menggunakan model Discovery Learning (DL) terintegrasi Keterampilan Generik Sains (KGS) pada materi Asam Basa. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan menggunakan desain paradigma ganda dengan dua variabel bebas (X) yaitu nilai EPA dan nilai LKPD dan satu variabel terikat (Y) yaitu nilai EHB. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas XI SMA S IT PMDU Kisaran dan sampel dalam penelitian ini kelas XI MIPA 2 sebanyak 32 orang peserta didik yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling. Implementasi model pembelajaran dilakukan dengan menggunakan perangkat pembelajaran berupa bahan ajar dan LKPD. Adapun instrumen yang digunakan dalam pengambilan nilai peserta didik yang terdiri dari soal EPA, LKPD, EHB dan lembar observasi peserta didik selama pembelajaran. Analisis data menggunakan uji regresi linear ganda dan uji independent sample t-Test. Hasil uji menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara nilai EPA dan LKPD terhadap nilai EHB. Terdapat pula perbedaan nilai EHB antara peserta didik dengan kemampuan awal tinggi dan peserta didik dengan kemampuan awal rendah. Kata Kunci: Discovery Learning, KGS, Asam dan Basa.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine how to create, develop and feasibility of STEM-based thermodynamics e-modules integrated with problem solving in improving critical thinking skills and learning outcomes of class XI students of SMA YPK Bintuni. The research method is research and development (R&D) by adopting five stages of the ADDIE model (analyze, design, develop, implement and evaluate). The instruments used in the study were e-module feasibility test sheets, learning outcome tests and critical thinking ability test results for the trial use of e-modules. E-modules were analyzed empirically using the SPSS version 20 application. The developed e-modules have been validated using a Likert scale on aspects of content feasibility, language feasibility and presentation feasibility. The sampling technique was purposive sampling, with a research sample of class XI IPA SMA YPK Bintuni with a total of 20 people. The results showed that the developed STEM-based Thermodynamics e-module integrated with problem solving was very feasible to be used in learning with an average validator assessment of 90%. The Thermodynamics e-module is practical to use and effective in improving critical thinking skills and student learning outcomes, obtaining n-Gain of 0.53 in the medium category and 0.71 in the high category respectively.   Keywords:   E-module, Thermodynamics, critical thinking skills, problem solving, STEM.             Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui cara membuat, mengembangkan dan kelayakan e-modul termodinamika berbasis STEM terintegrasi problem solving dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar peserta didik kelas XI SMA YPK Bintuni. Metode penelitian ini adalah research and devolopment (R&D) dengan mengadopsi lima tahapan model ADDIE (analyze, design, devolopmnet, implemention dan evaluation). Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian adalah lembar uji kelayakan e-modul, tes hasil belajar dan tes hasil kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik untuk uji coba penggunaan e-modul. E-modul dianalisis secara empirik menggunakan aplikasi SPSS versi 20. E-modul yang dikembangkan telah divalidasi menggunakan skala likert pada aspek kelayakan isi, kelayakan bahasa dan kelayakan penyajian.  Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah purposive sampling, dengan sampel penelitian kelas XI IPA SMA YPK Bintuni dengan jumlah 20 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa e-modul Termodinamika berbasis STEM terintegrasi problem solving yang dikembangkan sangat layak untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran dengan rata-rata penilaian validator sebesar 90%. E-modul Termodinamika tersebut praktis digunakan, dan efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar peserta didik memperoleh n-Gain masing-masing 0,53 kategori sedang dan 0,71 kategori tinggi.   Kata kunci: E-modul, Termodinamika, kemampuan berpikir kritis, problem solving, STEM

Abstract

This study aims to find out how to make an integrated science module, develop an integrated science module,  and improve science process skills by using an integrated science module based on inquiry learning on food additives. Research Methods Research and Development. The research sample was conducted in class VIII A SMP Negeri 1 Sentani with a total of 32 students. The results showed that: 1) How to make a module through seven stages, namely module needs analysis, module design, implementation, assessment, evaluation, validation and quality assurance of the module, using four module components, namely the opening, introduction, learning and evaluation. 2) The development of an integrated science module based on inquiry learning on food additives material through the arrangement of stages of making modules for the use of the school environment Very feasible category to be used as teaching material and 3) Assessment of students' science process skills in RPP 1 to RPP 3 learning produces an average percentage of 69.75% with the skilled category.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the interaction between the application of learning systematic problem solving solutions and Wanket-Oreovocz. Experimental and demonstration methods have different effects. The number of students in this study were 70 students who were divided into two classes, namely the application of systematic problem solving strategy learning which amounted to 34 students and the application of the Wanket-Oreovocz problem solving strategy class totaled 36 students in terms of the application of experiments and demonstrations. learning methods. Samples were taken using the purposive sampling technique. The research design used in this study is a factorial design. Data analysis using Anova technique with SPSS software version 16.0..Research results of data analysis in this research used to improve students’ cognitive learning outcomes in terms of application of learning systematic troubleshooting strategy and demonstration method obtained 0.59 which was in moderate “category”, the application of Wanket-Oreovocz troubleshooting strategy and experimental methods obtained 0.56 which was in moderate “category”. Wanket-Oreovocz troubleshooting strategy that obtained 0.61 was also obtanined 0.61. Results hypothesis showed that there is difference in cognitive learning outcomes between the application of learning systematic troubleshooting strategy and Wanket-Oreovcz (sig-value 0.854 > 0,05); there are differences in cognitive learning outcomes between the application of experimental method and demonstration method (sig-value 0.035 < 0.05);and there is no interaction between systematic troubleshooting strategy and Wanket-Oreovcz, which demonstration method was better used than experiment method.

Abstract

Education can be created through an active learning atmosphere in developing the self-potential of students to have religious spiritual strength, self-control, personality, intelligence, noble character, and skills needed by themselves, society, nation and state. This study aims to determine the influence and relationship between motivation to learn chemistry on cognitive learning outcomes of students at SMA Negeri 1 Manokwari on colloidal system material. The research method used is a quantitative experiment with an associative approach. This research design used pre-experimental design in the form of One-Shot Case Study. The sampling technique in this study used the Non Probability Sampling Technique, with Purposive Sampling. The samples used were students. Data collection instruments included a questionnaire on motivation to learn chemistry and tests of cognitive learning outcomes. The results showed that there was a significant influence between the motivation to learn chemistry on students' cognitive learning outcomes, which was indicated by the significance value obtained from the simple linear regression test and the correlation test, namely 0.0001 and the R Square value of 33%. and there is a positive relationship between motivation to learn chemistry on cognitive learning outcomes of students.

Abstract

This research is a research and development (Research & Development) which aims to find out how to develop a discovery learning-based biology learning module to increase the interest and learning outcomes of students class X on plant material at YPK Bethel Aimas High School, Sorong Regency.The data analysis technique used descriptive presentation to determine the feasibility of the module. The results of there search show that: (1) The interest of students in learning biology increased after using the biology module, before using the module is 77, 94% after using the module increased to 90.81%; (2) There is anincrease in biology learning outcomes after modules as indicated by the n-Gain value in RPP 1 of 0.52, RPP 2 of 0.63, and RPP 3 of 0.69.

Abstract

This research is a research and development (research & development) which aims to find out how to make an integrated physics module STEM-PjBL, how to develop an integrated physics module STEM-PjBL, the feasibility of an integrated physics module STEM-PjBL, and learning outcomes using the integrated physics module STEM-PjBL on direct current electrical materials and the advantages and disadvantages of the STEM-PjBL integrated physics module.The results of the study show that there is an increase in student learning outcomes after using the STEM-PjBL integrated physics module, based on the average n-Gain result of 0.66 in the medium category which means that the use of the STEM-PjBL integrated physics module is good in improving student learning outcomes

Abstract

Abstract: The aim of this research is to describe teachers' difficulties in implementing environmentalscience learning based on local wisdom at MI Nurul Huda Ketambul Palang Tuban, East Java.. The researchmethod used is a qualitative descriptive research design. Data collection techniques are interviews,observation and documentation. The subjects of this research were 1 teachers and 21 students. Based on theresearch results, it shows that teachers still experience difficulties in the planning, implementation andevaluation processes. The difficulties experienced by teachers are a lack of training in making teachingmodules based on local wisdom which results in teachers not understanding how to relate the material tothe surrounding environment, a lack of learning time if all lessons are carried out using learning based onlocal wisdom because the school has to achieve learning material targets, students are too active whenstudying outside the classroom, and the students' sentences are less structured so it is difficult for the teacherto evaluate. So the solution to overcome this problem is to take part in training to improve the teacher'sability to carry out learning.Keywords: teacher difficulty, science learning, local wisdom, elementary school.

Abstract

Abstract: Research skills are important for students because they can help identify problems, collect sourcesof information, channel resources for the quality and relevance of research and produce effective solutionsto problem solving. This study was conducted in three different schools in the city and district of Cirebon.The three schools include SMA Negeri 1 Sumber, SMA Negeri 1 Ciwaringin and MAN 2 Kota Cirebon. Theresearch method used is descriptive qualitative. The results of this study indicate that students' research skillsin Cirebon need to be improved. It is recommended for SMA/MA Cirebon teachers to apply active andcollaborative learning methods, such as project-based learning or laboratory experiments, with the aim ofimproving students' research skills. It is hoped that these steps will contribute to the development of students'critical and analytical thinking skills, and foster independence in research.Keywords: Research skills, Laboratory, Critical thinking skills, Problem solving

Abstract

Abstract: This study was conducted at SMP Negeri 2 Pontianak to test the effect of project-basedlearning (PjBL) on students' motivation levels and learning outcomes, and to understand the extent towhich perceptions of mathematics learning are related to motivation and learning outcomes. The methodused was an experiment with a posttest-only control design. The analysis showed that applying the PjBLmodel significantly affected learning motivation (sig value = 0.045) and learning outcomes (sig value =0.000). In addition, there was a significant positive relationship between students' perceptions ofmathematics learning and their motivation to learn (sig value = 0.000), although the relationship was notfound with learning outcomes (sig value = 0.933). Overall, the interaction between students' perceptionsand motivation on learning outcomes did not show a significant effect (sig value = 0.358). Therefore, itcan be concluded that the use of the project-based learning model is effective in improving student’smotivation and learning outcomes.Keywords: Project-based learning, motivation, learning outcomes
