Abstract

This research aims to find out how to create, develop and feasibility of science e_modules in improving students’ abilities, interest and learning outcomes. The research method is research and development, the process used to develop and validate educational products carried out in class V of SD Negeri Inpres Perumnas IV Padang Bulan, with sample of 27 students. The research data collection instruments are egibility validator sheet for the lectures, science teacher response sheet, students response sheet, and pretest and postest question sheets. The research result show : 1) making a science e_ module with the stages of analyzing e_module needs, e_module design, and validating. 2) The feasibility of the science e_module developed optained a percentage of 94% with the category very suitable for use as a teaching material. 3) the science e_module is effective in improving students outcomes, obtaining n_gain  score which is 0,61 in the medium category.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of using Android-based Smart App Creator media with the STAD type cooperative learning model on students' learning outcomes and interest in chemical bonding material. The research was carried out from September to December 2023 at SMA Negeri 1 Silima Pungga-Pungga. This research uses a test instrument in the form of multiplechoice questions with 20 questions and a non-test in the form of a learning interest questionnaire with 30 statements. The sampling technique used in this research is random sampling, namely random sampling. The research sample was students in classes X-1 and X-6, totaling 36 people in each class. Hypothesis I test uses the right-sided t-test with the research results obtained by the value tcount > ttable, namely 5,36 > 1,666. Hypothesis II test uses the right-sided t-test with the research results obtained tcount > ttable, namely 11,57 > 1,666. Hypothesis Test III uses a correlation formula with the research results obtained rcount > rtable, namely 0,547 > 0,339. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence on students' learning outcomes and interest in learning using Android-based Smart App Creator media with the STAD type cooperative learning model on chemical bond material and there is a relationship between students' learning interest and student learning outcomes taught using the media. Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of evaluating students initial knowledge and worksheets on learning outcomes and to determine the difference in learning outcomes between high initial knowledge and low initial knowledge using an integrated Guided Inquiry learning model of Generic Scinece Skills on Chemical Equilibrium material. This research used a dual paradigm design with two independent variables and one dependent variable. The population in this study were all students in class XI IPA at SMA Swasta Kartika I-2 Medan, which consisted of 4 classes. The sample in this study was taken using a purposive sampling technique from 1 class, namely XI IPA 1 which is taught using the Guided Inquiry learning model integrated with Generic Science Skills using learning tools consisting of evaluation of initial knowledge, teaching materials, student worksheets and evaluation of learning outcomes. The instrument used in this research were initial knowledge evaluation test instruments, learning outcomes evaluation test instruments, learning outcome evaluation test instruments, student worksheets and the non-test instruments used were student observation sheets. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression tests and Independent Sample T-Test. The results of analysis of the data obtained show that there is a significant influence between the evaluation of students initial knowledge and worksheets on learning outcomes and there is a difference between students with high initial knowledge and worksheets on learning outcomes and there is a difference between students with high intial knowledge and students with low initial knowledge.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how to create a problem-based Integrated Science e-module, develop a problem-based Integrated Science e-module, the feasibility of a problem-based Integrated Science e-module, improve learning outcomes for class VIII students using the Science e-module Integrated problem-based material on business and energy. The research method used is research and development (R and D). This research was carried out in class VIII of Yembun State Middle School, Tambrauw Regency with a sample size of 28 students. The research data collection instruments were eligibility validator sheets for lecturers, science teacher response sheets, student response sheets, and pretest and posttest question sheets. The research results show: 1) Making a science e-module with 8 stages. 2) Development of a science e-module through a structure for creating a science e-module in five stages using the ADDIE development model. 3) The feasibility of the science e-module being developed obtained a percentage of 95.26% with the category very suitable for use as teaching material. 4) Integrated Science E-module can improve students' science learning outcomes by obtaining an average n-Gain score of 0.71 in the high category

Abstract

Students at the vocational higher education level prepare to become graduates and are ready to be used by industry. The objectives of vocational higher education are to develop other skills and valuable training for students facing the industry world in the future. This skill is called scientific skill. Students need to be involved in various appropriate activities in the learning process to develop students' scientific skills. Students need scientific skills to design their work steps, process skills, and report practicum results in reports and presentations. Ethnoscience is related to the culture of a society. It contains local or original science, where knowledge has become part of a society's culture and is passed down from generation to generation. Students learn by integrating scientific science with original science so that students make more sense in learning. Living knowledge in society can be transformed into scientific knowledge and used as a good learning resource for students. Ethnoscience-based textbooks can be a suitable learning resource to support culture-based learning activities from the natural environment realized in textbooks and audio-visuals. Abstract

The availability of modules as teaching materials is very limited so it is an obstacle in learning chemistry, especially material on the periodic system of elements. Therefore, this research aims to develop and validate the feasibility of a chemistry module on material on the periodic system of elements based on guided inquiry and to analyze how students and teachers respond to the product being developed. The research and development (R&D) method is the method used and ADDIE is the development model applied as a methodology. The module developed is very suitable for application in chemistry learning, according to the results of the analyzed data. The average assessment from validators is 95% very decent and the response from colleagues is 98% very good, the student response is 97% very good

Abstract

Abstract: Technology and information have progressed quite rapidly, as seen from the emergence of gadgets as a means of communication. Given the importance of digital literacy in responding to what is obtained from the internet, the author wants to see how the relationship between the use of gadgets and digital literacy in biology education students at HKBP Nommensen University Pematangsiantar. The sample was taken by the purposive sampling method with students majoring in biology education at HKBP Nommensen Pematangsiantar university as a sample. The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between the use of technology and digital literacy in biology students HKBP Nommensen University Pematang Siantar which often utilizes technology. The research method uses qualitative research methods and saturated sampling strategies. Google Form surveys with Likert scale are used to collect data. Judging from the survey, Generation Z is currently more dominant in watching videos than literate through e-books with a percentage rate of 78.4%. The low digital literacy among Generation Z is influenced by the wrong use of gadgets. There is a close relationship between digital literacy and the use of gadgets, namely using gadgets to find existing sources to increase one's insight and ability to improve quality in oneself. Keywords: gadgets; digital literacy, biology students, HKBP Nommensen University Pematang Siantar Abstrak: Teknologi dan informasi mengalami kemajuan yang cukup pesat, terlihat dari munculnya gadget sebagai alat komunikasi. Mengingat pentingnya literasi digital dalam menyikapi apa yang di dapat dari internet maka penulis ingin melihat bagaimana hubungan penggunaan gadget dengan literasi digital pada mahasiswa pendidikan biologi di Universitas HKBP Nommensen Pematangsiantar. Sampel diambil dengan metode purposive sampling dengan mahasiswa jurusan pendidikan biologi di universitas HKBP Nommensen Pematangsiantar sebagai sampel. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis hubungan antara penggunaan teknologi dan literasi digital pada Mahasiswa Universitas HKBP Nommensen Pematangsiantar yang sering memanfaatkan teknologi. Adapun metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dan strategi sampling jenuh. Survei Google Form dengan skala Likert digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data. Dilihat dari survei tersebut bahwa generasi Z saat ini lebih dominan senang melihat video daripada berliterasi melalui e-book dengan tingkat presentase 78,4%. Rendahnya literasi digital di kalangan generasi Z dipengaruhi oleh penggunanan gadget yang salah. Terdapat hubungan yang erat antara literasi digital dengan penggunaan gadget yaitu menggunakan gadget untuk mencari sumber -sumber yang ada untuk meningkatkan wawasan serta kemampuan seseorang guna meningkatkan kualitas dalam dirinya. Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the effect of prior knowledge evaluation and student worksheets on learning outcomes and to determine the differences in learning outcomes between high prior knowledge and low prior knowledge using the Guided Inquiry learning model integrated with Generic Science Skills on Acid Base material. This study uses a dual paradigm design with two independent variables and one dependent variable. The population in this study were all students of class XI MIPA SMA Negeri 1 Pantai Cermin consisting of 3 classes. The sample in this study was taken using a purposive sampling technique of 1 class, namely class XI MIPA 2 with a total of 34 students who were taught with the Guided Inquiry learning model integrated with Generic Science Skills using learning devices consisting of prior knowledge evaluation, teaching materials, student worksheets and evaluation of learning outcomes. The instruments used in this study were the initial knowledge evaluation test instrument, the learning outcome evaluation test instrument, student worksheets and the non-test instrument used was the student observation sheet. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression tests and Independent Sample T-Test tests. The results of the data analysis obtained showed that there was a significant influence between the evaluation of prior knowledge and student worksheets on learning outcomes and there was a difference between students with high prior knowledge and students with low prior knowledge. Keywords: Guided Inquiry, Generic Science Skills, Acids Base Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh evaluasi pengetahuan awal dan lembar kerja peserta didik terhadap hasil belajar dan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar antara pengetahuan awal yang tinggi dan pengetahuan awal yang rendah dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Inkuiri Terbimbing terintegrasi Keterampilan Generik Sains pada materi Asam Basa. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain paradigma ganda dengan dua variabel independen dan satu variabel dependen. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas XI MIPA SMA Negeri 1 Pantai Cermin yang terdiri dari 3 kelas. Sampel dalam penelitian ini diambil dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling sebanyak 1 kelas yaitu kelas XI MIPA 2 dengan jumlah peserta didik 34 orang yang diajarkan dengan model pembelajaran Inkuiri Terbimbing terintegrasi Keterampilan Generik Sains dengan menggunakan perangkat pembelajaran yang terdiri dari evaluasi pengetahuan awal, bahan ajar, lembar kerja peserta didik dan evaluasi hasil belajar. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah instrumen tes evaluasi pengetahuan awal, instrumen tes evaluasi hasil belajar, lembar kerja peserta didik dan instrumen non tes yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi peserta didik. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji regresi linear ganda dan uji Independent Sample T-Test. Hasil analisis data yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh yang signifikan antara evaluasi pengetahuan awal dan lembar kerja peserta didik terhadap hasil belajar dan ada perbedaan antara peserta didik yang pengetahuan awal tinggi dengan peserta didik yang pengetahuan awal rendah. Abstract

Abstract: The development of the era is currently increasing rapidly along with the development of technology. This causes the needs of society for their survival to increase along with the development of technology, one of which is the need for energy. Bioenergy development is one way to meet energy needs in the future. The use of bioenergy can reduce greenhouse gas emissions and can achieve sustainable energy development. Briquettes are one of the carbon-containing fuels that can burn for a long time and have a high calorific value. The banana peel sample used was 100 grams of kepok banana peel. The stages of this Biobriquette analysis include 4 stages of research, namely: Raw Material Preparation Stage, Carbonization Stage, Adhesive Making Stage, and Analysis Stage of Calorific Value, ash and water content. From the results of the study, it was obtained that the two samples of banana peel Biobriquettes had met the provisions of SNI 01/6235/2000 in terms of calorific value, water content and ash content. Based on the results of the analysis carried out, the biobriquette sample B, namely banana peel biobriquette with tapioca flour adhesive, has a good calorific value, ash content and water content of 5438 Cal/gram, 4% and 4.2% respectively. Keywords: Calorific Value, Ash Content, Moisture Content, Biobriquettes, Banana Peels Abstrak: Perkembangan zaman pada saat ini meningkat pesat seiring dengan berkembangnya teknologi. Hal ini menyebabkan kebutuhan masyarakat akan kelangsungan hidupnya meningkat pula seiring dengan perkembangan teknologi tersebut salah satunya adalah kebutuhan energi. Pengembangan bioenergi merupakan salah satu cara untuk memenuhi kebutuhan energi dimasa yang akan datang. Penggunaan bioenergi dapat mengurangi emisi gas rumah kaca serta dapat mencapai pengembangan energi yang berkelanjutan. Briket merupakan salah satu bahan bakar mengandung karbon yang dapat menyala dalam waktu lama dan memiliki nilai kalor yang tinggi. Sampel kulit pisang yang digunakan adalah kulit pisang kepok sebanyak 100 gram. Adapun tahapan analisis Biobriket ini meliputi 4 tahapan penelitian yakni : Tahap Persiapan Bahan Baku, Tahap Karbonisasi, Tahap Pembuatan Perekat, dan Tahap Analisis Nilai kalor, kadar abu dan air. Dari hasil penelitian, diperoleh hasil bahwa kedua sampel Biobriket kulit pisang telah memenuhi ketentuan dari SNI 01/6235/2000 ditinjau dari nilai kalor, kadar air dan kadar abu. Berdasarkan dari hasil analisis yang dilakukan, sampel biobriket B yakni Biobriket kulit pisang dengan perekat tepung tapioka dengan nilai kalor, kadar abu dan kadar air yang baik masing-masing sebesar 5438 Cal/gram, 4% dan 4,2%. Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to the feasibility of guided inquiry-based Chemistry e-modules on the material of colligative properties of solutions, improve science literacy skills and learning outcomes of students. The research sample was the population of class XII MIPA3 SMA Negeri 1 Bintuni with a total of 33 students. Data collection using purposive sampling technique, Research instruments are material feasibility validation sheet and media feasibility, teacher response sheet, student response sheet, The results showed: 1) The feasibility of chemistry e-modules from material expert validators and media experts is 97% very feasible category, 88% teacher response is very good category, and 91% student response is very good category. 2) Students' science literacy skills average n-Gain test 0.46 medium category. 3) Increased learning outcomes of students on average n-Gain test 0.56 medium category. Keywords: Quided Inquisiry; Chemistry E-Module; Colligative Properties Of Solutions Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk kelayakan e-modul Kimia berbasis guided inquiry pada materi sifat koligatif larutan, meningkatkan kemampuan literasi sains dan hasil belajar peserta didik. Sampel penelitian adalah populasi kelas XII MIPA3 SMA Negeri 1 Bintuni dengan jumlah 33 peserta didik. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, Instrumen penelitian yaitu lembar validasi kelayakan materi dan kelayakan media, lembar respon guru , lembar respon peserta didik, Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1) Kelayakan e-modul kimia dari validator ahli materi dan ahli media sebasar 97% kategori sangat layak, respon guru 88 % kategori sangat baik, dan respon peserta didik 91% kategori sangat baik. 2) Kemampuan literasi sains peserta didik rata-rata uji n-Gain 0,46 kategori sedang. 3) Peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik ratarata uji n-Gain 0,56 kategori sedang.
